Life-forms have been detected on the island, but it is yet unknown what these new Pokemon are like. That is what the brave explorers are supposed to find out for the governments of Kanto and Johto. Rei: Look! There it is! It?s the P-p-p-p-promised Land! Hope, Shinobi, Kes, and Silvia: :therock: Um? right? whatever? Rei: Um, whoops. *giggles* Snap rolls his eyes. Joey sniffs the air, bewildered by the fact that his nose, while quite keen, doesn?t detect [i]anything[/i] familiar. Rei: Oh, wow! Solid g-g-ground! She runs down the ramp as soon as she can and flings herself into the sand. She starts trying to make a sand-angel. Twilight Tackles Joey, and the two get into a friendly round of WrestleMania on the beach. Psyche walks down the ramp slowly, head high, queen of all she sees? except that she refuses to associate with Joey. Blue waddles down after her and starts looking for shells, while MissiD characteristically vanishes into thin air. Blue: [i] Look! This one came from a Corsola! And this was on a Shellder! This is a great beach for shells![/i] Rei: Sorry, B-b-b-blue, we c-c-c-can?t look for shells around here forever. The g-g-g-g-g-government hired us t-t-to explore the world! And we?re g-g-g-g-going t-t-t-to learn so much! New P-p-p-pokemon, new p-p-p-plant life, new situations? Man, this is almost like the Swiss Family Robinson! A g-g-group of p-p-p-people, on an unexplored island, t-t-to survive on nothing b-b-b-b-but their wits! Psyche: [i] And the wits of their Pokemon.[/i] Rei: Yeah! Shinobi: Well, you can?t say she isn?t enthusiastic about it. MissiD: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Shinobi jumps, then realizes what scared him and pretends it was on purpose. Hope hides a slight smile. Rei: Missid-d-d-D! D-d-d-don?t scare Shinobi like that! You know what I t-t-t-t-told you b-b-before we c-c-c-c-came here! No scaring the other explorers! MissiD: [i] Awww, Rei. We just got here. Can?t we celebrate?[/i] Rei: We have a mission, and we must c-c-c-carry it out t-t-t-t-t-t-t-to the b-b-b-best of our abilities! We must explore this New World and see all the P-p-p-p-pokemon that inhabit it! Kes: Nice speech. Do you think we should get going? Rei: Yeee-haw! C-c-c-c-c?mon, T-t-t-t-twilight and Joey! Let?s g-g-g-go! The group starts hiking? Psyche: [i] Wait! I ?heard? something! Over there! Somebody?s stuck![/i] ----- Will: They?re here? See if you can?t flag them down, Treecko! Treecko: Treeck! TREEEEEEECKO! Treecko treck! ----- Rei: D-d-d-did you hear that? Joey: [i] Sounds like a Plant-type.[/i] Hope: A Plant-type! I?m ready! *holds Crunch tightly* Psyche: ESPEEE ESPEEEON! Rei: Say what Psyche? Psyche: [i] Sssshhhh. [/i] From far off: TREEEEECKO TREEECKO TREECK! Psyche: [i] It has a trainer. That stuck person is here. Didn?t the good Dr. tell us there was an explorer ahead of us on this island? Just a moment. I?ll call to it again.[/i] ESPEE ESPEEON ESPEE ESPEE ON! From far off: TREECKO TREECKO TREECK! Psyche: [i] The trainer fell in quicksand and sprained his ankle! Let?s go help him![/i] Rei: Q-q-q-q-q-q-quicksand! Oh, my. Shinobi: Let?s get down there and do something! Hope: Right behind you! Kes: Yeah! Silvia: You bet! They run over to where Will is. Rei: D-d-d-dear holy Mew! Elite 4 Will! My idol! *gets [i]look[/i] from the others and shrugs* Well, one of my idols, anyway. Shinobi: Don?t just sit there and babble, help him, for crying out loud! Hope: Yeah! Anybody here know how to prepare a splint for a broken leg? Will: It?s a sprained ankle. Kes: Ouch. That looks like it hurts. Psyche: [i] I can cook a meal, discern edible plants from the inedible, and keep Joey away from myself, but I know nothing in the medical business. (swears) Sorry. [/i] Rei: G-g-g-g-great. Our first c-c-c-c-catastrophe and nobody knows how to c-c-c-c-cope. Hope: Quiet. Now, I need some cloth or rope or something to tie his leg, and a very strong stick to keep it straight. Will: Would vines work? Treecko? Treecko: Treecko treck. *whips out a few vines* Hope: Like a charm. MissiD: EEEE! A stick falls out of a tree in front of Hope. The brave explorers look up to see MissiD shreiking, floating around, and generally causing mayhem in the treetops above. Hope: Thanks. *ties a splint on Will?s foot/leg* It?s usually good to have some