Jedah
"Well now....you certainly are good at making a mess." Donovan suddenly dropped from the ceiling in front of the three "shoppers", and began to walk with them towards the exit. "You know....I really could use a new Beanie cap Medra. Of course, there's no need to bring down the whole shelf this time.."*
Raiha
Medra made a furious move towards Rena, but Shalistrae expertly stuck out one leg, hooked it underneath his heel, and sent him sprawling. Rena then proceeded to sit on his chest and bounce happily....oblivious to his groaning and pleading. Shalistrae, ever diplomatic, smiled at him and picked up her bags. With an expert flip, she handed him a transfer card and winked. Donovan: Why the sudden kindness? Shalistrae: An afterthought.....and an apoligy for my "daughters" behaviour when we first met. She flashed him a brilliant smile and motioned for Rena to let up her "Daddy." With a heave and a sigh, he got off the floor and picked up Rena. She threw her arms around his neck and laughed. Rena: Let's go daddy! Medra: ....you know you're taking this a bit far sweetie.... Shalistrae: Come on honey. Dinner's waiting. Donovan: ....oy. Jedah
I must be sending the wrong messages here..... *Donovan slowly got to his knees, and spit out a small stream of blood and saliva onto the concrete. He wiped his mouth and stood finally, his eyes burned again.... Medra was unable to find Donovan after the blow, and proceeded to think he ran off again. As he reached for the door handle, his spine instantly caved forward, as if he had been hit with the grill of a mack truck. Donovan stood behind him, his foot firmly planted into the small of Medra's back. The young blind man slowly lifted his foot into the air, and thrust it sideways, hurling Medra down back the hall of the store...Donovan lowered his leg, and cocked his neck from side to side, cracking the joints. Donovan: "When will you realize I am in no way trying to hurt these two woman. I only wish to accompany you for a short while. You know Medra, violence isn't always the correct solution to a problem." He proceeded to turn to Shalistrae, un-able to actually "see" her, he could still sense her magnificently intoxicating presence. he bowed his head to her and Rena, as he walked past them, and held the door open as a gentlemen, allowing the females to pass through...*

Chaos
As they walked down the street, Medra holding all of the many bags, he looked directly at Shalistrae out of the corner of his eye. He lost his former wry sense of being, and his voice drew weary with exaustion. Medra: "I really wanted to just hit him once. Just, pow, right in the jaw. But, I honor your...ankle-snapping decision. And you..." He turned to Rena, a slightly energetic twinkle in his eye. Medra: "And you... You're going to hurt 'daddy' if you keep that up." He got an impish smile in return, and he weaved his way around a group of people standing in front of a department store window, which showed TVs, a news report on. Medra: The crash... Dammit. "Walk faster, Shal." They had not sprinted forward for half a second when they heard the reporter say something about 'if you see this man, call the police immedietly, and stay away from him.' Medra took no time, and picked Shalistrae up, left arm bracing her back, right under her knees [still holding the bags], while she cradled Rena. He ran forward, long and full strides, with an unmatched speed for a human. He was easily clocking twenty miles per hour, evading the screams of the crowd at the appliance store. He dove into an alleyway, set the girls down, and motioned for them to follow. They came to the edge of the alley, facing a ritzy suite complex. Medra turned to the two, and looked them over. Rena was in a semi-casual outfit, but she was well dressed. Shalistrae, on the other hand, was in a pair of flared jeans and a teeshirt. Not too stylish for their next digs... Medra: "Uh, Shalistrae, dear, I kinda need you to change into that new dress of yours. See, well...Tees and jeans won't go well with champagne. I'll look away.." Medra blushed at the thought of it, and waited as he blocked public view. After five minutes of hearing this and that ruffle, he became impatient, and turned