I was playing pokegold last night and i got into a battle with a wild pokemon. except it wasn't really a pokemon. it was this man who had the name Holtan. is this a glitch or a cheat or what? i found him near where the bug catching contest is, but just outside there. Desbreko Posted September 10, 2001 Share Posted September 10, 2001 i don't know what it would've done. i wouldn't recomend catching anything like that though, because sometimes it'll erase your game. and if you do catch something like that DO NOT transfer it to Pokemon Stadium 1 or 2 because it can screw up your transfer pak. Fall Posted September 10, 2001 Author Share Posted September 10, 2001 I did that before. i traded missingno to pokestadium1 and all it did was disappear. but then i went into the pokeleague and it was already completed. i think trading missingno up to my pokestadium made the pokeleague complete. anyways, thanx 4 the advice. Pastbyer Posted September 18, 2001 Share Posted September 18, 2001 *shivers* at least that didn't happen to me on my Gameboy... But the gold version I've got on my PC has lots of glitches in it. Like when you go to the Trainer's Hall you battel these people instead of the pokemon. And when you get to the 4th person and you kill him the game will restart and you'll go to the spot you saved last. And when some one use protect it restarts too. And the date keeps on changing when you walk or battle or use your PokeGear. But the time changes in a really weird way. Like once every 5 hours of playing the game the time jumps 2 hours.
