Domon
Ryan had been walking down the path for awhile, when he realized he was hungry, he came upon a rock and sat down and pulled out a granola bar and started to munch on it, he pulled out the map and looked at it, he wasn't that far from the church. He decided to pick up the pace and get going, he threw down the half-eaten bar and started down the path again. For awhile it seemed like everything went dead, like time itself had stopped, except Ryan was still moving. Just then Ryan realized he was at the church. He clutched the pistol and walked into the courtyard of the church, just then he heard voices, a male voice and a woman's voice. Woman: I don't like this. I don't like this at all. Ryan didn't hear the man speak but they were definetly colse by, he crept closer and then he saw the figures weaving through the graveyard. Ryan took this opprotunity and walked towards them. He obviously spooked them cause the woman whipped out a sword and was obviously wouldn't hesitate to use it. Ryan raised his hands up. Ryan: Whoa! I'm one of the good guys!!
Heartless Me
Damien entered the town in his car but for some reason it had died just shortly before entering, he'd figured it had to do something with the fog gathered on the motor or something strange. The place just gave him the creeps so he grabbed the crowbar/tire iron from the trunk and a small first aid kit and emptying the clothes from his backpack into the back seat and throwing in the map of Silent Hill he found and the first aid kit in the bag and throwing it on his back.* Damien: Damn, Hopefully I am prepared. Who knows when some wierdo comes crawling out of the mist and tries to mug me. Damien finishes talking to himself then he looks left and looks right and starts walking down the street. The first thing he comes to on his right is a small diner. Hopeing someone will give him directions he walks into the bar, though apon seeing nothing he shortly sighs and takes a slice of pie from under the dish and eats it as he leaves. out of nowhere his dead phone vibrates, though he remembered he set it on that gothic ringing pattern. He picks up the phone and speaks. Damien: Hello? Adrogynous Voice: Geeeeeeeeet ouuuuuuuuuut while you still can. Damien: Who the hell is this?! There is no response but the phone hangs up just in time to hear a growling from behind him. He turns around and steps back wide eyed at the half rotting dog that faces him, it's demonic shrunked eye sockets glowed red slightly through the fog. Damien tightened his grip on the crowbar as he prepared to defend himself when a semi-ruined car flew out of the fog and turned the dog creature into a speed bump. The car squeeled out it's breaks and a door opened. Man: Get in the car if you wanna live. Darmien hurries around and slides into the passenger seat. Damien: Who the hell are you? Man: The name is Rali. Damien: I'm Damien. So, how do we plan on getting out of here? Rali: Simple, we crash through anything that gets in our way. Damien: Sounds like a plan, go... Rali backs up over the dog with a few more thumps and bumps of the car then drives forward over it again heading toward the edge of town. On the way Damien watches out the window when they drive right past the hospital. His eyes widen as he sees a figure walking through the hospital on the second floor, the body almost seems to shuffle there and he remembers hearing clair saying she'd be at the hospital. Damien: We have to stop. Rali: What have you been smoking?
The Harlequin
Damien: I don't know, but trust me man, you don't want any of it. Rali gave a snort of derision as he slammed the brakes down. Damien looked at him reproachfully, and got out of the car, running into the hospital. Rali followed him, saying something about how it always happened like this in what movies he could remember. Which wasn't saying much. He jogged over to Damien, keeping a close eye out for dog creatures. Damien was standing in the doorway, staring inside in horror. Rali just thought he was on another depression induced, drug fueled, hallucination spree. Blood looked strange on polished white floors. And walls. And desks. It seemed strange to see such a place blistered in carnage. Though there were no bodies, no signs of life. Except the dark crimson fluid that softly waited on every surface. Rali: I don't know what you're looking for here, but it had better be good.
