Plant_Angel Posted February 11, 2003 Share Posted February 11, 2003 Ok, Ive heard the reasons for assuming that Millie carries Wolfwoods baby, but what about Vash and Meryl? Those who havent seen up to episode 25 wont know what Im talking about here. At the end of episode 25, when Vash hugs Meryl, we are shown a very brief flashback of who im assuming is Vash, but not from a scene previously shown. Also when Meryl turns up for work she says "sorry im late, i didnt get much sleep last night" the day after they were looking at the stars together in a very romantic fashion. This is all speculation,it may all have been innocence, but how else can that oh-so-brief flashback be explained? I dont know the likelihood of anything happening, she could have just watched him sleeping, but it does seem strange. Or maybe its some one else? My head hurts! Any ideas? Meryl could have a thing for Vash, though, as it is hinted when she gets all red when she talks about Vash with Millie. Otherwise, I really think that the series focuses more around Woolfwood and Millie as a couple, but I do get the feeling that they try to make the audience root for Vash and Meryl getting together. As for that episode, I'm thinking that she may have just been up all night talking with Vash, since it appears as if he would never open up to her at that point in time. Best be sitting down, as I write as I think, and... I have no love for either [Vash or Meryl]. They are considered a couple though, but I find several parts of their relationship disturbing. First off, when Vash is getting his hair cut by Meryl, it flashes back to Lem cutting his hair, whom he loves deeply I'm sure, (no love for her either from me) and compares with Meryl. This is disturbing. Why? Lem is (more or less) Vash's friggin' MOTHER! Maybe I'm not as disturbed by Vash's relationship with Meryl as I am his relationship with Lem. Just glad I... I mean, Knives, killed her. Yeah. I'm going to sit in the corner now and think about what I just wrote. This considering Knives and me being the same person thing is getting me all freaked out. And for those who didn't read it yet, tell me whether or not I should preform the Trigun Rap at Otakon (big anime convention in Baltamore, and for cast players it's required that I preform.) And I'm also warned (by another otaku friend of mine who knows a lot more about this stuff than me, including trigun, yes it's possiple...) to stay away from Lem cast players who [u]really[/u] like me. I guess some things arn't meant to be directly answered but... Okay... whatever... Anyhoo... I have been getting better at singing my own rap. And since I'll be wearing the bad-assed black coat from Trigun Maximum with the railroad spike on both the chest and back and 3" nails on either side of the neck piece, I mine as well have a sign reading "GWOMP ME!!!" lol... That'll be the most interesting way Knives has ever killed someone... Until I get my hair cut I look like a little Nazi (5'7" blonde arian boy with short hair and blue eyes) so I may just keep the hairstyle afterwards. Until then, I do what I do best. I'm more of a chibi-Vash myself, little over 5 foot, long blonde hair and big blue eyes (and a girl so that helps the likeness heh heh).....I like to flatter myself. Anyways Ive not seen what Knives coat looks like, where are you gonna get that from? Do you read the manga untranslated? How I want those comics.....aaaaargh!
