RPG Torneko, Semester 1

[color=009966][i]Elsyan quickly stood up and followed after Fli.[/i]

Elsyan: "Fli, wait up! It won't do any good going out there alone. I'll come with you."

[i]Fli paused for a moment to wait for her to catch up.[/i]

Fli: "Alright, but we gotta hurry. For all we know, they could've frozen to death, fallen through some thin ice and drowned, get lost, or be dragged away by some creature."

Ace: "Gee, aren't we being pessimistic?"

Fli: "I'm just stating the facts."

[i]They didn't have to go far before they found some prints in the ground. They were very obscurred, however, and just look like someone was playing in the snow.[/i]

Elsyan: "You know what, I think they were dragged away by some creature...."

Fli: "What makes you say that? It just looks like someone was rolling around here."

[i]Elsyan knelt down and pointed to some talon marks in the snow. The claws were the size of a watermellon. [/i]

Ace: "That is one big bird....."

Elsyan: "Apparently while they were wandering around, something appeared out of the blizard."

[i]Elsyan stared from one marking to the next, reading the prints as if she were reading a book.[/i]

Elsyan: "It looks as if someone was sitting right here, then dodged to the side just as the bird came after it, or at least judging by the imprint in the snow with the talon mark on top of it. Then it looks like there was a struggle of some sort, then the tracks end here."

Fli: "That's probably when the thing carried them off."

[i]All three of them were quiet a moment, then looked at each other, sharing the same thought.[/i]

Elsyan: "You don't think that it's the bird Bozel was telling us about, do you?"

Fli: "I'll bet anything that it is. Come on. We've wasted enough time already. Let's find the others."[/color]

[Turkey]

[I]Slowly, Charlie woke up. Still dizzy from his arm, he quickly used a simple spell to stop the blood flow, and to make the body start healing it.[/I]

Charlie- Guess I won't be climbing anytime soon. Well, at least my left arm's fine. *Notices that Mischief and Geist are right beside him, and begins shaking them* Hey, you guys okay? Wake up!

[I]After a little shaking, they woke up, both with headaches.[/I]

Charlie- Does either of you know where we are?

Geist- Beats me. I was hit from behind.

Mischief- I saw you being carried by that huge thing, so I tried to stop it. But it knocked me out and brought me here too.

Geist- So, we are it's dinner.

Mischief- Not yet. That bird's too big. It's probably looking for the rest of us, before enjoying it's course.

Charlie- Well, that buys us more time. I think this little accident may end up helping us...:smirk:

[i]Karina blinked as she pused her head up from the snowdrift she was in and groaned as she rolled over onto her back in the snow. She rubbed her head with her hands all the while curseing about her stupidity.[/i]

Karina: Some teacher I am, losing all the students I was supposed to be watching!!

[i]Karina slowly got up and brushed the snow off of herself. She suddenly heard a shriek from behind her, she knew that scream all too well. She ducked as the beast-bird swooped over her narrowly missing her head with its talons. She turned to where it disappeared, and yellled into the wind.[/i]

Karina: Bring it on bird! You wanna piece of me?! Then come and get me! instead of swooping in and being a coward!

[i]She heard the bird screaching as it circled back around, Karina suddenly realized in horror that she could not harm it. She saw the bird diving in to claim its prize... her! She dropped onto her stomach but the bird was smarter this time, it dove lower and slashed her back lightly with its talons, drawing blood.It screamed in furry that it had not caught her and came in one last time. Karina lay there helpless as the bird dove in again... she prayed that it would not catch her...[/i]

[Avalon]

Avalon looked at the screen, "The dots disappeared!" she shut off and folded up her laptop and tucked it way, sitting down for a while.

"Hmm, well, who would have thought that I might die freezing to death?" she spoke, seeing the air escaping her mouth. She walked slowly, yelling for help.

[Walnut]

Kinga stared at the growing snow and felt mildly board. She really should do somehting a little more interesting but there was nothing to do. The little red creature was running around calling her mamu or summat like that and was getting on her nerves.

There was also a sound that sounded like a call for help but it was a mixture of other sounds as well. She got up and decided that she was going to go and find out what had gone on with her friends. She set off into the snow, followed by the little red dragon, and used her sense of smell to find her way around.

After a time she became aware of a sound and slowly a large shadow fell across her....another sound followed but was drowned out by a scream of MAMU!!!

