I don't know if this has been announced already or not, but the I-Channel has finished up with Z and has started on GT. I've never seen it before last night, so I don't know how far into the series it is. The episode was about a big red robot being fought by Big Trunks and Little Goku, with Pan and numerous others trapped inside the robot. It was being controlled by some pink wrinkled weirdo. Goku and Pan destroyed it by simultaneously blasting it's "heart", Goku from the outside and Pan from within. There were also some weird blue guys singing into radio microphones, if that helps refresh your memory. At the end, Goku showed everyone the dragonball he got from the endeavor. So all subsequent episodes will start from there.

Does anyone feel like telling me how far along it is, & what I've missed? Briefly.

It airs for me at 10:30 Sunday nights, but it's probably different everywhere so check your local listings.

In Japanese with no subtitles.

Actually you're exactly 14 epps. in. I got 4 (apparently bootleg) GT Japanese videos with subtitles and you missed alot. (including stuff you could go without seeing.) Well, DBGT ani't too long so you'll see reruns.

......
.........
Oh so that's why CN's been doing that!!!

You just now noticed that iChannel is showing DBGT? They've been showing it for a couple of months, now (a "new" episode every week). As for the dozen or so episodes you've missed... you're just going to have to wait until you can buy FUNimation's bi-lingual DVD or when it comes on Cartoon Network.

When iChannel airs Dragonball, they air an episode on Wednesday, then only rerun it on the following Sunday. They've been doing this for as long as I've been watching DBZ on that channel (which was around the Trunks/Android Saga).

And it does seem like Cartoon Network has been purposely holding out on new episodes base on where the iChannel is. iChannel airs episodes weekly and CN daily.
Remember in the Buu saga when Ma-jin Vegeta sacrificed himself to kill Buu? Cartoon Network had finally caught up to the iChannel exactly on the episode when Vegeta dies. That's also exactly when CN decided to rerun the Great Saiyaman saga all over again. One more episode on CN and they would've gone past iChannel.

I've watched four subbed episodes (bootlegged off the net) and what you missed in those episodes was. Pilaf wishes Goku back as a kid using black star Dragonballs, which scatter across the universe instead of just on the planet the wish was made. Goku, Trunks and Goten get ready to fly into space to gather the Black Star Dragonballs.

Pan takes Goten's place on the ship by sneaking on board and taking off with only goku and Trunks on board.

The land on this wird, money hungry planet called Amiga and end up being wanted by Amiga's authorities for stealing.

oh, and a wacky robot eats the dragon radar :D

that's the main points of what I've seen.

Warning Some Spoilers

Your just getting close to Baby Saga but to fill you in the story goes like this 10 years have passed since the last episode of Dragon Ball Z. Ubuu (Reincarnation of Kid Buu) and Goku who's been training him for the last Ten Years decide to do battle to see which one is stronger, they hold the battle on Kami's (Dende's) look out. While this battle is going on Pilaf and his gang who are now in their 70's decide to climb into the Look out and Steal the Black Star Dragon Balls.

The Black Star Dragon Balls were made during the time Kami and Piccolo were still one, and their power is much greater then of any dragon balls known to date. Pilaf and his gang find the balls, and summon the Black Star Dragon during that time Goku whose ready to go back home to Chichi after Ten Years walks in on Pilaf. At that point they try to beat Goku but it doesn't work, Pilaf screams "I wish you were a little kid so we can take you out like the garbage you were!"

The Dragon hear's this grants it thinking its a wish and departs, Goku is turned back to a kid and goes back home aware but not disappointed about what's gone on. King Kai eventually informs Goku that the hunt for the Black Star Dragon Balls aren't that easy, unlike the earth's Dragon Balls that spread throughout the planet the black star balls spread througout the Galaxy and to top things off they only have one year to bring the black star balls back together or the earth will explode apparently this was because the Evil King Piccolo of DB put a curse on it.

So Bulma makes a ship, Pan sneaks on the Ship in a comedical scene, and then Goku, Pan, and Trunks head across many universes and planets to find the black star dragon balls before a years time. Each Episode from that point on puts them in comedical poorly scripted battles in which they find the dragon balls. Certain Planets they run into more troubles then others being mistaken as crooks and as people meantion a robot absorbs the Dragon Radar and becomes part of the cast called Giru. Eventually their journey takes them to the planet metal which most likely is where you are right now based on the episode description.

As for side questions Vegeta decided to stay on earth and not take part in the hunt along with the rest of the dbz crew.
