Okay, I'm not sure if this is going to work (mostly because my RPG's haven't really started out well...), but since there is a current lack of Digimon-related RPGs, I decided to give a chance to this idea I've had for AGES.

This is the chance to play a bit more deep Digimon-game than usually. The current name of this game is: [U]Digimon Masters[/U] (very original, don't you think... :rolleyes: )

This is a story of 12 (can be less) Japanese kids who are the protectors of the Digital world. I've thought that the world would be the one in the first two seasons, but it really doesn't matter, because the partnership-system is completely different.

In this game, the kids (referred as "Masters") each have their own type of Digimons they protect. This means that the characters are chosen from the list below (the color is the same in the characters Digivice):

(These should cover up all the digimons)

Two things about partnership:
a)Masters have no actual partners, its more like every digimon in their respective type are his or hers partners. Thus, s/he can help any digimon of the type digivolve (of course to a certain limit).
b)No fictional digimons (!!!), and preferrably digimons that HAVEN'T been in a major part in the show.

Hope everybody got what I mean...

About the characters: You have to be one from the list above, so only 12 people at tops can join (though things can always be discussed...). Here's the catch: I want the characters to be AS UNIQUE AS POSSIBLE. Avoid clichés and stereotypes (especially ones from the show), think about a character you will NEVER see in the show. Got it?
And, as the characters are Japanese, it would be best if everybody had a Japanese-sounding name (it doesn't have to mean anything).
These names are merely to HELP you (you can use them or choose your own, whatever suits your character best):

[u]appereance:[/u] a sickly boy suffering from genetic mutation, albinism. This makes his skin pale, hair pure with (with a few silvery lines) and eyes red. His body is slim and small, with weak bones. He waers a simple black&white shirt and grey trousers.
[u]bio:[/u] Haku has always been suffering from various ilnesses, thus living a half-life inside his parents' mansion. He comes from a wealthy family, so he has always gotten everything he wants - except a normal life. Haku spends most of his days in front of the computer playing games, chatting with strangers, pretending to be normal and healthy. But when he gets an anonymous e-mail his life is completely changed. He finds himself in a completely new dimension, the Digital World. Here Haku is allmighty, and this messes his head big time...

Nothing more is necessary. Every character lives in Tokyo (naturally). I'll reveal some storyline if this gets enough support. Note that you will gain your partners as the game processes, you can't choose them at this point.

[b]Appearance:[/b] Ryouka is fairly tall for his age, and has long bright red and orange hair which drapes down in thick spikes. He wears a long black trenchcoat and black jeans, along with a red T-shirt and silver sword-shaped pendant. He has a large scar over his left eye.
[b]Bio:[/b] Having recently moved to the area, Ryouka doesn't feel much and home and stays out for as long as possible. More than anything he wants adventure and excitement, but has been forced to attend school. Through his irritation, he sometimes releases his agressions on other students, which has landed him in serious trouble before. After one particularly bad fight in which he was slashed with a pair of scissors, he collapsed in front of his computer, and suddenly found himself in another dimension. Having found a purpose as a protector of the Digital World, he is much happier, although does still have problems with aggression.

I wasn't sure whether they were in the Digital World or not yet, so I can change it if this isn't quite right.

[b]appereance:[/b] Blue eyes, long auburn hair that is in a ponytail (it sweeps into a four pointed one in the Digital World). At the time she was projected into the Digital World, she was wearing a sleeveless, tan dress and fuzzy slippers. In the Digital World, though, she looks like (see attached). The pointed ears and wings have yet to be explained.

[b]bio:[/b] Naive, innocent, better follower than leader--it all describes Keio. She's very kind hearted, but also deprived of self-confidence. Too many times she is worried about doing something, in fear that she'll do it [i]wrong[/i].
She was projected into the Digital World while on the Internet during a major electricity storm. The town she landed in has turned her into their Princess, for some bizarre reason, though it has helped her to believe in herself a little more. Perhaps because it is comprised of Animal Digimon. But there is still the fear of screwing up looming in her mind.

Apperence: Big Brown eyes, short brown hair (almost looks like his hair was cut with a bowl on his head. He was wearing jeans and t-shirt with the words hooked on fonics worked for me on it. In the digital world he is in what looks like something a parachuter would wear with a blue green vest and grey shorts.
Bio: Ojji was born with serious dwarfism. He is only 3'2. He is riddiculed and has tried to commit sucide many times. This time he tried to cut himself but he got the email and was sucked into the digital world where he became 5'2 for a very strange and scary reason.

Apearrance: Meidum sized 5'4" female. Wild hair that looks very intimidating. Purple eyes. Big nose and ver big ears. She has a mutation of overgrown canines. Appears to have fangs. Seems quiet and content.

