RPG Legend of Zelda: A Hero's Return

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Miaku stood outside the ruined temple. A light breeze wafted around him throwing his blond hair about, his blue eyes sparkled with glee. He had finally found it, the Temple Of Time.[/i]

Zudo: Miaku! Miaku!

[i]Miaku's best friend Zudo came sprinting up to him with a grin on his face.[/i]

Miaku: What is it? Is it safe to go in yet?

Zudo: Yest, its safe to go in now.

[i]Miaku's eyes lighted up like a child's who had just been handed a bag full of candy. Zudo turned and sprinted into the ruined temple, Miaku followed him at a regular walk. As Miaku entered the enormous doorway his bootsteps echoed throughout the main hall, Zudo was standing in front of a large stone pedastal, engraved on it was the text of Ancient Hyrule.[/i]

Zudo: Its some of the ancient language, I can't translate it at all.

[i]Miaku studied it for a few minutes and then it clicked, he opened up a bag he had slung on his side and pulled out a very old ocarina, it was once a ressilliant blue, but the paint had faded.[/i]

Zudo: What is it?

Miaku: A family heirloom, its called The Ocarina Of Time.

[i]Miaku placed the ocarina to his lips and played a song that he had always grown up hearing, as soon as he finished there was a flash of light and then everything went back to normal. Miaku uncovere his eyes, as he was doing so he saw on his right hand a three peice triangle, the lower right hand triangle though was brighter than the others.[/i]

Miaku: Zudo! Look at this. Its.. Its the Triforce! I knew this existed. Look this one, the one that is brighter. Its the triforce of courage. What the?

[i]Just as Miaku was about to continue the wall that was behind the pedastal slid open and revealed another room.[/i]

Miaku: Oh, this just gets better and better. I'm guessing that is where the Master Sword lays.

Zudo: You mean the sword that your ancestor wielded?

Miaku: Precisley. Lets go.

[i]The two cautiously walked down the black hall and into a room, and there before them was the Master Sword. Miaku walked up to it closer and saw that the sword. Even though it was over 3 millenia old it was still shiny and sharp.[/i]

Miaku: I've gotta pull it.

Zudo: Okay but let me come over there in case you need help.

Miaku: Okay.

[i]Miaku pulled the swor with ease and just as he pulled it Zudo had walked up to him. Within seconds a bright blue light engulfed them and when it cleared the two were no longer standing there. Miaku awoke to a sweet smelling breeze. Miaku sat up and opened his eyes and saw that he was in a massive field, he looked over to his left and saw the sword still laying next to him and on his right was Zudo. Miaku looked again and saw that the city was gone.[/i]

Miaku: Zudo! Zudo! Come on wake up.

Zudo: Ugghhh. Huh? Where are we?

Miaku: I think we are in Ancient Hyrule. And we've got company.

[i]Miaku stood up just as a familiar looking man rode up on a mare with a white mane.[/i]

Miaku: No! But.. This isn't possible.

[i]The man sitting on the horse was Link, and he didn't have a particuraly happy look on his face.[/i]

Link: Who are you and what are you doing with the Master Sword?

Nado, looked into the sky from his forest home. He was shunned from Hyrule, because of his looks and his so called lies. He knew he was good, but his dark aura give people a bad perpection. He didn't care. He always went into the town, especially to get some real food.


BOOM!!

Nado: ?!

He heard a loud crash in the village

Nado: Time to ride in:smirk:

[Drix D'Zanth]

[I]Link looked down at the suprisingly uninvited guests standing in hyrule feild. His biggoron sword gleamed on his back as he rode up to them.[/I]

Link: Well..? Who are you?

[I]Shaking his head, slightly dazed, Miaku looked up at the strikingly familiar face. Link?s eyes widened as well. The resemblence was? slightly scary. [/I]

Miaku: It.. it?s .. you!

Link: Wha?! What about me?

Miaku: You are Link!

Link: Of course I am! Now who are you? How did you manage to get the Master Sword?

Miaku: Link, before I tell you, you might want to sit down.

[I]The Hylian swiftly dismounted, stroking Epona. Sitting down on the soft grass next to Miaku, Link?s blue eyes stared into Miaku?s inquisitively.[/I]

Miaku: This is going to be a long story?

[I]Zudo, who had been standing slightly to the right, surveying his surroundings and the beautiful Hyrulian countryside.[/I]

Zudo (to himself): Well, this is going to be interesting?