Chaos
Neil: "But first...need some gas dog. Sh*t be outta gas. You know how far we is fro' town?" Marth: "That hill up there would normally give us a view. But Hell. This fog, and snow. Why don't we just follow the interstate?" Neil: "Shoo, man. Straight with me man." Braving the wet flurries of snow, the pair climbed the hill within a few minutes. The first thing they saw was an obleak off-color white. The second thing they saw was the remaining dog. It was across the road, and covered in ice. The beast stiffly ran forward. Marth dove to the side, while Neil simply sidestepped. The dog, in feeble, frosted effort, tried to turn. It's blood-soaked and iced paws slipped on the slick road. As it hit the steel side barrier, it flipped over the railing with a snap, and whined in agony as it crashed below. The two eached calmly puffed their cigarettes and watched the wretched thing plummet, eye brows snapping up briefly when if collided face-first into the tree at the bottom. Neil turned, and headed for the direction he was driving only an hour or two before. Marth soon followed. Neil: "Might be dead, but sh*t's still just a fu*kin' dog." Neil:Naw...An 'shaddap, I'm trying not ta freeze, ya hear? Marth nods, and flicks his cigarette butt onto the ground, where it lands in a black puddle. But instead of going out, the whole puddle bursts into flame. Marth:What the f*ck?! Neil:Oh, man! My car's gas! Get down! The two dove for the ground and covered their head as Neil's car in the the near distance exploded as the flames reached it's gas tank. A white hot wave of air flew toward them, and knocked them flat. A few seconds later, they both got up, their eyes wide in amazement. Something landed suddenly right infront of them...A scarred, skeletal hand, holding the gas cap for Neil's car. Neil:Motha f*cker... Chaos
Neil, shaking with an uncharacteristic weariness, took a glance over his shoulder. Nothing. He took out his pack of Camels, pinched one between his lips, and put the box away. His shivering left hand went into his jean pocket, and the Zippo came out again. It lit this time, strange considering the hurried wind, and he puffed away. He snapped the top back over the flame, and put it in his pocket again. They continued to walk down the interstate. Several hours later, and a dying snow storm later, they treked past a welcoming sign, blackened and twisted faces on the front, and a splash of crimson on the back. Instinctivly, Neil flashed out his knife, keeping it blade-away from his leg at all times. With no snow falling, they could now see objects about five meters away, yet the fog seemed to grow thicker. One used to muggy climates, Neil barely noticed a difference from home. But that was ancient history now. All he wanted to do was see his brother. A faint whistle creeped into the air, and Neil and Marth slowly crept forward. They seemed to be in a residential district, the same, monotone homes on either side. Two stories, brick, A-slant roofs. They were also in complete silence. No laughing children, no cars, no lights. Even the streetlights were gone. Neil: "So, wha's this? Magnolia of Perfection, USA?" Marth: "Hmm?" Neil: "Heh. Magnolia Ward back home. Bad sh*t, dog." Marth: "I don't know. Sort of reminds me of The Twilight Zone. Where those two people are trapped in a town all by themselves." Neil: "Well, we ain't alone, is we? All 'dem dowgs an' an'thang." The continued to walk, and noticed the increasingly commercial feel of the area upon them...
Yoda
Craig: ShÃt, ain't no one around no more Munch. Well, mebbe there is, but all they hav'ta do is stand quietly 'cross the street an' I won' notice them. How 'bout you boy, what you see? Munch sniffed anxiously forward, and suddenly his ears picked up. Had he picked up on a scent? Immediately his nose fell to the ground, and he sniffed furiously at the floor, and again stopped dead, nose pressed to the tarmac. Then, turning to Craig, he let out a single bark. Craig: Looks like you got summ'n. Well, you ain't never let me down before boy, but mebbe we leave a trail so we can find our way back, non? Reaching into his pocket, Craig pulled out one of his packs of cards. He opened the pack and pulled out a single card. Craig grinned, it was the Ace of Spades. He helt it above his head... it didn't move. Good, that meant there was no wind. He placed the card face up on the sidewalk before his feet. Craig: Okay monáme, lead 'de way. Munch pressed on, nose constantly pressed to the ground, Craig following him less than a pace behind. Every few steps, he placed another card down on the sidewalk, leaving a distinct trail for him to backtrack from... or for someone to follow. Craig: Wherever Neil at... I hope he's a'ight. Chaos
The bark was hollow and stale in the stiff air. It hung in the peasoup-thick fog like a fly trapped in a spider's silky web. In an automatic reflex, Neil's knife came out in front of him, dully shining in the misty air. When the echo receeded, all that was left was complete silence. Both Neil and Marth had instinctively held their breaths, listening for the crunch of snow underfoot, or the raspy growl of those deformed hunks of flesh that called themselves dogs from eariler. They crouched down, knees bending and backs arching forward. Classic sneaking pose. Marth brandished his gun from side to side, not wanting to have a repeat of earlier. They tried their best to stay quiet as they walked slowly forward, heel first, then gently lowering the bulk of their foot down as gingerly as possible. They inhaled and exhaled through the mouth, carefully, and it was as if someone had turned off the volume on life. Suddenly, a dog's form crept into shape through the fog. It was a real dog this time, not flesh-and-bones. It was sniffing along the ground, ears perked forward. All three came to a halt at the same exact time. As if they were frozen, they peered at each other. Then...the dog turned around, wagging it's stub of a tail, and the shape of a human, in similarity of how the dog came to view, slid through the net of moisture around that town. A half-empty card box was in his left hand, King of Clubs in his right. At his belt was a revolver, a Colt Magnum from a glance. He put the King of Clubs back in the box, and his right hand gently patted the dog. At that, Neil stood upright once more. With a single flick of the wrist, his knife's blade was back in the slit in the handle; lockblades are so cool sometimes. They all stood there, Neil and Marth facing Craig and Munch. A brief wind whisped past, but it left a seering cold in it's wake, and Neil, having no jacket, hunched his shoulders to the wind and shoved his hands in his pockets. Marth: "Right. So uh. Hi?"
