Dragon Warrior
This be a poem I wrote earlier this school year, back in the pimpin' 2002! w00t! Alright. The Shadow Knight He lives in the shadows as the shadows live in him, not a part of him that wasn't terribly grim. His armor is as dark as a moonless night, the scars of it acknowledged, souvenirs of past fights. His mail but a bit stained from his sweat, 'twas from defeating his foes who did fret, for he was more than one mere Shadow Knight, the bringer of pain, the forger of fright. He was Luther, doling the name of the devil, bringing pain, misery, and suffering to several. His falchion glistens after every slay, a counsel to all to stay out of his way. Brutal and hateful, death comes from every blow, like the burn of the sun, the bite of the snow. But these dreadful ideas are not all he could think, for he wrote all who he has slain with parchment and ink. A list in which he locked to his girdle, the contence of which would make your blood curtle. A man with a mind filled with hexes and curses, which were written down on this document in wretched verses. His conscience was killed by his ill-gotten deeds, and now feasts on misfortune in which he needs. His soul, vanquished, taken by force, causing his voice to sound dire and coarse. His grip is as frigid as the winter's wind, a consequence that was given for all he has sinned. His eyes show no color, just darkened and cruel, reflecting his foe's pain in wicked black pools. And yet you still wonder how he lives, with knowing all the anguish that he gives. But he knows that his blade drips his foe's pride, taking their lives in a few quick strides. To us, he's a madman or even a fool, but us to him, we're just life's tools. With a purpose to kill and a life so dim, he lives in the shadows as the shadows live in him. -Gavin K. Dragon Warrior
That's right. Bow before your all-powerful master ^^ But anyways, thanks for the compliments. I also have this poem I made in about 1 to 2 minutes ^^ Just for fun. Silly Mirror Peer at yourself in a mirror, Do you see a frown or a sneer? Are you happy or are you sad, There are those who tend to be mad. But does the mirror tell the truth? It is hard to tell. But what is certain is within the glass, you may surpass, What you know very well. -Gavin K. Brown
