Clone High

If no one has seen this show, it's an animated show on MTV that airs at 10:30 p.m. (supposedly). The concept is a high school made completely out of teenage clones of some of history's most famous people, like Abraham Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Mahatma Gandhi, JFK, and Cleopatra. They were made by an insane mad scientist (and his wise robot companion) who was paid by the government to clone everyone.

I love this show.

It's just such a great show. It's not the funniest show I've ever seen, even though it has its moments. (That robot calling everyone Wesley was great. ^_^) But it's the kind of humor that makes me smile a lot.

That's not why I like it, though. It just seems to be such a smart show to me, the story and all. I only saw one episode, but the chemistry between Abe and Joan is very fun to watch. Watching Joan vie for and help out Abe from the sidelines... And Gandhi is a great supporting character to Abe and Joan.

And the characters are great. They work out the stereotypes so well. The characters they used just fit. Abe is the pure hearted nerd who always does the right thing, Joan is the angst-ridden Goth, JFK is the school prep, and Genghis Khan is the extremely dumb big guy. And of course, there are the stereotypes that contrast the original character so well, like Gandhi being a party animal.

And of course, the animation is fantastic.

I think that this is the best show I have seen in a while, and I am surprised it came from MTV. What does everyone else think of this show?

I also love this show. Its funny how they're usin clones of people from the past. I know most folks are gonna say that JFK is the best, I honestly gotta say that I love Ghandi(sp?). Ghandi is funny as a mug on that show.

But other then just Ghandi, the animation of the show is awesome, and the comedy is just their. Although I havent seen the second ep yet, I heard it was pretty funny. I'm definetly gonna check it out before I watch Lupin III tonight when it comes on at 11:30pm.

But this is probably one of the best animated shows that MTV has put out...probably since Beavis and Butt-Head. But then again, we're only within the second ep. Hopefully it doesnt get bad on us. We'll have to see though.

yech. I couldn't stand Beavis and Butthead. Daria and The Maxx were always my favorites.

Anyway, Clone High seems like a pretty good show. Ghandi is my favorite character, too. He's still anti-voilence, but he's a party animal, too! The other funny part is what a womanizer Kennedy's clone is, just like the original. :)

I've only seen one episode and im sad to say that i wasn't very intrested!:( I think they will cancel this one real soon!:( I kinda like the whole concept of the show but i just couldn't get into it!:(
But if i had to pick my fav character it would have to be ghandi for the fact that he is a party animal!!!!:D

The principle and his english robot butler who calls everyone wesly are amazing. They are so funny. That, and Atilla the Hun is just a big, hilarious guy, kinda like Patrick. Anyways, this show is hilarious, its got the outlandishness of Spoungebob, but its more for older kids with racier subject. Totally sweet.

I heard Manson was guest starring on a recent episode... I'm not sure who he plays or what, but maybe one of you knows? I honestly don't watch MTV at all, but this sounds kind of cool heh.

MTV is already getting into a lot of heat over that whole Gandhi thing. I don't know what they plan on doing about it though, if anything.

manson plays himself.

1.he is a judge for the applause-o-meter that decides who will be the next class president.
2.he is also a nutritionist and saves gandhi's life after gandhi eats nothing but "X-stream blu", a new "extreme" food for a week.
X-stream blu later turns out to be nothing more than pancake batter mixed with blue house paint.
3.he performs a song about the food pyramid and why its important to eat healthy.

funny as crap, man.

I have seen a few episodes, and from what I have seen, the show has a lot of promise. Parts are sort of slow, others, extremely funny. I will probably have to wait a bit longer to make a final decision (or. . . at least a more solid one), but if the show makes me laugh at all, it gets points. . so, *claps for Clone High* hurray! =P

The news media can make anything look bad when it really is not. Clone High is nothing compared to South Park the person who wrote that article prolly hasn't even seen a full episode of the show and is just writing the article based on seeing small clips of the show and hearing the concept. From what I have seen so far of Clone High I like it, my favorite character would have to be Joan of Arc I guess because I relate to her character alot. My favorite episode has to be he one about ADD and ADHD.
