The Ol' Repeated Cycle

I don't want to be the creator of another depressing thread, but does anyone else feel like me...
I wake up on weekdays, go into school, get home, do homework, go on computer, watch television, and fall asleep. It all just repeats, until the weekend, where there is little variety in my schedule, sometimes I just waste my free time on the computer, or playing on my X Box, or on my guitar.
I am on my half term break, so I guess I can do some exciting stuff, but does anyone else feel that there life is a basic repeat?

Life can repeat, and life can take some un-expected turns.

Life is like that. Sometimes you'll be in a stretch of nothingness. Where nothing is happening. There is no excitement in your life and you're basically repeating yourself.

Then there is the time when everything is happening. Where it seems life is passing you by. Where everything is happening at one time, and possibly is over whelming.

THen there is also the middle. The time where things occur, but you still have time for yourself. The time to relax and recouperate (sp?).

I personally think we as humans need all three. I may be wrong. Right now I'm on the third one. I have a busy life right now, but I'm able to relax, calm down, and do something un-expected.

Also if you are on the first one and you want to change it, you have the choice. I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again. Do something random. I mean do something you've always wanted to do but never have. It could be as simple as getting up at 2 o'clock in the morning and taking a brisk jog.

I did that and it helped me alot. I mean there is all sorts of things you can do, its just up to you to do them.

There is lots of repition in life, but you have to make the best of the time you have...look forward to the little things, like video games and lounging around. The older I get, the more I enjoy just sitting and reading, lounging outside on a sunny day, or strumming my guitar late at night. I guess you just have to live your life and hope you can find enjoyment both inside and outside the repetition.

It has gotten to the point where I honestly cannot tell one day from the next without looking at a calendar. Even then, there is no real change.

I would not say my life repeats, because that means it actually starts over somewhere. It just stays the same. There has been no end to it yet.

I've been living in a whirlwind of excitement & insane commotion for years. Boy, am I tired. Now that it's settled down, I'm just looking forward to some peace & quiet.

Be careful what you wish for. At this point, I'd rather things be boring.

Think about it like this: things could be a lot worse!

I'm pretty sure that Weh made a topic similar to this in the past. So, it's safe to say that you're not alone.

People have been haunted by boredom forever. I've read old works where the underlying message is that people work solely to avoid boredom, vice, and poverty.

Anyway, I've grown tired of doing the same old routine day after day--carrying out the same motions over and over again. But, I think that those days of security are the days I'll miss the most. Right now, I can't wait to finish college, but I know I'll be scared to death when I graduate. The mere thought of choosing a permanent career and settling down is a little overwhelming for me.

So, yeah, right now you're in the preparation stage of your life. I'll bet that someday you'll find that there weren't enough of these days.

I assume everyone at one point in there life has a cycle that repeats certain things will always become part of your daily life.

When your young, it's go to school, come home, homework, tv, sleep, and repeat.

As you grow older you'll realize your still going to have a smiliar schedule just with additions like: work, sleep, bills, kids, wife/husband, sleep, and repeat.

Repetition is part of life, there's nothing we can do really to change it. That's why it's very important to enjoy your teenage years while you still can. Trust me this is the voice of experience talking. ;)

*groans and dies* Boy, do I know the rigour of routine. It's death. Even on an 11 day timetable, I'm still sick of it. To make it wose, 5 days I go Maths then Chem, or Chem then Maths. It's wouldn't be that bad, if Maths weren't so boring! I, however, feel sorry for the borders. Their entire day is planned.

Yes, I feel exactly how you do A_B. I literaly do the same thing every day.

I go to sleep at the same time, I wake up at the same time, and I everything else in between is the same damn thing. That used to bug me allot, but I would rather relax and enjoy life rather than ponder my existence. o_O;;

My life is pretty much the same as yours right now Alexus. Repetive and boring until weekends or holidays. I think we should live are teenage years and enjoy them while we can, but my parents really want me to do well in my GCSEs, so they make sure I do homework and coursework to the best of my ability (which I usually don't do as I'm distracted by the internet, T.V, music and the phone lol  ). I'm greatful that my parents care so much about my life and in the long term I suppose it is for the best if I want a good job, but I want some FUN!!!

Life is very unfair at times ... *does some more coursework* :(

I wake up at exactly the same time on weekdays, catch the bus at around the same time, go to school at around the same time. I do basically the same I do every day at school. Sit, eat, fall asleep, talk, run, flirt...pfft. All the damn same. When I get home, I talk on the phone and go to sleep. Couldn't give a stuff about homework, they don't care anyway.

Well guys, Half term forme is nearly over, and I'm still doing my coursework. I've got a lot more than some of my friends, because I took Art and Graphics, which are both very....'busy' subjects. I managed to escape my trend this week, by having lazy morning, and doing different stuff, and I'm hoping it won't all return when I get back to school.
Hey, That's Life....

Well my friends and i always do something on saturdays, like go and play football. I do notice the repeating cycle but i just think to myself "it will be over in a few days". Then the weekend comes, the cycle is broken....it isn't that bad.

My life is a pretty normal routine like cajones and bing's but i usually can't remember what has happened during my day because i get very tired as i wake up at 6:00 am usually every morning but sometimes my routine of life does make me feel bored but i usually make it more fun by playing computer games, going on the internet and chatting to my friends.
