[Solo Tremaine]

Kyriss made his way up to where Ryan was duelling. At least, he guessed that's where he'd be.

As he wandered up to the higher decks, he heard someone whispering in a corner.

"And you're sure you saw them?"

"Yes sir."

"That may put our plans askew... but no-one can stay the King of Games forever. Everyone has a fault, and we can exploit theirs. Soon the world will fall under the Pharoah's power, which will be mine!"

Kyriss froze. Did he mean Yugi Moto? What was he planning to do? As much as he wanted to listen for more information, he knew full well that snooping could get him into trouble. Hurriedly, he ran back the way he came to find Ryan.

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan couldn't believe this, Yugi had just been near the jaws of defeat and had managed to jump past them. Now Ryan looked at his Sapphire dragon laying in the graveyard. His hand had his Swords of Revealing Light still, his REBD, and his Island turtle.

Yami had to grin inwardly, things were starting to heat up. Now all he had to do was pull out the rigt card.[/i]

Yami: I'll draw, (Summon Skull) I now sacrafice my Big Shield for Summoned Skull!!! Now Summoned Skull, destroy that face down card!

[i]The intimidating fiend type monster fired off its lightning blast that obliterated the miniscule Sangan, but while this had happened Ryan just chuckled.[/i]

Ryan: Thanks Yug. You just destroyed my Sangan, now I get to bring out an iggle friend of mine.

[i]Ryan drew out his Lord of Dragons. Now things would definetly get interesting.[/i]

Ryan: I'll draw my card (Magician of Faith) and set one card face down. Your turn.

Yami: I'll now draw, and play this, Monster Reborn! I bring back your Sapphire dragon and equip it with Axe of Despair. I now destroy your Harpie's Brother for 1100 damage. And now my Summoned Skull will destroy your face down card!

Ryan: Damn. Oh well. Hmmm... I'll draw (Change of Heart) I'll now play swords of revealing light. And set one monster face down and end my turn.

Yami: I'll summon Gemini Elf in Attack mode.

Ryan: Hmmm. I now play a second Sapphire Dragon in attack mode and equip it with United We Stand.

Yami: What? I thought that was sent to the graveyard!?

Ryan: My magician of faith allowed me to retrieve it.

Yami: Oh.

Ryan: Well, I'll pass this turn.

Yami: What? Why don't you attack?

Ryan: Meh.

Yami: Well, you should have because I now summon this!! Slifer the Sky Dragon!

Ryan: DAMN!!!

Yami: I also have 6 cards in my hand taking his attack up to 6000. Heh. I now destroy your Gemini Elf!

Ryan: Crap!

Yami: 300
Ryan: 600

Ryan: I can't do anything except set this face down and end my turn.

Yami: I hate to do this, you've dueled exceptionally. I play the magic card Raigeki! Now, Slifer attack him directly.

[i]The massive red drag fired off its full blast at Ryan, thank god it was all a hologram. Just as the holographic dust settled Kyriss came bolting up to the group. He saw both duelists slumped on the ground.[/i]

Kyriss: What happened?

Ryan: Yugi, brought out Slifer and....beat me... That was a great duel Yugi.

Yami: You too. You had me on the ropes for quite awhile there. But that was definetly an excellent duel.[/COLOR]

[Solo Tremaine]

Ryan picked himself off the floor and helped Yami to his feet. Kyriss shuffled nervously on his feet.

"What's up, Kyriss?" Ryan asked.

Kyriss looked over to Yami, who wore an expression of concern. It was bad enough being in front of the legendary Yugi Moto, but having to tell him that someone was trying to attack him or whatever was worse.

"Er... Yugi, I think someone's out to get you. I heard them saying something about a Pharoah's power, and... the power I felt there was... be careful, Yugi."

Yami nodded, whispered something to Ryan about finding Kaiba and then swiftly left.

Ryan and Kyriss sat down at a table and bought some drinks. As they drank them, Kyriss looked at his ocator cards.

"You know... this is a lot of cards to have to carry around. Maybe Kaiba couls have less for the next tournament he does."

Ryan nodded, feeling the strain of the cards around his neck. "Yeah, heh. Will you be at the next one?"

Kyriss held up his 30 cards. "Yep, got 30 here."