around to see what was taking so long. His entire face turned cherry red, and he whipped his body around to face away again, blood flooding the veins in his face as he blushed harder than ever before. For behind him, Shalistrae had was just about to put her strapless bra on, and her upper torso was completely nude. A minute or two later, he was still red. Shalistrae, slightly startling him, put her arm through his, and snaked her fingers into his. Her hair was pulled back and slightly styled. She was like an angel in black. He was shocked again, and Rena grasped his other hand, and smiled up at him. He put the bags over his shoulder, and walked across the street, and into the complex, holding the door open for his two female companions. He walked up to the desk, card in hand, and ordered a room on the eighth floor, the 'Princess Floor', as it was called here. This was an urban Four Seasons, this place, and it showed it. Huge marble tiles and slabs covered the reception floor, and luxerious elevators lined with brass and satin rode silently up and down, just parallel to a lovely fountain which doused the room, intoxicated with soft piano music, with a pleasent white noise. The room itself, was similar to that of their previous establishment, only about ten times better... -- -- -- -- Typos can be forgiven, I am pressed for time. Shalistrae: Dearest, don't you think you should get some rest? Rena: Does this mean he's my daddy again?!? Shalistrae: To the public yes. Medra turned red and mumbled something along the lines of "What is the meaning of my existance?" Jedah
*Donovan observed the surroundings of the lobby. Each man had a finely pressed tuxedo..besides himself of course. Soon enough, he began to catch glares from the surrounding high society folk. He could just sense them staring at his ensemble. Donovan: "Well, seems like I need to re-think my wardrobe. Be back in a moment." The young man strolled to the bathroom, following a middle-aged man with a very nice and professional tuxedo. A minute or so later, Donovan walked into the room Shalistrae Medra and Rena were in, his newly "acquired" suit fit him quite nicely....*

Jedah
*Donovan saw the couple sleeping on the bed, and stopped dead in his tracks. He turned to Rena, who grinned at him happily, as she sat with the tv remote in her hand. Donovan raised a finger to his lips, and made the "Shhhhhh" gesture, as he slowly backpedaled. He saw Medra's credit card on the counter, and slowly picked it up stealthily. Rena mimicked him, doing the same gesture. Donovan waved to the little girl, as he exited the room, shutting the door carefully behind him. He raised his hand in front of him, and smirked as he held Medra's card in it. He would simply rent a room with it, nothing more....*
Raiha
Rena pointed her hand at the door to the master bedroom and it shut smoothly. Before Donovan knew what was happening to him, he was back in the room, standing infront of a closed door. Then she patted the table next to her and Donovan sat down uneasily. She smiled up at him, dimples showing. Rena: You'd better bring that back in ten minutes. Daddy won't like it if it's gone when he gets back. Donovan: ...are you always this direct? Rena: Yeah....besides, you owe me your life. Donovan: Do I? Rena: I could've easily let Medra clean your clock. She grinned and shook her finger in his face. He chuckled and ruffled her hair. Then he stood and bowed.....exited quietly. Rena sat back in front of the T.V., watching Clifford the Big Red Dog..... Even if she was a 16 year old, her child self still loved kiddy programs. Shalistrae sighed and turned over in her sleep..... And time went by. Several hours later, Rena was curled up on the sofa, covered by an quilt. Shalistrae woke up in a rather awkward position. If she moved either of her arms, the circulation would most likely end there. Medra was half on top of her, half hanging off the bed. She contemplated waking him up, but decided not to. After all, she owed him what she was enjoying at the moment. A comfortable room, a sleeping Rena, and a soothed spirit. She didn't have to wait long. He woke up.....and found himself splayed across her stomach.... Shalistrae: Good evening.