[I]As the story completely unfolded before Link, Zudo was staring at the Temple of Time from Hyrule field. He could imagine himself wielding the Master Sowrd. In all the glory of it, he lost what time it was. He couln't use his watch or anything he had.[/I]
[I]As Link finshed unraveling his story, Zudo stared at Link's Biggoron Sword. Just then, Miaku had finsihed his story.[/I]

Zudo: Finally! I thought [I]your[/I] little story would never end!

Link: I liked it!

Zudo: Oh well, what are we to do know?

Miaku: I thought we would all go see Zelda. What about? Can we Link?

Link: I gue ...

[I]Before he could say anymore, Miaku and Zudo were off to Hyrule Castle ...[/I][/SIZE][/COLOR]

ooc: not trying to be cynical, rude, or otherwise a nuisance posting without any IC action.... the reason i was asking for a story is because i was hoping Miaku would explain something (i'm still kinda lost about what domon is planning for this). Lan, its just your post kinda ruins the whole point :| OH well

[COLOR=darkblue]OOC: No one needs to delete anything. Drix you need to edit your post, we are not in the Temple of Time, we are in Hyrule feild why else would i include the horse???? Lan, just edit it and make it Hyrule field. Drix please, i'm asking really nicely instead of blowing up, could you please read my posts instead of skiming and moving us every which way. I know it sounds more convienint for us to be in the temple but honestly, a horse in a scared temple?? Anyways i just want you two to eidt your posts. Thanks ~_^ Now on with the story!

[i]Miaku started walking with the Master Sword in one hand, he was surprised at how well he handled the sword, he shot another glance back at Link. "He is my ancestor, i know it. It has to be him!" As the three approached the gate the guard stepped in front of Miaku and Zudo and yelled at them in Ancient Hylian.[/i]

Soldier: HALT! State your buisness here.

Zudo: Wha?? What did he just say?

Miaku: He just told us to stop. Here, this should work for you, its a translator i made before we went in the temple.

Zudo: Oh.. Okay. Thanks.

Link: They are with me. We're on our way to the castle.

Soldier: Okay Link, I'll allow it. But first get these two men some different clothes.

Link: [i]smirking[/i] I will.

[i]The three headed off twards the tailor, after he performed the necessary measurments on Miaku he started to work on a Tunic for him. After about 30 minutes the tunic was completed, it looked exactly like Link's. Miaku went into a changing room and slipped into the tunic and put on the extra pair of Koroki boots Link gave him as well with the extra gloves. When Miaku walked out of the changing room he saw the tailor making the tunic for Zudo, Link turned to face him and his eyes widened even more.[/i]

Link: Jeez, you look a lot like me. I know you are my descendant but yeesh, i never thought a descandent from three thousand years later would look just like me.

Miaku: Well the strange thing is that i'm the only Hylian in my time who has pointed ears. As you can see, Zudo doesn't. Well the only other person in my time that has pointed ears is the entire royal family which descended from princes Zelda.

Link: Oh. Thats strange...

Miaku: What's even stranger is that the Ocarina i had is now back to being blue. Its paint in my time had faded so badly and now it is bright blue.

Link: You...still... have the Ocarina Of Time??? How could it stay intact for 3,000 years??

Miaku: I have no idea. Anyways i think after we are done at the castle we should go to the Temple of Time and see if the Master Sword is still there.

Link: Okay, I guess...

[i]Just as the two finished convesing Zudo walked out in a red tunic (picture Link's goron tunic). The three then agreed that they were done and they left for the castle.[/i][/COLOR]

OK, i edited. Sorry bout' the temple thing. Ya, It would be strange for link to ride epona into the temple. However, doesn't the master sword take you to the temple directly if you remove it? Well, i suppose it doesn't matter too much 'cuz i fixed it :D

I posted us starting out in Hyrule Field so that Miaku and Zudo would realize that they weren't in Kansas anymore. (sorry for the bad pun.) I meant to say is that i posted it that way so that Miaku and Zudo would realize that they weren't in their own time.

As Nado walked into the village, he was barraged by screams of terror.

Man 1: Ahh! It's the deamon!

Nado: I admit I'm a deamon, but I'm not bad. Ahh forget expaining to you, did anyone hear or see an explosion of sort.

Man 2: Y-yes I saw it, in hyrule field.

Nado: Thank you sir, now I'm gonna walk away and everyone can stop screaming.

No one listened, they kept going.

