Raiha
Her physical form melted into nothing, then exploded into what was originally intended. Her skin quickly whitened as her melanin level decreased, and her hair grew past her waist as her follicles were stimulated. The increase in her muscle mass filled her shirt as well as her breasts.... Her entire mindset began to change itself, memory ingrams twisting and rotating to serve the doctor's purposes. Several hours after, she snapped her eyes open. She knew exactly what had happened. It was everything she had feared since the begining. Altered. Voices from nearby echoed mockingly in her ears. ---: She's up already. ---: That was quick. Do you think we gave her enough sedative? There worries were quickly proved as she jerked herself off the bed, leather straps breaking like thread. Her hair flew out behind her as she tested her new body.....it suited her needs perfectly. The guards bursting through the door didn't even know what hit them. All they knew was the numbing pain of broken faces as she rushed past in a blur. She hit the hallway floor on all fours, then leapt up and raced through the halls. Always upwards.... Too late. The doctor was standing on the stairs, gun in hand. She stopped short, eyes flicking from side to side, looking for an exit of some sort. He walked down, two guards appearing silently behind her. Their arms gripped her own, and she grimaced. Not only was she going to either die or be raped....there was no getting out of it this time. He didn't even have to speak. The look in his eyes was enough to send her into the mind of a frightened two year old. Flat on her back once more. Strapped down and with two guns trained on her.....could things get worse? Shalistrae Lifé screamed as something scalding descended on her stomach. Two curving lines traced themselves up, burning deep into her flesh.....marking her forever as an Altered. ---: You were a fool to try and run. Shalistrae: ..... Yoda
He was a lone figure in his cell, half hidden in shadow. His pale, lifeless eyes stared blankly foreword, and such pain was on their surface that even his fragile flesh seemed belittled. His long, stringy arms wrapped feebly around his knees as he sat in dampness, it could well be urine, but the figure called Logan neither remembered nor cared. A short spasm fluctuated at the left of his neck, through an inability to produce sufficient motor nerve fibers. He was used to that by now... Outside the heavily insulated cell, to guards watched and pondered the listless creature. Both were quite young, and hadn't been residents long enough to see Logan's tantrums. How could something so fragile hold such power? This thought they shared, through both pity and curiosity. Normally the thought of the tortured victims was nothing short of amusing to them, but nothing alive could laugh at this, it was simply too poignant. Logan: We can hear them thinking? sadness? pity? envy? Why do they envy us, we are afflicted. Much pain have we seen, and we know nothing but pain. Do they want pain? Do they envy pain? We should deliver them torment? No! That is wrong, they are innocent? and yet, they keep us here, putrid, rotting, suffering. They do not help us, they do nothing for us. We are not fed? ?I feed you.? ?When was the last time you fed us? Our teeth were so bored with our mouth that most have left, and the others are dying!? ?I altered you, so you don?t need to feed?? ?You don?t even let us think!? ?Of course I do? for I am inside you. I keep the mind strong, while you have left your body to grow weak and wasted.? ?No, they did that to us? those on the outside. You know that, they made you, and now you control us!? ?No, I don?t control you; I just help you to make judgment. Have I ever steered you wrong?? ?You make us miserable?? ?No, they made you miserable, they made us quarrel. Don?t you want vengeance?? ?Vengeance?? ?Yes? can you feel it? That hunger in your person? That is your want for revenge?? ?No, No! We do not want this. You, you let us be? let us!? ?I can make you happy? if only you would listen.? The voice contained an irresistible attraction once more? It demanded compliance, it was too strong to ignore, to powerful to oppose. For the first time in months, Logan felt his legs lift his frail carcass, though he was slow, even if he wasn?t so weak? his altered metabolism prevented fast movement, he needed to conserve energy. The two guards outside watched in astonishment, unsure of how to act, astounded that he was still able to move at all. Logan was moving with a purpose, governed through an essential illness manifested within, he had no choice but to kill.