[Geist]

[I]Geist sat down in the snow.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "So, we're just going to wait here then? Should we hide when it gets back with the others and then try to grab a feather, or do you have a different plan Charlie?"[/COLOR]

((Just so you know the bird is an npc anyone can feel free to use it in their post. Just keep in mind this a GROUP adventure so don't go accomplishing the whole mission by yourself.))

The bird beast had circled several times. The small appetizers it had been picking up were starting to group together. The bird knew survival and though it reasoned it could still take them it wasn't going to take a risk. So it came upon a simple plan. Just keep circling them until the blizzard takes its toll on them, then it can swoop in and pick the rest up.

Of course in the mean time it's flawless vision had spotted another lone person and the beast darted low and fast going after Avalon.

Meanwhile back on campus.

[COLOR=indigo]"Ok so let me get this all straight. Vivian says it will be Mischief, Junko says its going to be Avalon and I say its going to be that simple little beast playing with the dragon's.[/COLOR] Bozel wrote all this on a note pad then he turned to the monitor behind him that showed Cage in his engineering bay.

[COLOR=indigo]"And what do you say Cage?"[/COLOR]

He rubbed his chin. [COLOR=seagreen]"Speaking from scientific calculations. Charlie has the highest probability of being the first person to get eaten."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=indigo]"Ok then thats all the bets. No changing them later like some of you tried to do when no one bet on Charlie."[/COLOR]

[Turkey]

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- This is my plan: The bird should come back pretty soon. When it lands here, I will start running away from it. While it is disctracted, you will come out from the snow, climb into it, and grab a feather. You have to be fast, or else you won't have the chance to hop on. Meanwhile, I will keep running until I fall into a small tunnel that we'll make. Once we have the feather, we hurry to find the others and get to the lake.[/COLOR]

[Geist]

[COLOR=red][B]Charlie:[/B] "I'll get started on the tunnel. One of you need to grab onto the bird once it lands."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Mischief will have to take that job. I can't grab onto the bird and grab a feather at the same time. I'll help with the tunnel."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Charlie:[/B] "Okay. Then lets get started."[/COLOR]

[I]A little while later...Geist and Charlie were almost finished with the tunnel.[/I]

[COLOR=darkred][B]Mischief:[/B] "Hurry guys! I think it's coming!"[/COLOR]

[B]Well everyone Torneko was originally a chat rp and this was my attempt to bring it into a message board. However its just not working out. Perhaps the idea just doesn't work on boards. Oh well it was a cute little run anyway and thanks to all the players for helping me out with this little experiment. This rp is now officially closed.[/B]

With this, I've done all I can to revive the RPG...

IC:

[I]The Bird was coming quickly, carrying Kinga in its claws. Kinga grabbed the little dragon with her left arm, since the other one was trapped between the bird's fingers. Charlie and Geist had been working with all their strengths to complete the tunnel. Now, they were standing in plain sight. Mischief had been hiding under a small snow pile, ready to strike at the Bird.

It started its landing phase, ready to dine on the feeble humans it caught. As Kinga concentrated her eyes, she (and the Bird) saw a small red glow coming from the snow. Suddenly, it became a huge ball of fire, directed at them. The bird dodged quickly, but the fire brushed one of its wings, and made feathers fly everywhere. This event caused Bird to go crazy with anger, and release Kinga. She fell on top of Mischief.[/I]

[COLOR=darkred]Mischief- *Getting up* I'm okay. Look, we need you to hurry and get the other students to the portal. We are going to get the feather. Please, hurry.[/COLOR]

[I]Without hesitation, Kinga nodded, and then hurried down the mountain, dashing as fast as she could. She did not know it, but her stone was giving her energy...An energy that would help her reach the others in time.

Meanwhile, Charlie and Geist were running away from the angered Bird. They approached the tunnel, and disappeared from the Bird's sight. While it looked for their traces, they ran and came out the side of the mountain.

Back in the "nest", Mischief caught one of the Bird's feathers. Grabbing it with all his strength, he ran down the mountain in the direction of the pool (now glowing with various lights).[/I]

[COLOR=darkred]Mischief- That must be the pool! I can't believe it...it's almost over![/COLOR]

[I]At first he didn't notice it, but Charlie and Geist were running right beside him. It seemed that the stones reacted to the danger, and gave their wearers more strength. They got to the mountain's base, and noticed that the lake was closer than they expected.[/I]

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- Don't stop under any condition! The Bird is behind us![/COLOR]

[I]Without stopping, Geist and Mischief looked backwards. The Bird was gliding towards them, fire in its eyes. If it hadn't been for their stones, the 3 would've become dinner.