Nado: Whatever, I'm going now

[Drix D'Zanth]

As the three companions finished putting on their newly purchased clothes, they moved up the main street of the city. Birds chirped overhead and children ran around, playing games. Music played from a tavern nearby, filling the street with warm sound.

Miaku: Well.. this sure is a nice place, very... quaint.

Link (with a puzzled look): Quaint?

Miaku didn't answer, he was too focused on the new magnificent building that was Hyrule castle. It was just as magnificent as the record books portrayed it. The three made their way up to the main gate.

Link: erm.. ok.. guards?

The guards appeared lifeless and their armor hid their expressions.
Suddenly a strange sound began to eek out of the guards helm.

Guard: ZZZZzzzzzZZZZZZ

Link (rolling his eyes): oh great. (he begins tapping the guards helmet)

Guard (Startled) : BAH! WHO'S THERE! (looking around frantically, then down at the three). Hey! It's you link!

Link: That's the second time I've heard that today.

Guard: Oh. I suppose you all want to get in then. Here ya go.

Gripping a nearby lever, the guard pulled hard, opening the large doors. Link walked in with confidence, as did Miaku. Zudo hunched over nervously.. looking around as if the whole castle could eat him up.

[Xra]

Nado finally reached the field, finding noone around.

Nado: Nothing, this is too weird.

His ammulet started glowing brightly.

Nado: ?! The master sword! It's been taken out.

The ammulet levitates and points towards The castle.

Nado: This is really confusing.

[Drix D'Zanth]

[COLOR=teal] [I] The three walked into the castle, warm light streamed from many-paned glass windows. Their footsteps echoed off of the marble floors and painted tapestreies. They followed a velvet carpet to a courtyard. Warm rays of sun beamed onto the three and off the flowers that studded the grass. Finally the party entered the throne room. Zelda sat on her throne, bored, twirling a golden thread of hair around her finger. She looked up, her eyes immediately brightening. [/I]

Zelda: Link!

Link (smiling): Zelda!

[I]Zelda stopped as she reached Link. She looked at him, then Miaku.[/I]

Zelda: Who's this?

Link: This is going to be a long story....

[/COLOR]

[Xra]

Nado: Ah great, I'm definately not allowed into the castle, but I sense the sword is in danger. ? Oh yeah, the back entrance, it's hardly garded and I can be out before everyone notices.

So he started around the back of the castle. He found the door and picked the lock (long nails). His ammulet slowly lead him through the castle. At last he had come to a door.

Nado: This was to easy.

A group of soldiers had found him.

Soldier 1: It's that deamon, he's come to take the princess.

Nado: ! I did not, you got it all wrong.

The noise aroused the people inside(the room).

[COLOR=#AA0000][SIZE=1][I]As Link and Miaku finshed up the story, they heard a loud bang from outside their door. They went to go check it out.[/I]

Zelda: What happened, what wrong?!

*the guards saluted her and stood up straight*
Guard 1: We caught this intruder trying to sneak into your room, your majesty. We took him down just as he tried to open the doors.

Link: "Is this true?" he asked the deamon.

[I]He nodded.He then saw the Master Sword in the hands of Miaku.[/I]

Nado: Him, he has taken the Master Sword from the sacred pedestal?! I'm the sworn protector of the Master Sword and will not let it be taken away be a mere child!

[I]The talking continued ...[/I][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[Xra]

Link: Wait a minute, how come I never saw you when I visited the pedistal?

Nado: You don't remember? You were the one who accused me of being evil, beat me down, and got me shunned.

Link: You are evil.

Nado: Does protector of the master sword get through to you. i may be a deamon, but I'm a good deamon. Take a look at my ammulet if you need proof.

Link take's a look at the ammulet. Shocked he talks to Nado.

Link: You know it's still there. This kid has the one from many years after now.

Nado: (to guards) Get your hands off me. (to link) How is this possible?

Miaku: Don't worry I'll tell you the story.

Zudo: Here we go again...

[Deedlit]

[color=009966][i]Zelda listened to the story. Even though it was the second time she heard it, it was still very confusing. It was near the end of the story when a man with brown hair, wearing a knight's uniform walked into the room. He stopped abruptly when he saw Link and three other people in the room. His hand went to the hilt of his sword as he ran over to stand beside Zelda and Link.[/i]

???: "Princess Zelda! Link! Are you all right? Who are these two? And what's this deamon doing here?"

Nado: "I'm not evil, for crying out loud!!"

Zelda: "We're alright, Grisunda. Link and some of his friends decided to drop by for a while."

Grisunda: "Alright, but who are they?"