Juu
Celestine blinked as the corpse collapsed a few inches away from her, his eyes frozen at the back of his head. It was terrifying. She had never seen something shot so upclose before. The sound of the gunshot awoke her from her dream-state. Her head stuggled to stay balanced on her shoulders. "Are you alright?" The man asked, lowering his gun and bending over next to her. Celestine opened her mouth to speak, but grimaced at the striking pain in her shoulder. Her eyes warily looked up at him, feeling much dizzer than before. She couldn't remember anything, or how she had escaped. Perhaps she would remember later. For now... sleep... His face began to blur as she fell back onto the grass. She woke up again, only this time to find herself inside a room. It was a cozy room. Small, but warm; away from...there. Underneath, she felt a strange, yet familiar feeling. It was soft, as well as the blankets placed over her. There was a fireplace, and a sweet, rich scent in the air. She began to wonder if she was dreaming or dead. Just then, she remembered. Celestine crawled out of bed, and began following the sweet smell. She found a pot in the kitchen, whistling with steam. Without much thought, she lifted the lid, and whiffed at the warmness of the food. "Good, you're awake." Celestine turned around, and stared uneasily at the man. She stepped away from the pot. "Sorry it's so small. I heard there was a shooting upstairs in the main rooms." He continued. "Are you... one of them?" Celestine asked, words feeling strange on her tounge. "Nope. Just got fired today." He replied, biting his lower lip. "Oh yes, I'm Jack. Jack Flint." "Celestine." She spoke uncertainly. The two shook hands, and smiled. It had been a while since she had spoken with other people. "Do you live here?" Jack chuckled, and put his hands in his pockets. "Not really. Just staying here for the night." ------- Ack. Sorry if that didn't make sense. ^_^;;
The Vampire: Ed
The night air was frigid, combined with the strong blowing wind and snow covered ground there would be no comfort to the poor souls exposed to such weather. But the weather was the least of their problems in a small remote area of Germany, there in a lab at the center of town genetic scientist were capturing the innocent locals for experimentation. These experiments involved the alteration of a humans DNA, to improve their physical form and make them super human. The purpose of course was the usual. To build an army of super human soldiers to make their country more of a power in the world, as a matter of fact laboratories like this one were popping up all over the world. So it was more of a race between countries, corporations, and other entities that strive for power, to make the biggest, and strongest of armies. But of course many of the subjects would attempt to escape, and on some occasions they were successful. It is always handled quite differently in each region of how they would retrieve, or eliminate their escapees. In this area of German, they had their own altered human to do their dirty work. A former inmate of the American prison system, awaiting his death sentence for the murder of over two-hundred people. However, in his sick mind it was a sport. He hunted, and murdered humans for sport; being as mentally insane as he is there would be no moral issues to cloud his mind. A few German scientist greased the palms of a dirty politician to let the prisoner go into their custody, and once obtained they gave him a job as their personal predator to hunt down the escaped altered humans. A job, in which, he happily accepted. A new prey to hunt, and a new freedom from the laws that say murder is forbidden. With an escaped altered human, anything was aloud. On this night sport was afoot, an escaped altered human whom managed to break free from his cell during the scheduled feeding time. He managed to make it out of the lab, and through half of the city but all along the way he had the feeling that he was being watched. The altered man was indeed correct, leaping across the rooftops looking down upon him was the predator himself shrouded in the shadows. With a small taste of freedom, as well a high level of fear the escapee had managed to ignore the fact that he was barefoot and his clothing were only strips of fabric. His flesh was turning beat red from the wind lashing at it. Finally, thinking he was safe the man takes a break to catch his breath