An aftermath is, as the definition says, a state left behind by an event. In the case of war, the aftermath of the war is everything which happens as a result of drained and destroyed resources, etc. until things return to normal. The aftermath of peace is by no means war.. at all.. that and you can't say "if the aftermath of war is peace then the aftermath of peace is war", without some kind of reason. I could say "if Fred is bigger than Bill, then Bill is bigger than Fred", but that's not really true either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