Domon
Ryan felt like he had been standing there with his hands up for an hour, he looked at the woman and spoke. Ryan: I ain't gonna hurt you. I'm trying to get some help. Woman: Why? Ryan: So I can get out of Silent Hill. Man: Oh? We were just heading to Silent Hill. Ryan: Can we go into the church? I'm just getting the willies standing out here. Man: Why should you? You have two hand guns and a shotgun? Ryan: Yeah but still, lets just get in there. The trio headed for the back entry way, amazingly the door was comepletly unlocked, Ryan opened the door and flicked on his flashlight, he found a light switch and flicked it on, amazingly a single light came on and cast eerie shadows about the room. This room was a nice little parlor that the pastor must have had his meetings etc. The three sat down on some chairs. Ryan felt relieved to have found some other humans. Ryan: I don't think we've been introduced right. My name's Ryan Walker. Man: Mine's Connor. Woman: Mine is Sethan. Ryan: So, why are you on your way to Silent Hill? Sethan: That' where my ex-boyfriend and I were heading? Ryan raised an eyebrow, at this. Why would a woman be travelling with her Ex to Silent Hill. Ryan: Your Ex? Sethan: I decided to break up with him as soon as I find him. He's a major weapon fanatic. I found all these weapons in his trunk, as well as this sword. Ryan: Oh. Well if you're going to Silent Hill you'll need all of that. Connor: Why?? Ryan: There are weird animals there. I encountered a skinless dog after going off the road. It was nothing but muscle tissue and bones. Damn thing didn't go down easily either, had to empty a whole round of gun ammo into it. Sethan: Maybe thats what was sniffing at the car. Ryan: Wha? Sethan: Never mind. Ryan: Yeah, anyways I'd just moved here earlier today and went to turn on my house lights but the stupid electricity wouldn't come on, so I decided to go to the electric company and tell them and that's when I met that four-legged hell hound. I then decided to head to the police station but took a side stop and went to a weapon store and then to the Police Department but it was locked and abandoned. So I helped myself to some of the spoils of the squad cars and went back to the weapon store and found my second handgun and ammo. Connor: Sounds like you had fun. Ryan: Heh, yeah, whatever. Say, either of you hungry? I've got granola bars also, plenty of em'. Sethan: Sure, I haven't eaten for awhile. Connor: Same here.
Turkey
OOC: If someone is still in the hospital, please help poor Zulib.:P Zulib had been walking for a while already, and he had already entered the main area of Silent Hill. The town, which was supposed to be bustling with activity at this hour, instead had a silence stronger than a cemetery's. There was little wind, and it seemed like the fog created shapes at times. Sometimes these shapes could be felt as little tingles of a cold, very cold wind. While passing by what seemed to be an hospital, Zulib heard some distant voices coming from inside. At first, he was reluctant to check it out. Zulib- (What if it's...them?) Bah...they could've killed me a while ago if they actually were in town. The people here should have some info. Upon entering, Zulib was welcomed to a beautiful display of neatness and cleanliness. Lots of people sat, waiting to be called for their routine checkup, or to visit a loved one. Every single object was in the best positioning possible, and the hospital just screamed politeness. Now relaxed, Zulib calmly went to the information desk. Nurse- How may I help you, sir? Zulib- Yeah, could you please tell me where are all the people in town? I haven't seen a single person since I entered the town. Nurse- ........*She looked at Zulib with concern* Zulib- Is something wrong? With no warning at all, the nurse started shrieking, as well as the other people in the room. She jumped over the desk, and pushed Zulib into one of those "carts" in which they carry the sick. They tied him up quickly and the nurse began dashing with him through the halls. Suddenly, a flash ocurred, and the "beautiful" hospital turned into the horrendous place it actually was. The people also turned into a variety of horrible monsters. All the while, they shrieked without pause. Due to all the things happening at once, Zulib fainted.