"Cool." Ryan smiled, taking a gulp of his drink. It was a fruit juice, but he couldn't tell what sort. he looked back to Kyriss again.

"Kyirss is a bit of an odd name for someone from Britain, isn't it?" he said.

Kyriss nodded and smiled. "It's not my real name. I took it form my middle name, which is Chris."

"Then what's your real name?" Ryan asked, smiling with curiosity.

"It's... Aidian."

"What's so bad about that?" Ryan asked.

Kyriss blushed slightly. "Nothing... I just got bullied about it at achool because I sounded too posh. I wanted to be taken seriously at this tournament so I thought a better-sounding name would be more appropriate.

Ryan took another swig of his drink. "So what should I call you?"

Kyriss smiled. "Aidian would do fine, Ryan."

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Kaiba stood within his office going over some new blueprints for a better dueling system, this time the holographic projection system would be much better, it would be extremely real. But it would have safety locks on it so as to not endanger the duelists.

While he was doing this he looked at his deck and picked out his two BEWD, he felt like a piece of him was missing without his 3rd one. He knew those thugs stole it and he would get his revenge on them for stealing it.

Just at that moment Yugi burst into the room, a look of shock was on his face. Kaiba looked up from what he was doing with a look of puzzlement.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]"You look like you've just seen a ghost."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]"I think the man behind this is somehow tied in to Marik."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]"Why do you say that?"[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]"Because one of the people that I met awhile back has informed me that someone is after the power of my Millennium puzzle, which is exactly what Marik was after."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]"Tch, well don't worry right now, we need to get ready for the final elimination round."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Kaiba strode down to the main dueling arena with Yugi right on his heels. While Kaiba walked out onto the platform he thought to himself.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue][i]Now the fun begins.[/i]Duelists, I welcome you to the final round of eliminations. Unfortunately, those of you shown on this screen will have to leave the ship. I am very happy that you were able to make it this far, but if you do not have 30 Locator cards then you wil be shown on this screen being your cue to leave.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]The screen came to life and showed over 200 people appeared on the screen. Thankfully none of them were people Ryan knew. After the entire crowd of eliminated people left Kaiba spoke privately to the group that remained.[/i][/COLOR]

[COLOR=royalblue]Okay, tomorrow will be a Battle Royal, all of you will duel each other and the last person to be standing will duel me and Yugi one against the other. Okay now go get some sleep and celebrate.[/COLOR]

Okay, before you start posting about the next day post about what you do the night before, I'll follow up with the next day. Ok, I hope you all are getting anxious for the finals.

Ryo, lying on his bed, flipped through his dekc of cards. then he pulled a out a box of extra cards and filed through them. He had to build his deck as best as he could, otherwise he wouldn't get very far in the finals.
By the time he was done, it was pretty late. Psyched for the finals, Ryo tried to get some sleep for the night. His improved deck should be quite impressive.

[Circ]

Hermes knew Kaiba had a knack for aiming his decks at his opponent's specific weaknesses, so he had prepared some cards to use to surprises him and the other that could stand in his way.

The tournament had been very interesting to play in thus far, and none of the current finalists were people he had duelled yet. He was sorry Kai hadn't made it to the finals, but wasn't worried as to whether or not he had fought it to the end. He pulled earplugs from his bag and prepared to go to sleep. Tomorrow would be very fun.

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]After having celebrated last night, Ryan awoke to the usual sound of his alarm clock. He yawned and changed and headed for the main dueling arena.

Kaiba had explained that the final would be a Battle Royal where the final person to survive would duel Yugi first and then Kaiba himself. After arriving at the arena Kaiba and Yugi walked out in front of the group[/i]

Kaiba: Ahem, welcome to the Battle Royale of Battle Cruise. Now lets...


????: End this by all of you handing over all of your cards.

[i]The person behind that voice stepped out of the shadows and revealed himself as an all to familiar figure to Ryan and Ryo. It was Ashok. His eyes glimmered with demented glee as he held up his duel disk system.[/i]

Ashok: Unless you all care to try and beat me. But I highly doubt it. Your God Cards can't even touch me.

Kaiba: Who the hell are you?!

Ashok: Your worst nightmare. I'm here to collect the mighty Egyptian god cards and the power of all the BEWDs on this ship.