Surrounding the lake, all the other students (and Karina) were standing, using their stones to give a light signal. Kinga had managed to collect them all, and was the first to use her stone as a beacon.

10 minutes passed, then Elsyan saw the group dashing towards them.[/I]

[COLOR=limegreen]Elsyan- Here they come! They have the feather, and also a huge (hungry) bird behind them![/COLOR]
[COLOR=deeppink]Karina- Everyone, get on top of the ice! The Quiz is about to end![/COLOR]

[I]The next events happened to fast for anyone to get an idea of what was going on. Charlie's group was running at an exaggerated speed. They crashed with Karina's group, and the feather flew into the air. The bird was just feet away from them; when Fli stood up, jumped high into the air, grabbed the feather, and fell down into the ice.

When the feather touched the ice, it instantly melted back into the portal. Without even a second's delay, they fell. None of them was able to measure the time spent in the portal, but they eventually resurfaced. The sun was beautifully shining in the sky. Lots of persons were around them, cheering at them.

They had returned to Torneko. All of them, speechless, walked up to Bozel.[/I]

[COLOR=indigo]Bozel- You have all passed the test. From this moment on, you are part of the School of Torneko. The classes begin tomorrow at 8:00AM sharp, so get a rest. *Smiling* You deserve it.[/COLOR]

[I]And this marked the beginning of another year at Torneko. The group exchanged compliments, and went to their rooms. Some would become best friends. Some would rarely talk to each other. But they all knew one thing: They would all remember each other for ever.[/I]

Okay... I'm with Joe... *cracks knuckles* - Oh yeah, and don't ask about witchy woman... If anyone has any ideas, go for it O_o I was stuck for what to write

[i]Lost, as usual, Fli trod up the coridoor in a bit of a daze. That had just been the wierdest thing to ever happen to him. He, quiet, shy Fli had just taken part in, what was in his eyes, a great adventure. And he, as part of a group, had succeeded. With this thought in mind he continued walking.
Every door looked the same to him, until he realised there was a name engraved into the grain of the wood. He stopped by a door and traced the name with a finger.
Then, with a yelp he jumped back, as the door was opened savagely and a sour face peered out.[/i]

[b]???:[/b] Who're you?!

[b]Fli:[/b] *surprised and taken aback* I'm lost...

[i]The face peered out curiously, a swollen eye regarding him suspiciously. She looked more like a witch than a student, but Fli was sure he was supposed to go down this way...[/i]

[b]???:[/b] Y'name's Lost hmmm?

[b]Fli:[/b] *stuttering* N-n-no, my name's Flight...

[b]???:[/b] You sure?

[b]Fli:[/b] *nods* As I can possibly be...

[b]???:[/b] Positive?

[i]Fli watched in something akin to utter confusion as the woman then nodded as though a question had been answered and slammed the door hard, making him wince as the sound echoed up the coridoor. Then a voice came to him through the door.[/i]

[b]???:[/b] Greenies are further down Flight, fuuuuuurther down...

[i]Terrified, Fli obediently went further down the coridoor, until he found a door with his name on it. He wiped fresh sawdust from the door thoughtfully before opening it and going in.[/i]

[Turkey]

[i]After finally getting to the dorms, Charlie checked his map.[/i]

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- Hmm.....I have to go up, so the elevator is...Oh! Here it is![/COLOR]

[I]He got into a large, yellowish elevator. When he extended his arm to press the "Faculty" button, a small bee-like robot came out of the ceiling, and bit Charlie in the arm.[/I]

Beebot- DNA sampled. Thank you for your cooperation. *Robot dissapears*

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- What was that all about?[/COLOR]

[I]Meanwhile, upstairs, Cage was sitting in a small office. A paper came out from a Fax machine. He took it, and added it to an archive that read: People to nuke if caught stealing.[/I]

[Avalon]

Avalon looked at the door with her name on it. [i]Hmm...I guess this is my room, huh.[/i] she thought, opening the door. A cat purred inside, jumping on her.

Avalon smiled, "Kyoko! Don't scare me like that!" petting the cat, she put her down and sat on the bed.

