RPG Yu-Gi-Oh! Battle Cruise!

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan had been walking around the ship for awhile longer when he saw Hermes dueling a guy that looked like Mai, must be her brother, in their letters to each other Mai had sent a picture of her and her brother. He seemed to use the same theme of deck as his sister. After observing the duel for a little longer Ryan turned and headed for the main dueling arena. Since the first elimination took place the dueling arena was much more quiet. Someone caught his eye. It was a kid that was dueling so metodically Ryan had to challenge him.[/i]

Ryan: You wanna duel?

Kid: Yeah.

Ryan: What's your name?

Kid: My friends call me Chris.

Ryan: Well Chris shall we begin?

Chris: Yes, let's.

[i]The two flicked on their duel disk simulators and got ready to duel.[/i][/COLOR]

[Circ]

"Shut up! I play Shield and Sword!"

"Uh oh..." Stats reversed on the field.

Harpie's Pet Dragon (3000/2700)->(2700/3000)
Harpie Lady (1800/1000)->(1000/1800)
Harpie lady sister (2600/1200)->(1200/2600)
Herakles (2700/2000)->(2000/2700)

"And Harpie's Pet Dragon, attack Herakles! Stomping Crash"

The dragon stomped on Herakles and destroyed it. (1350->650)

"It's my turn, and I first play Coins from Heaven, filling our hands up to five cards. I also play a card face-down and I summon the Wacky Leprechaun, in attack mode!" A small green-clothed imp looked impishly at Kai.

"This duel ends now!" Kai yelled, taking his turn.

"I don't think so!" Hermes retorted. "Activate Trap: Book of Ages! It sets all life points to what they were three turns ago." (650/2800)->(1800/3100)

"You wanna prolong your suffering? It's up to you, I suppose! Harpie's Pet Dragon, destroy this leprechaun! Stomping Crash!"

As usual, the leprechaun got a coin of of thin air and flipped. It landed on a leaf. (2700/3000)->(1350/1500) The leprechaun quickly strangle the pet dragon with it's own leash. (3100->2950)

"How did that happen?"

"Monsters attacking the Wacky Leprechaun have their attack halved." Hermes explained.

"I summon the Winged Wiseman Farcos, then I end my turn." (1700/1200)->(2200/800)

"Now it is mine, and I lay two cards face-down. I also summon the Trap Master, destroying your Mirror Wall!" Trap Master (500/1100) walked cautiously up to Kai's monsters. When the Mirror Wall activated, it struck it with a tuning-fork. The wall shattered.

"Now, my leprechaun, attack the Harpie Sister! Golden Clover! (2950->2650) Your Turn, Kai."

"I love these words... Winged Wiseman, attack the Trap Master!"

Unfortunately, the attack entered a oh-so-familiar horn and struck back Kai. (2650->1550)

"This is exactly the reason I think revenge and anger doesn't belong in the game of Duel Monsters. It always ends up causing stupid mistakes." Hermes sighed.

"We will see! Your trap isn't going to protect agaisnt a second attack! Harpie Lady, destroy Trap Master!"

"Activate card, Useless Bargain! It makes my monster's attack the same as his defense!" (500/1100->1100/1100)

"Uh?" Kai spurted in surprise as the harpie was destroyed. (1550->1450)

"I don't like this, But it has to be done. I sacrifice my Trap Master to summon Hades, King of the Underworld. Using the magic card Last Will, I also summon the Two-Headed Cerberus."

Hades: 2450/1600
Two-Headed Cerberus: 1500/1000

"Here goes my locator cards." muttered Kai.

"Hades, destroy Farcos! (1450->1200) Then my Wacky Leprechaun goes for your Harpie Sister! (1200->700) And Two-Headed Cereberus, attack him directly! (700->0)"

"I failed." Simply said Kai.

"You didn't." Hermes said. "You tried, and I think you got over that hatre you had."

"Yeah right." Kai snorted. He handed over his Locator cards. "Gotta start over again."

"Maybe we'll duel again. I hope this time it will be a better duel."

