had a fe Qs earlier today, lets C how many i remember

* when Goku and Pikkhan (forgot how to spell it) first meet, Goku sees Pikkhan beat Cell and Freiza and King Cold with ease, where Goku had just struggled to compete with Cell. Then when Goku and Pikkhan battle, it's fairly even. That doesnt make sense to me.

* how does Goku SSJ3 fair against Kid Buu? Thats tomorrows epps over here, so a spoiler request

i did have about 2 other Qs where they didnt make sense, kinda like the first one in this, but i've forgotten them

let me see if i remember cuz its been a while since i saw dbz, but i think that pikkhan taking out cell and friends was b4 the tourny, and in all that time goku trained extremely hard seeing comp in pikkhan...if it happened after tourny then it was a blooper ^_^

[color=red]Keep in mind that Goku held back his true power for the first half of that storyline. Pikhaun was a lot like Piccolo, in that his biggest asset was speed and techniques. Once Goku went SSJ, Pikhaun also suffered similar problems.

Also, Since Goku is a saiyan, when he died wouldn't that make him stronger since he got to keep his body and all. I know that when saiyans are in a near fatal fight and they recover then they are alot stronger and more powerful. Oh, and by the way I think that it is spelled Pikkon.

no i dont think goku got stronger from death cuz sayajins only get stronger when they are fully recovered from near death, in this case goku died so he never recovered

You can spell the names many ways. The dub way is Pikkon. The non dub way that i have seen is paikuhan.

I think that it was just in the storyline to have goku be about even with him.I mean, why shouldn't he be if he hit the finals?I also think that because paikuhan beat and furiza in hell was due to the fact that he had the element of surprise....he did kind of appear out of nowhere.

SSJ_WILLIE is probably correct. Gokou's body was destroyed and regenerated in Heaven, so he would most likely accumulate considerable strength.

Plus, we must take into account the fact that the tournament lasted seven years. During that seven years Gokou probably fought more battles than what were actually shown in the series. Plus, he probably trained between bouts.

Also, it should be noted tha Paikuhan was probably slightly stronger than Gokou during the match. It was Gokou's ability to sense a flaw in his opponent's fighting technique that allowed him to "win."

[COLOR=red]It had been some time after Gokou had fought Cell and Frieza. Frieza wasn't much of a match for him anymore, but Cell was still hard. He got some training, if I am correct, plus a little battling before that. Pkhaun was much stronger than he expected, but he was still not as strong as Gokou could be at that time. Gokou didn't try much to defeat them, and he restrained himself from going Super-Saiyi-jin. There are a lot of answeres to this guestion.

Well according to the Grand Kia, didn't both of them loose, beacuse they touched the ceiling. Although I now it was a ploy by the Grand Kia I just thought it necessary to make sure. But Goku did win....

But did the series say for how long Goku trained before the Tourney. It looked to me that right after he came to other world that they went straight to the Tourney in order to try and fight! I thought that the Tourney came right after Cell's defeat and that Goku trained for several years after it!

As you probably know, Gokou was in the afterlife for seven years. It's not clear exactly how long he trained after, before, or during it. I'm just assuming that he had to train somewhat before his final match in order to gain enough strength to defeat Paikuhan. After all, if there were any opponents not shown in the series, they couldn't have been too challenging. He never had to go Super Saiya-jin until his fight with Paikuhan.