9mm Avenger
Graig and Neil stared at each other from across a gap of inches, neither of them saying anything. Marth looked from Neil to Graig in confusion. Suddenly, Marth felt the compulsive urge to go for his gun. Over on the other side, he heard the dog begin to growl, as if scencing something that presented a threat. Craig:Wha isit, boy? Suddenly, the dog's growl became a dopplered sound, as if there were two dogs..Suddenly, the growling increased in volume, until all three humans covered their ears. Out of the opressing fog, more than a dozen hell-hounds stalked toward them, starting at the four with hungry, dead eyes. With a blur of motions, all the men had their respective weapons out, pointed at the dogs. Marth:You know what? I'm really starting to hate these stupid dogs! In tandeem, all the hell-hounds lept, and the sounds of gun-fire, and shell casings hitting the ground penetrated the air around them. The dogs blew apart, and those who came Neil limped aside with gaping knife wounds. Marth fired his pistol, taking out another dog, but more kept coming from around them...
Juu
Astreè woke at the sound of gunfire, stirring harshly at the sounds. She winced at the pain at her side as she rolled to her stomach. Then, she placed her palm over her bedpost, and pulled herself up. Another gunshot could be heard, as a clamor of voices followed. Inquisitively, she approached her window with caution, still shaking from the pain at her side. Distant barking echoed through the trees, as shouts of terror and anger swept across her front yard. All of a sudden, the area silenced. Crackles of bullets waned into no more than a wisp of sound. Astreè gasped, as her eyes widened with fear. Quickly, she stood up, grasping her wound, and opened the doors to her wardrobe. She pulled out a large, thick coat, and placed it over her shoulders. After that, she pulled out a small 8ml handgun, and hurried outside. The fog's density had lessened, and she could now easily see about seven feet ahead of her. Astreè could hear voices, humanly voices. They aimed their weapons at the beast below, and shot it three times before it finally collapsed before them. Just then, one of the men turned, and aimed his gun towards her. "-the hell is that!?" The man exclaimed, aiming his gun towards Astreè. Astreè quickly pulled out her handgun, and aimed it back towards him, ignoring the pain in her shoulder. A third figure approached her slowly, gesturing for her to put her gun down. Abruptly, she aimed the weapon towards him, her eyes narrowing. "Who are you?" Astreè spoke, glaring. "This is Neil Parks, Marth Rigfield, and I'm Crieg Parks. What are you doing here??" Crieg replied gently. Astreè lowered her gun, as Marth lowered his. She eyed the three once more, before she began to speak. "I live here. That's my house up ahead." She replied. Raiha
Astreé inclined her head, before she looked out past them and saw something else walking forwards. Tall, but decidedly female by the looks of it. She could hear the sound of metal clinking against metal, and the smell of leather and delicate moonflowers rose from the air. Once she was about half way there, the figure stopped and put one foot slightly behind the other. Astreé: ...is that you Shalistrae? The figure's eyes flashed silver and she bowed deeply, tipping the ground with her fingertips and turning around to face them once more. Neil stared. For a moment, she had reminded him of either a bad dream, or a reptile he had seen a long time ago. Shalistrae: Hello Astreé. I heard the gunshots....but obviously arrived too late. I would've shown up earlier if I had known you would be entertaining... Her pale, clear eyes washed over the three men.....then she smiled slightly. The teeth she showed were perfect, save a streak of blood on her left canine. Astreé: What happened to you then? Shalistrae: The usual. I was wandering, got attacked, impaled a few men here and there....you know the story. Astreé: Did you bring me a gift then? The older woman nodded and reached into her rucksack. With a deft flick of her wrist, she tossed something to the girl. It glinted palely, then came to rest in Astreé's palm. A perfect snake armlet, with sapphire eyes. Juu
Astreè studied it, stroking the unique, detailed design engraved on it. It felt both cold and warm at the same time. There was an odd, chilling vibe emerging from the armlet, while the warmth of Shalistrae's hand still remained. Astreè smiled, and admired it once more. After all the queer events that had been happening, she had forgotten all about her own birthday... She turned, and saw the two men who had been at her house earlier. Both waved to her mother, and drove away. The fog, luckily, had drifted further west. The tense lessened between the group, creating a calmer atmosphere. Shalistrae folded her arms on her chest, and glanced around. "There were two police at my house earlier. They weren't chasing after you, were they? They talked about something chasing them earlier." Astreè teased, smirking at her old friend. "Of course not. If I wanted to kill them, I would've thought of a better way than that." Shalistrae replied, unmoved. Rali: I must be crazy. Let's go... And try to make it quick. At that moment they heard a shrill scream from within(for smokey joe) and in that split second one wouldn't think that a semi-fat and middle aged man could run so fast. The Harlequin
Rali stopped, frustrated. This was getting over the top. The entire place had gone crazy, this guy was definately crazy. And the scream didn't sound like it had come from anyone sane either. But then, sanity had never been one of Rali's faults. Not anymore anyway. He stalked in, slowly. It was unlikely he'd run into anything unannounced, at the very least by Damien's mutilated corpse, but somehow that thought was less comforting than it should have been. They always were. Everyone likes the blood and the screaming and the death until they're surrounded in it. But then, on the other hand, moderation if for monks. There's no such thing as too much. There's no such thing as enough either. That in mind, a knife in hand, Rali kept walking into the forsaken hospital.
