Gaming Pokemon Crystal

I just got the Crystal version, and I was wondering what the mobile adapter is. I haven't got that far yet, but I read about it somewhere. Plus, I just wanteed to remark on how cool it is that the Pokemon move now, even if it is just when they are first encountered. Do ya'll think they will do that for the Ruby and Saphire versions?

I believe that you are speaking of the new Pokégear feature of the game, because there isn't a "mobile adapter." o_O You receive that at the very beginning of the game from your Mom.

I also agree that the two-second sequence of movement is very cool. It tripped me out when I first saw it, though. ^^ It is likely that they will continue this trend with Ruby and Sapphire, as it would be really cheap (meaning really stupid) otherwise...[/color]

The mobile adaptor - yeah I read about that too. In Japan, y'see, they released the game so it could be plugged [i]somewhere[/i] in a mobile phone (don't ask me how) and for a [b]small[/b] fee you could battle your friends by "ringing" their mobile in-game, and if they answered their mobile in the game - which I suppose they would hafta be playing at the time - then you could fight or talk or whatever. I doubt that part made it to the US version...

That's what I heard anyway - don't hold me to it O_O! If the cartridge [i]looks[/i] like it can plug into a mobile then... I'd be surprised...