Kaiba: Then..That means..

Ashok: Correct, I stole this from you!

[i]The man pulled out a single card and held it out at arms length, it was a BEWD and it was Kaiba's and Kaiba was obviously pissed. Ryan saw the once proud man bite his lower lip in anger. Ryan of course wasn't going to stand for this.[/i]

Ryan: You monster! You wanna go!?

Ashok: How about we all duel. All of you against me.

Yami: What? Are you insane?

Ashok: Maybe, and maybe I'm just extremely confident in my deck. Let's begin shall we? Oh and if I win then you will hand over all of your cards including the god cards.

Ryan: And if we win?

Ashok: I'll forfeit my entire deck to you including the stolen BEWDs.

Ryan: Good, now lets begin!

Ashok: Okay, I'll set this one monster face down in defense mode and end my turn.

Ryan: Hmmm... (Sapphire Dragon, BEWD, Spellbinding Circle, Swords of Revealing Light, and Harpie's Brother.) I'll draw (Horn of the Unicorn) And summon Harpie's Brother in attack mode and equip it with Horn of the Unicorn. I now attack!

Ashok: Tch. Flip over Soul-Hunting Spirit.

Ryan: Its destroyed isn't it?

Ashok: Nope. It still sticks around. Hahaha!!!

Ryan: Damn. I'll end my turn.

Ashok: I'll now draw and set one card face down and end my turn.

Shinji: I'll summon my LaJinn in attack mode and equip it with Dark energy! But I can't attack that spirit but I'll go for that face down card!

Ashok: Tch, my Man-Eater Bug. I'll destroy that LaJinn.

Shinji: Damn. I'll end my turn.

Ashok: Such a pity. I'll set one m/t face down and another monster face down and end my turn.

Hermes: The only way to destroy that spirit is with a Magic card! I'll play Raigeki!

Ashok: Magic Jammer! I'll discard my Sword of Deep-Seated.

Hermes: Man. Well, I'll play Hellish Bear in attack mode.

Ashok: Hmmm... I know, I'll set another monster face down and end my turn.

Kyriss: I'll put this monster face down and end my turn.

Ashok: What to do what to do..I'll sacrafice my Graveyard Assasin for my Summoned Skull and end my turn.

Ryo: I'll set three m/ts face down and end my turn.

Ashok: Yes! The card that will bring forth your destruction! I play this ritual card! Tribute to Apophis!

Ryan: WHAT?!
Shinji: What is that?
Yami: A ritual
Kaiba: Well that's obvious but for what?

Ashok for the monster that will reek havoc upon you all!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

[i]Ryan had to cringe, obviously this guy had a really powerful card hidden in the wings of his deck and things were just about to heat up.[/i]

Yami: I believe it is my turn. I'll summon Alpha the Magnet Warrior in defense. I end my turn.

Ashok: I'll now sacrafice one BEWD for the ritual. I also set three m/ts face down and end my turn.

Kaiba: I'll sacrafice Ryan's Harpie's Brother and Yugi's Magnet for this! The Blue Eyes White Dragon, and its not too happy you just killed one of its brothers. I end my turn.

Ashok: Tch. Like I really give a damn. That stupid dragon will bow before my monster once I have it out. I'll play one monster face down in defense mode and end my turn.

[i]Thus start the final battle of Battle Cruise.[/i][/COLOR]

Now here is how the dueling order will proceed. I hope this is suitable for you. Now no one attacked for the first turn. A turn for this match is once everyone has made their moves. So next turn everyone is open for attacks.

Also I hope I don't sound too nitpicky but could everyone be really detailed in their posts. It would add some real spice to the game. Well I hope we can beat this guy.

Now the colors you see are just to show how this will be done, no one needs to post the things like this.

Also, please use good judgement with other character's decks. If you need to ask what kind of cards are in the decks just PM that person and then work it out. Okay well have fun.

Ryan: you're better off not talking. I'll summon Sapphire Dragon in attack mode and lay a M/T card set. You're turn.

Ashok: I'll simply attack against Ryan's dragon. I think it deserves to go. Don't you? Hahahahahaha...

Ryo: Forget it! I'll activate Negate Attack! He's safe for one more turn.