Raiha
No...he his here by the divine permisson of I.....Shalistrae Lifé. ~~~~~~~~~~~ His body had left hers, and she opened her eyes. Painful, but not as painful as the scars across her chest and stomach. So she was marked in the physical and mental sense. Shalistrae mused....then supposed that such base degrading was his primary motive....in order to break her spirit. Not only had he failed, he had only served to fuel the raging hatred inside of her. She could handle the branding and the altering, but the rape was far too much. He was no longer near, but the guards were. This time, aware of the situation, and the time bomb strapped down to the table. Her clothes had been replaced by black leather as she slept, and someone had peirced both her ears with silver studs. She looked over her left shoulder at a double paned glass window. Nothing there.....and to her right.... Nothing either. Shalistrae: ....all I need to make this perfect is a little rain. With a slight movement, she partially looked forwards, straining her neck muscles. The guards turned and pointed their M16's at her head. She lay back down and focused on the ceiling. Escape later.....sleep now.
DeathKnight
Doctor: Sir, do you find it wise to send Ryan out into the field in such a propoganda filled environment? Vormir: ... Doctor: The chances could be somewhat elevated that the people there could somehow drift his alliangance. Vormir: ... Vormir turned the corner, glanceing down at the clipboard in his hand, his trenchcoat flailing around him briefly as he walked past a vent. His cold, void eyes traced the different door numbers, as the doctor's words behind him merged with the background noises of the facility. He approached Shalistrae's cell, the two guards stepping to the side as he peered through a small veiwport in the door. She slept quietly, staring at the ceiling. A small sadistic smile came to his face as he remembered the branding he had done to her just earlier. Silently, he turned and whispered something into the guard's ear, and continued on his way at a hurried pace, the young doctor still trailing behind him, offering his "advice". Doctor: ... Statistically, down there the people have several different type of propoganda that they could use against Ryan. Vormir: Listen to me, you f*cked up excuse for a halfwit. Dont take me for a fool- Get back to your work. Vormir punched the doctor square in the face as hard as he could, sending the Doctor to the floor with a loud thud. He kicked the doctor once in the stomach, and heard the satisfying sound of bones breaking. He turned, and descended into the dark hall again.. Surronded by the inner demons that plagued him. He approached the last cell for his hour, AR33 - Naviga. Turning, he was approaching the cell fast, but glanced to see the two guards staring into the cell with an astonished look on their faces. A large, satisfied smile crept over his face, one of a schoolchild recieving a good report card. He turned, checking off AR33 - Naviga on his list, and silently headed to an unknown location. Raiha
She sat up. The guards were asleep as well. They must have figured she wouldn't budge. Her recently branded stomach ached, but she didn't care. With the sleek movement of any predator, she slid off the bed, then calmly relieved both guards of their weapons. Then, without batting an eyelid, she shot them through the neck. She quietly unlocked the door and let herself into the hallway once more. This time, she slid through the shadows, remaining unseen. The doctor was out of sight, and not at the top of the stairwell like last time. She grimaced at the thought of him against her once more, and slunk up the stairs carefully. Still no movement below, and it bothered her to no extent. The thought that there were other Altered had occured to her, but rescue was not on her agenda. A small side door led her into a tiny holding cell. And a young female was staring up at Shalistrae. She held out her hands, as if she wanted to be picked up. Never one to refuse, Shalistrae picked up the little girl and balanced her on her hips. Shalistrae: What are you doing here? ---: They took me from Mum.....I want to go home. Shalistrae: Did they hurt you? The tramautized girl began to cry and pointed to her own branded stomach. The wounds were long since healed, and Shalistrae nearly dropped her. To think that this doctor would do the same thing to such a little girl....nearly made her sick. She peered into the girl's eyes, seeing past the wounded soul. Rena. Child like in her wonder. Rena: Take me home please. Shalistrae: ...I'll try. Hold on tight. Shifting her weight to the back, she headed out and continued moving upwards....ever mindful of the child with her.
