Will: Other than him, heh. Well thank you. I'm going to my room now. Nice meeting you

Ryo just sat around until some action would happen. He already had enough for the first elimination round.
He sat near the top deck, fine-tuning his deck some more, and scoping out suspects.

Already he had found a few people. But he acknowledged the possibility of the perosn being a normla duelist witha gothic dress-style.

Ryo: Wearing black just isn't enough these days...

He happened to notice near the front of the deck, a group of shadowy figures. It looked like they were trying not to be seen form deck level.
They flashed some rare cards,s ome he didn't recognize, and then walked different ways. Card theives, conspirers, Ryo didn't know what to call them.
He looked backwards, and then looked forward again. The figures were out of sight. Ryo thought he shoudl go alert someone, so he got up and walked away, hoping to find Kaiba.

[color=teal][size=1][b]There was a loud screech from the speakers.

Yugi:Hello is this working?

The duelists could see Yugi on the screen all dressed up.

Yugi:I have an announcement to make.Something strange has been going around.Many stolen cards, and locator cards.If you ever see someone with stolen locator cards or playing cards contact either I or Kaiba.Elimination will be starting in a short while, so get to those duels.

Yugi:Okay I am done, now for the eliminations.You shall take the honor Kaiba...[/b][/size][/color]

"I play a monster in defense mode..." Hermes announced.

There wasn't much more he could do. Petra's trap would keep him from using his face-down cards.

Petra snickered. "Already cowering, Hermes? I will play a card face-down. Then my Concrete Mixing machine will destroy your card!"

Concrete was poured over the card, then smashed just like previously, revealing the Meridion Sphinx.

"Now, Kazim, attack his life points! Heartless Pounce!"

Hermes could almost feel the earth-shattering blow. (3800->2200)

"Now it is my turn, and I summon the Wacky Leprechaun." Hermes smirked. Petra never saw that card before. (1500/900)

Petra though of it a moment. Hermes' cards were always full of surprises. She decided to go for it.

"Concrete-Mixing Machine, attack!"

The pixie flipped his coin, and shure enough, won the bet. (4000->3500)

"I can't risk losing another monster. You're on, Hermes."

"Thank you Petra. I will now sacrifice my Wacky Leprechaun and summon Hades, King of the Underworld. Hades, attack! Hell Curse!"

The ball of black energy flew at the stone giant, but a sand wall suddenly raised from the ground and absorbed the assault.

"Not with my Sandcastle protecting my monster. Now I equip my giant with the Heart of Kazim. This precious stone allows him tou double it's attack!"

"WHAT? I didn't know you finally found that card." Hermes said.

"There is much more to me than meet the eye, my dear." Petra commented with a smirk.

A shining ruby appeared and embedded itself in Kazim's chest. (1600->3200) Then Kazim tore through Hades. (2200->1450)

Hermes looked at his deck. All he needed now was another lucky pull. He seemed to get that a lot recently. He drew and played the card without looking

"I play the Tsunami of Poseidon!"

Petra gasped. The god of all oceans appeared and with it's almighty trident, generated an overflooding tidal wave that washed over Petra's side of the field. She shuffled the cards back into her deck and waited for Hermes' next move.

"I also use monster reborn to bring back my Two Headed Cerberus! Attack with Nightmare Flammes!"

The blueish flammes flew at Petra. (3500->2000) She prepared to counterattack.

"I summon the Living Fossils, in attack mode!"

A swarm of small skeletal creatures appeared on her side of the field. (1400/1200)

"And I will boost them with the field card Gaia Power!"

A tall three raised from the ground and glowed in a pale green light. (1400/1200)->(1900/800)

"My fossils, attack! Bone Swarm!" Petra called for vengeance.

"My, my, Petra, are you that upset as to forget my three face-down cards can now be activated? Go, Reverse Trap!"

The Living Fossils' stats reversed. (1900/800)->(900/1600) They were a piece of cake now. (2000->1400)

"And activate, Death Calculator! As long as this trap is in play, all monsters sent to the graveyard deal 500 points of dammage to their owners!"

A machine looking like a demented mechanical calculator clicked. "1 x 500 = 500" It then shot a laser ray at Petra. (1400->900)

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan had seen Yugi come over the announcement system. Ryan clutched his hands into a fist, he didn't want to see any of his friends eliminated, but if they were then they were, there was nothing he could do. Just then a slight breeze billowed behind him, it tossed his coat amongst the wind. Ryan closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. He turned around and headed for the main interior dueling arena.[/i]

[B]Inside at the main interior dueling arena.[/B]

[i]Kaiba stood up on the manevurable platform, he was wearing a classy buisness suit, he felt a little bad about this. "So much potential, but half of them must leave since they couldn't meet the requirements. Kaiba looked up and saw Ryan and his group of friends. He grinned, Kaiba knew that group of friends would go to comeplete great things. He watched as the last of the duelists arrived. He turned on the mike and spoke into it.[/i]

Kaiba: Welcome duelists, I am glad that you have participated in Battle Cruise, but regretfully some of you must leave....The 500 duelists that don't have 10+ locator cards please head back to your cabin and pack your things, you will be left on the main Island of Hawaii. Once the tournament is over we will return for you. That is all.