"Me too." Kai said softly.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan looked over his opening hand. Penguin Soldier, Bait Doll, Pot of Greed, and Gearfried. Chris was to begin first.[/i]

Chris: I set one m/t face down and one monster in face down defense mode and end my turn.

Ryan: Okay, I'll play Bait Doll and force the activation of that face down card.

Chris: Crap, my trap hole is destroyed.

Ryan: And Bait Doll is returned to my deck. I now summon Gearfried in ATK mode and attack your monster.

Chris: Meh, It was Harpie's Brother. I'll draw and set another monster face down and end my turn.

Ryan: Okay, I'll draw (Sangan) and play Pot of Greed and draw two more. (BEWD and Royal Command) and set one monster face down and end my turn.

Chris: I'll draw and set one monster face down again and end my turn.

Ryan: I'll flip my Penguin Soldier and then sacrafice both my monsters for Blue Eyes White Dragon!

Chris: Uh-oh...

[i]Meanwhile, Yugi had taken a seat overlooking Ryan's duel against Chris. Unfortunately Ryan was about to soon find out that Chris was just toying with him. Chris had three powerful machine cards, that by themselves were rather weak but when combined they were an extremely powerful force. Yugi just hoped Ryan could figure this out before Chris started to go on the offensive.[/i][/COLOR]

[Solo Tremaine]

Kyriss wandered around, holding his sixteen locator cards. His mind was still racing after the duel yesterday...

[i]"Let me see your hand." Faron demanded.

Kyriss stood back a bit. "Wh-why?"

Faron put her hands on her hips. "I don't think you're being fair, Kyriss. Can I see?"

Kyriss sighed. "I..."

She walked over to him and forced his hand. Upon seeing the cards, whe smiled. "You could have won easily. Why didn't you play your cards?"

Kyriss sighed. "I... it just didn't feel right. I didn't want to-"

She silenced him by placing a finger on his mouth. "Kyriss, you duel to win, not to let other people win."

Kyriss's wide-eyed stare changed into a slightly harder expression. "You aren't just saying that, are you?"

Faron shook her head, blushing slightly. "No. If you have a move to play then play it. I didn't come here expecting to win."

"Then why do you duel?" he blurted out.

"I've never been to a competition before. I wanted to see what it was like. Especially one held by Seto Kaiba. A lot of the male duellists are cute." she giggled, making Kyriss blush. She walked over to him and removed six locator cards from around her neck.

"You deserve these. It was your match."

Kyriss stood in front of her, feeling ridiculously small and child-like. She was so perfect...

He nodded slowly. "But I've forfeit now."

"I'd rather you took these Kyriss. Competitions aren't for me. I'm a peaceful duellist by heart and these tend to be too agressive for my liking. I have planety of friends at home who aren't nearly so serious about duelling."

Kyriss held the locator cards tightly in his hand and smiled. "Thank you Faron. But... I can't give you these for nothing." He shuffled though his deck and pulled out a card- Hyozanryu. He handed it to her firmly. "It didn't fit in my deck. Please take it for me."

Faron took it and placed it into her deck. "Thanks Kyriss. Your accent... it's English, isn't it?"

Kyriss nodded. "I thought so. I may well cathc you around sometime." Winking, she left and disappeared round the corner.[/i]

He now had sixteen locator cards. Another four and he could make it past the second elimination. If he won the prize at the end of it, he'd make sure he could see Faron again.

A boy, younger then he was, saw him looking over the railings and out to sea. Sliding towards him on his roller blades, he sidled up to Kyriss.

"Hey, want to duel?" he asked loudly. Kyriss turned to face him, clipped his deck in place and nodded.

"Four locator cards too much for you?" The boy said smugly, holding up his bundle of sixteen.

Kyriss snorted. "Let's duel!"

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan was somewhat happy to have his most powerful dragons out on the field, but something seemed off. Chris seemed to be acting like he was an ametur but Ryan had seen him duel one of the better duelists and beat them easily, something was up.[/i]

Ryan: Why are you playing dumb??

Chris: Huh?