Bio: Lives in Tokyo with her mother and sister. She and her sister don't get along as well as they should, but she's good at getting along.

She's lived with her sister and mother for the majority of her life. She has had a good heart, but is usually looked at in the wrong way because of her outside. Her mother fears this will effect her, but little does she know, there's not a thing wrong.

One under each eye and one over each eye. She has yet to find out why. She wears Army camoflauge pants and Wears a black t shirt with flames on it. She wears heavy duty army boots. And has a spiked collar around her neck for kicks. One eye is glazed over. She was born blind in one eye but this has not bothered her. She also even though shes a tomboy paints her fingernails black.

[u]bio:[/u] Adpoted into a family of 8 children she gave up trying to make the rest notice her and she finaly just became her own self. Comeing up with this total tomboy army girl look she also has build a wall around her she wont let anyone in and wont let anything out. She plays tough and is most of the time. But sometimes she losses grip of her toughness and sometimes her kindness shows. The markings on her shoulder and face are unknown. Her brothers and sisters teased her about them She thought they were cool although she still has no idea What they are. She has becoem a loner over the years. Shes adventrous and the only being able to see out of one eye does not stop her.

[b]Bio[/b] Yuji is a nasty runt, he eats lots of chocolates and newer shares. His parents work hard to get him what he wants, but he feels no gratitude. He's usuay seen in Tokyo streets eating (or even stealing) chocolate. If someone sais something a out him he stomps on their feet.
He doesn't know it yeat, but digiworld is about to change him forever.

Answer to [u]Ginny's[/u] question: I'd prefer going by the looks, since some of the classifications in the cards are kinda... odd. Exceptions are Mythical and Magical classes:
*Mythical includes angels, legendary monsters (such as Pegasumon, Gryphomon, Unimon - so don't include these to Animals) and most dragons (less mythical dragons such as Airdramon and Veedramon are a part of Reptilian class).
*Magical includes wizards, puppets, pixies and such digimons as Gargoylemon and Digitamamon.

[u]About the game:[/u]
This will start as soon as possible, so no worry with that. Here's how the partnership works: each characters will have a couple of nearest Digimons, who will travel with him/her (though not necessarily during the whole time). The amount of these nearest partners can grow or diminish during the game, and new ones can replace the lost ones. However, at the beginning, nobody should have a "closest" digimonpartner whose level is above champion! All characters have a Digivice they can use to TEMPORARILY level-up the digimons, however, the digimons can grow on their own to a PERMANENT upper level (like Gatomon in the show). There's no need to list your first digimonpartners in here, but you can begin to pounder on them (remember that ficcimons are prohibited - just for the fact that there's so much unused digimons that already exist, so use them!).
Oh, almost forgot: you can NAME your nearest digimons with nicknames to separate them from the masses!

Just to give you an idea what I mean, I'll tell Haku's starting posse:
Chip the Choromon, Steel the Hagurumon and it's twinsister Platine the Solarmon.

Description: 5'10" Brown hair and eyes. Hair cut short. Always wears shorts and a t-shirt
Bio: David's dad dies in a car accident when he was three years old. As a result, David has lived a rather lonely life. He has been home-schooled his entire life because his mom couldn't afford to pay for him to go to a private school, and she hated public schools. David has never had experiance interacting with others, and doesn't have any friends. He became interested in computers when he was 10, and immersed himself full-time in them. He used computers as a way to escape from reality.
When David was 14, he discovered the digital world. His first adventure there resulted in him meeting two digimon, Mushroommon and Palmon, who currently live with him (His mom knows, and wasn't [i]too[/i] shocked to find out). The three of them had many more adventures togeather, and David began to study Digimon. He has learned a lot about Digimon and the digital world, and always seems to have the awnser. He always relies on the facts, and doesn't guess unless he has facts to base his guesses on.

There. I hope the bio isn't too confusing, but I had a lot to say.

By the way, what kind of digivices do these people have? If we can choose, then mine has a D-Power.

I'll post the different Vegetation Digimon as soon as I can.

Just an update for all, I'm making the DigiList for each person according to how I divided the attributes for each Master. If sage says that certain attributes should be under different Masters, I will make the adjustment.

The list should be ready tonight or tomorrow.

In the meantime, what I need from all of you is to find all the Digis I'm missing. That pretty much covers any new Digimon that came out since the end of S3. If you could find the name of each one, and its attribute (attributes are stuff like "Dinosaur, Mammal, Evil, Warrior", etc--on every Digimon card), that would help me out a lot! (I dunno if this applies to Hybrids. If the cards have it, then we can classify them too!)

For digimon type, are we going by what the card says, or by appearance? I know Sage said eairlier that we were going by appearance, but GinnyLyn went by what the card says, and some of those don't make too much sense.
