RicoTranzrig
Do you know of any songs that really mean a lot to you? Something you listen to that'll help you through tough times? Or something that just gives you a sudden rush of emtotion (Maybe a tear jerker)?
Guest Master O Beans
Rolling Stones : Wild Horses - "Childhood living is easy to do. The things you wanted, I bought them for you. Graceless lady, you know who I am, you know I can't let you slide through my hands. Wild horses couldn't drag me away. Wild, wild horses couldn't drag me away. I watched you suffer a dull aching pain. Now you decided to show me the same. No sweeping exits or offstage lines, can make me feel bitter or treat you unkind.Wild Horses, couldn't drag me away. Wild, wild horses, couldn't drag me away.." Slipknot - Everything Ends - "My flaws are the only thing left that's pure Can't really live, Can't really endure Everything I see reminds me of her God I wish I didn't care anymore The more I touch the less I feel I'm lying to meself that it's not for real Why is everybody makin' such a big f*ckin' deal? I'm never gunna care anymore" Blink-182 : D@mmit - "And it'll happen once again you'll turn to a friend someone that understands and sticks to the master plan but everybody's gone and you've been there for to long to face this on your own... ...I guess this is growing up." These are just a few of my favs...the list continues :)
Guest zanza
I've never really paid attention to lyrics, and I don't think there are any songs that make me cry or anything, but I really love nostalgiac songs. These include "Sayonara", "Anata no Tameni", and "Natsu no Yuuutsu -Time to Say Goodbye-" all by L'Arc~en~Ciel.

Transtic Nerve
I also don't listen for lyrics in a song... most songs that are tear jerkers that i like are songs without lyrics or not paying attention to the lyrics... I like alot of violin or strings... string instruments are very powerful instruments, not only in sound, but mentally on the listener. Same with the piano. But if there was one song that descibed my feelings right now, it'd have to be this song I heard on the radio today when going to get something to eat. I believe the lyrics went like this:
I never had a dream come true 'Till the day that I found you Even thought I pretend that I moved on You'll always be my baby I never found the words to say You're the one I think about each day And no matter where that takes me to A part of me will always be with you
Thats what I'm feeling... :(

There is a song I hear sometimes that makes me sad...it's a classical melody and it's often played at funerals. It's the most emotionally charged piece of music I've ever heard...it's beautiful and at the same time, it's very sad and depressing. I can't think of the name though...

That's the only song I like from that group; in fact for a while when that song came out, the ONLY reason why I would even turn on the radio was to possibly catch hearing that song. *sigh* yep, that song speaks worlds to me, too.... If I had a friggin penny for every song that's a 'tear jerker' or 'strikes a chord' in me, I'd have money out the wazoo. So, lesse, here's a few off the top of my head: "I put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There's only one thing you should know I tried so hard, and got so far But in the end, it doesn't even matter I had to fall, and lose it all But in the end, it doesn't even matter" In the End by Linkin Park "Memories are just where you laid them Drag the waters 'til the depths give up their dead What did you expect to find, Was there something you left behind Don't you remember Anything I said when I said Don't fall away, and leave me to myself Don't fall away And leave love bleeding in my hands, In my hands again Leave love bleeding in my hand, in my hands Love lies bleeding Hold me now, I feel contagious Am I the only place that you've left to go? She cries her life is like Some movie black and white Dead actors faking lines over and over and over again she cries Don't fall away, and leave me to myself Don't fall away" Hemorrhage (In My Hands) by Fuel well, I was gonna post more, but methinks it'd take up too much space. And instrumentals, esp. instrumentals w/ strings, always 'strike a chord' with me'; like the bow itself is playing my own heart strings. K,..... I'll stop now... :cross:

Posthumous
Linkin Park-In the End / It tells u that even tho u do sumtin good ur wastin time It starts with [one] One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind i designed this rhyme to explain in due time All I know Time is a valuable thing Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings Watch it count down to the end of the day The clock ticks life away It's so unreal Didn't look out below Watch the time go right out the window Trying to hold on, didn't even know I wasted it all just to watch you go I kept everythin inside And even though I tried It all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when i [tried so hard] Tried so hard and got so far But in the end, it doesn't even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn't even matter One thing, I don't know why It doesn't even matter how hard you try Keep that in mind i designed this rhyme to remind myself how (I tried so hard) I tried so hard In spite of the way you were mocking me Acting like I was part of your property Remembering all the times you fought with me I'm surprised it got so [far] Things aren?t the way they were before You wouldn?t even recognize me anymore Not that you knew me back then But it all comes back to me in the end I kept everything inside And even though I tried It all fell apart What it meant to me will eventually be a memory of a time when I [tried so hard] Tried so hard and got so far But in the end, it doesn?t even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn?t even matter I put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There?s only one thing you should know I put my trust in you Pushed as far as I can go For all this There?s only one thing you should know I tried so hard and got so far But in the end, it doesn?t even matter I had to fall to lose it all But in the end it doesn?t even matter
BabyGirl
I forgot about this one song that made me cry, Is This the End by Creed...While on my trip to Europe, we were in our last city, Paris. We had only two days left with this big group that had grown very close...one of the guys I had become very close with peeked over the seat in front of mine while on the bus and handed me his headphones. He told me to listen to this song, and *glaces at title of song again* that's what it was. I just started crying, thinking about how I had spent nearly a month of my life with these people, and we'd all be separating in little more than 48 hours. It was kinda sad :(

To find myself again My walls are closing in (Without a sense of confidence I?m convinced that there?s just too much pressure to take) I've felt this way before So insecure There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface Consuming, confusing This lack of self control I fear is never ending Controlling Crawling ~ linkin Park And anything by "Staind".
