RPG Final Fantasy 7: Resurrection

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]When Sephiroth set her down, the world seemed to spin out of control, and his arms steadied her. She looked up at him again, pale face turning even lighter. Silver glowed and pulsed against sharp grreen. He touched her lips with one slim finger....and smiled.[/i]

Sephiroth: You're perfect.

[i]He took his hands away from her face, and put them on her shoulders..... The touch was gentle, but still cold. Her senses dulled themselves, to the point where she couldn't tell what was real.[/i]

Lethe: ....no I'm not perfect. I should want to kill you. But I don't want to anymore.

Sephiroth: I'm sure you'll get along well with me.....

Lethe: Why do you want me here with you?

[i]He gave her a knowing look and touched her hair, running his fingers through.....smelling the sweet scent she gave off. He pulled away the fabric of her robes, and examined her scarred chest. Moving his head down, he kissed the wounds he had inflicted, and Lethe's expression became one of pain.[/i][/COLOR]

[The Harlequin]

[font=gothic][color=crimson][I]Vincent strode through the forest, unconcerned. Chances are, Blaze could take care of himself. As could all the other people involved in this little escapade. The problem was though....would Vincent be required to...take care...of them. Sometimes he really felt a good shotgun shell to the kneecaps would do some of these people a lot of good. Perhaps the jaw...to stop them screaming as well...

Vincent pulled out the gun, examing the shining black barrel. He absently sighted down its length, checking the calibration. Not that he needed the sights, but it never hurt.

Some small forest denizen hopped along in front of him, chittering at Vincent and raising sharp looking claws. He moved his gun slightly, and took its head off. It dissapated in an explosion of blood.

The blood in his eyes reacted. The world diluted, focused on the red haze. Time seemed to slow, and his only thought was the blood. It didn't matter who's. He been known to stare at a wound on his body for hours before treating it.

The creature shook once, pitifully, and collapsed. Vincent snapped back, gasping. What was he becoming....

And when the hell would Blaze allow himself to be found. All this spare time was making him brood. Depression was one thing, he had no problem with that, but brooding pissed him off. Mainly because Chaos always had a view to offer.

The demon was strangely silent now. The rivers within him had their undercurrent eddies, but the flood was not there. They didn't rush through him rapaciously. He was cautious of that inimical stillness.

Vincent suddenly stopped. In front of him was Chaos. Without thinking, Vincent leveled his shotgun and fired. With his supernatural speed, the demon dodged, and the bullet took him in the shoulder. Vincent lowered his gun. This was real. Chaos was in front of him...[/I]

Chaos: Ah, my former paramour. How nice of you to repay me for saving your life so many times.

Vincent: How did this happen fiend?

Chaos: You forced me out. Where else did I have to go? You so thankfully offered me a host a while ago. Oh, I had to twist it somewhat, but it has served to contain my form, as well as my soul. Something you could never do.

Vincent: Then I'll kill you now.

[I]Vincent fired again, and ducked away as the Chaos Saber swept towards him. He rolled forward and came up, stabbing Chaos with his claw, before unleashing a bullet point blank into Chaos's head. The body disintergrated in front of him.

In its place, stood a shifting spirit. Still Chaos.[/I]

Chaos: Oh, I think not. You can't kill me. Nothing can. I however, will eventually kill you. Now if you'll excuse me...

[I]Chaos dissapated to find another host. Vincent searched within himself, making sure the demon was well and truly gone.

He found no trace of Chaos. But another, more insidious being was now within him, and he greeted Vincent with mild amusement, and a promise of pain unknown to mortals. In even terms, it promised his death, and explained exactly how that would come about. It showed him visions of itself, transformed, in control, rampaging, performing wanton slaughter, until Vincent saw his altered body drowned in the blood of innocents. As it faded in quiesance, its name came to Vincent. The only name appropriate. Oblivion. And behind that presence, more silent, and infinitely more ominous, was another, greater, more powerful, more cunning, content to reveal its existance, but not anything about it. Except its name. A name that chilled Vincent more than the visions he had seen, more than Chaos's reality. Quietus.

