Bing
Time for a new thread So, people out there, this only applies to X Box games, not other formats please, what games have you completed? What did you think of the ending? Where you satified, or dissapointed? How long did it take you? How challenging was it? This thread is most likely to contain spoilers, so please use your
[/ spoiler] tags to block them out! I have just finished my first ever X Box game. That was Blade II. Its's pretty long and challenging, but an all around fun game. I was burrowing it from a friend, and it took me around 2 weeks, because I don't play my 'Box all the time. Look forward to hearing your accomplishments! --A.B--
Outlaw
I finish Halo the day I got it, though it took me a long time. Beating it on legendary, however, took a bit longer, but the extra scence was worth it.
Tommy Vercetti
I completed Conflict Desert Storm yesterday, i am not sure how long it took me as i bought it on boxing day but i hadn't played it constantly since i bought so i say it took me roughly about a month. The ending was pretty cool but i won't say anything about it but the levels were funny and some were pretty challenging also.
BigCajones
Well after a long period of not playing my games (except when mates are over), I decided to play good old Halo. I managed to complete it after making a few stupid mistakes on the 'Escape from the Pillar of Autumn before it's too late', those who has completed the game should be pretty familar with this, if not >>
your in the warthog and have to get to your destiny in time limits.
I found it quite annoying in parts where
my warthog squashed me after the big leap or sometimes I didn't make it or the jump after that which was unsuspecting for me at first!
In the end, the ending cut-scene wasn't great really, and Halo overall I admit was fun two player, but I think this game is highly overated and a rather short game. If I had put some more time and effort into this game on my own it wouldn't of taking me a few hours I reckon as you can't actually die you just go back to a save point, it's only the last part of the last level which you may struggle on if you are not sure on what to do. I'll definetely get the sequel anyway, lets just hope they make it longer. I may go and try legendary mode soon. :demon: First X-Box game completed. :box: Maybe I should start playing my others hmmm?
Tommy Vercetti
Hehe that level is pretty annoying i have to admit and well i haven't exactly completed the last level on Halo myself but my brother has. I am not sure whether DOA 3 has been completed because i have unlocked all the movies but i don't know whether that means you complete it or there are hidden characters to unlock. Bing
Well, I think I've finshed Tony Hawks 4, because I've got every single level and unlocked the Specific Challenges. The only thing you really get at the end are the skaters videos, but it's still rewarding!
iggy
I've beaten halo and splinter cell, halo took me a while though I was stuck on the last part for 3 weeks. Splinter cell only took me 5 days but I was playing it night and day without stop.
Bing
How hard did you find Splinter Cell, and did you use a walkthrough? It's a damn hard game if you ask me, one of the hardest I've ever played!
Ryan
I've completed a few on the Xbox. I play it all of the time. )Halo This was simple on Easy. But Legendary took a while. The extra scene was weird, but cool. )Spiderman Beat this in a few hours. Now I have beat it on all levels, Easy all the Way to Hero(I think that is the hardest.) And I can play as the Green Goblin. )Tony Hawk 2,3, and 4. Very fun games and I can stay playing for hours. So...addicting....:) )SSXTricky Funny. I love doing all of their special tricks and moves, especially Luther's Bull Riding. Hilarious. You can even see his butt crack when doing it. )Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance Have all characters, all hidden costumes, all videos, all Krypts opened up and have beaten it on all levels from easy to hard. Very hard to do!!!! )Panzer Dragoon Orta Well not yet, but I am on Episode 7, so close! Very fun game. I can't wait until I beat it! My hands are getting really tired so I am going to stop, but their are a few others. I suggest Halo and Panzer Dragoon Orta. The best!

BigCajones
Okay well I just finished Silent Hill 2: Inner Fears (not sure what the difference is between Inner Fears and Restless Dreams is???)! It's a really good game I recommend it, if you like that type of game! It was actually alot easier that I thought, I did it in around 5 hours and never died once. :D I'm not sure how I compare it to Resident Evil they're both extremely good games. Silent Hill 2 probably had more brainteasing puzzles, but Resident Evil is just simply harder. It says there is like four different endings so I'm sure I will be getting my moneys worth. I know how to do one of them easy, but the others there must be some secret way. The ending is too much of a spoiler to even put on spoiler tags really, so I won't bother with that, but I enjoyed it more than Halo. Halo's cut-scenes I thought were a bit pointless and had no plot to them what so ever, although I would be interested to see the extra scene people are talking about. Hmmm After trying to get the other endings I should really try and get into my other three X-Box games. P.S I'm definetely getting Silent Hill 3! :p
Bing
I finished Silent Hill 2 on the PS2 with my friend, it's not all that hard, I mean, the puzzles were strange and confusing, but I didn't find it tricky. It's also suprisingly short. Did you use a walkthrough? I find that defines the object of the game, but I can hardly talk. I'm a walking, talking Splinter Cell cheat! I still can't finish it though!
BigCajones
Erm, I used gamefaqs for a few of the puzzles, but the rest was pretty basic! What ending did you get? I need to get into some other games, I've hardly started Splinter Cell lol. It seems pretty hard!
Tommy Vercetti
I have only 2 levels left until i complete splinter cell and it is an amazingly hard game. I have used a walkthrough i admit but i didn't use one for every single level and sometimes i only used part of the walkthrough.