Ryan: You're acting like you don't even know how to duel and yet I saw you cream one of the other duelists back there. You literally tore him apart, I wanna know why you're playing dumb.

Chris: I don't think I am. Oh well. Is it my turn?

Ryan: Yes.

[i]Chris drew his card. After looking at it intently he smiled a little bit. Ryan was right, he was just stringing him along. Very soon he would have his other two cards and then he would be ready to get serious.[/i]

Ryan: I know you're playing stupid so I'll draw (Humanoid Slime) and set one monster in defense mode and end my turn.

Chris: I'll draw and summon the Y-Dragon Head and equip it with the Z-Metal Catapillar. I also set one m/t face down and end my turn.

Ryan: Whoa! That's one weird looking machine type. Impressive though. I'll draw (Mirror force) and set one m/t down and end my turn.

Chris: I'll draw and summon my Fiend Megacyber.

Ryan: Wha?! Oh crap.

Chris: I now equip it with Lightning Blade and end my turn.

Ryan: Oh. Heh. I'll draw (Summoned Skull) and sacrafice my Humanoid Slime for my Summoned Skull!!!

Chris: Peh. Oh well.

Ryan: I'm going to finish this right now! Blue Eyes!! Attack the Y-Dragon Head!!!

Chris: Meh. Oh well.

Ryan: I'll end my turn.

Chris: Too bad. I'll now have Fiend Megacyber destroy your Summoned Skull.

Ryan: Too bad for you. Mirror Force!

Chris: Crap! I'll end my turn.

Ryan: I'm sorry to do this, you are a great duelist. Blue Eyes and Summoned Skull attack!!

[i]Both monsters launched their attacks and finished off Chris' life points. After the dust setteled Yugi looked at the seat next to him. There was an envelope adressed to him. He opened it up and read. After reading the letter several times Yami took over and bolted out of the arena and to Kaiba's office.

Meanwhile back at the arena. Ryan walked over and shook hands with Chris.[/i]

Ryan: Good duel man.

Chris: Thanks. Here's one locator card.

Ryan: Nah, keep it. I have too many already. Again that was a great duel.

Chris: Thanks.[/COLOR]

Ryo: 21 locator cards. Heh. After this elimination I'd start to pick up. My dueling skills might go rusty, and I'll have another 9 to go.

For the rest of the day, Ryo cruised around and watched a few duels. He happened to get bumped by Yami, who was speeding off toward's the top of the deck. Ryo followed in his previous direction and came along to the end of Ryan's duel.

Ryo: You didn't take the locator card. Giving people second chances. Quite thoughtful.
Ryan: I have enough already.
Ryo: You probably do. Anyways, I'll be talkg to you. I have to go hunt a few duelists so I'll be ready after this elemination. You might want to do the same.
Ryan: I'll keep it in mind. Take care!
Ryo: Alright. You too.

[Circ]

Two shadows suddenly landed behind Hermes, startling Kai.

"We challenge you, Mythic duelist!" The first announced.

"We already put you on our elimination list!" an identical men continued.

"And you shall duel us two..."

"Or we will just cream you!"

"A partner you are in dire need of!"

"For you can't resist our wrath as eliminators!"

And they launched in some acrobatic display.

Hermes looked at these annoying guys angrily.

"I may not have a partner in dueling, but I still can take you both on!"

"Ah! You fool!" they chorused. Kai suddenly stepped next to Hermes.

"I will partner him." Hermes looked in surprise, then smiled.

"Thank you, Kai."

"It's nothing." He then whispered in his ear. "Watch out for these guys, they are really dangerous, and they use the Gate Guardian!"

Hermes' eyes widened. [i]The Gate Guardian?[/i]

It happened so that the turns would go Kai - Para - Hermes - Dox.

"Since your friend only has 7 cards, he shall set a minimal!" the brothers indicated.

"So it will be," Kai glared at them.

[i]Be carefull, Kai, it'd be a shame if you were already eliminated...[/i]

"As my first move, I summon Tornado Bird in defense mode! I also play a card face-down." A large and brightly colored bird appeared on Kai's part of the dueling field. (1100/1000) It shielded itself with it's wings as his defense position.

