Guest Anakin Solo
I love these movies. They are awesome! Before these movies, I wasn't a big fan of Sylvester however you spell his last name.(not even sure I spelled the first name right)But after seeing him in these movies, phew....found out how cool he is. :D My favorite would have to be the fourth.(I THINK that is the one where Apollo dies) That was my favorite. Just the pure "rage" I felt coming from Sylvester(sp) S. Man, and when Apollo died!!!! Gawd...I was enraged myself. So what ya'll think of the Rocky movies? and which is your favorite? L.A. Rod.
I am a big fan of boxing, so my favorites would have to be the first two as they have the more realistic boxing. If I had to choose between the two, I would choose the first, as it has everything that represents Rocky in it. There are some people who don't know who Sylvester is but still know Rocky. That's how popular these movies have become, and I absolutely love them!
Manic Webb
Sylvester Stallone is a genius, or at least he was for a while (3 too many Rocky movies, for me). He pulled several all-nighter to write the first Rocky movie by himself, and it's my favorite from the movie series. Sly's best role ever. Charles
I loved the Rocky films. I have the entire collection--even the lackluster fifth installment. I remember years ago when my cousin and I drove everyone insane with our Rocky marathons. We probably wore the tapes thin. I found something to love in each edition. The classic double knockout between Rocky and Apollo in the first Rocky was incredible. What a feeling. It was only surpassed when Rocky barely climbed to his feet before Apollo in the second. And, who could forget his no holds barred brawl with Hulk Hogan? Awesome stuff. The fourth was heartbreaking when Apollo died. But, it added intensity to Rocky's ultimate showdown with Ivan Drago(sp?). After seeing the outstanding choreography of that fight, I was able to look past the cheesiness of Rocky's post match speech. I'm afraid that I'm not too eager to see Rocky VI, though. It's rumored that Harrison Ford will be Sly's rival. The idea of two old men fighting doesn't sound very exciting.
Guest Anakin Solo
Ahhhh...the boxset just arrived and boy am I happy. :D I went and watched the fourth right away. Geeze....the Apollo fight.....oh man.....can't bear to watch it. So painful....he should have let Rocky stop the fight!!!!! Yes, I had the feeling that Rocky was full of rage when he fought that damn Russian, and I mean it looked like to me...intense rage. Love these movies. :D
TheShinje
I enjoyed all 5 Rocky movies, It was quite a while ago so I don't know all the specifics. Rocky VI? well, I'm not too sure that it can capture the emotion of the first 5. Still, maybe there one, or 7 left in the frachise yet

Semjaza
I do not like boxing, and have honestly never seen any of these movies other than clips. The Rocky Theme is one of most recognizable movie songs though, and I personally love it.
Juu
Hmm... everytime I mention wanting to become an actress or a movie director to daddy, he starts lecturing me about this movie. @.@;;; He begins telling me how the guy who played Rocky brought the script to this director, telling him he would let him use that script if he let him play in it...etc. I think I remember seeing one movie a while ago. ^_^;
Subversive
I haven't seen the movies in awhile. All I know is Rocky is one of my many nick names. (One for each sport, Rocky is for baseball.) I thought it was really well done when I saw it...I need to see it again.
TheDarkOtaku
The films are classic and there is nothing else to it. They're great because of this. I enjoy them even though sports do not interest me too much. The spirit of courage and bravery captured in them is something many films try to recreate, but they just don't work like Rocky did. If I had to choose a favorite, the 4th would be without a doubt. It was the most emotional next to the first one.