Heartless Me
When Rali turned the corner, he nearly bumped head long into a very motionless Damien. Damien's eyes were wide and frightened and his entire body paled. For a good reason. He was witnessing a body chained to the wall with many different small creatures crawling in and out of the corpse. Rali: Well that's a new one. Just then Damien proceeds to turn his head and regurgitate over his right shoulder. Rali turned his head away. He was interested by death it seemed but the sight of vomit noone liked. When he was finished he wiped his mouth and looked at the body, it had a large pipe imbedded into it's chest. He looked back at Rali as though he had just seen a ghost. Rali: I knew we shouldn't have gone in here. We're probably going to end up like that guy. Soon they heard the shuffling of feet. It wasn't a normal footstep like any other person. It sounded more sluggish and inhuman. Rali and Damien both turned around towards the noise in time to see the corpse of another man shuffling around the corner, he was dragging a huge fire ax behind him. Almost as if out of reflex Rali reached over and ripped the pipe from the dead man's chest and wielded it ready to defend against the axe-blade wielding zombie. In the mean time Damien was facing a different problem. Three chitin armored and fanged fetuses had crawled from three holes on the ground and in the walls and had started to approach on him. The Harlequin
The man, or zombie, as it appeared to be, raised his ax, and brought it down. Rali stepped right, holding the pipe up, sloping down from right to left. As the ax slid off, though it jarred his arm, Rali spun right. The zombie's momentum carried it forward past him, and as Rali spun fully around, he brought the pipe into the back of the man's neck. He stumbled, and fell, but started to get up. Rali took a step back, wary. He spun the pipe through his fingers, catching it in a dagger like grip. With it held across his body, he stepped forward and swept it across the man's throat. The jagged edge of the metal ripped out the man's throat. It didn't faze him, but that was never Rali's intent. He spun the pipe back into a forehand grip before he'd finished the swing, brought his arm back, and knocked through the exposed spine, which nearly exploded. The looping attack had always been unexpected in those hazy years where he had gone at people with chains and clubs. The dead, it seemed, reacted no differently. Rali stepped back, making sure he wouldn't rise again. He didn't seem likely to, judging by his unmoving state. Rali turned to help Damien.
Heartless Me
Damien's eyes widened by the first tiny dagger wielding fetus' blurred movements, god those things were fast! It seemed to scoot along with a jolt of celerity as the blade ran acrossed his loose jeans cutting them wide open just barely missing his leg. he was prepared by the time the next demonic baby charged, he reached out as it leaped into the air at him and grabbed it by it's tiny arm and slammed The Unborn against the wall watching it splatter with a sickening noise and a cropping of blood that seemed like a huge waterballoon popped. Damien so sickened by this didn't see the third creature diving at him and jamming the knife into his foot he cried out and lifted his other foot kicking it's head off it's shoulders, the fetus fell to the ground unmoving. as he reached down and yanked the small knife out of his foot wiht a cry he heard a clank of metal and a thud. Looking back he saw the remains of the first baby splattered against the other wall and Rali recovering from what looked like a baseball swing. He looked down at his foot bleeding through his shoe. Damien: That's why I never want to have kids. Rali found it very difficult not to let out a half hearted smirk at that, as mordrid his personality was, he was not as dead as these f*cks so neither was his personality. He looked around. Rali: Let's see if we can scrounge up some bandages in this slaughter hole. Damien: Good Idea. Damien winced with each step as he walks down the hallway peeking into random roooms hoping to find a first aid kit and no more babies or zombies. Juu
Astree smiled, and opened the door. The car wasn't in the yard, so she supposed her mother had left. Marth stepped inside, then Creig, then Neil. Shalistrae hesitated before going inside, and sniffed the air again before stepping in as well. Astree went in last, and shut the door behind them. "Sorry for the mess. Just wait in the living room. I'll go get you guys some food."
