Gaming Poll: What do you think of the X-Box???

I was really just trying to show that there is many exclusives. Well it depends what you are into really, because some games I will like more than others. Yeah, what is so good aout Halo?? It wasn't amazingly good. Well there aren't that many 3-4 player games on the PS2(only a select amount of fighting games). The PS2 doesn't have lots of those games like Mario Party.

Anyway, the amount of games out on the xbox now is pathetic(preparing for outcries of disagreement). I think that it will change as we move further into 2003...hopefully. The main reason why i didn't get it was because Microsoft hasn't established itself in the console industry. That's why i turned to the PS2, well known company, great games, lots of fun.

WAHOOO!!!that's my 100th post, finally. Only another 150 to go until i'm a junior member, hehehe.:)

[color=limegreen]A more likely case is that the PS2 was out before the X-Box! ;) Yeah so the PS2 has more games and I agree there is a better variety, but that will soon change during 2003 I reckon both GC and X-Box will catch up with a wider vocabulary of games and maybe to a higher standard where the X-Box is concerned. :smirk:

I think Bill Gates knows what he's doing and he really is trying if you know how many dollars he has spent on this chunky box system (Xbox had a poor start though I admit)! You can't really say Nintendo and Microsoft aren't well known companies, because they are along with Sony. The PS2 does really rule for the period of time it was released and it's still competing, but that's where the PS2 got/gets its sales from:
1) It had been out for 2 years, so people couldn't wait for the other consoles
2) Now it's still getting many sales due to its game selection
3) Friends have it and millions of other people have it so people automatically think it must be the best console, which I'm really trying to disagree on as they all have their own potential areas! :D

I like the xbox and PS2 more or less the same i mean the PS2 is a very popular console and has been out for several years now but the xbox is doing very well as a newcomer in 2002 and with the vast amount of new games coming out in 2003 i think it will start to gain more respect by people and become a cool and popular console i son't know whether it will beat the PS2 in popularity but you never know something could happen.

[size=1][color=darkblue]At Christmas, I had the choice between all 3 of the leading consoles. I shose X Box because of it's power, it's price, and the fact that it's got 4 controller ports. PS2 only had 2, which I still find dissappointing, especially as they charge you to buy a multitap. Let's face it, the PS2 is going to be popular for a long time, until the PS3 is released, mainly becuase of games like GTA being exclusive to them (well, excusing PC's here).
Just one last point, many X Box exclusives go to the PC, because they are made by Microsoft, a huge PC corporation, so console wise, they are still exclusive.[/color][/size]

[color=seagreen]Just to state anyone who dislikes the Xbox because of its size then I would like to say that Microsoft are rumoured to be unleashing s brand new mini Xbox at E3 2003. It should be about half the size, so there shouldn't be anymore complaints about the console's size anymore. Hopefully microsoft do something else with this console like different colours or Xbox Live already included.
