But then happened something that the history has long since forgotten, and the Guardians were sealed away. The world fell into a chaotic era, as the balance was shattered. Now, after centuries of living in an ideological void, the people have received a new belief: Technotheism, belief in the power of technology. Fame, fortune and profit are now considered as virtues, altruism and generosity as weaknesses. People think they are living in an ideal society, until a bitter war between two of Asqar's greatest nations begins, and the distruction of mankind seems inevitable. Yet, some knowledge from the past has preserved, and a miscellaneous group of people learn about the ancient Guardians, and are set to seek out the prisons of the forces before it is too late...[/i][/center] This is how the world of Asqar lies when this amazing journey begins. Would [i]you[/i] like to participate to this great quest to seek out the truth, and attemp to save the world of Asqar from ruination? Here's your chance! There are 12 playable characters in this RPG, but as me and my assistants have already chosen our characters, 8 more can join us (if the demand is high, some new characters will be included). This is done the traditional way, so I, the gameleader, have created these characters for you - with names, appereances, bios, fighting styles and all that stuff. Anyhow, you get to [i]be[/i] your character, s/he will do whatever you decide (and I approve), and his or hers personality is ALL up to you, as well as the character development. This will ensure that eg the backgrounds will remain a secret until revealed during the game. There's going to be some great art coming from this game, and each of the players will get at least one picture of their character. Unfortunately I don't have any within reach to show you, but the pics will come, promise... As you see, I've created some kind of a combat system to this game, which includes unique weapons, special moves and various opponents. To play this RPG it is not OBLIGATORY to write about combats, but I thought some people will enjoy a proper battles like in the real FF-games. Everybody will get their own weapons, moves and stuff in the PM. Alliances have to do with the Guardians, who will appear as summoning monsters in this RPG. I have included most of the summons from the games, like Shiva and Ifrit, who can be seen in my current banner. The Guardians have to do with magic, and Yin and Yang refer to the types of magic: Yin includes curative+enhancive+offensive magic and Yang includes detrimental+offensive magic. Nut more about these later. [u]About participation:[/u] I've worked my butt off with this thing, so everybody who intent to post like "I kill u all, MWAHAHAA!!!" do NOT bother to sign in. Unfortunately only one can play each character, so I can't promise you will get to be JUST the one you wanted. So please [u]list max. THREE possible characters you'd like to be in the order you want[/u]. The decisions will be made by those lists: if you can't be the one at the top of the list, you can probably be the second or third. Remember that more characters will come if the success of this thing is completely overwhelming (which I doubt). Oh, and in order to participate you do NOT really have to know much about the Final Fantasy games (only the idea of them), but this will be most enjoyable to those who are familiar to the series. Hmm, have I forgot something...? Well, if you have ANY questions, just ask me! Now, let's see what kind of welcome this gets.... Oh yes, the game will *probably* start at the beginning of February. I repeat that I want good gaming to this RPG! ...Eh, sorry, I'm just anxious...I'd best put another list in. This is the characters in the order of significance (meaning how dedicated the player should be to this game): *Very* main characters: Mena Keio Diablo Ebonine (Torean) (Xeed) *Less* main characters: Cristan Rouge Starlet Rubio (Lotus) (Strago) But this list just my thinking, it might very well change during the game. I hope you consider the amount of time you can give this game, so that your character doesn't just become someone the others drag behind. Also you should convince me that you WANT to be in this game, for obvious reasons. But don't be alarmed, I like the way this recruitment is turning out. Their looks may change a bit when Ginny shows her work, but now you'll have at least SOME kind of view of how the characters look like. Well, Cristan's role is now dealt to Lalaith Ril, so only ROUGE is available -for some reason, nobody is willing to play her... Why doesn't anybody want to be a true vamp? :smirk: Dark_A., I'm not sure about Vixen being a playable character... I've considered it, but she has SUCH big a secret that I don't want it to be revealed in the first page or anything... Other possible characters are Kumog (the moogle), and some of the gang-members of Diablo. So if there's people you REALLY REALLY REALLY want to be in this game, I can make some new roles, but they won't have such a big part...