Vincent gathered his cloak tighter around himself, and started to return to the ship. No one could no about this. No one.[/I]

OOC: When I saw he's not going to tell anyone, I also mean no one just "happens" to find out, in any way shape or form, until I say so. My storyline, leave it alone.[/font][/color]

[color=green][i]Kief and Boy arrived in the town of Wutai three hours after they set off. Kief was astounded, he was making amazing progress. If this continued, he'd be over the ocean in no time, on his way across the East continent. Wutai was a huge tourist resort, and it had loads of history. Kief would stay a while, and enjoy the beautiful place. He'd relax for a while, have a drink and mingle with the locals. He didn't know what Boy would get up to, but frankly, Kief didn't care about the kid too much, he was a handy companion, somebody to fill the lonely voids.[/color][/i]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Cloud wandered around looking for Blaze. "Fine time to fall out of the damn ship Blaze." Cloud just continued to wander, just then he heard a noise, he whizzed around with his sword drawn as soon as he was facing the direction of the noise. It was Aeris and Siren.[/i]

Aeris: She insisted on coming out to help.

Siren: I need to help.

Cloud: Okay, although i'm going to say this right here, if you get too tired or whatever, i'm taking you back to the ship. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Siren: Yes mother.

Cloud: I'm serious, I don't want you to pass out or anything, thats why you and Aeris are staying with me.

[i]The three walked around looking for Blaze, who was sound asleep in a clearing, which Cloud, Aeris, and Siren were nearing.[/i][/COLOR]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]He pushed her down onto the bed she had woken up on and began to move lower. Her senses sharpened enough to remind her to push him away. Sephiroth chuckled and pulled her up into a sitting position. She looked at him through half shut eyes.[/i]

Lethe: I suppose you thought that was actually funny.

Sephiroth: Your reaction.....why are you so afraid?

Lethe: I'm not going to be your slut.

[i]He backhanded her. Bright lights exploded in her vision and she touched her flaming red cheek carefully. She clenched her teeth.....that had hurt far more than anything else. Sephiroth dragged her up to his level and forced his mouth down on hers. She struggled, but he held her fast. When she moved to knee him, he blocked her and only clenched her arms tighter.

Hot tears formed in her eyes, and she instantly thought back to her mother's dreams. The image of her own body chained down flashed through her head, and she nearly screamed. Then his charm took over again, and she felt herself falling into his seductive embrace. Warmth, and cold, mixing together. Fire on ice, and pleasure mixed with pain. Filling her senses.[/i][/COLOR]

[font=gothic][color=crimson]OOC: *Absently thinks about how screwed up and twisted a person Vincent would get into a relationship these days to....Perhaps Chaos* Not right.... Although, I could write some very interesting scenes for it... Some more of Mythic Life perhaps...

The main point to this post though is; Why the hell does that pic have flaming ketchup written on it?[/font][/color]

[color=teal][i]Blaze's body stirred. Standing up, the man walked from the forest, a look of sheer, unfettered rage rushing through his mind like blood through a dirty syringe. But it wasn't Blaze. Trapped within his own mind, Blaze wracked against the chains of his coma, while his raging, unspirited body walked maddeningly towards New Midgar with revenge as its one purpose. Through the Mythril Mines, it came to the Kalm Swamp, where the dreaded Midgar Zolom lived. The body grasped the huge serpent around its neck, hurling it into a sharp tree trunk, as Sephiroth had done. Now, all that stood between Blaze and Sephiroth was a hunk of metal called Midgar. Still, against the forces of himself, Blaze wracked. He was lost, split into four "selves" within his own body.....[/i][/color]

[COLOR=royalblue]That would be the artist who drew it dear...don't ask me why she chose that name for herself...she just did.

[font=gothic][color=crimson]OOC: Good, I can work this into my other storyline too. And this will be the last OOC post for a while, my apologies for the number so far. Unless someone does something stupid. Then I won't be happy. And will comment. And don't call me dear Raiha.

IC: [I]Sephiroth dropped the battered, unconscious girl. She had lasted longer than he had expected. But still not as long as he had hoped. She would do though, for now. And she was a useful tool. As was his latest...acquisition.

The demon in question, still in incorpreal form, floated hazily above them. He had been watching with interest the entire time. Sephiroth regarded him with inhuman patience.[/I]

Chaos: Interesting. I could give you a few tips if you'd like though.

[I]Sephiroth gestured eloquently towards the rag doll body.[/I]

Sephiroth: She couldn't take it.