"[url=http://www.cardhaus.com/images/305-018.jpg]Inferno Queen Demon[/url]! in defense mode!" Was Para's move. The monster drapped itself in it's cape. (900/1500) "And a face-down card!"

"I summon the [url=http://www.cardhaus.com/images/305-014.jpg]Red Cyclop[/url], in attack mode!" Hermes announced.

"And to close this first round, [url=http://www.cardhaus.com/images/305-014.jpg]Hell Pawn Demon[/url], in attack mode! as well as two face-down cards!" The fiend struck a fighting pose. (1200/200)

"As my turn comes, I switch my Tornado Bird into attack mode! This immediately returns 2 face-down cards into their owners' hands, namely both of yours!" He pointed to Dox, who snatched them back scowling. "I also sacrifice him to summon [url=http://www.cardhaus.com/images/Bc-60.jpg]Sky Dragon[/url], in attack mode!" The violet dragon landed after a spiral dive. (1900/1800)

"Now, destroy the Pawn Demon with your Rain of Flammes!" Kai ordered. Unfortunately, the Pawn Demon easily withstood the attack (1200/200)->(2200/200).

"How can that be?" Hermes wondered.

"Let me explain." Para interrupted. "During a standby phase, I can chose any 'Demon' monster on the field and increase it's attack by 1000."

Kai looked blankly (4000->3700), but managed to set a card face-down.

"Now, for my turn, I will simply summon the [url=http://www.cardhaus.com/images/Sc-09.jpg]Dark Bishop Demon[/url], in attack mode." (300/1400)

[i]What are these two up to?[/i]

"First, I lay a card face-down, then I summon the [url=http://www.cardhaus.com/images/Sc-08.jpg]Two-Headed Cerberus[/url]. Attack mode!" (1500/1000) Hermes smirked. "Even if your Queen Demon boost it, your Bishop is too weak to survive my attacks. Two-Headed Cerberus, Nightmare Flammes!"

The monster met with a surprise: The Pawn Demon jumped in the way of the attack and sliced both heads off. (4000->3300)

"It's a bit more complex than that," Dox chuckled. "While my Hell Pawn Demon is on the field, he is the only demon you can attack."

"Then I switch my monster into defense mode."

"It won't help you! Watch as I summon Thunder Dragon." The green serpentine dragon crawled up and eyed Kai's empty field. (1600/1500) "Attack his life points with Swift Lightning!" Thunder Dragon fired several lightning bolts at Kai.

"Activate Attack-Scattering Prism!" A vertical crystal pillar absorbed the attack through a side and the lightning dispersed through the two other sides.

"Now I summon Blue-Winged Crown, in attack mode! I also play Rising Air Currents!." The blue bird with a red tuft screeched. (1600/1300)->(2000/900) "I lay a card face-down and I destroy your Hell Pawn Demon!" (4000->3200)

"Now, this has been going for long enough! I sacrifice both of my monsters to summon Suijin! Destroy his defense monster, Tidal Surge!" (2500/2400) The massive tidal wave washed over Hermes' monster.

"I can only play this: Nymph of the Salmacis Fountain, in defense mode." A pool with a watery woman appeared. (300/1000)

[i]So you wanna play Gate Guardian, I'll show you a guardian...[/i]

Ryan:You okay?

Shinji's face was all red.He had thrown up.

Ryan:Motion sickness eh?
Shinji:Yup.Too...Much...Food
Ryan:Oh please, *covers eyes*

Shinji took a shower, *narrator hurls from seeing Shinji hurl*.I guess I'll take one too.

Shinji was bored, and I mean BORED!There were no duelists to duel.He sleep the whole day, or at least the day.There was a riot outside.People didn't want to get eliminated and crap.Shinji revised his deck the next morning, putting in MOBC.[/b][/size][/color]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan had seen Yugi sitting in the arena seats and then as soon as his duel was over Yugi had vamoosed in quite a hurry. After Ryo had walked off Ryan took off in the direction of Kaiba's office, something was up and he felt like he should find out. After arriving on the bridge Ryan burst through the door to Kaiba's office and both Yugi and Kaiba turned to face him.[/i]

Ryan: I saw you watching me duel Yugi and then leave. What's wrong??