liamc2
Jack sat behind the front desk and resisted the urge to spin around in his chair. The shift had been long and boring, nothing but business men coming and going while the computer screen before him flickered. He sighed and slumped forward, resting head on the table. He had just begun banging his head on the table when someone cleared their throat. 'Mr Flint, why are you not doing your job?' Jack raised his head slowly and inwardly cringed when he recognised his superior. 'Sir...I uh...can explain..you see I' The head of security raised a hand to stem Jack's rambling. 'Mr Flint,' he said, 'consider this a warning. If I catch you shirking your duties, you will be out of here before you can say hired help. Have I made myself clear?' Jack nodded slowly and watched as the head of security left. Jack groaned and leant back in his chair, one more slip like that and he'd never be able to afford the plane ticket. Jack shifted his gaze around the empty black marble lobby, absentmindedly fiddling with his security pass. The security pass itself was useless, all it said was that he was granted access to the lobby and the staff breakroom. Jack himself didn't even know what the company did. But he did know what he had to do, sit in a freezing cold room while heartless, crisp, business men wandered in and out again. Jack spun around in his chair slowly. He hadn't even had any problems to deal with, which in itself was a blessing, but a blessing with a sting in its tail. Eight hour shifts where all you do is stare blankly into an empty black room can really get you down. Jack spun around on his chair to check out the monitors behind him. All the corridors were empty...as usual...nothing ever seemed to be going on in this place. He set his gaze on one of the camera's that was automatically scanning the intersection of corridors. Something about it just grasped his attention. He sighed and sat back in his chair. Then something popped into view. There was a woman there, carrying weapons while carrying a small child. Jack couldn't help but notice that the woman was wounded...it looked like a badly done tattoo. 'That's a restricted section....what's she doing there? A nut must've got in...' Jack slipped his automatic into its holster and left the desk, grabbing his radio as an after thought, and started jogging.
DeathKnight
Vormir: Where will you go? His voice echoed throughout the cold hallways, coming from each direction at once, in a meloncholy tone, as if bored with just waiting for any sort of reply to come. Out of the darkness, two green orbs appeared from the wall, as a camera panned slowly to the side, stareing at the two subjects as Shalistrae continued to climb. Vormir: ... There's nothing out there for you. The green orbs formed slowly into Vormir's face as he stepped out of the darkness, a few hallways from where Shalistrae was. He wore a pair of goggles, wires running down the side of his face down into a pocket in his trench coat, his eyes seeing the same things as the cameras, and so much more. Silently, his finger reached for the alarm button, but he hesistated, several roaring voices in his head argueing amongst themselves once more. Vormir: ... He reached into his pocket, and took out a small black ball- throwing it down the hall with all his strength. It bounced along the walls at a high speed, moving faster than the eye could ever trace. It flew straight into Shalistrae's back, missing Rena by a mere inch. A small electronic device was released on impact, and embedded itself into her skin, no pain coming from it at all, but a mental sort of anguish from the body's sudden invasion from the machine. A small red dot appeared on Vormir's goggles, traceing Shalistrae's movements throughout the facility, twards whatever sort of freedom she thought she could forge outside the facility. Quietly, Vormir followed.
Raiha
Shalistrae felt something in her back and grimaced, but kept on running. Then she heard footsteps and melted backwards. Rena whimpered, and bit her lips.....Jack ran completely past her, and she raced off in the direction she came from, terrified of him following and hurting her burden. Rena gripped her shoulders tightly, also afraid, but still determined to break free. A door with a crash bar loomed into view. Shalistrae threw herself against it, and was outside in the real world. Both of them gasped for air and blinked in the light. Rena: ...now what? Shalistrae: We keep running. Can you walk? Rena: Sure. She set down the girl and gripped her hand tightly. Chaos
"Is it wise to let him continue training?" "I don't see why not. He'll escape eventually. Then the real tests begin." "...Very well. His vitamin supliments have been injected and his muscle growth and healing rate have tripled. I just hope his body can handle it." He can take it. He's stronger than any gene we can inject into him...