Ryan: Thank you. Sure that was wise of you?

Ryo: I've got more tricks in this deck than you'd imagine Ryan. Let's just worry about this mad man. And to do that, I'll lay this monster in defense mode. Not to mention another card set in my M/T zone. You must be lovin' the entertainment Ashok.

Ashok: Just shut up and finish your turn.

Ryo: Why don't you? I'm finished. Now it's your turn to play your cards.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Things were starting to heat up and Ryan was amazed he hadn't started freaking out cause here was this guy and he was keeping his nerve while literally looking down the barrel of a gun. It was now Ashok's turn.[/i]

Ashok: I now actiavte my trap card. Avatar of Apophis. I now sacrafice this thing for my Demon of Gilfer and equip it with Horn of the Unicorn. Now my Demon! Destroy that Hellish Bear!

[i]The massive black demon unfurled its blood-red wings and in the blink of an eye had shot towards Hermes' bear and slashed it in half and returned back to its master's field with its jet black eyes glittering with blood lust.

Ryan was now getting nervous, this monster was pretty evil and now it was Kyriss' turn.[/i]

Kyriss: Allright! I now sacrafice Shiji's face down monster and mine for my Buster Blader! And since you have a BEWD in your graveyard he goes up to 3100 attack points! Now Buster Blader destroy that demon!

[i]The armor-clard warrior took flight into the sky with a massive jump and brought its massive sword down upon the Demon, but unfortunately once Kyriss' turn was over he looked down at his Buster Blader and its attack had gone back to 2600.[/i]

Kyriss: What?! What happened?!

Ashok: Hahahahahaha!!!! Since Demon of Gilfer was sent to the graveyard he becomes an equip magic card and I chose your Buster Blader as the recepient of this wonderful effect. Now stand back cause I just drew another BEWD and I know sacrafice it for the ritual. I also play this monster face down and end my turn.

Hermes: I'll summon Cornish Pixies in attack mode and end my turn.

Ashok: Hahahahah!!!! Those pitiful things! That's hillarious. I'll now set one monster face down and end my turn.

Shinji: I'll play Dark Magic Curtain to bring forth my Dark Magician!!!

Ryan: Way to go!

Ashok: Peh.

Shinji: I'll end my turn.

Ashok: I'll now flip my Newt!

[i]A bright red-orange newt appeared in attack postion.[/i]

Ashok: Now I equip it with Sword of Deep Seated taking him up to 2900 attack points!

Ryan: But how?!

Ashok: Simple, if flipped he gains 500 Attack and Defense Points and Sword of Deep Seated also takes him up another 500. Soooo..Newt! Destroy those Cornish Pixies!

Hermes: Sorry, but their special ability protects them and you can't touch them. Heheheh.

Ashok: Fine. I'll end my turn.

Yugi: For a man who claims to be able to defeat us you sure are taking your time. I'll now sacrafice Ryan's Dragon for Dark Magician Girl! I also equip her with The Book of Secret Arts. I also now set one m/t face down and end my turn.

Ashok: That blondie is going down too easily. I now attack her with Newt!

Yugi: You fell right into my trap. Spellbinding circle!

Ashok: Damn! Well I end my turn.

Kaiba: Should have equipped that stupid lizard again cause now my Blue Eyes is hungry and its in the mood for some Newts.

[i]As if on cue the dragon lowered its head and growled menacingly at the pitiful newt.[/i]

Kaiba: Blue Eyes White Dragon! Destroy that amphibian! WHITE LIGHTNING!

[i]With a massive engergy blast the Newt was no more.[/i]

Ashok: Okay, I'll now play this magic card, Pot of Greed and lookie here two more BEWDs. I'll just dump them into the graveyard and now I set this card face down and end my turn.

Ryan: You shouldn't have done that! I'll now summon my Gemini Elf and set this m/t face down and end my turn.[/COLOR]

[Hyper]

Ashok: Oh? My turn. *What* fun. Let's see...I'll sacrifice my monster to play the Death Vortasgalf. i think you'll all like him. Especially you, Kaiba, being the dragon master you are. Anyways, I'll be attacking Ryan's Gemini Elf. bye bye!

Ryan: Oh...crap.