Yugi: This.

[i]Yugi handed Ryan a letter that had been written in Japanese.[/i]

Ryan: Uhhhhh...I don't know Japanese.

Yugi: Basically it says that the god cards we posses are nothing but weak kittens. There are cards far more powerful..

Kaiba: I didn't believe it at first but then I started to piece things together..

[i]Just then Kaiba's cell phone rang, he picked it up and answered.[/i]

Kaiba: Uh-huh. You're sure? Right... I'm on my way there now. We'll have to finish this later. Right now I need you Yugi to come with me. Ryan just go about dueling and winning.

Ryan: Okay. I will. See ya later.

[i]Ryan headed out the door after Kaiba and Yugi did. A little bit of walking around Ryan saw another group of people dueling. He decided to sit down and watch the duel. The younger kid was holding his ground pretty well, he had just summoned Gia the Fierce Knight and was going on a rampage, but then the opposing kid brought out his Summoned Skull and started to beef it up with equip cards etc., now the kid was in deep crap and was getting beaten. Ryan was getting entertained by this, he took up a comfortable seat and watch the duel rage on.[/i][/COLOR]

[Hyper]

Ryo, aimlessly walking around the cruise ship in search of entertainment, decided to see if he could find out anything about that mysterious group of duelists.

As best as he could remember, he tried to find the hidden chamber where he dueled. Sure enough he was able to find a small hole behind a cargo box. Inside was just a duelign arena, with a door across the room. He followed into the room, to find a small executive roo, with two cloaked figures talking in Japanese.

[I figure this could be their code language,s ince they wrote the letters in Japanese]

As much as ryo knew from his grandmother, Ryo could make out a few parts of the conversation.

??1: ..found it...
??2:...so that means...
??1: ...plan...good...
??1:...Take action..

And then the two instantly vanished. Ryo walked into a room only to find it empty, with a few semi-rare cards on the ground. Ryo picked them and took them with him. [:D]

[These cards don't really make a difference in the plot]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]The duel had been dragging on and Ryan wasn't getting very entertained, he needed action, he needed fun. He needed something!!! "GAH!!! I'm so bored!!!" Ryan thought as he stood up from the chair and headed back down to the main dueling arena. Once he entered Ryan saw Joey whipping a younger duelist as soon as his duel was over Joey came over with a look of anticipation on his face.[/i]

Ryan: I see you won your duel. So, you wanna duel Joey?

Joey: Uhhhhhh....Sure, why not?

Ryan: Okay.

[i]The flicked on their duel disk systems and got ready to duel.[/i][/COLOR]

Kyriss didn't like the look of this boy. He looked small, vicious and overly-confident. He drew five cards from his Duel Disk system and glowered at him over his cards. The boy sneered smugly.

Kyriss had Neo the Magic Swordsman, Sword of Deep-Seated, Wall Shadow, Lightning Blade and Magical Labyrinth.

The boy drew his cards and laughed. "My name's Jared. Remember it, this defeat will burn into your mind." he hissed. He was surprisingly disturbing for being a few years younger.

"You're very vicious for a little kid." Kyriss muttered. A sharp pain burst into his face, and he felt a trickle of blood run down his cheek. The boy growled at him, holding a small blow-pipe.

"A warrior always comes prepared." Jared barked, brandishing a small blade and shoving it into the end of his blowpipe.

"You disgusting little wretch!" Kyriss yelled,the pain seering into his cheek.

Jared smiled smugly. "Now we know where we stand, I play Hibikime in attack mode! And..." he said, holding up a card and staring at it madly. "...I lay one card face down."

Kyriss watched the card appear on the floor in front of them. He couldn't be sure it wasn't a Trap Hole, but there was only one way to find out. He drew from his Deck. Shield and Sword. Fantastic! His Wall Shadow combo was almost complete. All he needed was the Labyrinth Wall.