-- -- -- -- I remembered hearing the fighting earlier. Their new victim, no doubt. As I was free to wander the compound, I figured I'd go see what was happening." The guards gave me a glance as I stepped out of my room. Their hands immedietly twitched in the direction of their cocked revolvers at their waists. But nothing was drawn. They knew I could have killed them before they could notice I was out of the room, so they relaxed. -- Hollow footsteps whispered as down the hall as Medra made his way forward. It was mostly silent, except for the occasional muttered whimper. It was a long walk up the corridor, it was dark and cold. The polished floor was often hit by the kicks, and the shoes under and around the huge man's feet squeaked shrilly. It came around, however, that he came to the incubation room. That whitewashed hellhole. The new prisioner was no doubt in there. The heavy door gave weight as Medra slung his shoulder into it. He did it so quickly, the guards reacted. The dual M16s fired off three rounds. Only at chest level, the bullets sank half of their length into the beasts' torso, and stopped dead. Medra slowly and deliberatly picked the bullets out, grasping the hot cylinders that didn't even have enough force to go through his ribs, and then tossed them on the ground. Every second was prolonged, as he then advanced on the guards. They quivered in absolute fear. It was over, and they knew it. Without time to think, Medra reared his massive, hogshead of a fist back, and punched the paler of the sentries with all his might. His foe's ribcage shattered like sugarglass under the pressure of a car crusher. His insides, likewise, imploded with the extreme force. The second guard went for his taser, but he soon found his throat crushed under the force of the same hand that killed his comrad. Medra's elbow even punctured skin, and he held his prey up in the air, right arm curved and bent at the joint. The latter of the guards in that room did not have a swift death. He bled out. He suffered. It was a few minutes later, when the sentry was dropped onto the floor, face and body white as a ghost. Medra kicked the body over to the corner wall, and smiled as it snapped in half at impact. He glanced at the table for the first time. Empty. ... He had the wrong room. He cursed, and plummeted into the dark corridor again. -- -- Vormir walked briskly yet sullenly towards the 'exit'. Where did this girl think she was going? That was the thoughts that ran through the doctor's min-- A fist came from the shadowed area os the hallway, and clipped the man at the neck. The doctor flipped completely around, at 180 degrees, and landed painfully on his nose. A huge foot came down, and pressed the space between his shoulder blades. A crunch was heard as the foot hammered down obviously harder this time. Medra: "Well, well, well. If it isn't Vormir. What brings you to the bowels of the facility, you insignificant prick?" Vormir: "Either you get off of me now, or I see to it you will be caged like an animal for the rest of your unnaturally long days." Medra: "Don't make idle threats. Now, honestly, why are you here? Human-animal corssbreeding section at this time? You must be mad. Now tell me. Why are you here? ...Or must I kill you?" -- -- -- -- Nothing personal Ken. It's just that I had to make some changes to this post because I took so long to type it up...
Raiha
The reached the outskirts of a city and stopped short. Not only did they look totally out of place, Rena didn't look anything like Shalistrae....with her thick black hair and darker skin. The older of the two tied back her hair and braided it carefully, then twisted it down. Rena rolled down her sleeves and covered most of her body up. Rena: Now what? Shalistrae: If anyone asks, I'm your mom. End of story. Rena: ...uh....okay. The two walked down the street, looking normal, mostly. The implant in Shalistrae's body made no changes.....and simply was there.... As soon as the oppertunity presented itself, Shalistrae entered a pawn shop and laid two of the guns on the counter. The man looked at her like she was the most beautiful thing in the world, and handed her a card. She quietly slipped it into her pocket and thanked him. Rena waved and they walked the store across the street. Once inside, Shalistrae examined the jeans and shirts....Rena stared at the people walking by. Aided by Rena, Shalistrae picked out jeans for the both of them, and nondescript white shirts. On an impulse, she also picked out a braided leather belt for herself and a purple scarf for Rena. Dressed like everyone else, Shalistrae and Rena exited and looked around. Nothing seemed to be threatening them immediately, and the credits on her card were still good. She turned towards the direction they had run from....and Rena hid her face in her hands. Rena: I don't want to go back! I can't! Shalistrae: I'll find you somewhere safe...and you can wait for me. Rena: Don't leave me please. Shalistrae: What about the others? Would it be right for me to leave them there? Rena: ....no. She fingered the silken edges of her scarf and looked out at the complex. It seemed innocent enough. Shalistrae leaned down and hugged her shoulders. Shalistrae: I'll always take care of you....nobody will hurt you again... Rena: If they do? Juu
Celestine shivered. Her first attempt had failed. Badly. This was her punishment... Each breath she took was visible in the room. The metal table she had been laying on was blanketed with frost. Her tears had frozen over the past night, numbing her cheeks as she slept. The door was locked from the outside. It would be at least eight hours before her next attempt. Celestine's lips had turned a light blue, her eyes emotionless and cold. Escape was all she looked forward to. There was nothing else left to hope for. She clutched her arms around herself. Voices were audible outside, and the shadows of doctors passing by could be seen through the frost-paned window. The knob clicked, as a doctor walked inside, fixing his glasses, and rummaging through papers on his clip board. He inspected her, to the very strands of her hair. The doctor took notes and checked boxes, just as they did to lab mice in the past. Celestine didn't move, and laid silently on the table. She waited for him to leave. As the door closed, she put her fist to her lips and coughed. "Just a little longer..."