Ryo: Now its my turn. i'm sure everyone's heard of Card Destruction? Time we start over folks. I have a feeling we'll be lucky.

Ryan: You'd hope so...

Ryo: Anyways, I'll play the Shallow Grave. I'm assuming your taking Soul-Haunting Spirit?

Ashok: Aren't you a smart one.

Ryo: Well now I'll activate Invader of the Throne, switching your monster with mine. So I get your defensive wall, while you get a sitting duck. Not to mention I'll play Mimic Illusionist, on your Death Vortasgalf. Now, I have my own Dragon. Pretty useful huh?

Ashok: Just be quiet.

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Things were getting more interesting by the minute as the duelists were attempting to stop Ashok from bringing out his most powerful card. It was now Kyriss' turn.[/i]

Kyriss: All right, now I'll summon my retrained Celtic Guardian in attack mode and set one card face down and end my turn.

Ashok: Hmmm... I now have Death Vorstagalf attack your guardian.

[i]The dragon shot towards the guardian. All Ryan could do was close his eyes and flinch when he heard the simulated explosion. But as the dust settled Ryan saw Kyriss' guardian still standing.[/i]

Ashok: But..But how?!

Kyriss: Simple. My Retrained Guardian recieves no damage from a monster with an attack range of 1900 and up. So your attack did no damage. See how you like that Ashok.

Ashok: Damn. Fine then I'll throw in another BEWD for my offering.

Ryan: Okay now I'm starting to wonder about you Ashok.

Ashok: Why's that?

Ryan: Just never mind.

Hermes: I do believe its my turn now. I now summon my Earthbound Spirit in defense mode and set one card face down and end my turn.

Ashok: Okay, now for my fun. Oh lookie here, another BEWD, to the graveyard with you.

Kaiba: How many BEWDs do you have?

Ashok: Enough for Apophis. Anyways, I'll set one card face down and end my turn.

Shinji: Fine then. Dark Magician! Destroy his face down monster! Dark Magic attack!

Ashok: HAHAHAHAHA!!!! My third Soul-Hunting Spirit.

Shinji: Damn, I'll set one monster face down and end my turn.

Ashok: I now sacrafice this Invader of the Throne for my Hell Poemer*, end turn.

Yugi: Okay I now play Kuriboh and the magic card Multiply. I also play the magic card Refresher taking us all back up to 4000 LP except for you Ashok.

Shinji: Thank you.

Ashok: Fine. I now have Hell Poemer attack the Kuriboh.

[i]The mishapen demon fired off a massive energy blast that connected with the floating furrball, but after the dust cleard two more stood in place of the one atttacked.[/i]

Yugi: Unfortunately you don't know about my infamous move. Good luck trying to destroy my ulitmate defense.

Ashok: Fine I end my turn.

Kaiba: I know about that Hell Poemer's ability so I won't allow it to go to the cemetary. I'll play the Dimensional Warrior in attack mode. Now my warrior attack that thing!


[i]The mechanical looking man rushed forward and attacked the demon. But as the man disintegrated and disappeared as did the Hell Poemer.[/i]

Kaiba: I may lose some LP but that's fine, just as long as that thing is out of my way. I'll end my turn.

Ashok: Oh well. Death Vorstagalf! Attack Cornish Pixies!

[i]The dragon shot off another attack but the pixies merely sidestepped it and the energy blast went right past them.[/i]

Hermes: Obviously you don't get it. Cornish Pixies can't be touched.

Ashok: Shut up. I now sacrafice 2 more BEWDs. Just a few more and the most powerful monster, yes even more powerful then the three god cards that you Kaiba and Yugi hold.

Ryan: Quit yapping. I now sacrafice Hermes' Spirit and Shinji's face down monster for my BEWD!!!!! Hahahaha! Now lets see how you like looking down the barrel of two guns Ashok![/COLOR]

Ashok: I'll play two Graceful Charity cards to draw and discard, and then I'll play Pot of Greed to draw two more cards.
[i]Ashok looked at his hand, then onto the field, and back at his hand. An evil grin broke form his mouth which turned into a chuckle, and then an uncontrollable laughter.[/i]

Ryo: What's so funny?
Ashok: Simple, quite simple.
Ryan: What's so simple? Start talkin'!
Ashok: Your defeat.
Kyriss: Our defeat? What do you mea-
Ryo: Oh...crap.
Ashok: Exaclty!
Ryan: We're too late...
Ashok: NOW COME FORTH APOPHIS!