even with his altered body he managed to exhaust himself, perhaps on of the weaker altered humans. From the shadows atop a roof the hunter looks below into the alley, his eyes never leaving his prey. Slowly he brings his hand to a communication device in his ear, and speaks with an Australian accent. "The target is in my sights. Orders?" the hunter with no emotion whatsoever in his voice simply asks for the thumbs up, or thumps down in a manner of speaking. "Verbrauchbar. Zerstören Sie das Ziel." A German voice says into their hitman's ear, and just as the sentence ends a grin on the hunter's face begins. "Understood. Consider the subject erased." The hitman replies in amusement as he moves his coat aside then pulls a large knife from his belt. In a blink of an eye he leaps over the side of the building into the alley in a flash an explosion of snow sends icy clumps everywhere. Looking up the altered escapee sees the hunter now under the lights littering the streets, looking to be about six foot five inches in height. Wearing a long tan colored trench coat he had a dark tan, with long white hair tied back covered by a "cowboy" hat, a pair of black fingerless gloves covering his hands, and his eyes were as red as fire. "Wer sind Sie? Was wünschen Sie?" The subject yelled loudly towards his stalker firmly questioning him. "Who am I? Heh, I get that question from all of my prey." The hunter remarks with a grin on his face, as he pushes the tip of his hat upward out of his face. Seeing a puzzled in the subjects face, he could see he spoke no English so he continued their conversation in German. "Mein Name ist Heinrich, aber meine Kommandanten gaben mir den Codenamen Ignatius. Sie haben infromed mich, daß Sie verbrauchbar sind." The hitman now known as Heinrich replied shocking his prey with the information that he was to be eliminated. The subject turned and continued running down the alley as Heinrich watch, then laughed. As he got to the end of the alley he sees Heinrich step out from the shadows ahead, he slides as he attempts to stop but does so immediately turning back to escape the way he came. His running tired him out, but he had not seen Heinrich around. His initial thought was that he evaded him, but the sudden feel of an arm wrapping around his neck squeezing tightly told him otherwise. Heinrich looks down upon his victim squirming to free himself, but it was a useless struggle. Heinrich was much stronger than he, and easily drags him off into a dark corner of the street they were now on. A glare of Heinrich knife was an indication of what was coming, and the sound of flesh being sliced would confirm it. The sound of gagging, and choking is heard then slowly the all sound begins to fade. Just as it goes quiet the subject collapses into the snow under the light, and exposes his throat slit wide open from ear to ear as the blood pooled out staining and melting the snow around his corpse. Heinrich then steps out from the shadows, his face with blood splattered on it and a sadistic smile across his face. Heinrich kneels down next to his victim, and slices his ear off them places it in a small pouch on his side then gets up and simply walks away back into the shadows. Just before he totally vanished from view he is heard telling his commanders that he had accomplished his mission. --------------- Translations: "Verbrauchbar. The Harlequin
Rali stalked into a small motel. Already, he was feeling a lot better. He knew he carried a certain presence as well. At least, he looked like a different type of freak to the one he actually was. Which would serve perfectly. The man at the counter looked at him a second, quailed as Rali narrowed his eyes, and slapped a key on the counter, muttering a price. Rali dropped some money, not quite sure how much. The man gave some back though. The trenchcoat was a good find. A pistol, not sure of the make, and a large amount of money, had been inside. He remembered the training he had done, before they'd stepped up the dosage to the point where he had had the reaction. The gun was more of a hinderance than a help. He walked into the room, throwing himself onto the bed. He stared at the ceiling. That seemed to be getting to be a bad habit. This ceiling he could see at least. And there wasn't going to be another doorway of painful light. He was of two minds about that though. Pain defined existance. Existance was all he had. All he had was pain.