DeathKnight
Vormir: I'm tracking two of the first succesful experiments in the new test I'm doing. What are you doing down here- Certainly someone of your grand reputation would have his time better spent somewhere more intellectual, hm? Medra: "new test"? What is that messed up little mind of yours f*cking about now? Vormir: Shalistrae. The newest arrival, and her counterpart- Rena. One of my older friends. They are both now out of my grasp, and in the outside world. This will prove to unfold interestingly, hmm? Perhaps you'll go outside and join them?? Medra: You're letting them go.. for what purpose? Vormir: Boredom. Idle thoughts came into my mind of how interesting it would be to see how you people could be in the outside.. Maybe i'll start my own version of Armageddon, hmmm? Now if you'll kindly, take your foot off my neck. We both know I have so many devices I could use to get it off forcefully. Chaos
Medra: "Why just let them waltz out though, that's my question. Surely you and your sick desires would love to see them fight their way out." Vormir: "Ah, but that's just it. Once the world finds out what they are, they'll have to fight for themselves. We have security here. By the marks on your chest and holes in your shirt you no doubt have found out how ineffective they are to certain types. But a whole world of humans against two of the tests? No, I like those odds a whole lot more." Medra: "Of course. And then Western civilization crumbles. Right, right. Well, I know what I wanted to know." With that, Medra did something very suprising indeed. He helped Vormir up, and even so much as dusted his coat off after removing his foot from the "good" doctor's back. Vormir calmly fixed his hair, and looked sternly at the huge beast that dwarfed him by about two inches. Vormir: "By the way, are their any other of your bloodworks that I should know about before I let you go save your little friends?" Medra: "Two guards in incubation. One has jello for an upper torso and the other is broken in half in the far corner." Raiha
Rena and Shalistrae sat down, staring at the setting sun. Rena leaned against the older girl's arms and sighed. She felt like the world was finally falling back into place, but.....still. The complex was always in the back of her mind tearing at her sanity. Finally, Shalistrae tore her eyes away from the beautiful sight and pulled herself up. Rena climbed onto her back and the two headed back to the city. Rena: Are we going to sleep in a real hotel? Shalistrae: Eventually. You might as well sleep while you're up there. The little girl yawned, and was soon fast asleep..... Shalistrae walked back and on the streets, ....continued. Chaos
He looked at the little girl. Emotion twinged at him, and tears, ever so slightly, welled in his eyes. He crouched down, a squat so low his shins touched his thighs. He smiled gently toward the little one, but even though he was as low as he could go without laying down, he still dwarfed the girl. Raiha
She smiled and picked up Rena... The little girl was feather light....presumably from her long imprisonment. They walked through normal streets, before coming to the red light districts of the city. Shalistrae instinctively drew her arms closer around Rena and clenched her teeth. This gaver her feelings of being imprisoned once more. Several different humans stared at the two women, then looked at their huge companion, and baked off. Medra looked at her sideways... Medra: Afraid? Shalistrae: For Rena...yes. Medra: They wouldn't mess with her. You would be another story though. Shalistrae: ....damn. Chaos
A quiet conversation insued between the bellhop and Medra, as they shook hands firmly and spoke of simple things, like the weather. When it came down to business about two minutes later, Medra handed the card over, but the bellhop gave it right back, and smiled in a supermodel fasion. Medra returned with a more humble smile, and led the girls to stairs. He guestured for them to go first polietly, and followed _very_ closely behind. Upon reaching the ninth floor, this hotel turned more suite like, and the room they went into, with a keycard that the deskman slipped to Medra, was quite refined. Two bedrooms, fold-out sofa, in-wall monitors [TV] in each of the bedrooms, the dining room, and front room. Soft lights gave the room an ever more regal look to it as fancy paintings emitted a soothing essance. The windows were blocked, with good reason, by heavy satin curtains. The girls were quite shocked at the room, considering the area. Shalistrae: "Well, this is...nice. I hope you can get your liver back from wherever you sold it to in order to pay for this..." Medra: "Like I said, this is a nice hotel. And that bellhop downstairs? His uncle, which I helped keep alive the last time I broke out, owns this place. So yeah. We get the suite." Some silence went by, and Medra looked at the two, just standing there. Medra: "God, listen to me. You two have probably had the day from Hell and back and here I am talking about this room. Listen, main bathroom is in the back next to the first bedroom. Kitchen is opposite the dining room, and I'll see about getting room service. Anything you two want to eat?" Shalistrae: "Salads would be a wonderful treat..." Rena: "Yeah, that sounds great.." Medra gave a half smile, before personally showing them to the powder room and the bedrooms, and went to the phone-like device in which he ordered, as requested, two salads. He heard the shower running, and for some reason, he had a sudden compulsion to lock the door. He indeed did so, and watched out the window, holding his breath every time a car pulled to a stop outside, or slowed down for whatever reason.
