Juu
Mkay, soooo many people warned me about seeing this movie, but... During the ski trip, seven of my guyfriends and I had to stay in this room for the rest of the night. The adults were downstairs, and they didn't want us coming down. So, one of the guys rented three movies. We had to decide between an Arnold Sw-...(something) movie, the Fox and the Hound, and Final Destination. ¬¬; This was one of the scariest movies I've ever seen. I'm terrible with scary movies and gore, and I can hardly handle someone getting shot in a movie. >>; Anywho, this movie freaked me out. I know most of those deaths aren't likely to happen in real life, but they really, really freaked me out. ><; Especially
when that teacher and Tod died.
Those two were the grossest deaths. ><;;;; A few people told me Final Destination 2 was worse. I can't even imagine. ><;;; Did anyone else see this movie? I know it's been a while since it came out. ^_^;
Guest Anakin Solo
This movie....was lame. I find it the stupidest "horror" movie created. Bloddy at times, but stupid..I mean....talking to "death", come on..... The whole "cheating" it I can understand, but then talking to it after you cheat it again...I found that part lame...Not even scary in my opinion....:/ BUT! The part that I loved about the movie, was the death clock thing. When you can find ouy "when you die." So cool that is, lol. Though...I do plan on seeing the second one, just for the sake of telling people how bad it was.
Queen Asuka
When I saw that movie, I NEVER wanted to be on an airplane. It scared me, too. That's what I haven't seen the sequel. My sister told me that it was worse and that it was very gory. I don't mind gore, but I hate getting scared in a movie theatre. I just don't feel safe like I do when I'm at home. The scariest death to me was
The girl who got hit with the bus. It just happened so fast, after he saw the bus reflection and everything...
*Shudders*
Juu
*shivers* I had to get on a plane a day after that. ><; The scary thing is, I got on United Air, which is also blue and grey. @.@;;; It freaked me out, because the plane kept bobbing up and down during the whole flight. I was also afraid to floss in the bathroom the night I saw it. ><;
Queen Asuka
*Laughs* I haven't watched that movie in so long. I remember when I first saw it, though. I've never been on a plane in my life. I am planning on going to Oregon this summer, though. And I had forgotten about this movie, too! *Strangles Juuthena!* Heh, j/k!
Juu
Going on planes is fun. ^^ I've been flying all my life. It's just terrible when you're flying westward. ^^ *hides under desk* It's been hard forgetting this movie. o_o; I woke up this morning, thinking about snow, and I'm like, "Yay! I forgot about the movie-...". ...I hate myself. - .-;
Queen Asuka
Well, the movie that jolted me the most and took me the longest time to get over was the Sixth Sense. I couldn't go anywhere alone for over a year without thinking about how I was surrounded by dead people. I was so scared... So FD was NOTHING compared to that. ^_^
TheShinje
uh, Final destination was a good movie, not scary thogh. I mean, come on, When the teacher died it was through the most unlikely of coincidences. I enjoyed the movie. And look forward to the secon one, It's just way way too far fetche for me to be scared by it. As far fetched about a video tape that kills you when you watch it, but I still enjoyed the Ring.
BigCajones
For some reason I find scary movies terribly funny and this I also found hilarious. I always look at the Scary Movie (the film taking the mick of horror movies) side to a horror. Of course if this was reality I would of soiled my pants by now lol. It's a pretty good film I must say and I really wish I could see the sequel, maybe I will rent it out when it comes on video. I also thought Six Sense was a bit more jumpy and very cleverly done! :)
Charles
Oh man, I love Final Destination. lol It's cool because the deaths all play out like elaborate jokes. They're not scary at all, in my opinion. Each death is kind of like a punch line. The dialogue is terrible and we're seeing a bunch of beautiful people get slaughtered, so it's not too terribly different from most horror films. I just like Final Destination because it doesn't really pretend to be scary. The film is more of a thriller. The sequal is almost exactly like the first but with an entirely different cast (with the exception of Clear Rivers). But, the deaths are infinitely more gory. Trust me, if you couldn't stomach Final Destination, I don't suggest seeing the second.
Zanarkand Abes
I saw Final Destination 2 the day it came out, and it scared the hell out of me. I had to drive home at 10 hat night and was constantly scanning the roads in fear of a possible accident. The thing I like about Final Destination is that it is one of those movies that aren't horror scary, but still makes you watch out.