DeathKnight
Vormir's quiet form walked through a bustling section of town, various bodies colliding with each other at different intervals as the movement flowed in two different directions down the wide sidewalk. For once in his life, Vormir was alone. There was no one left- No one left to chase, no one left to conquer, no one left to see, nothing. His plan was already done, the subjects freedoms were guarenteed if they put some work into a small escape, his comrades were dead, he had money. There was nothing in the immediate time frame to take up his schedule. For one moment in his life, Vormir had absolutely nothing to do with his idle hands. The sheer boredom and endless idleness of this state was wearing on his nerves, his body ached for some sort of vindication from his self-made prison of endless freetime. Sighing in defeat, Vormir stopped at a crosswalk and glanced across the street, waiting patiently for the "Walk" light. Several cars flashed by, and a lone little girl stood next to Vormir, "la la la"ing to herself as she shifted from side to side, a small bag of groceries in her hand. Vormir's eyes glanced down to the little girl, who glanced up and grinnnneddd as big as she could. He looked shocked for a second, before humblely smileing back, the little girl seeming pleased at his response. Looking back up to the light, he wished for it to change- He willed it to change. It defiantly remained on "Dont Walk", several more cars flashing by as if to laugh at Vormir. The little girl continued to sing to herself, as several other people arrived at the crosswalk, Vormir's uneasiness around crowds growing. Chaos
The suprise of such a possition sent Medra into a state of instant worry, and he sprang himself backwards, and against the wall. His eyes were big, pupils small, as he grasped where his heart was on his person. He breathed heavily for a minute, regaining his composure. He looked to the side, thoughts racing about in his head. His hair was mashed a bit, and his clothes were ruffled. He looked at the giggling Shalistrae, and his red face slowly turned back to it's normal tanned bronze. Medra: "I uh. I'm gonna get a shower, all right? Just eh. Don't kill anybody." Shalistrae winked, and he removed himself from the wall, and collected his change of clothes; he was dressed in a black shirt and non-visible seam jeans. He had a few shirts, mostly black, a faded pair of blue carpenter jeans, and some Nike workout shorts. He also 'bought' some Adidases and Nikes from the shoe department of the store, as well as a few pairs of baggy, plaid boxers. He backed out of the door, shy smile plastered on his face and eyes locked on Shalistrae, whom was sitting up, legs forward on the bed, and arms back behind her to prop her up. He heard the faint whisperings of a kids' show on the television, and saw Rena asleep. His smile turned to one of serenity, and he walked into the bathroom, kicking his shoes off at the door. Within a minute of closing the door, the shower was running. Steam bellowed from under the door, and he leaned back in the small walk-in shower. His weary eyes went out of focus as his eyes fixated on the ceiling, thoughts wandering. But one thing had stayed in his mind; did he do anything to Shalistrae? He'd, honestly, feel horrid if he hurt her in anyway, and she was just being tough about it. His mind came snapping back to reality as the click of the door opening drew his attention. He turned his back to the water, his muscles clearly tensing. His right first pulled back, until his elbow silently hit the tile wall. He watched a form through the frosted glass door come slowly closer, and he felt the breeze come through the open door. He got ready for a spring forward, as adrenaline coursed through his veins, filling every nerve and capillary with extra strength, not that he would need it. A delicate hand tapped on the glass with the middle knuckle, and the familier voice came through his ears and filled him with relief. Shalistrae: "Hurry up, Med. Dinner's ready. Plus, I want some hot water too." Medra replied after a second, his voice breaking slightly. Medra: "Y-yeah. Be there in a s-se-second." Raiha
Shalistrae snickered and closed the door quietly. Shalistrae: I'm older than you honey....leave the couple making to me. Rena: Well, will I ever get a guy too? Shalistrae: ...maybe. As for now, pasta! With the ease of one use to kitchens, she set the table and prepared the spaghettie. Medra came out of the shower, calm, compsed....generally at ease. He sat down quietly and waited. Shalistrae winked and brought the sauce to the table. Rena: YUUMMY! Shalistrae: Rena..... Rena: Sorry. Shalistrae: Okay. Dig in. Chaos
