BandWidth
Cuz that's what this place reminds me of. I can't even make a short, 4 word post with humerous connotations because I have to put "more thought" into my posts. **** that. Seriously, you Administrators need to lighten up. When you admonish people for posting simple, witty (or not so witty) comments, you're one step closer to being just tyranical (which I think you are). Now, as the subject declares, this will be my last post, and I'll grace you all with the lack of my presence. Also, I am aware that this is your board to do with as you like, and yay; I simply disagree, and feel that I have been unfairly scolded on several occasions. Maybe it's just that the forums that I used to populate were much more liberal that otakuboards.com, but I just hope some Moderators give a little bit more thought into what deserves a warning/ban. I know many of you are great people, and have a great time on these boards, so if you don't wish too, don't look to deeply into my complaints. Back to the Smashing Pumpkins forums. (BTW, let it be known that I'm in full favor of censoring innapropriate language; don't think that I wish to be nothing but obscene and obnoxious)

Kinetic
"I feel that they are incredibly leniant." And that they are. The moderators and administrators of this board are very leniant, as you put it, and give you a fair share of second-chances before banishment. I have seen Cloricus' remarks and don't agree that it's his place, and that it is a job for the moderators, although I have no personal vendetta with Cloricus. All that was asked of the members was to read the rules and abide by them. I have seen a few of your posts that did not, but I have seen a few that were clean. That is expected of most new members, but it's not that hard to keep all of your posts clean. I know some of mine are short and could contain extra thought, but I usually put my point across clearly and don't even post that often, I mostly read everything. Before you go and call these boards the "Nazi Germany," you should take a better look at your actions. You are the one who made a topic complaining, you are the one who posted poorly (not including this post, you did well). All I have to say is what has been said many times before. You come here under your own will, and you may leave under your own will. If you don't enjoy these boards, leave. If you do, try your best to abide by the rules. Hyper
Well would a two word post be as important and thoughtful as another post with four paragraphs?
Mitch
Woah, my friend, you haven't even punched our harsh undertones. God bless, and may the flag stand true, as the Hammer, he flew by you. Take a testament, give me rule, for the Hammer's rule is sweetly cruel. Amen. Court is adjourned, and... I'm not sure I've heard of Nazi and Germany. I mean, I'm so harsh and all, I can't even remember anything but cruelty. When I get a reality check, I'll give the rain check back to you, and...you all know the rest. :Strokes his Hammer: My precciooussss...What would we do without us?
James
Smashing Pumpkins forums...ahh, can you smell the scent of spam in the air? ^_^ No need to be angry, friend. We make our policies very clear on our rules page. And we insist that members read the rules before joining. If you fail to do so, that is a risk you take when posting. We advocate high quality posts; in terms of spelling/grammar and of course, effort. You'll notice that there are members who can say the silliest of things without being banned. This is because we don't ban based on what you say. We ban based on the effort you use in relation to our rules. Let's face it, nobody's forcing you to be here. This is an open marketplace. If you don't like us and you prefer another board, that's cool. But for those who want a high-quality, spam-free environment...well, we're provoding that. Not everyone will like it, just as not everyone will like anime and gaming. It doesn't mean we're tyrants, it just means that we have different standards that appeal to a certain audience.