Bing
You should start to play it, it's damn hard though! I have forgotten what ending I got, I'm totally useless at remembering things! I have used the walkthrough on nearly every level. I finished Blade II with no help from anyone!
Tommy Vercetti
Well i prefer using walkthroughs rather than actual cheats to give you like all ammo and infinate health etc because those cheats can spoil the game quite alot and playing a game when you can't die is pretty pointless to be honest so i am going to now play games without using those cheats and maybe using a walkthrough once in a while i think. ( that was sort of topic so i'll just leave it and let it go back to games people have completed.
BigCajones
I try at first not to use anything (not even the manual lol) I just like to get into a game and play. I did do a big discussion on cheats, but for some obscure reason when I posted only a sentence actually came out, which was very weird (sorry for any problems this may of caused). Anyway yeah I try not to spoil a game with cheats or manuals unless they are well and truly needed! *skips to the point* Are you allowed to post about any game you have completed on a console if say its been released on the X-Box (basically multi-formatted)???
Bing
I hardly ever read manuals, unless I'm bored. I read the entire Splinter Cell manual for that reason! Most other games I can figure out really easily! I wouldn't put them into the 'Game spoiler' category though! Any game you want really, but not old easy ones, I want real challenges, what made you work to win if you get what I mean?
BigCajones
Erm, well I will only mention games that are on the X-Box or it will spoil the theme of this thread and I will be here for years otherwise! ^_^; I don't know every game that's multi-formatted and I can't remember every one that I completed, but I will give it a go: Minority Report- Only played for like two nights and was completed. Easy as hell, the cheats were really not needed for this game. Repetive, but enjoy action games like this (sounds abit like Blade II). Timesplitters 2- Only decided to play this game for first time a little while ago. I did it two player with a mate and then completed it when another mate came over. Awesome two player game! State of Emergency- This is going to be released, so I thought I would say this now. Pretty decent game, which I found you either love or hate this title. I found it fun and not too much of a struggle. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 2 and 3- I believe these two have been released on the X-Box along with THPS4, but I don't have that. Fun and there are always little extra things you can do on this game. The basic story mode is completed, but yeah cool games to have. James Bond 007: Nightfire- Well this was pretty easy, until the last level which I struggled on. Cut-scenes were pretty good on this and a not bad game, just too short! That's all I can think of right now, others that may of gone on the X-Box which I have completed are Dynasty Warriors 3 and BMX XXX. :)
Sere Tuscumbia
Heh. Games I've finished. Three . . . out of . . . well, three 1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (sissy bought it w/ the X-Box). Easy, but beating people up with a pool cue is really fun. Gigantic spiders is a downside though. Arena mode cheat is fun to play in. Finished in . . . a week or so*. 2. Dark Angel. Easy enough, although I got killed several times for fairly stupid reasons. Too much sneaking around involved for my tastes, but still, the whole sneaking up behind people and breaking their neck? Fun. Finished in a week and a half (or so)*. 3. BloodRayne. Ooo. Fun. Short-ish and easy enough. Being given the option to cheat is also fun. Disappointed at the shortness of it all, but all in all I liked the game. Still needs work with facial expressions, mainly eyes and eyebrows. Looked too fake. However,
the cutscenes after (and during, one after the other) Rayne kills Beliar and Wulf are pretty funny. A bit finger-happy, but cute. And in my opinion, Beliar looks like a teddy bear compared to some other demons I've seen.
Also, the
Daemites
were just nasty. And way too many sexual references for me. This is such a guy's game. However, have a sadistic streak, and you'll get a kick out of this game.
Also, possiblity of a sequel. Whee! ^_^
Finished in a week or so*. (*of playing. As usual, we people have other things to do, and cannot spend all of our time playing games. I'm just estimating the hours spent playing) --Sere
Bing
Bloodrayne isn't even released over here in the U.K. It's due in April. Is it first person, or third person style? It sounds cool, and other Vampire related games (Blade II, Buffy the Vampire Slater) have impressed me.
Tommy Vercetti
Well i have Minority Report on the xbox and i completed that in roughly 2 days but it wasn't constant play. It was an ok game in my oppinion but i thought it would have been better and all the enemies are basically the same and the bosses are that difficult. The hardest boss i probably found was taking on the craft thing on the roof.
Bing
Minority Report - Short, Repetive and Exaggerated violence. A fun game, but it's just not long enough is it! I could complete within a day, I might rent it for boredom, just to finish something. I think we should all start rating our games in a percentage i.e Legends of Wrestling II [blah blah blah] I give this 80%. O.k, just to get some more gamer based opinions on games!
SSJ Gotenks ok
Well i got my x-box a month ago and so far i have finished mgs:substance, dead to rights, blinx the time sweaper and jet set radio future. And i enjoyed every game except blinx at first it was fun but after a while it got real boring as for mgs:substance it was my favorite excellent game.:D
Bing
You want to rate those games then? I'd give Blinx 80% from what I've played on demos etc. although it seems a little too childish. I am glad you have high opinions of MGS Substance, because I spend £30 pounds on a copy, which is still yet to be delivered, and I want a good game!