[COLOR=darkblue][i]At these very words the ritual ended and a brilliant ball of energy appeared and as Ryan fought to see what was coming he could see the outline of a dragon that appeared to be in a phetal positsion, but as the energy disappated the dragon stood on its hind legs, and once the light dimmed there before the team stood a dragon bigger than that of Ra. It flared its beautiful sky blue wings and fixed its Golden eyes on its prey.[/i]

Ryan: Ooooohhhh Crap... This isn't good.

This monster can only be summoned with the ritual card "Tribute to Apophis" Once Summoned this monster gains 200 ATK for every dragon on the field and in the graveyard.

ATK: 7500/5000

Ashok: Now for my god to destroy all of you! Since I sacraficed all these BEWDs I believe his attack goes up quite a bit. I do believe by 10,700 is his ATK now. But he can't attack just yet.

Ryan: Holy ****! That's way too powerful!

Ryo: He gets power from dragons. Well I play SOUL RELEASE!!!!! I now remove 5 BEWDs from your Graveyard Ashok! Taking Apophis down to 9,700. But its still not good enough. I'll have to set this Monster face down and end my turn.

Ashok: Now! My wonderful Dragon! Kill Kaiba's dragon!

[i]The blue dragon opened its massive maw and its wings flared out so as to support it from the recoil of its attack and then in an instant a huge multicolored energy beam shot forwards at Kaiba's Dragon. Just then the attack seemed to become smothered, like a flame in a jar.[/i]

Ashok: What the hell!?

Yami: I played the instant magic card Rain of the Divinity. It negates any god card's attack for 3 turns.

Ashok: Damn. I'll end my turn.

[i]As Ashok said this Apophis itself seemed to pout as well just because it couldn't blow apart a monster. Now things were begining to get dangerous.[/i][/COLOR]

Kyriss: I can't do much but build defenses...So i'll just ahve to lay this guy in defens emode with two M/T cards. Hope these'll help.

Ashok: Pathetic. I'll just have to have my dragon destroy it! [i]Apophis threw two glowing energy bombs towards the monster, destroying ti so completly that nobody could even see what it was.[/i]

Kyriss: But how? Rain fo Divinity should be stopping you.
Ashok: With this Trap Card, Dust Tornado, I can blow the rain away!

Hermes: Hmm...I can't do much. Maybe I can use this card. Pandora's Box asllows me to draw two cards and discard three. Yes! I'll just lay this guy in defense mode. I'm safe from that Dragon, Ashok!

Ashok: Not for long! [i]Ashok waited a moment and looked questionably at the face down card.[/i] Well you'll all be dead soon anyways. Attack his monster Apophis!

Hermes: You just never learn do you, Ashok? I'm sure you'd just loooooove to be reaqquainted with my Cornish Pixies?[i]The small electric-blue faeries giggled at Ashok.[/i]

Ashok: Not another batch! You are infuriating. But no matter, this duel will be over soon. My invincible Dragon and I will be the victors.

Shinji: Not when I play Megamorph! This card'll double my Dark Magician's attack strength.[i]A magical circle of runes appeared around his mage. His monster looked like it was overflowing with power.[/i] We'll find a way to get past that Dragon. and when we do, we'll blow you away so fast you won't have time to think!

Ashok: Hmmpf. Like it'll last. I play Disenchant, removing the Megamorph spell from your magician. But it requires me to give up my battle phase.[i]The expression on Apophis quickly changed to a vengeful frown.[/i]

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan couldn't believe this, everything had gone topsy-turvy so quickly and now he was looking at one of the most powerful cards ever known. Ra wouldn't be a match for it if they didn't sacrafice the correct monsters. It was now Yugi's turn.[/i]

Yami: I'll play this all to familiar of a card. Swords of Revaling Light go!

[i]A huge number of swords of pure light appeared and created an invisible barrier around Apophis which in turn snarled fiercely and angrily. Its golden eyes glowing every now and then.[/i]

Yami: I hope you enjoy being stalled for 3 turns. Its your turn.

