Those 50,000 breeded and replaced human kind. A peace over all the land lasted for 5,000 years...Then the Ack'Tanar came. They took control of the human race. Now only 25,000 humans are "free". The world is just starting to grow tree's and plants again, making almost all of the world barren desert with riviers, springs and the like sparse. The "free" humans have evolved. The animals that survived also evolved. Now, the "free" humans are bonded from 1-3 animals...but there is 2 exceptions to this. ONe, a young man named Draagul, has 5 animals bonded with him. There is also a female out there, with 5 animals bonded to her as well. Human kind is split into 5 different clans. They are : The Bears, each clan member having at least a bear bonded with him/her. The Birds, each clan member having at least a bird bonded with him/her. The Reptiles, each clan member having at least a reptile bonded with him or her. The Pack, each clan member having at least a pack hunter animal bonded with him or her. The Plains, each clan member having a plains animal bonded with him/her. ------------------------------------------------- Here is what I need for the signup... Name: Age: Clan: Animals bonded with: (3 maximum but I need 1 female to be an unusual case like Draagul, pm if you want to be that female) Weapon Of Choice (optional): Description (or picture whatever you prefer): Short Biography: ------------------------------------------------- When I say bonding I mean that the animal(s) are literally bonded with the human. Thought I should clear that up. Oh, and also, if someone who is expierenced with RP's on otaku and would like to volunteer to help, I'd greatly appreciate it. I will post my character as soon as the fiorst person signs up. Also, if you want to be the "special" female with 5 animals, PM me or drop me an email and tell me why I should choose you for the female (although i don't think many ppl r gonna sign up fer this). A deep greyish green and black coloring for the dimonds. His name is Saav. Weapon Of Choice (optional): A small hand dagger and poisonous darts. Description (or picture whatever you prefer): Silvia has strangly white hair with a greenish taint and grey/green eye's slitted snake like. Her accent has a slight hiss to it. Her ears are hook-pointed, one peirced twice with gold and silver earrings. Short Biography: Living amoung her clan members she isn't allowed out of sight much simply because she has a habbit of attracting trouble. Friendly on the outside and sly on the inside. She is somewhat self centered. Her strength does is not in her muscils but in her speed. Beside's all that she is usually light hearted and on the positive side or things. Has large muscles in his upper body, with good-sized leg muscles as well. Wears a long black cloak at all times. Keeps his long claws sharp and his eyes are vivid green. Short Biography: Tao was formerly a mighty and feared assassin, the best one could by, until he bonded. Now he is less able to hide, but far more leathal. One of his eyes has a large scar over it from a battle years ago. He has a large build, with a wolf head. Think the wolf-man from Darkstalkers. If you don't know what that looks like, I'll post a pic later. He wears pants of Buffalo hide and black war paint on his face. Short Biography: Ranhorn, known as "Horn" by his friends, is the cheif huntsman of the Pack Clan. He was born the nephew of the pack's cheif, and therefore had a very noble ubbringing. He was taught respect for all forms of life. At a very young age, he began to hunt wild game to help sustane his people. However, he has also been forced to hunt members of other clans, especially the Plains anamils, often ledding to conflict between the two clans. However, due to a mutual understanding of the world, the two clans have been able to resist the temptation of all out war. Short Biography: Born under the shadow of the ancient city of Orthobbae, Nepenthe the child quickly developed into Nepenthe the dark sorceress and warrior. Her mother abandoned her and she was raised by the monks of the Yatherine order. Thanks to their rigorous training, Nepenthe is skilled with both arts of hypnotism and deceit. Hence, she has this bizare fasination with arachnids of any kind. After a dangerous mix with a Vampyre Drider, the greater portion of her dark magic was sealed away. She managed to escape with three things, her life, her honor, and a massively wounded pride. Description:Think of Goliath from the Gargoyles series but with blonde hair, goldish skin that look human but has sum scalles, the wings have feather like a blad eagle, his shoulder are stronger because he flys, he has some fur like a grizzly bear, and he is extremely well built and muscular. Short Biography: Because he is one of the only two known humans bonded with 5 animals he is not in a clan. He has a bit of each clan in him. His mother and father are unknown but the Clan of the Bears raised him until he became old enoguh to tend for himself. --------------------------------------------------------------------- For