[i]A large screen with pictures and names of the duelists who would be leaving popped up as Kaiba walked off the platform. Ryan sat there and watched as young kids and even a few teens walked out of the arena, just then Yugi came up. (this is Yami Yugi speaking)[/i]

Yami Yugi: To the duelists that have made it thus far I applaud you and hope to see you again. Remember, you need 20 Locator cards to stay on the ship, otherwise you'll be in the second elimination.

[i]Yugi then walked off and Ryan stood up and headed back to his new cabin. Just then another kid walked up to him.[/i]

Kid: I challenge you to a duel!

Ryan: *Yawn* Okay.[/COLOR]

[Hyper]

Ryo just clsoed his eyes and chuckled to himself from the far deck. He had made it past the first elimination, and was qualified for the second third round after the second elimination.

He decided, after reporting to Kaiba what he ahd seen, to do a small investigation of his own. He walked down near the cargo hold of the ship, and looked around.
He was able to follow a trail of Duel Monster cards until he discovered a small room under the ship. He took a peak and saw a large table with several people around it. Somethign was in the middle.
He turned around to run back, but something instanly knocked him out. Everything was black.

When he woke up, he found himself with his feet chained to a stone paltform. His duel disk and deck were still there, but he was completely immoble.
The platform was raised high,a nd he could see another paltform, at a lower distance, across from him.
There was a sudden jolt and both platforms became level. A dark figure came out of nowhere and stepped up. He brandished a duel disk, and stared up at Ryo. He could tell a duel was coming.

Ryo stared down at the floor. He then suddenly realized, there was no floor! It was so dark he coudln't see down. But the shadowy suspct quickly assured him.

???: Go down, and you won't come up. First to loose the duel goes down.
He pointed down with one hand, and pointed to the wall with another hand. Ryo tok a look and saw marks between 4000 and 0. Both platforms jumped towards the ceiling.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan looked at his challenger, it was a young girl, not Rebecca. Just a young girl with a look of determination. Ryan grinned, she had quite the pile of Locator cards. Ryan grinned.[/i]

Ryan: How many do you wish to wager?

Girl: Well, I have 13, so lets wager 10.

Ryan: Deal.

[i]The two drew their cards. Ryan's opening hand was LaJinn, Prevent Rat, Island Turtle, Harpie's Brother, and Penguin Soldier.[/i]

Ryan: I'll draw (Dark Necrofear) and set one card face down and end my turn.

Girl: I'll play LaJinn in attack mode and attack your face down monster.

Ryan: Prevent rat, you lose 200 Life Points. Its my turn, I'll draw (Whiptail Crow) and set another monster face down and end my turn.

Girl: I'll tribute my LaJinn for Summoned Skull!!

Ryan: Uh-Oh.

Girl: Summoned Skull! Attack that nasty rat!

[i]Summoned Skull launched an electrical attack and in a blinding flash the rat was gone.[/i]

Ryan: Crap. I'll draw (Mirror Force) and Play Harpie's Brother in attack mode and set one card face down, ending my turn.

Girl: I'll play Vorse raider in attack mode! I'll attack with Summoned Skull!!

Ryan: Trap Activate! Mirror Force! All your monsters are bye-bye!

Girl: Awww man! I'll end my turn.

Ryan: Perfect! I'll draw (Axe of Despair)and now I'll sacrifice my Island turtle and Harpie's Brother to bring upon Dark Necrofear in attack mode!

[i]After the two monsters were gone a huge blue bald headed monster appeared, it was holding a wrecked baby-doll, its eyes glowed yellow. It was quite a sight to see. The girl was obviously scared.[/i]

Ryan: Now my Necrofear Attack her life Points

[i]The monster's eye glowed even brighter and then a huge amount of dark energy shot out of it. The girl's life points dropped to 600.[/i]

Ryan: Its your turn.

Girl: Okay, I'll place one monster face down and end my turn.

Ryan: Fine with me. I'll pass this turn.

Girl: Wha?

Ryan: You heard me, its your turn again.

