Re-Occuring Dreams...

[color=darkblue]Now I have a re ocurring dream (sort of), I've had it for as long as I can remember. It pops up occasionally, usually as part of what I'm dreaming about at the time.

I'm trying to call someone on the phone. I know the number but as soon as I dial it I screw it up. No matter how hard I try I cannot get it right. I get more and more frustrated and panicky but I NEVER get through. Thing is I never know who I'm trying to call in the first place! And I'm normally in a phone box, which is odd, as I hardly ever use them. >_<;

Anyway, I was wondering if any of you knew what this dream ment?, and If you've had any dreams like this?

I've got no clue what it means, but I've had a similar dream to...

Except I finally dial the number right. And then the phone is busy. So yeah its weird. I dial and dial and dial for what seems like hours and then I finally get it right and...the phones busy.

Most of my dreams are incredibly random. I only have two that seem to reoccur, although the actual settings are always different. All my other dreams are incredibly morbid, violent and disturbing (I'd say a good 80% of my dreams are like this). I've never had a dream that was like a nightmare where I'd wake up because of it in the middle of the night (well maybe once, I'll talk about that one later). So I get to sit through these horrible dreams I'd rather not see. They are good to base art off of though.

Anyway, the first one I have is this stupid dream where I can fly. I move my arms in some weird flapping motion and I fly around my neighborhood. It's quite fun. I've not had that in years.

The second one I used to get a lot in gradeschool. I'd be getting a ride to school (which was weird since it was just across the street heh), and for some reason when we got there I'd be on the floor of the car. I could never tell what happened really... but my clothes would be huge and I'd just be hiding in them. I'm not clear if I shrunk or what.

As for the possible nightmare... You ever notice that if you are doing something in a dream you might wake up doing it? Like maybe you hit something in your dream, and you'd wake up to yourself banging into the wall or something...

Anyway, I had this one dream where I was drowning in some dark place, which was bad in itself. The problem was that I woke up during it, and for some reason my body seemed to be registering that the dream was actually happening. My eyes were open, but I couldn't see anything. I kept trying to breathe, but I felt like I was winded. Nothing was coming in. This seriously scared the total **** out of me, because I didn't know what was going on. It only lasted about 10 seconds I'd say, but it was still not a good experience heh.

Telephones in dreams usually represent comunication, the fact that you can't get the number right might mean that you feel like you can't comunicate with people properly.
Keep in mind I can't really remember all the things I read about dreams so there's a chance that I'm wrong...

[color=navy]I never have had a reoccuring though it would be cool. I do have very weird dreams though. They start out normal but then just end up weird...mostly its weird fantasy stuff. One time I dreamed about the end of the world O.o[/color]

IM not sure if it was a dream or my imagination,b ut when i was litlte i used to think I could "fly" (more like hover) by jumping up in a certain way.. then I could kinda walk in the air until I got bored. That and my odd illusion that my pillow had gotten really big and mashmallowly (i never tried to eat it...) 'Twas odd.

whenever i have dreams they aalways are totallly different from each other.i have death dreams.life dreams.magic dreams.i've dremnt (spelling?) about most anything you can think of.none re-occouring.i wonder why?

I don't know if this is true, but anyways...
1) You are trying to reach something but never got it in hand.
2) If a dream is continuously pops up in once mind, it indicates something.

I also get the stupid little one where your friend is commiting suicide yet you can't help them.

Like ok. I had one last night. My friend _-_-_ was standing in front of me and she had a gun pointed to her head. I tried to move but I couldn't and when I tried to talk nothing came out. She just looked at me. It was creepy. Then she closed her eyes and pulled the trigger. Everything went into slow motion. I watched as her finger pulled the trigger. [i]leaves out certain more graphic details[/i] After she was dead I could move again.

It was weird, it was like something was holding me there....I've gotten that one every week for more than 2 months.

I often have this one dream.
I'm standing outside of a massive metal building. It seems to be iron or something because there are streaks of rust running down the sides. I walk around the building looking for a way in because there is soemthing inside I want/need. Finnaly I find one, but it's a huge door. It has to be about twenty feet high and thirty long. There is one handle. I pull it and make a small opening. Then there's a groan and I start getting resistance. I let go and it slams shut. I pull again and the same thing happens. Groan and slam. I open it far enough so that I wedge myself into the opening and push with my legs. I hear the groan and wake up.

[color=darkblue]i have a recurring dream (with only slight variations) that i've been having for about 6 or 7 years. it usually comes at least once a month, but often more.

i'm back in high school, at youth camp. this alone is traumatizing. i see all the jerks i used to go to school w/. usually they try to trick me in some way--for example, getting a really popular boy to ask me out. i always foil their plots, though, b/c i know it's a trick & don't trust them in the least. but it still hurts my feelings, so i start to run to get away. but the popular kids all chase after me.

when i look back, they have transformed into a variety of monsters (never the same on twice in any dream). a part of me sort of realizes that i can manipulate the situation, so i start to fly. it seems to take all my strength. but i can only get high enough to just barely get out of their reach. they try to grab my feet, & sometimes succeed, but never manage to yank me down. all i can do is hover there, even though i'm desperately trying to go higher, & it's terrifying.

pretty easy to interpret. it's basically a metaphor for my whole high school experience.

Well i have had a few dreas were i am doing something i know how to do, but i do it wrong, it is like a broken record, my brian tells me to try again and so i do, but it comes out wrong, then finally i do it and the the rest of the dream is usually blank o_O. I also had a dream so re-occuring sometimes i thought it was true! That happens quite alot with me. Another, one of my most famous re-occuring drems is that if i jump forward as if i am trying to lunge on someone, i fly through the air for ages, like about 100 meters, thats pretty cool ^_^.

I actually just had one of my many Re-Occuring dreams last night.

It was me just walking along the back road that I used to go up alot, all of a sudden the side of the road becomes really thin and steep. I try to go up further and further but I can never make it, and as well cars keep coming up that road and its scaring me... I don't know why, but it seemed that I thought they would hit me because they where going at incredible speeds.

Then I walk back down the road and at a small convience store where I am looking at a pile of dvds, that seemed to be completely worthless. But in that stack I find, This move called. "Dragon Ball Z, Battle of The Worlds" which was never made, and it had young goku on the front and the boxset of Buffy The Vampire Slayer season 1, I ask my mom if I can get them she says yes, then all of a sudden the store gets robbed one guy gets shot and the robbers leave. (the store changes when this happens too, but it was still the same store)

This is the freaky part, I am at some odd so called highschool and I run into 3 people that I never met before that said I was there friends, we sneek around and do stuff. Then we are in the top level of the highschool and a secretary comes uo and trys to fix something and falls down like it seems 50 feet to her death. We all go down there find out she is a zombie and there are alot more, that are hard to kill.

I could keep going on with this dream it is pretty long. but I will stop there, and this dream was pretty graphic. Oh and I'm going to get a dream interpratation book soon to.