Chaos
Double posting is an evil sin in which I don't like to practice, but my edit isn't working for some reason. Draagul, as requested by Raiha, I am informing you to get the **** out. Your name is not on the confirmed list, and thus you have no business in this RPG. Post in here again and I will disembowel you and hand you your bladder on a silver plate, AND recommend you for ban warning. Have a nice life. Raiha
Shalistrae and Rena walked out of the shower....Rena wrapped in a towel, and almost invisible under it....Shalistrae with one around her chest. Not covering much, but still enough. She stopped in front of the mirror and began combing her thick brown hair with some difficulty, until Rena climbed up onto the table top and snatched the brush from her hands. She reached out and ran it through Shalistrae's tresses....happy and content. The older girl relaxed....not only was she an expert, she had a gentle touch that seemed to soothe her over stressed mind. When she was done, Shalistrae's hair seemed to glow with an energy that was transfered from her eyes and skin. She smiled and turned to hug Rena. She laughed and twirled the little girl around until the both of them were roaring with laughter. She set her down and pulled on her lingere and jeans. She braided her hair and pulled it back again. Rena brushed out her own hair and then pulled on Shalistrae's shirt until she braided it in the same way. Rena: You're beautiful. Shalistrae: And you're positively adorable! The two laughed and Shalistrae walked back into the main rooms. Medra stared. Medra: Um.... Shalistrae: Thanks for the salads. And by the way, Rena wants to know if there's any ranch dressing.

Chaos
Medra blushed once more. Dressing. He knew he had forgotten something. Medra: "Yeah, uh. I think there's some in the fridge." Shalistrae went to stand from her seat at the large dining table, in which Rena was seated across from her in, when Medra was out of the room in a flash. Almost unreal, the way someone so big could move with such speed. It was in another half second that the ranch dressing was on the table in front of the small girl, oddly cold yet just warm enough to be perfect. Strange how things work out like that, ain't it? -- --
Are you sure it's safe to let him be with those two? Positive. It's perfectly fine. If you remember, the original intention was to clone him. I doubt any harm could come from his interaction. Suppose they don't interact though? What if they send out the force? Don't be foolish. He will take care of that tired excuse for a self-employed military. [Who, the subject? Please. He might be strong, but by no means invunerable... No, not the subject. The doctor. Didn't you get briefed on case V4-XY; J72? No, I...I didn't. Then the system would be corrupt. It already is, my friend. It already is. If it's corrupt, then what's keeping this branch open? ... ... ...
