I actually think it's really, really good.

The top of the orange texture looks like water (or barf, they both have water in them :p), and the bottom part looks likes flames. The border looks cool and the little text logo looks excellent too.

Nice job.

I knew it...Always cocky, always there to make sure everyone knows that your better than them. You have an attitude problem.

I quote from Elite, it's not how the banner is made, but the result that matters. It doesn't matter that you can make it in 10 minutes. You don't have to degrade a great graphics artist because 'you can do it faster than he can'. Immature.
Can I ask how that's a layout? It'd be better suited as a wallpaper were it of a proper size.
I never said it was a layout -_-'. Read my first post again this time slowly, for evenyou should be able to understand what I said.
I can make the same thing in ten minutes, nothing big -__-
Hah shift you keep talking big but never back up what you say. Why don't you post something that isn't tutorial based and does not suck -_o. I'd really love to see your awesome graphics skills.

And there is no render =P. And if you were to try to render something like that it wouldn't be considered simple because you'd need to use more than just one object/shape, plus a "simple" render would be jagged and have no airbrushing =P.

Anyway shift i'll be waiting i just can't express how much i want to see your 1337 photoshop skills.

Oh well that was my rant of the hour =]. Your opinions are respected, but atleast be able to back up what you say.

I think it's important to be a little more gracious in these forums. That goes specifically to Shift and Hittokiri. Hittokiri, you're really kind of getting your own medicine here; your attitude is much the same as Shift's. It's annoying and occasionally offensive.

I urge you both to take a lesson in humility and to practice more gracious behavior in this particular forum.

BTW: Shift? Dont hang out with Crono anymore. He has infested U with the attitude (I rule) virus.
It's crono not Crono, also, crono has brought to my attention that you should critique the way you feel about something, now how it looks to everybody else...

Right James but then again, everytime i critique ones work I post more than one line and tell them how they can make their image better . So I may be harsh in my words but atleast i'm helpful, and atleast I can back up what I say (@ Shift).

And the only reason why I am the way I am on this board is because the best way to help someone get better is to point out every little flaw in their graphics pieces when I post at other forums where the competition owns me such as Otaku Online, they rip me apart, but it helps. So I guess you can say from experience and a way to get my own back, I do the same to many of you... So if you were all to actually read and listen to what I say it will atleast help you in some way, sort or form, I can guarantee that.

The problem, Hittokiri, is that you are often highly blunt and rude when making your observations. That's not what effective criticism should be about.

Of course you can talk about the negatives, but I think it's important to encourage someone rather than to belittle them. You don't need to explain your form of posting to me; I understand your criticisms because I do read them. I'm just saying that it's not the content of what you're saying, it's the way you phrase your criticism. If you can improve that aspect of your posts, then I think nobody will ever have a problem with you at all.

Dude, I remember when you were Herman Nation, the guy who didn't get a great amount of respect, but seemed fairly ok.. I even got on with you ok. But personally, I think you've got a huge attitude problem these days, now that you're this "professional" 3D Max and photoshop dude.

There's a difference between saying what you feel about everything and turning your nose up to everything you could do yourself in a short time.. My Dad teaches 3D studio max, and he certainly wouldn't have an attitude like that towards someone else's work. Because the problem is, you're looking at the process, whereas the rest of us lowly people are looking at the end result.. try looking at the actual picture rather than simply commenting on how long it'd take you to do the same thing.

If you can't do that, I really hope you don't become a professional artist, cos there are enough like that already.

w.r.t. the graphic in question.. I thin kit's good.. especially if it was all done by airbrushing o_O..

Now that's how a true professional acts.

Shift, you're the one who "slung the mud" in the first place. If your criticism had been legitimate, nobody would have jumped on you. Even if you hadn't been the first to start the problem, there is no excuse to start a silly argument with people.