Medra scraped his plate clean, and licked the sauce off of his fork. He moaned semi-sarcastically, and leaned over and kissed Shalistrae on the foreheard. He blushed lightly at his own uncontrolled reaction, but shook it off with a smile. Medra: "Shal, I don't think I ever had a better dinner in my life." Shalistrae: "I try. And don't call me Shal." Medra: "Will do." Rena giggled, and finished her plate. Shalistrae took her time, but with due time, ate her meal and wiped her mouth with her napkin when she was done. As soon as she did so, Medra, being the ever kind guy that he was, picked up the plates, smoothly, and brought them all in the kitchen. He came back, getting whatever glasses and utensils he missed, and started washing the dishes. Shalistrae came in after about five minutes, and watched him from the doorway, arms crossed over her stomach while leaning on the doorframe. Medra heard her enter, and when he didn't see her next to him or getting anything out of the refridgerator, he turned around. His partly careless look turned to a questioning smirk, as he chuckled slightly. Medra: "Shouldn't you be watching TV with Rena?" Shalistrae: "...There should be more guys out there like you." Medra: "Ah, but then, the world would be screwed. And you know it, so don't even try." He turned back to his dishes, ignoring the footsteps that approached a second after. He scrubbed the plate that he had been soaking, with a sponge, when he felt arms wrap around his waist. He stopped, putting the plate under the running water, and turned around to face Shalistrae. Her eyes sparkled, and he couldn't help but to gaze into those pools of silver, which seemed to have a tint of blue in them. Stunning, in a word. His own hands reached up, as if against his will. He just went with what his heart told him to do. His fingers gingerly wrapped around her shoulders, and he hugged the woman to his person for a few minutes. They stayed there, just listening to the water run. Another impulse took over his arms, and his hands came up to her jaw, making her look upwards. His lips met hers, and they swayed with each other. They held one other there for a while, before her face came back down, and she snuggled against him. He stood there, arms forming a barrier between the world and she. He would indeed protect Shalistrae, and Rena, with his life; he told himself that, and made it a pact within his own heart, right then and there. -- -- -- -- Mushy stuff. The Harlequin
Rali slept for a while, curling up in a defensive position instinctively. Do you need anything" Rali: Ah...no, I'm right... "Okay!" She walked away. Rali closed the door and slumped against it. Adrenalin ran its course through him. He noted the simple physical reactions were still there. It seemed that emotions didn't play a part in that kind of thing. Rali laughed harshly, though he felt no amusement. It just seemed that somewhere, in the back of his mind, that a normal person would have done that kind of thing. He could have turned himself in, and been a hell of a specimen to study. All sorts of things about how much part emotions plays in life. Rali considered going back to sleep. Instead, he turned, walked out the door and only just remembered to hide the gun. liamc2
OOC: I've been off sick so yeah, sorry.. -- Jack placed two plates on the table and spooned out servings of rice and a stew of vegetables. He shrugged and Celestines look and said 'Meagre I know, but its the last in the cubhoard. I need to get out of this deadend town. Besides, I've never killed anyone before.' Jack gave a small chuckled and began eating his share, beckoning Celestine to eat also. 'So,' he said, 'how did you come by that wacko place? Are you one of those radical 'ban globalisation' university students bent on revenge or something?' Celestine didn't reply and continued eating. Jack poised his fork over his plate and said quietly. 'So are you one of those...people...that flew out of the complex with supernatural powers type thing?' 'You could say that...' Jack raised an eyebrow, 'so are you going to kill me like the other guards?' Celestine smiled weakly, 'technincally you're not a guard, you got fired remember?' 'Very reassuring.' Chaos
Medra unhooked his arms from around the girl, and pushed her lightly and jokingly out of the room. Medra: "Oh cripes, go watch TV..." He rolled his eyes as Shalistrae stuck her tounge out at him, and continued to wash his dishes. His face was still burning hot, his emotions running ablaze. He had seen stars, literally, when he kissed her. He'd heard all of the stereotypical sayings about 'love' and 'soulmates', but this was truly and honestly setting him on fire. He adjusted his collar, and he could literally feel the steam coming from his chest and onto his neck. He finished his chore, and went into the front room, seeing the two girls curled up on the sofa, watching some old, black and white movie. A suspence thriller, or whatever they were called. Medra went to go lock the door, his hand on the deadbolt-- The door was already locked when he went to sleep. He turned around sharply, his eyes quizzical. He scanned the room. Nothing much was different. Chairs and all were unmoved, the