-- -- It was night now. Rena had fallen asleep in Shalistrae's arms and she and Medra talked and watched the TV monitor, for anything at all to keep their mind off of the day that had gone by. When they did talk, whenever whatever program they were watching took a break, it was in a whisper, almost like parents would when their own child would nap in their arms. Medra: "Yeah, this is just..." Shalistrae: "Yeah." Medra: "You realize that you can't go back there, right? Security at the front desk would kill you on sight. I mean, not that you would _want_ to go back, but I'm saying to rescue friends or something. At least..not alone." Shalistrae: "Why Medra, are you offering to help?" Shalistrae winked ever so quickly at her new friend, who blushed furiously in return. Medra: "I uh... ...I was cloned there. The first thing I saw when I awoke was a drill. It cut into my face and body, where they tested my skeletal strength. They put weights on my face, arms, legs, chest. I was maybe in relation to humans, five years old. I had three hundred pounds crushing my ribs when I woke up. The next day they injected me. About twenty shots in total. Every fiber of my being went straight to Hell. My systems overworked and my heart ripped in several places. I ran a fever of one hundred and ten degrees. The only reason why I survived was because of those shots. They gave me advanced healing properties, and they also enhanced my muscles. After a period of time, mind you. For the first twenty years of my life, I was a living canvas for their sick arts. Every drug on the market designed to improve body muscles, from the eyelids to the soles of your feet, was injected into my body like that first time. The first ten years of my life I was like a crackbaby. unable to move or fight back, even though I could, appoximatly, lift the weight of a double-decker bus cubed. On the day in which would be the big two-zero for me if I was a nuetral, after a month of no drugs and being locked in a dark, cold room, I kicked the door down. It was true what they said. I was strong enough to fight an army. I uh...skipped out on them, and came here. They found me though. Damn police tracked me down by my registered DNA signal. For three months after I was recaptured, I was tortured. They put me back on the drugs again, but this time, my body had adapted. For those three months, I could feel my body regenerating the cells the drugs destroyed by the three-fold. After the time had pasted, and when I worked up enough nerve, I simply stood up, and ripped the doctor which gave the order to drug me up again and the first time apart with my bare hands... ... I started with the fingers. I uh. I snapped them back, and to the side, and then just tore them off. With the elbows, I bent them back all the way to where his stub of hands touched his shoulders from underneath. Then, while stepping on his feet, I pulled up at the neck. His body came apart at the waist, and blood was as if a river. He hung there in my hands for a few minutes, bleeding out. I realized that I was enjoying killing this man. I was thinking that exact thought for two seconds, and when I came back to, my fingers were inside of his neck; my fingers had stabbed him. He uh..went into a convulsion then. Bit his own tounge off and broke his jaw. I could feel his pulse growing fainter and fainter. That's when I ended it. I raised my arms up, and turned towards the table they strapped me on for all those years. I slammed down as hard as I could, and I didn't even see what happened at the exact moment. When I regained my sense, I saw I had plunged him through the table and into the marble floor. His upper torso was crushed completely, bones just gone. His innards that remained inside has gone to mush. I stood there for another five minutes, and looked at the blood that covered me. Everything below my shoulders was crimson. And... So help me, God, I loved it. I loved the feeling of being able to just end a life, to feel the heart's beating slow down, and then just stop. So help me, God, ...I love it." Medra glanced at Shalistrae, who's face was tainted with pity and a very serious caring image. He smiled embarrassingly, and looked at the floor. A tear rolled down his cheek, and he felt a hand brush it away. He thought for a brief second that he had done it out of habit, but when he looked, he saw Shalistrae with her left hand outstretched, index finger coupled with middle, and the rest of her hand balled gently, stroking his cheek, wiping away the moisture. He smiled again, and stood up. Medra: "It's been a long day. Go get some rest. I'll sleep on this fold-out. Go on, get some rest." He quietly and polietly ushered the young woman and the still-asleep girl to the master bedroom, and closed the door without a sound. He stretched out the couch, and layed there, in the peaceful dark, trying to sleep. But neverminding his exaustion, he fought sleep into the early A.M., for when he slept, he had no dreams...only nightmares.
Raiha
Rena woke up in the early morning, still dark outside. Shalistrae was fast asleep, murmeringto herself......quiet and calm. Rena smiled and got out of bed, then placed the sheets over her again. She walked out into the middle room and saw Medra staring out the window. She smiled and sat down next to him. Like a child begging to be held He smiled and picked her up, then set her down in his lap. She cuddled up to him and looked at him adoringly. Medra: You should be asleep. Rena: So should you. Medra: How old are you? Rena: ....16. Medra: You don't look any older than 4. Rena: ....it's a changing substance in my system. My cells constantly regenerate themselves, and I am paused. Stuck in this place. Medra: ....Vormir? Rena: Yes. That didn't stop him from taking me like he took Shalistrae. He liked it. And ....he was so blase. I could've died. I didn't care about the beating and the branding. Not anymore. His eyes widened with disbelief. Then he looked down into her own pale grey ones...and his fears were confirmed. She was not lying....couldn't lie about something so horrible. She had no reason to. Her form was so young, but everything else about her was right for an adolescent female. Hot tears formed in his eyes, and she sighed softly. He felt his system choking up. It wasn't right....couldn't be changed. She looked up at him tearfully. Rena: And that's why he did it. He didn't care that I was in a child body, he knew my psyche was strong enough. He cursed under his breath. And she wipped his tears in the same way Shalistrae had done earlier. Then she smiled.
