People, I said it once and I'll say it again. Wing 0 is the fastest. It was the original 5 gundams combined but the professors dubbed it too powerful and scrapped the idea, but Quatre found the plans for it and built it. And Tallgeese isn't even a gundam. Its a Leo prototype.

You hope wrecker, JK^_^ I like TallGeese as my fav too and we all know he isn't a gundam we just say that for the sake of general definition, but the techs say he's not the fastest :(. So after recapping the episodes I realized that TallGeese is the "fastest" at one point with the expert piloting of Zechs, but the other gundams are temporarly superior at speed as well at certain times... I mean the animater is always making one faster than the other to be more entertaining and make for well fought battles. So the read outs as a staple would have to be untrue. Which is why I'm just going to say, TallGeese my fav, is the fastest;)

well, without saying its your fav. Wing Zero is the fastest and most powerful Gundam. Tallgeese three is right below or on par with it but during the TV series Wing 0 was the strongest in all fields. I mean its pretty hard to deny this when Quatre goes around blowing colonies up with a single shot.

Don't talk facts, without the facts kiddies!!! Now if you would like to go by performance ability levels, then the Deathscythe Hell with its 170 speed rating is the fastest. Wing Zero and Epyon both tie for second with a rating of 160. It's as simple as that. Notice how I said performance ability ratings, that means if your talking mech specs and saying what each gundam *should* be able to do then that's what you have; Deathscythe Hell is technically the fastest gundam in gundam wing (quite surprising if you ask me because I always thought Epyon was).

*keep in mind* this is how it plans out on paper, but as you guys have already stated, a pilots ability has alot to determine whether or not the mobile suit will reach the full potential of it's speed rating.

Deathscythe Hell is the fastest. Its speed stat is 170, the Tallgeese at 150, Zero at 160, Epyon at 160, and Heavyarms only has a 120. The Epyon passing Quatre and Duo in Episode 41 is to add suspense to the series. Pilot Skill does show the mobile suits abilities at full, but the pilot would be nowhere without a mobile suit and a mobile suit would be nowhere without a pilot. My information was found in a book I bought at WaldenBooks, and was published by TOKYOPOP. The website is www.tokyopop.com. By the way, Domon, you should just let it go man because you've been proven wrong numerous time with many reliable sources. Just let it Go.

Yep yep your correct -_+, great minds think alike. The one reason the Epyon and Wing Zero may seem the fastest also might have to do with the "Zero System", if you factor that in then it could essentially push the Gundam to the limit and make it faster than the Deathscythe hell, but once again it would all depend on the pilot =-P.

Tallgese can't be the fastest. Remember the episode when Tallgese gets blown up, Zechs said that it was to slow for his skill/reactions. So Epyon, Wing Zero, and all the other gundams would be faster than Tallgese once they had their zero systems.

Uhhh.. Kite, only Wing Zero and Epyon had the Zero System. And to the others I stand corrected about the speed. Its just that when you said Tokyopop I had my doubts because those books they publish tend to be VERY INACCURATE. I said tend to be not that its totally inaccurate its just that they tend to be very inaccurate.

Err.. guys tech specs wise Deathscythe Hell is the fastest :P... A speed of 170 is greater than that of the Wing Zeros, Tallgeeses, and Epyons, for those of you who didn't know. Now don't get me wrong with a speed of 160 Wing Zero and Epyon are just about on par with Deathscythe Hell in terms of speed, but Deathscythe Hell is the fastest [end disscusion] lol.

But such as Domon here said in GW the strongest gundam is the Wing Zero. Wickedthought did bring up a good point a few moments ago though, the animation isn't neccesarily consistent when talking in terms of speed (which isn't really a bad or good thing), so if your basing your assumptions off the animation then your answer is going to be quite faulty. Also if you thing logically, Deathscythe Hell was in a sense built for stealth and speed, such as the original Deathscythe was, Wing Zero on the other hand wasn't neccesairly built for speed. It's more of a all around great --- all purpose mobile suit. (Yes it is a Gundam, but dur! any Gundam is also considered a mobile suit :P).

For any one who doesn't know wing gundam was made before wing zero and the tallgeese was the first gundam built because it was built before the other gundams by howard and is the basis for the leo type mobile suits.

i think that tallgeese is as fast as the other gundams. (except wing 0 and epyon)
tallgeese was a piece of crap once all 5 of the gundams were upgraded(not custom).

why don't u think he ditched it got wing zero, then got the epyon from heero?? duh..like in the other posts it was wayy to slow for his reactions. apparently wing zero and epyon weren't.

just to let u know, i believe a throttle control control's the speed of the mobile suit. and the zero system doesnt have anything to do with the top speed, but it does enhance the brains reaction speeds and, depending on the pilot's skills, makes the gundam manuevour at speeds off the charts.

with yalls info on those charts or whatever, if all the gundams were to race, ur saying deathscythe hell would win?

i'm talking about all the gundams from gundam wing to GW endless watz... so somebody correct me..

oh.. when duo and quatre were flyin toward barge and epyon passed them, duo and quatre were fighting their way through, they had just cleared all of the forces from what i've seen when the epyon rushed passed them.

Base technical stats show the D-Hell has the fastest capability but when the pilots come into the equation, speed is not only factored on the Gundam's base stat but the pilots ability to react on instinct. Therefore, w/ the Z-System Heero gets the nod, and D-Hell gets teh boot.

God I hate arguing about such a lame series that I saw way before it started Gundam dubbing..--;

tallgeese has a speed rating of 150... Deathscythe Hell however has 170. Yet in episode 41 (Crossfire At Barge) when Duo and Quatre are flying to Barge to stop the cannon, Zechs flies right past them with Epyon...and epyon is only 160 speed
hmm interesting i was just about to say deathscyth hell was the fastest cuz the ratings in the book, but your right in that episode epyon outran duo. however you cant forget the fact that duo was fighting his way through, while epyon was just running through the path that duo already cleared. i assume duo didnt just run past all the taurases, cuz sandrocks armor and speed suck so much so he had to help quatre.

oh just to clear this up, zero system DOES NOT improve performance of gundam, it improves performance of the pilot, the gundams abilities stays the same.

duo is a better pilot than heero or trowa. remember that scene where he beat up the mercurius and vayate with heero trowa skills? add up mercurius and vayates stats and its higher than deathscyth hell, so they had more to work with and they had numbers advantage and still couldnt beat duo.

also remember in endless waltz
heero: duo, i was relying on your skills to get us here this whole time. when they were trying to go to the colony and see what was up.

Please do not double post again. Anyway, quit thinking you are some Gundam guru because you are far from one.

Sure the Zero System does not enhance the Gundam's performance, but if the pilot is enhanced so is the general output of the gundam since the pilot is controlling it.

Dude..they always have situations in which all 5 gundam pilots in Wing were outnumbered and the gundams still annihilated everybody. Not just Duo...that's why most reasonable Gundam fans consider the UC series' a hell of a lot better than Wing since Wing is more like power rangers...the UC series had more realistic odds.

Yes, that is true but think about it. Just because the 'output' of the Gundam would increase, the max speed stat would stay the same. No matter who was piloting it, or even if the Zero system was or wasn't ued. It doesn't matter, the fastest Gundam is the one with the fastest STAT and as mentioned by you, Deathsythe Hell is has the fastest max speed.

So, from what I can gather Deathsythe Hell is the fastest Gundam, in the Wing universe. Period.