[I]The form moved closer and slowly moved its head towards Sephiroth. The ghostly kiss chilled even him. Not for the sensation itself, but for the motive behind it. Chaos desired his powerful form to reside in. Oh, the demon was certainly not joking when it suggested such couplings, but that was his primary goal. Sephiroth wasn't sure which was more unsettling. Still, he had freed Chaos, and the demon owed him. And a deal with a demon was still a deal...

Blinded by desires of mutliple kinds, Chaos was easy to manipulate. He was often however, not easy to resist. He mentally pushed the gauzy form away. This time, Chaos subsided, chuckling evilly.[/I]

Chaos: You know you need another being that can match your perversions.

Sephiroth: And it will never be you. Did you speak to him?

Chaos: Of course. The fool. Even tried to kill me. After all I've done for him...

[I]Sephiroth was somewhat hazy on the relationship between Vincent and Chaos. He knew the man hated the demon formerly within him, but the demon often brooded over him, and then railed at him. He thought Vincent should be thankful for the "help" he had offered. Very much a love/hate dilemma, it took up a large part of Chaos's time. For now. [/I]

Chaos: Why that look? Of course I didn't mention your name. He'll probably work it out anyway. He wasn't that stupid.

[I]The demon looked down with interest as Lethe half groaned, half whimpered. Sephiroth looked up, but before he could speak, the demon disappeared on etheric winds, leaving behind an ethereal chuckle. Sephiroth hoped that the echoes would have faded away by the time the girl fully woke up.[/font][/color][/I]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Blaze leapt through Gate One of the New Midgar sublines, trashing every single ticket booth he saw. Within his own mind, Blaze was constantly battling three other selves that wanted control, that wanted to show their power. The real Blaze, tortured and writhing in agony, fought to get to his real self before his body dd something......destructive. As his body approached the Shinra building, climbing yet another wire in sector six, near a familiar, rundown mansion, it raged out of control. Randomly using fire, ice, and lightning spells from God-knows-where, his body left an easily followed path to Sephiroth. Still Blaze battled for control, yet something was hoding him back. Something about his mother....

He transformed. His body shifted, contorted, and twisted unto itself. Blaze regained control, only to lose it again to his instinctive nature in his manwolf form. He broke through the stainless steel doors with his bare claws, his Muramasa hanging limply at his side. He began to climb the stairs, while members of the new Shinra army, WARRIOR, fired at him, shot at him, and even tried to jump on him. All were thrown down the stairs.....without their throats. Blaze was raging. He wanted the blood of Sephiroth....[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Lethe's eyes snapped open. She wasn't half as weak as she had led them to believe....even if the charm was still heavy on her eyes. The last thing she heard were fading echoes.....and she hissed. Her back arched and she clawed her hands, before rising to her feet and glaring at him. Her face ached, and her body was sore...but the scent of demon was impossible to miss.[/i]

Sephiroth: ....you should still be asleep.

Lethe: I am forgetfulness, and in that, I forget things that are important to others.

Sephiroth: So it was an act.

Lethe: And you didn't see through it.

[i]Her eyes flickered around and she smiled at him. He touched the place where he had slapped her, and she threw his arm off angrily. Then she moved to the left side of him, and held her palm up.

"Netheline,
Eriokanta,
Break. Free."

Glass shards exploded outwards from her hands, blinding Sephiroth for a momemnt, then spreading around her.[/i][/COLOR]

[font=gothic][color=crimson][I]Sephiroth turned his head slightly away from the silver shrapnel assulted him, but otherwise ignored it. He could not be harmed by such a paltry attack.

The purpose was served though. He made no move to catch her as she darted away, though it would have been simple to do so.

Sephiroth allowed bothe the girl and the demon their triumph. How soon it would all turn to...well, oblivion.

The thought amused him somewhat. Let her namesake take her. She was of no use to him. Oh, he could certainly break her will, but without it, she would not have the mettle he required of his tools. So she could run. Very rarely did the spider cut his silken threads.[/font][/color][/I]

[Raiha]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]As soon as Lethe was out of immediate danger, she found the nearest corner and curled up in it. Her eyes quickly snapped themselves shut and sleep descended on her shoulders. Within a dream, she screamed out to Hecate, and her prayer was answered by the spiders that had haunted her for so long. One crawled across her fingertips and sank it's fangs into her wrist.

