However, a girl I like enjoyed the balloon I sent her, so it wasn't so bad. I'll probably just give lots of cards tomorrow, and then I'll hang out at a friend's house for a project... If I get something tomorrow I would be amazed, but really I'm classing it as a normal day, except for the fact I will see a few more stranded lovers in the street at night lol ... GET a room! I would give my best friends the Wolverine ones and the girl that I liked would get the Jean Grey one. It said "My mind is on you". *sigh* I miss the good old days. Anyway I have patched things up with Ashley and I couldn't be happier. I bought her a carnation today, I'll probably follow up with a Teddy Bear of some sort. ^_^ But she still has her stupid boyfriend. No trouble though she complained about him all day. Tommy Vercetti Posted February 14, 2003 Share Posted February 14, 2003 Valentines Day doesn't really change my life to be honest i mean yeah its quite cool getting cards and gifts etc from someone who loves you but very annoying if it is an annonomous person who sent it to you. Some rhymes people make up are pretty strange too. Yesterday i was sitting in maths with Break and he randomly made up a rhyme. I think it goes something like this " Science Books are Red, Maths Books are blue and I really like you" lol i don't know why he said it but that is the strangest one i have heard so far. I never liked Valentines Day because I hate those Valentines candies that say 'Be Mine', 'I Love You' ect. They taste so nasty. >.< Of course I've got other reasons but thats just one of them. I've gotten things on V-Day though. Last year I got a stuffed rabit and a card saying my eyes were like the stars or something(which made no sence), of course it had to be from someone who likes me more than I'd like him too.. When I was in 5th grade I got a boyfriend on V-Day. When I was younger we'd give Valentines to others at school and make boxes to put them in but I never thought of it as a major holiday. Me and my friend headed down to Walgreens during the class break (my classes are each 4 hours long, we usually get a 15 to 20 minute break during them). There were about 20 girls wearing cupid costumes and passing out candy hearts (disgusting). They were made with some sugar substitute called Splenda. I felt like crap after eating one of the tiny bags lol. So that was my Valentine's day. Kick ***! Oh, and I drew a picture for a friend of mine... First I had to go to my math class which is out in a portable. When I got to it I saw a bunch of my fellow class mates waiting outside. I asked them why and they said that the door was locked and they didn't know where Mr.Thomas was. We waited for a while outside and I felt one of my ears get really really cold. We finally went inside and after a while for some reason I touched my ear and it felt overly large. It also felt like it was buring (which it still does) so I think I might have frostbite. The second thing that happened to me was that at lunch my locker wouldn't open. So I couldn't have my lunch and I didn't have my afternoon class binders. Though at the end of the day I learned that I had mixed up one of the numbers^^; The last thing that happened to me on this horrible day was that my civics teacher thought that I was passing notes to the person beside me even though it was the person behind me. He wouldn't believe it wasn't me until I actually told him it was the person behind me even though I didn't want to.
