what are some of the things that make you happy? im talking about the little things that you normally dont think about... stuff like how happy your dog is to see you when you come home or when somoebody you dont know says "hi" to you.

if you want, give a story or something.

some of the little things that make me smile.

*when my Tori has had an exciting day and acts really goofy on the phone.
*when people dont treat me like a criminal or a terrorist, but are kind to me, regardless of how i act or dress.
*seeing genuine appreciation for an act of kindness.

Hmm...little things, eh?

Well, I know this one is going to sound strange, but sunshine makes me happy when I'm feeling a bit down. It's just so warm and inviting and it's like it's just washing away all of those sad feelings. That's why I am happy that spring time is coming. More sunshine! Then summer, whoohoo! ^_^

I also like it when I can make people laugh or smile. I act so stupid sometimes, but I think that it's usually so people will laugh. I love to laugh myself, so I want to share that feeling with others.

I like things that amuse me. I am so easily amused.

Peace and Quiet. Despite how alone I am a majority of the time, I rarely ever get this. It is even better if you have someone to enjoy it with.

Company. Just one person will do. I do not ask for much. Just so I know that I still exist.

Feeding the geese down at this pond thingy downtown. I actually prefer to throw the bread at them, and try to get it to stay on their backs. So they have to twist their nekcs around a bit in order to get it. I also like feeding the little ones, because the big ones are mean.

The feeling of freedom and adventure that you get when roaming through woods. No boundaries. No rules. Well, there are boundaries if the woods are in a park, but like I am going to heed the warning of a barbed wire fence.

The rush of being in a mosh pit. No better way to judge whether or not you are alive. ;)

This is what I can think of thus far. At a cast party for a play, this one girl plays a bit a of guitar and had a little "campfire"-like song called "Little Things". Of course, we then took that tune and made of quick little verses about marijuana... >> It was pretty funny. ^^ People said I had the best one.

Solitude: *sigh* Blessed solitude, peace, and quiet....I love being by myself....

Reading: I always feel happy when I'm reading a good fantasy book, even if it is a little sad.

Drawing: I love drawing because it's really calming.

Outdoors: I just love being outdoors, and it's even better when you're alone. You can think about things and have fun at the same time.

Meh, those are just a few of the things that make me happy. ^__^

Rain- Its soothing, and it makes me happier. From a light pitter patter, to the thunderous violent nature of the wrathful supercell Texas storms, it makes me feel happy to just hear the rain.

Good Food- Self explanatory.

A good commercial- They interject a good show, the really funny/well thought out ones make me sort of glad someone makes good Ads, since they are everywhere.

A Good Heavy Metal Guitar Bridge Into the Ending of the Song- Good ****.

Honestly, nothing makes me feel better than to sit and think for a little while. Just the stopping of everything and you can actually hear your own heartbeat.

Stereotypically, however, seeing a small animal's body slowly shutting down is always fun. It's just so sadistic to see the furry little darling settle down, watching the breathing slow, and that final shudder.

I like to stand in the rain sometimes. That kind that just comes down, not too soft, not too hard. It's just always so relaxing.

Darkness is a plus. Sometimes, when it's raining outside, I'll go in my room and close everything off.

I also love boxing. While it works my body up, I get rid of all the rage that's always installed into the fiber of my being.

But most of all, I like to chill with friends. That seems the best of all.

This has been mentioned...but I love thunderstorms.

One of the coolest experiences of my life was walking down to the lake at night--we lived only a few blocks away--because I saw weird lights in the east.

When I got to the lake, there was this huge thunderstorm out in the middle of Lake Michigan, with orange lightning that would light up the clouds a few miles out, and fade away, and light up again...I just stood there, watching, for about twenty minutes.

It wasn't raining by me, but the night tasted of thunderstorms, and the air was warm, with a cool wind coming off the lake--I was on a hill, and could look down across the water, and up into the sky and see for what seemed like the longest time.

It was simply incredible. I'll never forget it.

Hmm... *thinks*

Rain: For some reason, whenever it starts raining, I start laughing. o.o; But it makes me happy though. ^_^; I always get a little hyper whenever it does. Whenever it stops raining when it's gym class, I start glaring and yelling at the clouds. o.o;

Crazy Cousin: Celia's always acting goofy. ^^ It especially makes me laugh whenever she tries to pronounce that Celeschi...something name. Also, it's funny when she yells at her locker when she can't open it. ^-^

E-mails: Seeing how I don't use my e-mails often, It makes me really glad to find an e-mail in my inbox every once in a while. ^^ That always cheers me up.^^

Candies, Cookies: eee... ^ .^

Talking with Friends: It's always nice talking to a friend, or someone new. ^^ I always love talking to people, since I always enjoy company, and it cheers me up lots. ^^

Libraries, Quiet rooms: For some reason, I start laughing when it's really quiet too. o.o; (Don't Ask).

I like um..

Daydreaming
Not like when I'm bored in class or anything. The kind when you're say, just listening to something real calm, and you just lose yourself. I like them :)

Milk chocolate
It has to be milk chocolate! It really does just make me smile. Nothing else to it.

Baby sister
She's so small for a two year old. O_o
And she's funny and cheeky too.
Everything she does makes me smile. Except when she wants to listen to the Hamtaro them tune again and again. o.-;

I think they're the three main ones in a long list that'd take too long to go all the way through
Yes. :)

Ah, how could I have forgotten. Rain/Thunderstorms is/are a beautiful thing. Though, more specifically:

The calm before the storm. While the storm itself is truly amazing, there is just a relaxing feeling of being outside not long before it starts. You know it is going to happen. The warm, moist air is incredible, and when you see that first flash of lightning in the distance and hear the first roll of thunder as is comes by; that is one of the best feelings in the world. It is almost as if you were a part of it. Like it could not have happened without you there. You were, at least one time in your life, part of something bigger; omnipotent, even.

I really enjoy that.

Dude! You Rock!!!

I was gonna start a thread on exactly the same subject..

In my particular area today it's been really sunny.. The kind of sunny that isn't really burning hot.. and the kind of sunlight that makes everything look really nice, even things that don't otherwise.. and that really cheered me up. Not that I needed cheering up, I was already in a damn good mood anyway, but I was gonna start a topic like this because of it, and now I don't have to, so yeah ;) cheers dude

The rush of being in crowd at a concert. It just feels so unreal, especially when this one person and you find each other in the crowd and you just mosh together. You don't know each other and the whole time you usually don't speak.

When my dogs run up to me just happy to see me.

When someone says they like you just for who you are. Someone you don't know.

But maybe my favorite is lying on the cold grass an night and staring up at the stars. Even if it is hazy you still get to see the clouds swim past the moon. Lying around and looking at the sky at twilight rules too.
