Chapter 11: The New Enemy

Izzy stood on the ledge where the digital gate was high above Hightenview Terrace. Matt and Sora looked on anxiously.

?Almost done. Hang on guys!? Izzy said, mostly to himself. ?Sora, take this scanning device to the top of the gate. Matt, you take this one to the other end.?

?Done,? Matt replied.

?Me too!? Sora added.

?Alright, here we go!? Izzy frantically punched various codes into his laptop. ?Okay guys, now give me your digivices.? Matt and Sora handed them to him, and Izzy connected them into his laptop. He entered another code, and the devices began to glow. A bright light shot out and surrounded the gate. The outline of BlackWarGreymon?s body began to dissolve into the portal. As soon as it was gone, Izzy shouted into the opening.

?Okay guys, now!?

Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Palmon, and Tentomon came through the gate. Next came a furry little digimon with a metal helmet on. It was Kapurimon.

?Gabumon!? Matt shouted.

?Biyomon!? Sora called.

?Tentomon!? Izzy greeted.

?Well, as much as I?d like to continue this reunion, we?ve got to get to the others!? Matt reminded.

?Did you bring the spheres?? Izzy asked.

?You bet!? Palmon answered.

?Okay then. Let?s go!? Sora exclaimed.

Wormmon watched helplessly as the others digivolved.

?Oh, Ken. Wake up! They need us!? he sobbed.

As the others DNA digivolved, ExVeemon headed out with Davis to find the others.

?Hey TK!? Cody shouted. ?If Silphymon can Mega-Digivolve, do
you think Shakkuomon can too??

?Let?s give it a shot!? TK answered. They held up their digivices, and opened their D-Terminals. They used a portion of the digi-sphere and loaded its energy into the D-3?s.

?Now Shakkuomon!? They said.

?Shakkuomon Mega-Digivolve to?Vikemon!?

?Vikemon!? TK said in awe.

?I knew he could do it!? Cody cheered.

Vikemon stood as high as the surrounding buildings.

?Well it?s easy to see why they call him Vikemon. He looks just like a Viking in that armor!? Joe said.

?Shall we join the party?? Aquillamon and Gatomon asked their partners.

?You bet!? Kari said.

?Perfecto!? Yolei added.

?Gatomon!?

?Aquillamon!?

?DNA digivolve to?Silphymon!?

?Silphymon Mega Digivolve to?Valkyrimon!?

?Arctic Blizzard!? Vikemon blasted LadyDevimon with a cold blast.

?Lightning Arrow!? Valkyrimon shot her charged arrow right through LadyDevimon?s frozen form. It shattered into little bits.

?You got her! Alright!? Tai shouted.

?What?! Look!? Kari gasped. The shattered pieces reformed right back in to LadyDevimon.

?Fools!? She scowled?obviously in pain.

?Hey Tai!? Sora shouted.

?Alright! The cavalry?s here!? Tai exclaimed.

Everyone greeted their digimon. Kapurimon, who?d been riding with Izzy, hopped down to Macayla?s arms, and wildly showed his joy.

?Nice to see you again too!? She said.

?You guys had better digivolve!? Matt said.

?Use your spheres to warp digivolve!? Izzy said.

?Be careful Palmon,? Mimi said. ?He?s at some kind of superior
level.?

?That?s right,? Joe added, ?Be extra careful.?

?Aww Joe,? Gomamon sighed.

?Okay, let?s go!? Tai ordered.

?Agumon warp digivolve to?WarGreymon!?

?Gabumon warp digivolve to?MetalGarurumon!?

Joe, Sora, Mimi, and Izzy gazed at their partners? new mega level, while Matt and Tai welcomed WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon back.

?Can you do that?? Macayla asked Kapurimon.

?Dunno,? he answered, ?lessee.?

?Kapurimon digivolve to?ToyAgumon!?

?Okay, now, let?s try!? Macayla exclaimed.

?ToyAgumon warp digivolve to?HiAndromon!?

?Your digimon is Andromon?? Kari asked.

?You bet!? Macayla smiled.

Davis returned with ExVeemon and went over to Ken, who was still on the ground.

?I?ll take care of him, Yolei. Go on.? Davis assured her.

?You sure??

?He?s my best friend! Of course I?m sure!?

?Okay!? Yolei shouted.

?Valkyrimon, attack!? Kari commanded.

?Go get her!? Yolei added.

The white warrior digimon drew her sword and took flight.

?Oh no you don?t!? LadyDevimon hissed. She held out a small portion of a digi-sphere.

?LadyDevimon dark digivolve to?BlackRosemon!?