Link: "This is Zudo, Nado, and Miaku--"

[i]Grisunda drew his sword.[/i]

Grisunda: "And what's [i]he[/i] doing with the Master Sword? How'd he take it from the Sacred Pedistal?! Did he steal it?"

Miaku: "Of course I didn't!"

Zelda: "It's alright, Grisunda. Please put your sword away."

[i]Grisunda reluctantly agreed, but he still kept it loose in its sheath.[/i]

Link: "We'll try to explain it as best as we can. You see, it's like this...."

Zudo: "How many times in one day do we have to repeat this?"[/color]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Miaku stood there, obviously the Master Sword was highly cherished among the ancient Hylian people, he held the blade up and looked at how the metal shined, even if it was 3,000 years old in his time, it still had retained this beautiful shine. Miaku then took the sword propped it against his side.[/i]

Miaku: Okay, here's the story. I'm an archeologist from the future. I'm the only Hylian with pointed ears, well, the members of the royal family still have pointed ears. I'm guessing that our families have the pointed ears because of these.

[i]Miaku held up his hand and the peice of the Triforce appeared. Link's face definetly showed his surprise.[/i]

Link: The Triforce, and you have the same peice as me. The Triforce of Courage.

Miaku: And i'm guessing that your descendants have the Triforce as well Princess.

Zelda: That's very interesting. So what does the future have? What kind of luxieries?

Miaku: Things like this [i]Miaku pulled out his CD player, he takes it over and places it on Zelda's lap and puts the ear phones on and presses the Play button. Soon, Zelda's ears are filled with a symphony's music.[/i]

Zelda: Impressive. I like this.

Miaku: Something to me has seemed amiss though. I mean i know from the ancient texts i uncovered when my excavation team uncovered this castle's ruins. I found texts written by you that said something about a man named Gannondorf, and that he was sealed away. But ever since I got here with Zudo something has seemed very off about this place. Could Gannondorf have found a way out? I mean if you two have the two base Triforce pieces then he has the top one right?

Link: That's right. Could it be possible Zelda?

Zelda: It could be. I have been getting strange visions of an evil brewing in the North, past Mt. Doom. I think we should go check this out?

Link: We?

Zelda: You, Miaku, Zudo, Grisunda, Nado, and me.

Grisunda: You're majesty! I can't allow you to leave! What would your father say?

Zelda: Psh! Like he really cares, he knows that i helped Link save time and plus. I'm also known as Sheik.

Grisunda: Oh fine. I give up, you're hopeless.

Link: When should we leave?

Miaku: How about now? Well after we get some horses prepped.

Zelda: Good idea, and while the horses are getting prepared i've got a banquet made up for us. Follow me.

A tall warrior who sat upon the back of a tall horse who wore a dark purple tunic like dress with a hood that she hung over her head as the horse walked slowly towards the castle.The horse soon haulted as she came to the door the girl climbed off and walked up to the door where two gaurds stood like the morons they where and held their swords to her neck.

Gaurd 1:HAULT! you do not have the permission by princess Zelda to enter!
???:Excuse you! how about a little respect you bafoon!
Gaurd 1:Uhh thats not what I meant you see.....
???:SILENCE! how dare you!
Gaurd 2:Excuse me lady......
???:HEY! I HAVE A NAME! IT'S GIMI! AND HOW DARE YOU!
Gimi:*SLAP!,SLAP!,SLAP!,SLAP! and finaly Gimi punches them and knock them out*

The two gaurds fall to the floor in pain as Gimi and Elise step on top of them and make their way through the doors.

Gimi:Hmmm.......now now........what do I do?
Elise:*looks to Gimi and turns away*
Gimi:What help you are!
Gimi:Hmmm......dis a big house! ooh! ECHO!
Gimi:HELLO! *echoes*

Miaku:Be on gaurd!
Zelda:...................
Nado:Hey its.........a.................a.................girl!
Gimi:Ohh! nice one what it only took you like 2 hours to figuer it out!?
Nado:Very funny..........................aha aha aha.........................
Zelda:Excuse me.............who are you?
Gimi:Who are oooooo?
Zelda:Is that a word?
Gimi:Is the word "Dis" a word?
Zelda:Are you mimicing me?

Link:HEY! lets go talk sa more in the room come join us......"Gimi"

Grisunda: Princess I'm not sure we can trust these people. They just showed up out of nowhere and one has the sacred master Sword

Zelda: Don't be so worried Grisunda. I know they sound suspicious but they haven't done anything wrong.