"I play Neo the Magic Swordsman in attack mode." He chose not to attack- he had no idea what that trap could be. And if this guy duelled as disgustingly as he was normally, it could be something nasty. "And that ends my turn."

"Hah!" Jared scoffed, drawing a card. "I play The Unfriendly Amazon in attack mode!" [i][NB: 2000/1000][/i] "Attack Neo, my Amazon warrior!"

Kyriss watched Neo disappear in a flash of light as the Unfriendly Amazon sliced through him with ease, and his Life Points dropped to 3700.

"Now, Hibikime! Attack his Life Points directly!"

Kyriss ducked as the massive beast-warrior threw the holographic axe in his directino and cut his Life Points down to 2250. Jared laughed again, a high-pitched cackled which hurt Kyriss' ears. "I also activate my Trap Card- Ultimate Offering! It allows me to have one extra Normal Summon or Set per turn at a cost of 500 Life Points."

A new monster arose on the field- Milus Radiant. "Milus Radiant raises the attck power of all of my Earth monsters by 500 points, which leaves you with nothing to protect yourself with! Hahaha! You've lost already!"

Kyriss clenched his fist and drew another card. He wouldn't lose to thic creep. "I play Hayabusa Knight in Attack Mode. This monster also gains an attack bonus from your Milus Radiant."

"It's still too pathetic to attack me!" Jared spat.

"But that's not all! I equip Hayabusa Knight with Lightning Blade, raising its attack power by 800 points- to 2300! And, I attack Milus Radiant!"

Jared recognised the flaw in his plan too late- Milus Radiant's attack power was still only 300. He yelled in frustration as Hayabusa Knight destroyed his animal and his Life Points dropped down to 2000. He reached for his deck to draw another card when Kyriss stopped him.

"I'm not finished yet, Jared. Hayabusa Knight can attack twice in the same Battle Phase, meaning I can attack your Battle Ox as well!"

Jared growled again, his fists shaking in rage, as his Life Points dropped to 1900. Losses seemed so much larger when you had fewer Life Points.

Kyriss signalled the end of his turn with a wry smile. "Your move."

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan was grinning so much his smirk seemed to go from one ear to the other. He was actually gonna duel Joey head to head. Ryan drew his 5 cards. He had Gemini Elf, Harpie's Brother, Tri-Horned Dragon, Giant Soldier of Stone, and Magic Cylinder. Ryan would be going first.[/i]

Ryan: I'll draw (Polymerization) and summon Harpie's Brother in Attack Mode. I also set this m/t down and end my turn.

[i]Joey looked at his hand nervously, he had Parasite Paracide, Panther Warrior, Scapegoat, Jinzo, and Spiked Pitfall. Joey was totaly nervous just due to the fact that Ryan had a REBD as well and three BEWD, but that wouldn't stop him from dueling to his fullest.[/i]

Joey: I'll draw (Gearfried) and summon Gearfried the Iron Knight in attack mode. I end my turn now.

Ryan: Meh. I'll draw (Spellbinding Circle.) and set one monster face down and end my turn.

Joey: Heh. I now summon my Panther Warrior and actiavte Scapegoat. I sacrafice one of the goats for my Panther to attack.

Ryan: HA! Magic Cylinders actiavte!!!

Joey: Oh no!!!

Ryan: 4000
Joey: 2000

Ryan: This is just getting more fun by the minute.[/COLOR]

"It's my turn" Dox said. "And I play the magic card Call of Sanga! By sacrificing a single Thunder monster, I can summon Sanga of the Thunder!" A lightning bolt struck Thunder Dragon, who exploded. His parts reformed, creating the mighty thunder gardian. (2600/2200) "I can't attack this turn, so I'll have to end my turn."

Jared drew from his deck and Kyriss watched as his look of frustration morphed into one of glee.

"I play Change of Heart, to take control of your Hayabusa Knight!"

Kyriss watched his Knight switch sides and point straight at him. But strangely, Jared didn't attack.

