I now create my Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon. Yugi: Impressive. I'll end my turn. Joey: Man, he knows how to make that cool thing! Ryan: Meh. I draw (Swords of revealing light.) I play this. Swords of Revealing Light! Yugi: What?! I thought I only had that card! Ryan: I also bring out Summoned Skull. I first attack with REBMD and then take 2500 off your life points. You're at 1500 LP. A giant blue monster appears, and waves a fist at the dinosaur. Ryo: Since the attack is equal, I'll just keep my monster for another turn. Not to mention laying two cards face down. Your turn Rex! (1600/800) A few people ahd started watching the duel. Rex: I'll lay one monster face down, and end lay one card face down. That'll end my turn! Ryo: I'll scarifice my Bazoo, to play my Marie the Fallen Angel! (1700/1200) Go Marie, attack his King rex! The dakr angel sliced thorugh his lizard. Rex's lifepoints went down by a small 100 points. Ry: 4000 / RX: 3900 Rex flipepd over his new monster and sent it charging. Ryo just flipped over Negate Attack, and blocked it. It was Ryo's turn now. Ryo: I'll lay one monster face down, and have Marie switch to defense mode. Rex laughed when he saw this move. Ryo put one more M/t card down,a nd ended his turn. Bandit Keith, having lost his hard edge that once made him a fearsome opponent, was down to 1500 Life Points. Kyriss was on 2050. On his side of the field were a Dark Magician and Invitation to a Dark Sleep; and on Bandit Keith's was a Barrel Dragon, currently not able to attack anything. Kyriss drew from his deck. It was the Sword of Dark Destruction. "Your luck's run out, Keith. I power up my Dark Magician with the Sword of Dark Destruction, raising his attack power to 2900. And I attack your weak Barrel Dragon." "No!" Keith could only watch as the Dark Magician's attack vaporised his machine, and left him completely open to another attack. His Life Points shot down to 1200. "Now to end this. Invitation to a Dark Sleep- attack!" Keith's obscenities could be heard from the other end of the ship. Onlookers applauded the match's winner, who stood over Keith smugly. "Watch where [i]you[/i] walk next time." Kyriss spat. He hated dishonourable duellists; especially Keith, whom he'd know for five years. He walked off, content with his humiliating victory. As he rounded a corner, he noticed something. A man holding a large piece of wood. "Strange." he murmured. Intrigued, he followed him. The man arrived at a corridor where a boy was standing, holding a stack of locator cards. Kyriss watched as the man with the wood seemed to try and move past, but suddenly raised the wood into the air, ready to strike. "Watch out!" Kyriss yelled, lunging for the man. The boy turned round just in time as the wood whistled past his shoulder. Kyriss slammed an elbow into the man's back and he fell to the floor. Kyriss grabbed his shoulder to swing him onto his front, but the man kicked out with his foot, catching him in the stomach. The boy ran after him a short way but wasn't fast enough to catch him. Adjusting his deck sightly, he put his side-deck back into his pocket and clicked his main deck into place. The girl did the same. She looked much younger than him, with long blonde hair. "What's your name, by the way?" he asked, curious. "Rebecca Hawkins." she said curtly, before her seemingly innocent expression turned to one of severe determination. "And you must be Finished!" Ryan: Well, umm, just to talk I guess? Arkis: About what? Ryan: Ummm... How many locater cards do you have? Arkis pulled out of his pocket 20 locater cards. Ryan: TWENTY!? How on earth have you gotten twenty on your first day? Arkis: Simple, prey on the predators. The top duelist have the most locater cards, though it's harder to take them down, the bounty is worth it. Now, is that it? Ryan: Ummm, well, wanna go over here and meet some of my friends? Arkis: Maybe another time. He then pulled a ball out of his pocket and hurled it into the ground. A huge puff of smoke consumed him, and as it cleared, he had vanished. Many people where taking about what happened. Hyper Posted March 20, 2003 Share Posted March 20, 2003 Rex's new monster went charging towards his Fallen Angel. Ryo seemed happy as it was destroyed. Now it was Ryo's turn. Rex loked dumbdounded as Ryo's lifepoints increased by 200. RX: 3900 / RY: 4200 Ryo: When my Angel is in the graveyard, I gain 200 lifepoints every turn. He layed one monster in defense mode, then layed another M/T card face down. On Rex's turn, he removed his King Rex, to play the Rock Spirit . It went charging towards his face down monster. It's atatck increased by 300 points, because of tias effetc. It gains 300 ATK in the battle Phase. Ryo happily flipped over oen of his face down trap cards, Magic Cylidners, preventing the attack yet again. Rex looked frustrated. Ryo's LP increased by 200 again. RX: 1900 RY: 4400 Ryo flipped over the face down monster, XENO. It took control of Rex's Rock Spirit. Rex was horrified as it came crashing towards him, wiping out the rest of his lifepoints. Ryo walked over and claimed his 7 locator cards, adding to his collection of 10. 