loveseat next to the door was the same, and his card was... ...was on the other side of the table than where he left it. His hand shot out like a snake and grasped th card angrily. His eyes shot to Rena, whom was still watching the movie with her 'mommy'. In a second flat, Medra had crossed the room and picked her up forcefull by the arms. Yelling a protest, Shalistrae stood up and tried, futilely, to pry the girl from his grasp. Medra: "Rena, listen GOOD and listen NOW. WHO WAS IN HERE?!" Rena: "You're hurting me! Let me GO!!" Medra looked away, gritting his teeth, as his grip on the small-bodied girl, and placed her gently on the couch again, before storming off into the bedroom, where he slammed the door so hard that it nearly splintered straight in half. He went to a monitor, and slid the card through the slot above it. At that moment, Shalistrae burst in the room, screaming about "What the Hell do you think you're doing?! You could have hurt her!" and the such. Medra payed no attention, his pressed and stern face showing his rage. He ran out the hotel room, and was heard thundering down the stairs. Shalistrae, pissed off as well, looked at the screen at which the man had been so furiously angered from. Her eyes softened as she saw the cursor blinking next to a slot on the card's purchases; there were two rooms bought at this hotel. One was their room. Another's was... Donovan Bison's. Shalistrae hurried out the room, and told Rena to stay on her way out. The girl listened, and locked the door as she left... -- -- -- -- Writer's block strikes. The Harlequin
Rali wandered for hours, until the world grew dark around him. He smiled slightly, infected with the emotions of others. It seems his own feelings had been replaced by empathy for others. Useful, to say the least. He was flooded with rushes of sensation, but they were only fleeting glimpses of what others felt. There and gone in an instant, leaving him with vague impressions of what life really held. Every now and then, he would walk past a house, and a solid flood of emotion, sustained, would hit like like a sledge. Many times he paused, and savoured the lback of emptiness within himself. As the day dropped away though, such things became rarer and rarer. Still, he found the peace far more satisfying. He walked around through deserted streets, hearing raucous noise comnig from many buildings. He assumed it to be some kind of music. Seems style had really changed since he'd left. From one dark painted, almost hidden away building, the sound was intoxicating. He slipped inside, getting a simple nod from the well dressed man at the door. Inside, it seemed he had been cloned. Countless people, most dressed nearly identical to him, outlined in strange, flickering lights. In a few corners, smaller groups of people gathered around tables. Rali peered into the darkness inquisitively, his enhanced vision finding it easy to penetrate the gloom. People engaged in some kind of torture it seemed. And it seemed they were enjoying it. Surrounded by pain, the most interesting group of people he had so far layed eyes on, and bombarded with strange, bizarre emotions, Rali stepped forward, and into a maelstrom of darkness.
Raiha
Shalistrae padded out of the room silently, and scented. He was close by. Only three doors down. She knocked surruptitiously....then waited. He answered, and opened the door for her. She smiled and entered, then held out her hand. Donovan: So I've been found out. Shalistrae: Don't make me count to ten. Donovan: Merry Christmas. Shalistrae: Thank you. With a quick flip of her wrist, she shoved it in her bra, then smiled and left. Donovan watched her go...contemplating yelling some sort of vicious remark. Then thought better of it. Shalistrae kicked open the door to their own apartment, and hurled the card into Medra's direction. He caught it neatly, then looked at her. Medra: That was quick. Shalistrae: Never underestimate the power of diplomacy.
Chaos
...Rai, Medra was gone already. And the card was in the front room, which was how he actually found out that Donovan HAD been in there. Duh.
Juu
"Besides." Celestine continued. "I don't recall killing anybody..." Jack stared at her oddly. "Don't you remember anything?" Jack asked, taking another spoonful of stew. Celestine paused, and thought for a moment. She couldn't remember anything besides waking up earlier that evening. "Nothing." She replied, slowly shaking her head. Her eyes seemed to be deep in thought as she tried to recall the past night. She couldn't recall a thing that happened during the time between sitting in the room inside the base, and laying outside on the curb. It was frustrating. She couldn't even remember escape. Celestine quickly broke from thought, and reached for her spoon again. "How long have you been there?" Jack questioned, breaking the silence. "Um... about fourteen years..." She replied. "How about you? How long have you worked there?"