"Hmm...I wonder what's going to happen tomorrow." she spoke, closing her eyes and dozing off to sleep.

[Walnut]

Kinga, now back in her human form, looks along the rows of doors and feel suspiciously left out. Maybe she shouldn't have gone balistic at the creatures but she couldn't help it, animal instincet overtook her and she was designed to kill in order to protect.

Still at least she could stay here, which was a good thing. She continued along the doors until one appeared with the name 'Kinga' on it. She smiled and walked it.

It was a very simple room, with a bed, desk, TV, wardorbe and another door which she could only guess held the bathroom. A large pen sat in one corner and she walked over to it. The samll red dragon lay curled up in a ball. It opened one of its tiny eyes and a faint 'Manu' was heard.

Kinga: Yep, I'm Manu *gently strokes its head*

Kinga got up and went to the bed. On it were her bags and badge. She looked at it with interest and smiled. It was her old ID badge and it had been modified with the Torneko symbol. She quickly put her things away and then decied to go and find Fly and a couple of the others to see if they wanted something to eat.

[color=009966][i]Elsyan walked down the hall, looking at all the many doors with many different names on them. At last she came to one that had "Elsyan" engraved near the top. She turned the handle and walked in.[/i]

[i]Elsyan saw that all her belongings had already been brought up to her room, and she also saw, to her surprise, that the furniture in her room was of elven-make: the bed, the desk, the the doors, and the trunk. Whoever had brought all this stuff sure was trying to make her feel at home. The only things that didn't seem to be elven was a strange shiny black box in one corner of the room. Curious, Elsyan walked over to it. It was shiny on the front part, and under it was a word that said "Television", whatever that was. Ontop of the box was a thin rectangular object with buttons on it. She picked it up and examined it. Near the top was a botton that had the word "on" printed in red. Elsyan pushed the button.

Suddenly the box turned on, and a picture of colors and sound appeared! Elsyan fell backward in astonishment. What was this monster?! She quickly fumbled with the rectangular object and pushed the "off" button. Just as suddenly as it came alive, the Demon-Box died. [/i]

Elsyan: "What....what in the name of the Abyss was that?!"

[i]Elsyan sat on the floor for a while, breathing hard. Finally she got up and stayed away from It as much as possible. She picked up an extra pillowcase off the bed and, cautiously, approched the Demon-Box, then threw the pillowcase over it. Feeling a little safer, Elsyan began to unpack her belongings.[/i][/color]

[i]They had made it! Karina would have kissed the ground, but restrained herself from doing so. [/i]

Karina: Whoo hoo!

[i]After watching the rest of the group disperse, she went her own way... the LONG way to her room...

Karina walked down the brightly lit hallway all the while looking at her school map, she suddenly stopped and looked up at a perticualer door. On it she saw her name engraved.[/i]

Karina: Yes, finally! ...Now where did I put that silly thing?...

[i]She reached in and pulled a keycard from her pocket, after sliding it through the slot in the door. She heard a digital [b]>beep!<[/b] and the door opened, revealing a room illuminated by the late afternoon sun's rays. She saw a bed, dresser, couch, all the normal things, except... there was a few cages and a bird perch over on the far wall, all of which were empty. She guessed that it was for either her "small" summons or a few of the students summons when classes finally got started. But currently, she was too tired to care. She went and lay down in her bed and within moments, was asleep.[/i]

[Geist]

[I]Geist opened the room to his room. All of his stuff was waiting for him on his bed.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Looks like everything's here. I guess I'll go see Cage now."[/COLOR]

[I]Geist walked back down the hallway and met Kinga.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Oh hi, Kinga. What are you doing?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red][B]Kinga:[/B] "I going to get something to eat. You wants to come?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Sure."[/COLOR]

[I]Geist and Kinga went to go find Fli.[/I]

[Walnut]

Kinga and Geist walk along the rows and eventually finds a door with Flight written on it. Kinga gently knocks on the door and there is a rather startled and grogy groan and slowly the door opens.

Geist: Hello Fli, fancy summat to eat?

Kinga: Yeah, they're susposed to have good grub here. I'm famished

Fli: Yeah, hang on

Fli dives back into his room and comes out a few seconds later.

Fli: So where's the canteen?

[Turkey]

I wonder...Does Jester know that his RPG is still alive?