knowledge of medicine and emergency procedures, just to be prepared for something like this. Will: I don?t think we?ll get very far on our exploration. I know I can?t walk like this. Kes: You can?t walk, but I bet you can still ride! Go, Rapidash! A black Rapidash appears and whinnies, but lets Will sit on its back. Will: Thank you. Where should we go? Joey: [i] Listen![/i] Rei: Sounds like a little P-p-p-p-pokemon squeaking! Let?s g-g-g-g-go see! They sneak over to a nearby clearing, Kes?s Rapidash being surprisingly quiet when she tells it to. There are several small Pokemon in the clearing. Rei: Oh, how c-c-cute! They look like little b-b-bunnies! Will: Yes, the government gave me and my brother a Treecko in agreement to work on the pokedex. Treecko is one of their newest dicoveries and the start of the new pokedex. Rei: The g-g-government told m-m-me to look for new p-p-pokemon, but they d-d-d-didn't give me a T-t-treecko. Will: They only found two. Treecko, please pass me my notepad. Treecko: Tree tree! Will: Since you found them first, what would you like to name them? Rei: U-u-um, Suphtie! Shinobi: You mean if we find them, then we name them? Will: As thanks from helping me out yes. Shinobi: Easy. Lure them into it. Come here, pokemon, come here... *gets close to it, then suddenly lightly pops it with the pokeball, activating the captureing mechanism* Yes. Hi, Suphie. IC: Kes watched the others as they exitely ran around, or rode, trying to find their own new types of pokemon. She felt slightly silly by not showing any real signs of wonder but her mind was more set on learning about the new pokemon. Keni had gone back into his :ball: and Dancer was running around her feet. Dancer liked being out and about and would often scout a little way ahead, for new pokemon and also to keep an eye on her new friend Wiggletuff. Kes was quite happy that she was in a group, she hadn't been in a group for a very long time and it was somewhat lonely. Racer (rapidash) turned and looked at her and indercated that Dancer had discovered something. With a grin, Kes stepped slightly ahead of the group and came across Dancer looking down a large guarge. Dancer: Vulpix ~_~? Kes: Wow, this place is massive. And by the looks of things it has been split up into different sectors. Hope: What do you mean? Kes: Simple, we're in a jungle part now so you'd expect to find bug and grass type pokemon, with the occassional bird types as well. Over to the east is a wide rocky area that has volcanoe's and rivers of fire, a perfect place for rock and fire types. The south is flat plains and scattered forests where you'd expect to find normal types and birds, and a few stray types as well. And over in the west is lakes and ice regions... Rei: where water and ice p-p-p-pokemon will be Kes: *smiles* yes, I think this is going to be one adventure. ooc: sorry about the description if I got it wrong, but I'm just letting my imagination run away with me. So lets walk slower The rapidash noded and slowed down to make the ride not so bumpy. Wigglytuff bounced around and her foot began to sink but shes light enough she was able to move out of the way easily. She bounced and screeched and pointed out the perimiter of the hole of quicksand.... everyone went around it in a single file line. Wigglytuff tried to shake off the gooyish sandish mixture but instead just wiped it off in some grass as she hopped around... Hope: Nicewiggly tuff... Oh and in the forests.. .when its dark im sure we can run into some DARK type pokemon... seeing how you can find them in dark places OR in warm places and a jungle.. is dark ... .and warm well near ice pokemon area you can find dark/ice types im sure... lets keep an eye out. . . Hope then shuts up and keeps walking. . . She looks around carefully... to keep an eye out on their backs and up in front.. hope was in the back of the line next to rapidash who was carrying will. The pokemon looks like a huge giraffe, but has 2 arms comingf out of it's neck. It looks like an evolved form of Girraferig. ???: Cyclo!!! Cyclonic!! nic nic!! (Psy-Clone-ic) Then, suddenly another pokemon comes chasing after it. It looks kinda like a crocodile, but bigger. ???: Cronicle, Cronicle! Hope: Easy. . . Hope: Someone get thsoe out a here.... before will gets more hurt