Grisunda: Fine but I'll keep an eye on them just in case

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Zelda stood up from her seat with a grin on her face.[/i]

Zelda: Okay, who's hungry?? I'm sure the chefs have gotten the food made by now, so off to the banquet room.

Miaku: Now there's something that has finally made since.

Zudo: I agree, i hope its a big feast cause i'm starving.

[i]The group walked into a huge banquet hall, and there before them was the largest feast Miaku had seen. Miaku took his seat and everyone else did as well.[/i]

Zelda: I hope you all enjoy the food.

Miaku: Its great. Tell me Princess, why would Gannondorf try anything now? I mean why didn't he try and break free when you and Link were children again, i'm just curious because it seems odd.

Zelda: Thats a good question, i think the reason is because that since he was sealed away he's been looking for a way out and can't find one, except now he has. The other sages won't believe me but i know that since he still has the Triforce of Power nothing will stop him from breaking free. That's probably why all of you showed up. But for now we should just eat and then get ready to leave. Okay?

Everyone: Okay.[/COLOR]

[Xra]

Nado: You know I'm still banished, you think maybe you could remove the shun, Zelda?

Zelda: Well you terrorized the citizens(sp). How could I let you off so easy?

Link: Because it was I who got him shunned. It looked like he was terrorizing people, but-

Nado: But I was asking someone to give me a piece of fruit and he got scared at my looks so-

Zelda: Link came to the rescue and got you banned from the town. Shun removed.

Nado: Thank you.

Zudo: Come on let's get to eating already!

[color=#AA0000][size=1] [i]Zudo was scoffing (eating really fast with really big food sizes :P) everything in sight. Apples, ham, beef, scones, etc. He was a food-eating machine![/i]

Zudo: [i]Munch ... chomp ... chew ... glug ... drink ... bite ...[/i]

[i]The others were just ... staring at him.[/i]

Miaku: Slow down bud, want a heart-attack?!

[i]Zudo stops "scoffing" and just stares at him.[/i]

Zudo: NO!!! My food!!!!!

[i]The feast was still going on ...[/i][/size][/color]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Miaku just looked at Zudo with a grin on his face, Zudo always ate like this when he was extremely hungry. Miaku just chuckled, he was still in sheer awe of this ancient time. He grabbed another piece of ham and proceeded to eat. After awhile a young servant stepped in quietly and whispered in Zelda's ear, she nodded and stood up.[/i]

Zelda: I've just been informed that the horses are ready, so if you don't mind, i think we should proceed to the stables.

Miaku: Sounds good to me.

[i]The group stood up from the table and stretched and headed for the stables, Epona was standing outside of the stable, she had been groomed rather well and had on a brand new saddle, she walked over to Link and nuzzled him, the others walked further into the stables, there was a pure white horse, Zelda mounted it and the rest mounted onto the others, Miaku looked at his horse, it was a caramel color with a jet black mane and tail, he saddled up and rode the horse out of the stable.[/i]

Zelda: Well, shall we go???

Miaku: Yes. Will we be stopping in Kakriko Village??

Zelda: I'm sorry but we won't, we'll be stopping in another town that is located on the other Side of Mt. Doom, its a little smaller but its in the direction we will be going.

[i]The group headed out through the town and off into the sunset, Miaku could barely contain his excitement, it was hard to miss it. He had the biggest grin on his face, Link rode up beside him and started to chat some more.[/i]

Link: So what is Kakriko village like in your time??

Miaku: Well, its no longer called Kakriko Village, its called Kakriko City, it has huge buildings and lots of people.

Link: Do any of the Gorons still exist,or the Zoras?

Miaku: Sadly both races died out about 1,000 years ago in my time. The gorons died out because a rather nasty cold weather hung around and at that time also, the volcano or Mt. Doom went dormant. The Zoras also died out because of that and also because their water supply became extremly polluted. But I heard that another archeologist found dna from both races and was attempting to resurrect them again.

Link: Amazing! This is so strange to hear about what will happen in the future.

Miaku: You know, I never pictured you the way you look now. I always pictured some big macho super man. But now i see that your an ordinary person also.

Link: Thanks..I guess...

Miaku: I meant no offense. Sorry if i did.

Link: Its okay.

[i]The group procceeded through Kakriko Village and onto a lower route on Mt. Doom. After riding for quite a while they stopped atop a cliff and down before them was a village, its lights shining brightly inviting them to come to them and stay.[/i][/COLOR]