"I use your Hayabusa Knight as a Tribute for my Unfriendly Amazon- if I don't give her a Tribute during each of my Standby Phases, she is destroyed."

Kyriss growled as Hayabusa Knight disappeared to give life to the Amazon in front of him.

"Now, attack him!"

Kyriss flinched as the Unfriendly Amazon swiped directly at him, taking away 2000 of his Life Points. He was now at 250. But he hadn't lost yet. It was his turn.

Drawing a card, he looked at his hand. It wasn't what he needed, but he could still use it.

"I play Pot of Greed to draw two cards from my Deck."

They had to be the right two... or else this would all be over. He closed his eyes as he drew the cards.

Labyrinth Wall and Soul Exchange. Kyriss punched the air and began his move, much to Jared's disgust.

"First, I play Soul Exchange to use your Unfriendly Amazon as a tribute to summon Labyrinth Wall in defence mode. I then equip Labyrinth Wall with magical Labyrinth, and end my turn."

Jared muttered something obscene under his breath. This would be difficult fo get round. He drew a card.

"I play Monster Reborn to bring back one monster from my Graveyard- The Unfriendly Amazon!" I then Set one Monster Card face down and equip my Unfriendly Amazon with Axe of Despair, which raises her Attack points to 3000!" he pointed at Kyriss angrily. "Don;t think I'm beaten yet, Kyriss!"

Kyriss smiled. "Time to end this Duel." He drew from his deck and shrugged. He didn't need the card.

"I offer my Equipped Labyrinth Wall as a tribute to summon my Wall Shadow in Attack Mode! I then equip it with Sword of Deep-Seated to raise its Attack and Defence by 500 points."

Jared smirked. "It's Attack Points are still only 2100. You'll be destroyed on your next attack!"

Kyriss held a card up in front of him. "And I also activate this Magic Card- Shield and Sword! It swaps the Attack and Defence power of all monsters on the field, making my Wall Shadow 3500 strong."

Jared screamed as he saw his Unfriendly Amazon's Attack Power drop to 1000 points.

"Now Wall Shadow, attack The Unfriendly Amazon!"

Jared shrieked in horror as the Wall Shadow destroyed his card and wiped out his Life Points. He fell to his knees.

"The locator cards, please." Kyriss said firmly. Jared shoved them in his face and stormed off, swearing loudly.

Kyriss smiled. He had his full compliment of 20 locator cards. Now he had to fond Ryan and Shinji to show off.

You and Yugi may think that you have the most powerful cards in Duel Monsters but soon. Very soon you shall see my true power.

Kaiba: Took the letter and wadded it up and threw it away. He stormed out to his office and slammed the door shut. He was fuming mad.

While this was happening Ryan and co. headed to the cafe to celebrate for surviving the second elimination.

The next day Ryan awoke to his alarm clock blaring and his fatigue kicking in. He climbed out of bed and got changed and headed for Kaiba's office to ask him about any new leads. Just then a cloaked person jumped him and dragged him into a hidden room. The only reason Ryan didn't fight back was because the man said he had a gun.[/i][/COLOR]

"I wonder what the finals will look like..." Hermes pondered, sprawled on his back and his bed. "The tournament was nice so far... Except the duel with Kai. I hope He'll make it to the final... Eh, I better get to sleep if I wanna be ready tomorrow."

Hermes' eyes closed and he slowly drifted to sleep.

[Solo Tremaine]

Kyriss slid his jacket from his shoulders and examined his face in the mirror. That kid must have had some kind of Amazonian roots to use a blopipe that well. Ah, it didn't matter now.

Sitting calmly in his bed, he examined his deck. Maybe he should narrow it down to one theme instead of two. His SwordHunter would be a good card if he could get it into use, and it would fit in with his theme. And, that gave him the bonus of being able to have cards that purely worked up one set of monsters than another.

He set his Deck on the bedside table. It could wait until after the tournament. This was his deck at the moment, and that was how he was going to use it.

Lying back in bed, he felt his eyes growing heavy. The finals would be soon. Sooner than he'd have liked, really. But it couldn't be helped. Putting his hands behind his head, he fell asleep...