She woke up, in the same room she had run from. Sephiroth was nowhere in sight, but who cared? He would be back.....and she could feel him touching her mind. From wherever he was.....he was watching. And probably laughing. Lethe sat up and felt her wrists. Both had been peirced by two fangs, and the pain wasn't something she couldn't work through.....but already, blue blood was spiraling down from the points made....

She gripped them and smiled.[/i][/COLOR]

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Blaze rushed in, his claws slashing the walls. He grinned, his fangs opening cuts into his jaw, letting blood run free down his chest. He now embraced this side of him, savoring the sheer power within him. Sephiroth was nowhere to be seen, but a familiar young woman was sitting on the floor, gripping her wrists and smiling. Blaze ingnored Lethe, clenching his fist and rushing through a lab, finding the remains of more uncovered Cetra. He howled, seeing the ghastly remains of Jenova, who merely hours before had been whole again. With this sight of Blaze's mother, the fenris within slowed, transforming Blaze back into his own body. The coma was over, but Blaze had another battle to win. Sephiroth stood in front of a capsule, laughing maniacally as he stared his half-brother down.[/i]

[b]Sephiroth:[/b]So, brother! We are all that is left of the Cetra. Yet you wish to kill me.

[b]Blaze:[/b]I wish to give you the Hell you brought upon me!

[i]Sephiroth sighed, drawing his Masamune, blade of sheer evil, as Blaze drew his Muramasa, blade of ultimate good. They charged.[/i][/color]

[Raiha]

[cOLOR=royalblue][i]She sighed and rose to her feet. This was stupid. Two brothers fighting to the death. If her sister were here, she would be laughing with Hecate.

Lethe stood and removed her robes. Then she flicked her wrist and her staff quickly appeared again. Sephiroth wasn't really fighting, only defending....not willing to end the power that could also be his. With a quiet word, she pointed one had at Blaze's turned back and the world around them expoloded into glass shards. The attacking male was thrown backwards and landed at Lethe's feet. She brought the staff up over her head, then down....point touching his neck. Sephiroth had apparently infused her.....with part of him.[/i]

Lethe: Leave.[/COLOr]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Cloud, Aries, and Siren arrived where Blaze had fallen out of the Highwind, it was a small clearing, but Blaze wasn't there, instead there was the imprint of his body there.[/i]

Cloud: DAMMIT!!! He's not here! I bet I know where he is, come on we're heading bac for the ship.

[i]The three sprinted through the forest underbrush and into the Highwind, thanfully everyone was there.[/i]

Cloud: We couldn't find him, all we found were some tracks heading for New Midgar, he's probably there by now raising hell.

Cid: Okay then, i'm gonna get this baby to go full throttle to New Midgar. So hang on!!

[i]The Highwind lifted off rather easily and then turned so it was facing towards New Midgar, and then Cid hit the throttle to max and the ship went flying at full speed and within about 10 minutes the ship arrived, they were hovering right above where the new main part of the city was, the Highwind descended rather quickly and landed with ease, everyone ran out of the ship but they weren't greeted by a swarm of soldiers, instead they were greeted by a huge trail of blood, the group followed it into the building and soon they heard what sounded like the ceiling crumbling, everyone ran up the stairs. While Cloud was running up the stairs he just kept thinking, "Don't be dead, don't be dead." The group was greatly surprised as they entered the room, Lethe had her staff's edge pointed right at Blaze's neck. Cloud gritted his teeth as Sephiroth just looked at them and grinned.[/i]

Sephiroth: Do you fools honestly think you can save your friend???

[i]Cloud couldn't bear to watch this, he looked had to find a way to save Blaze, and fast, he knew Lethe would kill him if they walked in any further. Cloud nodded at Sephiroth then stuck his arms out straight and pointed them at Lethe, a green energy started to emit from them.[/i]

Cloud: ULTIMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[i]The engergy exploded and Cloud fell down from the use of the magic, it was too powerful for him to use and it drained all of his energy, but since he had fired it there was still the light hanging about.[/i]

[COLOr=royalblue][i]Lethe stabbed lightly, peircing Blaze's neck, before rapping his temple, sending him out into the realm of sleep. Sephiroth leapt in front of Lethe, snatched her out of the way and disapeared.

The Ultima attack hit nothing mortal....and Blaze was only knocked further out of the land of the living. Cloud looked up, sweat pouring from his face.....nothing![/i]

Siren: Damn.

