LostProphet
This is a help question, not for OB, but for the net in general. I've recently set up a weblog account on Blogger. I have no idea what I'm doing. When I go to my 'page' (artilleryboy.blogger.com (sry mods, I know no advertising, its example)) it comes up to the main page for blogger. Can anyone help? Semjaza
You should be uploading to artilleryboy.blogspot.com If you use ---.blogger.com instead, it won't know what to do and will load Blogger.com itself.
conpiracymonki
I'm not sure what you mean. If you want to try and make a blog-post, then go to 'blogger.com', and then sign in. Then click on the blog link on the right hand side (or create a new one) and it shoudl take you to the blog-making page. Your address is where your blog'll show up after you 'publish' it. I think that's what you meant. If not, sorry
LostProphet
Semj answered it the first time. Now the problem is that it isnt updating. I've posted twice and added edits to the HTML, yet nothing has happened. Hmmmm
Semjaza
Are you using a custom template? If you are... First thing I would do is copy your HTML out of the Blogger template section and paste it into Notepad (just incase). Then try one of Blogger's default templates and see if that'll work. You'll have to click the "Publish" button first. If that works, then whatever your original template was is messed up. If it doesn't work, then there is some bigger problem lol. If you are using custom templates... The thing you have to remember is that all the Blogger tags have to be inbetween , otherwise they won't be recognized and nothing will show up. LostProphet
I'm using one of their templates, but I added my own links instead of the defaults. Thats the only change I've made. Its basically just cut and rename. I dunno otherwise
GinnyLyn
If knowledge serves, you must edit your template before you post. Also, if you are having problems seeing if your posts are updating or not, check the chronological order of your posts. Do you have it in reverse order (preferred method) or the "proper" order? If in proper order, later posts appear after the earliest post. This has confused me before. Just scroll down, and they should be there. As far as the archives go, there's been a lot of problems with those lately for all Bloggites, so... A final word--I've noticed Blogger does not update the second you post. I usually go to my page, wait about 15 seconds, then refresh--and the posts/changes/what have you show up.

LostProphet
I decided to redo it. Cut and Paste is such a wondeful option. If anyone in interested in my semi-charmed life, IM me and I'll give you the NEW address