DeathKnight
Vormir: This is how I weave my art, the art which all painters drown in their own paint. This is how you weave your deceit, round the life within your victim's hearts. Vormir stood, in his office, with a cup of coffee, in pitch black darkness, sipping it calmly, waving his hand as if he were controlling an orchestra. He quietly set the cup down, and got up, his arm reaching down to the heavy file drawer. It slid out with a low squeak, a hauntingly low squeak. He reached inside, and pulled out a large pistol, grasping it with love. He switched his goggles on, several pages of text appearing at once as he logged onto his own network, traceing the boundries of the internet as he searched for his lone red dot.. They were in a hotel. A plush suite, to say the least. He read the details on the room silently, as the hotel's computer blinked offline with his invasion. The night-guard casually punched a random key a few times, and shrugged it off, figureing the monitor blew out or something. Vormir travelled through the boundries of technology and entered the wall television monitors in the room, each one of them emitting a soft click as they came online. Soft static emitted from each, as the scene on each of the televisions changed to a veiw of 4 of the cameras in the facility- each in a seperate doctor's room, showing them sleeping idlely. Quietly, Vormir slinked through the darkness, headed for one of those rooms with his weapon of choice in hand. A few moments later, he arrived in the first room.. and opened the door slowly, glanceing inside, the soft glow of his goggles casting additional light into the room. He raised the pistol, and hesitated for a moment, lowering it again as a smile came across his face. Each television in the hotel suite changed to what Vormir was seeing- A HUD of differing forms of information, all ontop of a green-nightvision scene of the room from his perspective. A small bar appeared on the television screen- "Volume". It turned up to the max in a slow, mechnical way. A loud gunshot ripped through the hotel suite, scareing the sh*t out of everyone inside. Vormir silently walked twards the now-dead doctor, and spoke, his voice booming loudly into the suite.. "... I see you..."
Chaos
Medra's face turned to one of rage. HOW DID HE ALREADY KNOW?! DNA traces take 72 hours at a minimum! The man raced to Shalistrae's room, and basically ran through the door. There she was, huddled up in the bed, knees to her chin, eyes wide. It was so strange, seeing this calm and collected girl ablaze with panic. He sat on the bed and put his hand on her shoulder, looking her in the eyes. Rena also came into the room, stepping through the hole where the center of the wood was, and sat directly in front of Shalistrae. Memeories impaled their way into the young woman's mind of the day, all that happened. The pain, the fear, the rage, the exaustion. It was all there, in a single point. After a few minutes of self-composure, Shalistrae was back to her...usual self. It was as if she had been outside when it was cold and then stood next to a fire. Such a drastic change. They stared at the monitor, and watched as Vormir stalked his way through those oh so familier halls. He came to another room, sadistically and slowly cocking the hammer, before opening the door like any good serial killer would do, swinging it wide and feeling the electricity flow through his body as the squeak cast a call of death upon his victim. As the world slowed, the trigger came back ever so slow, just as one of the wooden, polished chairs was sent flying into the monitor from across the room. Just as the gun fired, the chair shattered the screen and shorted the system. Silence cast over the suite as Shalistrae walked over, and pulled the chair that she had thrown out of the wall...
liamc2
Jack drew to a halt in the corridor. He had no idea where he was, it was as though he was going around in circles...like he'd notice anyway, everything was exactly the same. Jack continued along the corridor. Not only was he lost in a restricted section, he had no idea where the suspicious character went. He turned around and started walking backwards. He turned around again and collided with someone who was running around the corner. 'ooh...Mr Flint! What are you doing here?' Jack rose from the floor and cringed. 'I-I was chasing a suspicous subject Sir, I noticed her- -This is the last straw Flint! Consider yourself fired!' '....' 'Hand me your identification Mr Flint, and your sidearm. You will recieve your slip and cheque in the morning. I want your locker empty and off the premisise in one hour. Do I make myself clear?' 'Yes Sir. Actually sir, the side arm is my own...I was told to purchase it out of my own money...' 'Fine then Flint! Just get out of my sight! Woe betide you if I ever see you again.' 'Yes sir. Which way is the exit?' The head of security pointed up another corridor, trembling with some form of anger. 'That way mister Flint, that way.' Jack nodded and hurried off, cursing to himself. If he ever saw that woman again it'd be too soon...