Ashok: Shut up! I can only play this card face down and end my turn.

Kaiba: Well, well I just drew something I believe I could use. I now play the magic card Polymerization! I fuse two of my BEWD with Ryan's BEWD to create the BEUD!! Now we have a strong monster on our side as well. I now end my turn.

Ashok: Heh, just 2 more turns and then SSORL will be gone. I'll end my turn again.

Ryan: Hmph. I'll set this M/T down and end my turn.

Ashok: Peh, After this turn the Swords are gone.

[i]With these words the Swords began to flicker, as if fighting to stay on the field.[/i][/COLOR]

[Solo Tremaine]

Ryo looked to Ashok cautiously. This match held the potential fate of the world at stake.
The Swords of Revealing Light would no longer be affecting Ashok in the next turn. He hoped he'd be able to do something to negate his attack to give his monster long enough time to cause damage to his Life Points. He really needed Raigeki. Closing his eyes, he drew a card. It wasn't what he was hoping for, but it would work just as well. Fissure.

"I sacrifice my Soul-Haunting Spirit to summon Vampire Lord in Attack Mode! And I play Fissure to destroy your Apophis!"

Ashok scoffed. "You fool! Apophis can't be defeated by one poxy magic card!"

"We'll see! Vampire Lord, attack Ashok's ife Points directly!"

"You've activated my Trap!" Ashok yelled. "Enchanted Javelin raises my Life Points by the attacking monster's attack points, meaning your Vampire leaves me unharmed."

"Yeah, but his effect means that you have to discard a whole load of your cards to the Graveyard. I choose Traps!"

"Damn you..." Ashok growled.

Ashok looked at his hand. He still had some Traps left in there. They'd do him well. He set two cards face down, watched as Apophis reappeared and ended his turn.

Aidian (Kyriss) looked at the others nervously. His monsters weren't nearly as powerful as any of the others. He set his Nimble Momonga in face-down defense position, set one Magic/Trap card face down and ended his turn. Shinji gave him a nod, and flashed him a glimpse of his Black Paladin card.

Ashok drew one card and looked at Aidian's face-down card. He didn't want to risk anything, but he could get rid of that infernal Buster Blader.

"Apophis, attack his Buster Blader!"

Kyriss flipped up his face-down card- Waboku. Cursing, Ashok waited for Hermes to make his move.

[Domon]

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan could do nothing but panic. Apophis was even more powerful than Ra. If nothing was done soon everything would end here and now, all Ryan could do was wait for Hermes' move.[/i]

Hermes: I'll set this monster face down and end my turn.

Ashok: Apophis! Destroy his monster!

[i]The dragon's golden eyes flared with malice as it obliterated the earthbound spirit in a flash.[/i]

Ashok: I'll end my turn.

Shinji: Too bad. I now have drawn this magic card. I now play Polymerization and fuse Kyriss' Buster Blader with my Dark Magician to make the BLACK PALADIN!

Black Paladin: ATK=> 23,200

Ashok: How can it be so high?!

Shinji: Because of those dragons you stole. He's more powerful than that of Buster Blader alone. And, he protects both Kyriss' field as well as mine.

Ashok: Damn, I end my turn.

Yami: Well well. I have the card that shall obliterate your Apophis. I now sacrafice the Black Paladin, BEUD, and Vampire Lord for the Divine Winged Dragon of RA!

[i]With those words the three monsters disappeared within a flash of light and out of that light the huge golden dragon flew out of. Now it was a clash of the titans. Apophis stared down at Ra and Ra stared directly back with cold malice.[/i]

Yami: Ra's attack is now 29,700!! Ra! God Breath Cannon!!!!!!!!!!

[i]Ra obediently reared its head back, gathered a massive amount of energy and in a flash Apophis could be heard roaring in agony as it was torn to shreds from the blast.

As the dust finally settled everyone looked at where Ashok was standing but all that was there was his dueling simulator. Yami looked over at Kaiba.[/i]

Yami: The safety's were on right?