[i]Sephiroth smiled from far away, and set his charge down. She looked up at him quietly.....staff gone.[/i]

Lethe: ...I suppose I'm no use to you dead.

Sephiroth: Pretty much. I hope you're ready to stop fighting me.

Lethe: ....promise me you will spare Siren. And I will.[/cOLOR]

[Domon]

Oh, sorry about that Raiha, guess i didn't. i guess i didn't pay attention. I'll edit it.

[Talon]

[color=teal][i]Blaze fell from the window, his arms limp and numb. He awoke, glass shards in his back, burns from the failed Ultima along his shoulder blades, and the Muramasa somehow ended twisted in his left arm hours later. Birds twittered in the rafters above him, sunlight streamed in. Yet somehow, he wasn't in Midgar anymore. A red, wolven face loomed over him, smiling gently.[/i]

[b]Nanaki:[/b]Welcome to the land of the living, Blaze Feneris. It's lucky my "Warp" materia was in a reasonable mood again.

[b]Blaze:[/b]Uncle Nanaki? That you?

[b]Nanaki:[/b]Yes, it is me, Blaze. Why do you keep calling me "uncle" anyway?

[b]Blaze:[/b]Before I.....before I joined SOLDIER and got you kidnapped, you took care of me.

[b]Nanaki:[/b]Ah, well, that doesn't make me your uncle.

[i]Blaze laughed and was soon free of the blade in his arm and most of the blood that matted his body. He looked to the stars and returned to his old training pattern in the Gi Caverns.[/i]

[b]Nanaki:[/b]So you feel weak again, do you?

[b]Blaze:[/b]More than weak, helpless. I could have killed him, Uncle Nanaki, but I failed. A girl named Lethe got me from behind while I was fighting him.....

[b]Nanaki:[/b]Lethe......I'll have to talk to her soon. She shouldn't have attacked you. We must away from here, and soon.

[b]Blaze:[/b]No. We must wait, we must grow stronger. What good a husband am I if I cannot protect Sir-...I mean, if I can't protect my wife.

[b]Nanaki:[/b]You love Siren, do you not? Then why hide it?

[b]Blaze:[/b]Because I will never be good enough for her. She doesn't like me. How could she? I'm...I'm Jenova's real son. how could she marry, like, or even pay attention to me? I'm the cause of all of this! ALL OF IT!

[i]Nanaki left Blaze to destroy the spectres and ghosts that attacked him, though most were not the spectres of the Gi.....they were ghosts within himself....within his heart...[/i]
[/color]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]After Cloud realized the Ultima attack failed he tried to stand up but his limbs just gave out from under him, he just couldn't do it. Areis ran over to him and managed to help him to his feet, Barret also helped, they managed to steady Cloud. After they left the building they got back to the Highwind, the ship lifted off and took off for the mountain range. Inside the Highwind Cloud was slumped in a chair, catching his breath. He tried to stand up again but he couldn't, he managed to brace himself up with the back of a chair. He couldn't believe this.[/i]

Cloud: Any ideas where Blaze is? I know he wouldn't have vaporized in the attack, the magic wasn't as strong as it used to be.

Cid: I have no idea. Let's go to Cosmo Canyon and talk to Red XIII.

Cloud: Sounds like a plan. Right now, i'm gonna head to my quarters and get some sleep.

Areis: I'll help you, you look like you'd faint as soon as you got out the door.

Cloud: Thanks.

[i]The two walked out the bridge door and to Cloud's quarters, as Cloud entered his room and slumped down on the bed. Aries stood there for a moment and said she'd be back to check on him in awhile and bring back some food for him. Cloud put an arm over his forehead and just lay there in his bed, wondering what was going on.[/i][/COLOR]

[color=teal]OOC:Oh, THAT'S clever. In the previous post, I mysteriously disappear. My character wakes up with Red XIII over him, and in yourpost, you decide to pay him a visit while Sephiroth is STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. Domon, just trust what i'm doing. I don't WANT to be found![/color]

OOC: Uh in Raiha's post Sephiroth isn't even in the same room, he took Lethe and bailed. Sorry, i guess i'll do something else. yeesh! As i said before i'm interpreting from Raiha that her char and Sephiroth bailed as soon as Cloud fired the Ultima Magic. Soo if Raiha says differently then i'll edit.
