Sui Generis
Ok I know this is gonna be an odd question. On the PM's is there anyway to possibly say that you can't send two PM's in 60 seconds to the same person. I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I can type two decently long PM's (Atleast 60 words) in a minute, and its very annoying to have to sit there an wait. I know its pretty trivial, and probably its not that big of a deal, but is that possible?
Semjaza
Things like that are enabled because it prevents flooding. It's generally used just for posting, but it would be possible for some idiot to come here and flood a bunch of PM boxes really fast if it wasn't on. There is no way for anyone but an admin to change that, and if it was changed it would affect everyone. I guess you'll just have to be patient :D
James
Semjaza is right; we have these controls in place to prevent flooding. If you had your inbox flooded by someone, you'd be happy that we kept the flood controls in place. ~_^
Kinetic
I remember in V2 when there was so much spam that the controls were put in place. "Back in the day," when Will2x got his posts deleted and there was that whole battle, and when everytime you posted a topic, within 10 minutes, there were 20 or more replies.