then he needs to be... Hope backs rapidash up farther back from the disturbance Rapidash finaly calmed down and hope sighed. She saw a flash behind her... it was tiny but.... it was something hope wandered on after it. . . Frankie Posted February 22, 2003 Share Posted February 22, 2003 Hope slowly walked ofter this tiny little crature.... it was small and furry... she had No idea what it was though.. It finaly stoped and turned around it was only about a foot and a half tall. It was silver and cute. It looked like a tiny fox. Hope: You... oddly resemble. . ... hmm Just then she heard a crash and she turned around to see a really ticked off scyther had cut a tree behind her down... the little fox thingy leaped backwards and let out a squeek. Hope: Oh jeeze there are saposed to be New pokemon here not ones i have seen.. .sheeeshh... well whatever.... SC....oh i have him in the pc... .and flare is back there... AH... ok BOLT... raichu came out and looked at the scyther...and shook its head... Its cheeks sparked and it dug a foot into the ground... Raichu reached both little paw like arms into the air as a huge thunderbolt came from himself to the scyther. the scyther electrified for a while and then looked at hope shook its head and weakly flew off. Hope: What was his problem... Hope returned raichu and looked back at the little scared to death pokemon. It looked at her.. and noticed the scyther was gone.. it got a happy look on its face and ran in tiny circles Hope: Energetic...better get back . . She began to walk the other direction and the little foxy thing followed her.... hope tried to shoo it... but it leaped onto her head instead... Hope was surprised at this and shurgged. She walked back the the group to see that Shinobi caught one of the 2... and houndoom was working the otherone over. Hope walked up next to rapidash and will. Will: WOAH.. whats that thing Hope: Oh this thing on my head.. Will: Nooo .... YES of coruse the thing on your head Hope: Oh.. heh... im not sure what ti is.. i followed it cause i wanted to knwo what it was. And a scyther was jsut randomly cutting down trees... before the scyther turned me into minced meat i scared it off with my raichus thunderbolt... ever since this things followed me...... Will: Well i guess it likes you Hope looks up at the little fox that was now on her shoulder just... as comfy as it could be.. The pokeball captures it, and it shakes once, twice, 3 times, Shinobi: Cuaght! Now, it's time to put them into the Exploration box on my pc... She lightly bonked the pokemon on the head with it and the little pokemon sucked on in. It shook a few times then it was caught. Hope: That was easy.. now what the heck is it.... Hope let it out again and it finaly spoke Fox: KI... KI... KILUNE KILUNE Hope: Well... lets see will.. will blinked.. Will: Oh right.. he pulled out hte pokedex Will: Kilune =Tiny Fox pokemon. Various Ice And Fire attacks. They usualy live in warm humid places. But once in a while you can find them frolicing through the snow in cold wintery areas. Hope: Never head of a kilune before... They are never found in groups and prefer to be singles for they are extra territorial. When a kilune gets the scent of another they either run or search for it to battle to show whos boss. These territorial pokemon may be small but they are quite powerful when provoked. Hope: Well interesting that stupid think talks when we are even asking it soemthing Will: Like i said its new and improved Hope:" I guess... Shinobi: still it can pick up scents right Hope: You need to do it the fair way.. .fidn them on your own.. not get soemone elses pokemon to leat you to others... Let me go! : Who are you? Shinobi: We are trainers with special permission to enter this island. : :eek: I see. My greatest apoligies. Allow me 2 introduce myself. I am Max Aer. I'm also a trainer sent here. Right now I am protecting this area in case of intruders. Hope: Intruders? Max: Yeah, there have been robbers of some sort coming in and hurting all the flying pokemon in this area. Shinobi: Well, its probably trainers just capturing pokemon. Max: That's what I thought at first too. But, none of them have been captured... just severly injured. Hope: How dare they! Max: Will you help me? Will: Of course! Max: Thank you very much.