IC:
[I]Charlie had been in his room, trying to get some sleep for a while. He glanced at the clock, only to groan at the hour:[/I] [B]7:30 PM[/B] [I]Giving up on sleeping, he went to get some food. Along the way, he bumped into Kinga, Fli and Geist.[/I]

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- *Giving a small wave* Hey there![/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Kinga- Hey Charlie![/COLOR]

[b]Fli- Are you going to eat, too?[/b]

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- Yeah, I couldn't get any sleep.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]Geist- Can't blame you for that.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Kinga- Can we talk while we walk?[/COLOR]

[B]Fli- Yeah, let's.[/B]

[I]Leaded by Charlie, they managed to get in the "Lunchroom". The place was huge, easily covering the size of a football stadium. There was a big, but quickly moving line getting food, all served by a cook that would've looked weird outside this school. In a side of the room, there was some sort of show going on, and Magical TVs were floating everywhere, displaying the show.[/I]

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- Wow....They remodeled...[/COLOR]

[Walnut]

Kinga smells the food and licks her lips hungrily.

Kinga: Smell yummy, I'm gonna go in the line

Kinga walks up to the line and picks up a tray. The menu has everything possible listed on it. Kinga didn't recognise most of the different foods but one caught her eye. 'Large Chicken and Mushroom Pie with chips and Triple Frosted Strawberry Milkshare £1:30' (ooc: sorry folks I live in UK so I use £s and not $s K). She decied that was definatly for her and smiled warmly at the cook as she ordered it.

[Geist]

OOC: I don't know. I wonder if he cares?

[I]A few chili dogs later...[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Oh man, I feel like I'm going to burst! I shouldn't have had so much to eat! Well, I'm going to go find Cage. Do any of you know where he might be?"[/COLOR]

[I]They all shook their heads.[/I]

[COLOR=blue][B]Geist:[/B] "Oh well, I'll just go look around. I'll see you guys later."[/COLOR]

[I]Geist waved to everyone and went to go look for Cage.[/I]

OOC: I hope he figures out it's still here... I'm not sure what we're supposed to be doing for classes at any rate O_o

[i]Fli poked his turkey burger curiously.[/i]

[b]Fli:[/b] Y'know... I'm sure this thing is made out of rubber...

[i]Kinga proceeded to completely ignore him and carry on devouring her pie and chips. Fli sighed in defeat. There was no way he was going to get her attention away from her food. Unless...
In an act of daring and cunning, he took one of the chips off her plate and ate it.[/i]

[b]Kinga:[/b] *gobsmacked* Watcha doin' dat for?!

[b]Fli:[/b] *shrugs* I was hungry... And you were pretty... uhh... absorbed, by the idea of eating yourself silly. *taking another one and absently waving it around, with almost no intention of eating it* Watcha think the whole point of this is? *pauses* I mean, is it [i]really[/i] just a school out in the middle of China, or is it here for a reason?

[b]Kinga:[/b] *watches Fli in a comical manner, a chip half-poking out of the side of her mouth* Uhh... me not knowin' dat... I not thinkin' mesa care much...

[b]Charlie:[/b] *smiles quietly to himself and continues eating, declining to answer the question*

[b]Fli:[/b] *shrugs in defeat and puts the chip back on Kinga's plate thoughtfully* No, I guess I just think too much...

[Turkey]

IC:
[I]They were all enjoying the food. From fruits, to rice, to strangely colored meats; each single student was having something he liked. And those who didn't, too bad for them. While Geist, Kinga, Fli and Charlie ate, the lights started darkening, in preparation for the show. Not far from them, a strange sound was heard.[/I]

Student2- Hey, what's this?

Student1- Ow! That's my eye!

Student2- Liar! Eyes aren't so rough!

Student1- I'm part lizard, you moron!

[I]After that calm, friendly chat; a lot of noise was heard. The two students got into a fight. The lights turned up again, Charlie got up, and ran towards the students. He quickly split them up. One of them looked suspiciously ordinary (almost generic). The other one, had a scaly green skin, and, well...he was a giant talking lizard.[/I]

[COLOR=purple]Okay, I won't bother asking who started this, since we all heard your little chat, you pair of hotheads![/COLOR]]

Lizard- Sorry...

Generic Student # 1283748- Yeah...we are just a little nervous.

[COLOR=purple]Charlie- Okay then, but there better not be another outburst like this. Otherwise *Flashes his "Street Fighting Teacher" ID*, I'll have to kick both your asses.:)[/COLOR]
