The Harlequin
Just allow me to say, having just experienced two days with nothing but military ration packs for food, the idea that if we knew what we were eating, we wouldn't eat as much is a certainty in that regard. Believe me, not pretty.
Guest cloricus
Harlequin you weren't on 2nd years last year at week camp... Damn first years were feed by sirco... We had to live of rats for a week!!! A WEEK I TELL YOU! Do you have any idea how bad that is! I can't believe we ate that army S***! AHHHH!!!! Any way just make biv stew, it?s all good. So don?t you talk about bad tasting food. [Added]Just for all you people who say you wouldn't eat another and that any one that does is sick I'll repost this.
Cloricus In that situation firstly you would try and find your own food, depending on the circumstances you may try to find your own way out of the desert or you would wait. This is what nearly all of you would do no matter what you think right now. Morals go out the window. If you are an ******* who doesn't care about any one but yourself you will kill one of the others and eat them. If you value your friends the group would wait until one died, then eat him or her. (This is under the condition that it has been about a week to two and a half weeks since you have eaten. By that stage nearly every one of your values is replaced by instincts, though your moral values return once you come safely back to civilisation.) So really it?s not your choice. The only choice you have in the matter is to die first or live.
All I'm really saying is that people in these case that is the topic have no choice in the matter, their brains have taken over and their thoughts are no longer in their full or any control. And how dare you people call some one sick when they have eaten a dead person to save them selves, you would do the same in their situation.
Hinata
Originally posted by Jesus Chicken Yeah, you're exactly right. Generally the people who commit cannibibalism are damn sick. It doesn't justify their position, but it also doesn't make it wrong.
Yeah Generally people are sik...But some aren't.... If you do some looking you find that in South America. Some Native Tribes Cannabalize their dead. By doing so they belive that they're taking in the 'elders wisdom and knowledge' Some cultures see it as a great privilage to eat their dead and it is their tradition. So I guess it depends on where you come from!!!
Fall
Originally posted by Jesus Chicken I think if we all knew what we were eating all the time, we probably wouldn't eat much any more.
You're right, though I meant different. If I ate someone, it'd be like eating myself. I'd know what I was eating, because that person was just like me. Myself. And to that, I couldn't do it. That's more to what I mean by "damn sick". Defcon5
I wouldn't even know what to eat. Let alone be able to digest it. If the person was already dead though I don't see the harm, besides disrespect for the dead, but I still don't think I could bring myself to do it.