17 cards was satisfying him. [ I know I didn't write all the duels for those, but if some people ahve 20+, I'm going to need to catch up. You already got 7 cards? This should prove to be interesting..." Hermes noted. "The first move is yours!" "Very well! I summon the Golden Swordfish, in attack mode. I also lay one card face-down." A shining yellow swordfish appeared and wiggled menacingly in the airs with it's pointed nose. (1650/1200) [i]Hummm... I think I'll let that little fellah use it's effect...[/i] "I summon the Meridion Sphinx, in attack mode!" (1300/1800) "And I actiavte it's effect." "What is it?" "When summoned in attack mode, we both ask each others a riddle. If one of us can't reply it, all of his monsters are destroyed." "Very well." [i]Mako's riddle:[/i] Two fathers and two sons went fishing. Everyone caught a fish. But there were only three fish. How is this possible? [i]Hermes' riddle[/i] What loses its head in the morning and gets it back every night? Hermes had to though of it a bit, and finally found the answer: "There was a boy, his father and his grandfather." Mako seemed to be trying to scratch it's head off, but in the end... "I don't know..." As soon as he said it, a laser ray shot from the sphinx's eyes and destroyed his swordfish. "If you are interested to know, the answer was 'a pillow'. Now, Meridion Sphinx, attack him directly! Sun Breath!" A river of yellow flammes from the statue's mouth streamed at Mako. (4000->2700) "Your turn." "Yes, indeed. I summon the Silver Swordfish in attack mode!" A second, shining grey swordfish appeared. (1700/1300) "I also play Atlantis, the Legendary City! It raises my monster's attack and defense by 200." Water flooded the arena and a large floating city appeared over Mako's field. The fish was now hidden underwater. 1700/1300->1900/1500 "Now, my fish, Silver Harpoon!" The sphinx was quickly impaled to his death from underside. (4000->3600) The fish then returned to hide. "It is my turn, now, and I summon Little Chimera(600/550), in attack mode. I then uses Heaven's Fury to transform it into Chimera the Fearless!"(2400/2200) A large creature with three heads (a lion, a snake and a goat) and three serpents as tails now stood on Hermes' field. The monster took flight above the water and attacked, but only successed in generating a huge smoke. "Urgh, he must be preparing for some big summon..." "I now summon the Emerald Swordfish. He combines with my Silver Swordfish and together they are the Jewel Whale!" A monster appeared. A whale with an half of silver, and the other half made of shining green stone. (2300/1950)->(2500/2150) "Jewel Whale, attack! Precious Typhoon!" A typhoon raised from the water at Chimera. "Not so fast! Activate magic card: Reverse Trap!" A masked phantom floated across the field. The whale's attack failed and it exploded in bits of silver and green. "What was that?" asked indignantly Mako. "A simple card really, it changes attack increases to decreses and vice-versa. It dropped your attack down to 2100." Mako glared. (2700->2400) "I'll lay a card face-down before I end my turn." "I then summon the Hellish Bear! in attack mode." (1300/1800) The chained and fierce-looking bear foamed at the mouth. It's reddish fur was pierced with bone pikes at several places. "Fearless Chimera, Attack!" An unexpected thing suddenly happened: All the sea's water raised into tornadoes that got in the way of Chimera's attack. "Unfortunately, my Wall of Tornadoes protect me from all direct attacks. Now it is my turn. I don't know whether or not I told you about this other effect of my City of Atlantis? It reduces the level of all the water cards I hold in my hand by two, allowing me to summon... Amphibian Beast!" (2400/2000)->(2600/2200) "And this time, no Reverse Trap will get in the way of your Chimera's destruction! Oceanic Rush!" This time, Chimera was destroyed. (3600->3400) "I will switch my Hellish Bear into defense mode. Then I'll summon the Red Cyclop, in attack mode! I will also remove my Meridion Sphinx from the graveyard to allow the summon of my Stone Spirit Titan!" Both monsters appeared. The Red Cyclop was a red-eyed giant with a flamme atop his head (1800/1700). Titan was a stone man clad in armor and brandishing an axe (1700/1200). "I will lay a card face-down, and end my turn." "I summon a monster." announced Mako, but both the stats and the image of the monster remained invisible. Then it came: various harpoons pierced through Hermes' Red Cyclop, destroying it. (3400->3150) [i]Where did that attack came from?[/i] "And now, Amphibian Beast, destroy the Titan!" Hermes Cringed as a wall of water crashed on his monster. (3150->2550) "Hey! You should have lost nine hundred life points!" "I should, but my Titan's attack is increased by three hundred points when it is attacked." Mako: 2400 Hermes: 2550 [i][size=1]I know I'm fudging up a bit with some cards effects, but You'll have to admit it makes those duels more interesting? BTW, if someone plans on dueling me, I'd be glad once I'm done with beating Mako! La Jinn couldn't move. a ring was trapped around it. Will: No no, SpellBinding circle. My turn. Will draws a white magical hat. I'll set this card in defence mode and turn Gemini elf in defence. Hunter: Ahh running scared. My turn. Kaiba: Stop the match! Will: Kaiba! Oooh I'll get you. Kaiba: So we meet again Will. That Blue Eyes you used to own is serving me well. Will: I challenge you to get my Blue Eyes back. Kaiba: First you have to get yourself some locator cards. Here's 5 out of pity.*Will takes them angerly* Oh and stay away from theives like those guys.