all who have signed up, if someone has already signed up for a clan pick a new one, first come first serve, sorry, i forgot to mention that. That means that Outlaw has to change his/her (guessing his but i dont want to be wrong lol) clan and animal(s) he/she is bonded with. Sorry for the inconvienence. Description (or picture whatever you prefer): Six foot tall, shoulder length black hair. Very white skin. Very, very slender, but with a wiry strength. Wears long, concealing black clothing. Think goth. Very goth. Short Biography: Grew up with a merchant family, after being abandoned by his clan. They attempted to teach him the secrets of trade, but he found he didn't like it. As a tribesman, he was shunned by the more "civilised" races, and was told he would amount to nothing. To prove them wrong, he left, and studied the most taxing pursuit known. Barqu'ino. A style of martial arts that is not about defense, or even offense. It is about killing. It is about killing by reflex. Whether the enemy is single, mulitple, armed, unarmed, or with an arrow aimed at your head. Fast, hard, and unmercifully. Barqu'ino drill alters the way the mind acts. If someone ever made the mistake of grabbing him from behind, they'd have a broken arm before they knew their hand had contacted. Mykkael broke oath with his first master however, when a beggar child stumbled into the camp, and a high level aspirant brained him by reflex. Mykkael trained with a second master, who taught him more, and how to halt barqu'ino reflex if neccessary, even millimetres away from a full strike. Barqu'ine uses adrenalin to the nth degree, and backwash is somewhat...painful. Especially if he is around friendly people. He accidently killed a friend years ago. He had a long wound along the arm, and this friend came up behind him, and lightly touched his shoulder. Mykkael spun, and in an instant, the man's nose was somewhere behind him. Right through his brain... Mykkael worked as a mercenary for many years. In one conflict, he was severely wounded along his left leg, leaving him with a pronounced limp, that still aches in wet weather. Harlequin, if you were a clansmen you would be half raven, not just friends to a raven. When I say bonded, I mean a part of. Sorry for the confusion. Outlaw: Thank you for fixing your character. I appreciate it. And no you don't seem feminine, but I didnt want to call you a guy and find out you were a masculine female. lol. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I just need a couple more people to sign up for the leaders so we can start. Name: Rionareth (Rion) Age: 22 Clan: Bear Animals bonded with: Grizzley and Black bear Weapon Of Choice (optional): Ropek (I'll scan a picture for ya' later) Description (or picture whatever you prefer): Has the body shape of a man in his twenties, except with the strength of a Grizzley and the vocal chords of one, he can still talk but he sounds real deep as if there was distant thunder. His jaw sticks slightly out forming a small muzzle, containing strong jaws and sharp teeth. He is covered with fur, but at different lengths, around his stomach and back it is thin, but starting at his shoulders and just below his belly button it get really shaggy and thick, on his face it but a thin layer really short. He wears leather boots almost up to his knees, and his left hand is a real paw while the right is a human's hand, with no fur on it, but is brown colored. And he has one orange yellow eye then one sky- blue eye. Short Biography: He is the Chief's son, destined to be the next chief, but he doesn't want to accept this responsibility, he wants to be able to go places and do things and be alone without having to worry about a entire clan to worry about. So he spends as much time as he can away from his clan exploring as much as he can. But deep down inside he really is worried that he will be a bad chief, and will fail his people, maybe even destroy the clan. But he has never told his true thoughts to anyone, but with his Father growing older and sicker each day his worry grows even more than before. I hope that is O.K. Mztik, you need to change the 3 eyes things, the animals your bonded with do not have names, it is just the dna of that animal. 2. I for one am trying to ignor that and prefer it if it were used as a term in this rpg to explain the connection between human's and animals. If anyone's being immature about the word here it's you Draagul. *No offence ment* but if your trying to keep younger people from the meaning your not doing a very good job of it. A novel...? And no, I was going to make a novel based on this before I wanted to make it an RPG. I decided to make it an RPG first to see how it would go and if the members that signed up would have good characters that I could use with their permission. Soooo, in other words, yes, a cheap way of getting ideas. ^_^! Anyways, I will start this soon, I just have a lot going on at the moment but it will probably start tonight if I can, I just need some characters for the other clans.
