He has every right to post this, considering the fact that that the other topic isn't even on the first page. ;) Right there in the rules you two seem to know all too well. Anywho...I think the song is all right. I usually go through a phase when I hear a song I really like, I listen to it nonstop. But after listening to it afterwards....it got a bit old. I still like them but not as much. Some of there other songs are good as well. :D Edit: (Just couldn't resist) El S.A. person But yet, he didn't truly break any rule. They make it seem like he/she did. That is why I posted the wording of the rule. ^_^;;
Semjaza
It's halfway down the second page, thus it's open for discussion in a new thread. This has been said many times before. And a couple times here now :D Anyway, I'm going to delete my first post and add to it some more. This is a sad, sad world. A group with nothing to it other than sexual imagery, horrible lyrics and decent beats (which isn't exactly hard to do anymore) is getting about 32534635 times more attention than it ever deserves to. Meanwhile, great bands with actual talent fall to the wayside. No wonder the music industry is as crappy as it is now.
Manic Webb
True, "All The Things She Said" is catchy. Of course, so is "The Ketchup Song." That doesn't make it good. It just makes it easy to remember. "All the things she said... running through my head... it is not enough." That's way too easy.
GinnyLyn
Just saw the season finale to something called "Birds of Prey" (a continuation of the Batman series?), and heard this group during the "climatic" battle. Catchy beat, but I couldn't hear much of the words. According to you guys, it's a good thing I didn't. :whoops:
Transtic Nerve
I really think that since the link to the other topic was posted here, there's no need for this one. But, you've already all posted in it and it's be just dumb to delete it now. But for future refrence, if a link to the equivalent topic is posted, please don't post in the recreated one. As far as tatu goes... as said earlier, the lyrics are horrible but the music is good, wheteher it's easy to create or not. i like the music, the lyrics are crappy, but the voice is good. I do also agree that this type of music is odd and not exactly what i'd call anything great, but it's appealing. At least it's not crappy boys who can't sing or write their own lyrics and music making millions. These girls are for real. They represent the reality in music and not this fake wall that we have in America where rappers "keep it real" and britney can "sing"... it's all fake here. I liek to here crappy lyrics and simple beats. Makes me realize they do what they do and do it bad lol. I do expect to se any real talent come out of America in the near future. Not even American Idol can do that.
Manic Webb
ugh. Rappers keeping it real and Britney Spears singing. Could it be any more of an oxymoron? I agree with TN. These girls may not be the best at what they do, but at least they're actually trying. I'm watching "Birds of Prey" right now and the song actually fits pretty well for the climactic fight scene. Still, I don't like the song enough to buy the album or anything.
Transtic Nerve
lol I thought about it for a second and then I decided to just download the album for lack of anything better to do. It can't hurt after all. lol
liamc2
*snorts* This is helluva funny. Mainly because I object to that sort of thing, now don't get me wrong, I'm not ranting about lesbians and saying their morally corrupt. I object to alll the stupid sexual innuendoes in music clips. Going straight to child pornography though is just plain sick.. Bah. Semjaza
Um. You did realize that there is another thread on this on this page right?
Guest cloricus
Semjaza Azazel use your eyes. This one was created a while ago and was the original and I believe TN has pointed that out in that other thread. As for Liam... Yeah I agree in most cases yeah I think it's sad. Then again it?s freedom of expression and all that. So really apart from what I said in my earlier post, I don't care!
Lady Macaiodh
I read the other thread too & I had to add something. Yulia just turned 18 & she's the youngest, so nobody can really say anything about child pornography. They're just kissing, for god's sake. If that's the standard, practically every TV show in the world is porn. The part that disgusts me is that I read on their message boards that Bush is trying to ban Tatu totally in the US, not just the video. You'd think with the impending war & all, he'd have better things to do with his time that worrying about 2 girls in Catholic school outfits kissing. Another example of his incessant need to cater to the extreme right. I'm pretty impressed that Tatu'd be so blatant about it. I personally haven't seen a video like that before, really. Others just sort of hint at it. & having the public gather around the fence in shock & fascination sort of said to me: "So, yeah, we're lesbians. What's the big deal." They didn't really notice people staring. I think the video is passionate & the arrangement helps you get into the song. I heard to song before I saw it, & thought it was good. It made me want to dance. & I love their voices & how they harmonize. Those girls can really sing.

Right now my brother is having one of those phases where he listens to All the Things She Said. He will be out of it within a week. I downloaded a few of their other songs, and they were all right. But their best song is All the Things She Said.
p3rfuk3ed
I perssonally like there music video, Whats wrong with them running around in the rain kissing each other?. Nothing that i see wrong but that is just my opinon. I dont know, i actully like there music and the video.
JCBaggee
Haven't seen the video, but I've heard "All The Things She Said" (or is it he...?). Pretty nice, but I'm not big into that type of music. It's bearable though. --Chris

There was a thread just created on the subject on the main page that was active (hell, it was the first thing on the page and if you didn't notice TN knew about it), and instead he posts in the one that no one has in weeks that's on the second page? Give me a break. I don't know when you came in, but what I said was valid. Hardly my problem, and I'm rather tired of your attitude towards my posts in general.
I think that?s because he is heavily religious and you know how religious people are around these things... Semjaza Azazel, so you think I'm out to get you now? Get a life, I respect you as a mod and have nothing against your posts but if you say things like this I might have to change my mind.
Transtic Nerve
I took the liberty of merging the two threads for lack of anything else to do. So it's going to look confusing. But at least you all can't argue over which thread is the right one to post in :p. lol. I hould have just done this before... didn't think about it. Guest cloricus
Hehe, Liam my view is religious people shouldn't have a say in the way un-religious people act. The same way un-religious people should not have a say in the way religious people act.
Cora Jane 2
I like their music... I think the Russian is cool. I guess I find interest in the little things such as language... lol... I love to sing in Russian... although it is tedious, it is very beautiful.
SuperMuffin
I think people are partly uncomfortable with this on the one fact that they are lesbians. There are tons of other videos that have two people making out. I don't think it should matter what their sexuality is. They are human and humans kiss. If it was any other video with two people making out, very few people would have a problem with it. Unless you are against all making out, I don't think some of you should judge them that harshly. I'm not saying I like the band or anything, but some of your comments are projecting your lislike for lesbians. I don't think that is right.
Celia
I heard the song on TV a couple of days ago... and their voice are pretty good!. It's not right to ban them, they are great singers!
Fall
Who cares if they're lesbians, they've got a few great songs out. Especially that 'All The Things She Said' one... The video clip rocks too but forget that. I'd like to know how Bush plans to ban them entirely out of the US. How would it work?
Juu
But if he's the one who decides to ban them, isn't that alot like a dictatorship? I mean, this is a free country, and people should actually vote whether to ban them or not, or... something. oO; Anyway, I also like the russian version of the song. Their voices sound somewhat better in that song in my opinion. ^_^;
JCBaggee
Ah, here's that thread. I finally caught the music video and...uhm...wow. It's not that bad, but it's kinda...weird, I guess... --Chris
