And now it's thirty years further on. Babies have been cloned. Their intelligence, eye colour and even what food they like is being strictly controlled. But the government aren't going to go public with this genetic scandle. Not until they create the world's first "Super-Soldier". Children, bred like crops, to be reaped and put to war. To be disgarded if they aren't quite "right". God has been raped by his own children.
This whole thing sucks, big time. I don't want to stand by any more...

But I have to wait... We're almost ready to go. And we're going to free these people...[/i]

Okay people, this is my first time in starting an RP, so be gentle ^_^ Sarsy is also co-hosting (starting... beginning... whatever you wanna call it) this rp with me.
That little extract was basically a "teaser", if you like. And the storyline is basically that. We need about 3 or four players to be "Super-Soldiers" that were rejected. And when these soldiers are rejected they are destroyed. Well, the resistance don't want your characters getting destroyed, so they're going out of their way to protect you guys and free you. In return you're gonna hafta help them destroy the whole program, the whole "Super-Soldier" idea.
Oh yeah, and you guys are gonna have a lot of electrical influences. Like, you can be hacked into, or you can be electronically tagged, stuff like that. Which is why the hacker part of Nathan is relevent ^_^
Okay, here are my characters (yes I have two, but there are strategic reasons for it)

[b]Personality traits:[/b] He's basically a boy with no parents, and was adopted by the resistance because they recognised his skills with computers. Nowadays, such skill has been outlawed, but hackers still exist in the underground. That's why Nathan doesn't flich at the legal implications of what he does - he's got nothing to lose.
[b]Physical Appearance:[/b] Not overly tall, but quite thin, with bright green eyes and an unruly mop of black hair.

[b]Personality traits:[/b] Very emotional, and indecisive, and can change his mind on a penny. But once he has an idea he won't budge from it for anyone. Has also been repeatedly recorded for violence. He is the "leader" and the whole group is inclined to follow his direction, but they [i]can[/i] disregard it if they want to.
[b]Physical Appearance:[/b] Would have dark brown hair if he had any (all the soldiers are bald, even the girls, soldiers have no need of hair), expressive hazel eyes, and an average build, and average height.

Please don't recycle characters, think of something new and original! BTW, there's no bio since you were created where you are. You don't have any unique history I'm afraid.

Arai is also a determined girl, nothing can stop her. She is often seen with unicorn (genetic scientists do it again!), she calls Slasher.
Physical Appearance: Shoulder length dark red hair that she keeps undreneath a black ski cap, and brown eyes. She wears a black jumpsuit with a marron shirt over it. She is meduim height, and carries a knife.

Okay, there're two problems with your post Azzi:

1) There is NO HAIR on any of the soldiers - You can say it would've been shoulder-length had she a choice, but unfortunately it's not

2)Nope, no Slasher - maybe I should've been clearer in the original post, this is a Sci-fi rp, so magical powers, fantasy creatures etc. will not be appearing. But, as an interesting twist, Arai could maybe hullucinate and think she can see Slasher? And everyone else tolerates it as "amusing"? Remember, they ARE rejects and aren't the "Super-Soldiers" hey were suposed to be. Genetics will've done some wierd stuff to them O_o!

Hmm... baka i would definately like to join if i knew what the game is like. Could you please give some sort of examlpe of play, or prelude (besides the one you wrote). What is the world like? What are the orginizations? Why wouldn't we want to fight? Who is fighting? What would be our insentive? How do we know any better if we are bred as super soldiers from birth? Can you consider any alternative besides super soldier?

If you could answer these questions it would be a real help.

Accessing information regarding Project Tom []

Project Tom was a project that would have ended all wars in the world.

Basic principle?s came from original cloning and modifying work first carried out in late 20th Century. First breakthrough log was the Genetically Modified Crops in the 1990s.

Next breakthrough was the clone of a sheep, named ?Dolly?. Then early in the 21st Century a first human child was cloned. There were many fears that it would not survive but after extensive research and multiple experiments the clone survived and lived for many years.

In 2020 the Government commissioned the research into human modification. The ability to create people who were able to defy the basic and fundamental elements of life. This project was named Project XM and was successful in its objectives.

Ten years later, Project Tom was commissioned. Primary objective to create a race of Perfect Soldiers, who would take all commands given to them without question, have no sub conscious and be able to withstand more than the average human.

General appearance was to conform to the laid out plans of the Government. All were to be roughtly the same age, roughly the required height and pass all physical tests required. Under no circumstances were they to have any distingwisable features. Hense all hair and marking were removed

Seven candidates were chosen and had their genes and basic instincts modified to match these criteria?s. For the first few years everything had seemed to be fine, all of the new soldiers responded in the ways that they were meant to. But then certain defects were detected within them.

To many human characteristics filtered through and Project Tom was dismissed in favour of Project Tim. Results of Project Tom to be destroyed. Under no circumstances shall they live.

Sidney smiled, those rejects were going to be competely destroyed within the next few hours and he was going to savour in their glorious deaths.

Okay, Drix, this will be played as most normal RPs are on Otaku. It's just that me and Baka are having two chars, (with me playing the evil little sod woohoo).

Right, my chars:
Name: Admiral Daemon Sidney

Age: 30

Rank: Commander of Preformatedos

History: Basically spent all of his working life on Projects Tom and Tim and is more than willing to destroy the results or rejects of Tom

Personality: Stubborn, annoying, evil and generally unfriendly to everyone. (Even his commanders)

Description: Large and tall, standard green uniform, short black hair hidden under black hat of rank. Manic grey eyes and the starts of a beard but is having trouble growing one.

And my reject soilder:
Name: Sue (or Mini sue as Baka calls her)
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Position: Reject Solider
Personality traits: Sarcy little cow at times, quite stubborn and can have a habbit of staying the wrong thing at the wrong time
Physical Appearance: roughtly normal height, quite dark brown skin. Wears green sleeveless top and black trousers.

Okay, In addition to these chars we're also looking for one resistance member, who is roughtly two years older or younger than him.

Name: Raet "Fleshwound" Reisuke
Age: 15 or 17 (haven't decided yet)
Gender: Male
Posistion: Reject Soldier
Personality Traits: A quiet, calculating young man. He sees everything and most people as a soldier would, even at times of "peace". Has the tendency to carrry a weapon of some type or another at alll times, his preference being a large calibre revolver named "From Raet with Love" which was jokingly inscribed by some other people.The most important thing, however, is his ability to carry on despite near mortal wounds, his willpower and fortitude is incredible. People often see him as cold...and he is. Apart from that he has a large inferiority complex and hears voices mocking him ocassionally.
Physical appearance: He always wears a long sleeved grey shirt, baggy so not to restrict his movement, even when in bed. His body underneath the shirt is a battlefield of scars, old burns and metal plates inserted into his flesh where the right side of his chest has collasped. These are from the special training he recieved, where live ammo was used (if it's alright). He also wears a pair of black trousers and a long white trenchcoat, with three large brass buckles. The little hair he has is prematurely grey.

Inside of him he isn't really as shallow or bad *** as he makes himself out to be. He is very deep actually. He [i]feels[/i] hurt, sorrow, pain, he just doesn't show it. He [i]can't[/i] show it,in his mind mind that would make him weak. Just another soilder, he hoped to be the perfect soilder. But since they threw him out, his goal seems lost to him. So he fights, on the other side.

[b]Physical Appearance:[/b] Promteheus would have blonde hair, if it were not for the fact that every soilder is required to be bald. His eyes are blonde and doesn't have much build in his arms at all. His legs however are nice and strong. His height is under average, along with his weight.