Kaiba: Of course! I mean I wanted the guy to pay but I never turned the safety locks off.[/COLOR]

[Hyper]

Ryo: You guys just gonna let him escape?
Ryan: you're right. We should at least confront him.
[i]Everybody shutdown their duel disks and ran up the stairs. Along the way, Ryo picked up Ashok's Duel disk. After running up to the very top of the capatain's deck, the group discovered Ashok. With one throw, he tossed his deck behind him, and looked at Yugi. And for that one second Ashok smiled. But no ordinary smile, Ashok's smile was different. He knew what he had done, and was in such shame. And to pay for it all - he jumped. Silently, Ashok dived into the ocean, and was never seen again.[/i]
[i]Still in silence, Ryo and Ryan walked up to Ashok's scattered deck. Ryo picked Apophis and the BEWD. He looked at the cards, and then handed them to Ryan.[/i]

Ryo: Take it. you deserve it. As for me, well..[i]Ryo searched throw the cards and pulled out a few, which he shuffled into his deck. then with the remaining cards, Ryo took the deck and neatly put it into the folded up Duel Disk. Then he cast the disk off into the ocean, where Ashok had drowned.[/i]

Yami: He took things so seriously...
Kaiba: And yet he still jumps...
Kyriss: And now that the tournament is over, we can pick up the other contestants.
Kaiba: Ah yes, that reminds me. Due to *unexpected* circumstances, I declare all of us the champions of the Battle Cruise. At least..for now. [i]Kaiba gace a wink at Yugi while everyone else looked out from the highest deck of the Battle Cruise, gazing out at the setting sun. Everyone was quiet even as they were pulling into the mainland of Hawaii, and finally putting an end to their struggle.[/i]

[Solo Tremaine]

[i]Three months later...[/i]

Aidian lay back on his bed, thinking about the Battle Cruise tournament. He was back in England now, and after three months he'd still not managed to see Faron again. Ah well. At least the money for the tournament was lasting well.

He glanced at his deck. His new Dark deck worked well... but it wasn't much fun not having anyone much to play against. A yell from downstairs distracted him.

"Aidian! Post!"

He grabbed the letter from his dad, smiled and ran upstairs. It was from KaibaCorp.

[i]Dear Aidian,

I'm writing to you to invite you to another of my exclusive tournaments...[/i]

Aidian couldn't believe his eyes. He had two weeks to prepare. Smiling happily, he started packing his case...

[Hyper]

[i]3 Monthes later, somehwere else:[/i]

Ryo: And my Vampire Lord attacks for the game. [i]Ryo pointed to the card, sitting at a table, and look at his opponent.[/i]

Boy: Man this guy..he-he-he's unbeatable! Nobody has a 20-0-0 winning streak?

Ryo: Against you guys, its not that hard. All of you have a lot of room for improvement. so anybody else up for a duel?[i]The crowd of people took a step back. Ryo just put a hand to his forhead and agve out a small laugh. Then the door opened and in walked a mail man.[/i]

Mailman: A letter for Mr. Ryo?
Ryo: Yes? How'd you know I'd be here?
Mailman: KaibaCorp gave me a direct request to find you personally, and give this to you.
Ryo: Thank you. And thanks to KaibaCorp aswell.

[i]Ryo opened the letter adressed to him and read silently:[/i]

Dear Ryo,

I'm writing to you to invite you to another of my exclusive tournaments. After the tie between all of us on the Battle Cruise, I decided to host another tournament to finally figure out who the rea champion was. I'm giving all contestants two weeks to prepare for the boat ride to Battle Island. I hope to see you and your friends there, and all you improved dueling decks for a challenging showdown.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan stood at the end of the dueling arena with his now infamous Apophis standing at his side, the dragon now didn't seem intimidating to him. His opponent didn't seem to worried either. But now things were over. Apophis had won Ryan another tournament.[/i]

Announcer: And the winner is RYAN BRAXTON!

[i]Ryan casually waved and turned around and headed out the door to his car.

After arriving back at his house he stepped out of his car and opened the mailbox and about did a backflip. A letter had arrived from Kaiba Corp. He opened the envelope and actually did a backflip. It read.[/i]

Dear Ryan,

I have taken time to send you this letter inviting you to my newest tournament, Battle Island. Since Battle Cruise ended in a tie. I expect to see you within two weeks with your new deck.

P.S.

Thanks for giving me back my BEWD. Just for that I'll allow you to use Apophis.