Girl: Okay. Well get ready to lose. Cause what I got coming up will make you quiver.[/COLOR]

(David had called in the comfermation of Rebecca as a target, and was looking for another opponent. He sees a girl taunting her opponent, and walks over to her)
David: Would you like to duel?
Girl: Sure. Name's Mai.
David: I'm David. Let's duel.

???: Go Swords of Revealing Light! Protect me from harm!
Ryo: Humph. I'll just play a monster in Defense mode.
???: I'll play my Giant Orc and attack you directly! Watch your life poitns go down!
Ryo: But I have a monster! How is that possible?
???: Let's just say we did an "adjustment" on your Duel Disk!
Ryo: That's so unfair! How can you do this!?

Ryo was knocked down as his paltform was dropping significantly. How can he win, when he can't even defend himself?

The Giant Orc had switched to defense mode, so Ryo was hopeless. He played Dian Keto the Curemaster, but instead of going up , he won't down. Ryo couldn't Lifepoints, he could nply loose them.

On the next turn hte Giant Orc switched to Attack mode and readied its club to strike...

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan had drawn a card before the end of his previous turn, it was Horn of the Unicorn, but he decided to keep it in his hand for the time being. The girl on the other hand had thrown out another monster in defense mode and just as she had ended her turn the swords of revealing light disappeared. It was Ryan's turn.[/i]

Ryan: I'll draw (Gearfried), and play Gearfried the Iron Knight in attack mode! I'll now attack your face down monster with Gearfried.

Girl: NO! My Mystical Elf! Oh, wait, hehe. You lose 200 Life points now. Haha!!

Ryan: Yes, well I'll end my turn for now.

Girl: Too bad. I draw. Yippe!!! I got the perfect card to get rid of you for good!! I sacrifice my two monsters for my Dark Magician girl.

[i]Ryan had to bite his tounge from laughing out loud, this was hillarious, this girl thought that a monster with an attack of 2000 could wipe out a dark necrofear? This girl must have some plan otherwise she wouldn't be so confident.[/i]

Ryan: What? You think I ain't gonna attack? Too bad, Darknecrofear! Attack and destroy!!!

[i]The blue monsters eyes flared brilliant yellow again and a huge blast of energy destroyed the Dark Magician girl in an instant. The duel had been won. Ryan just decided to take three locator cards instead of the agreed ten. After that duel Ryan headed for the lower parts of the ship, he saw some kid with black clothing go down into the lower part of the ship.[/i][/COLOR]

Mai: (Draws) I play Harpie's Lady in attack mode. (1300) I then set one card face down.
David: (Draws Polymerization) (To himself) I've seen her play before. She always uses Mirror Wall. I shouldn't attack. At least, not with my monster) I play Change of Heart on your Harpie's Lady to take control of it for one turn. I then attack you with it.
Mai: Activate trap card! Mirror Wall! It cut's every attacking monster's attack points in half. (1300->650)
David: I thought so. I end my turn.
Mai: (Draws) I switch Harpie's Lady to defense mode and play Harpie's Brother in attack mode. It's your turn.
David: (Draws Remove Trap) I play remove trap on your Mirror Wall, destroying it. I then attack your Harpie's Brother with Blackland Fire Dragon. It's destroyed, and you lose 300 Life Points.

Mai: I play one monster in defense mode and one card face-down.
David: (Draws Summoned Skull) I sacrifice my Blackland Fire dragon to play Summoned Skull in attack mode. I then use Polymerization to fuse it with my REBD from my hand to create the Black Skull Dragon! (3200) Your turn.

As the announcement ringed through the boat and the minds, Petra and Hermes looked at each others.

"Eh, looks like whoever wins get to stay." Hermes commented.

"I am not done with you yet, Hermes!" Petra warned him. "I lay a card face-down and end my turn."

"I summon the Hellish Bear!" Hermes slapped the card down. (1300/1800) "Hellish Bear, attack!"

"Activate trap! Raining Rocks!"

An avalanche of rocks piled down on Hermes' monster and destroyed it, triggering the Death Calculator: "1 x 500 = 500". (1450->950)

"Unfortunately, your card can't protect you against an attack from my Two-Headed Cerberus, can it?" (950->0)

The Giant Orc came charging and gave a finisging blow to Ryo. His lifepoints dropped to 0, and he ahd lost.

????: Now give me your Vampire Lord, and all your virus cards!
Ryo: No way! Play by the rules and there's a chance I might consider it. After you lose!
????: Sorry, but your out of time.

The platform dropped suddenly. Ryo was prepared for the worst. He wasn't sure hat would happen. He couldn't escape. Unlesss someone helped him. And just his luck, someone enters the secret room.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan had been walking down further into the ship, he knew none of the duelists had rooms this far down, so why the blockade gates were open was a mystery. After heading down to the lowest deck with cabin rooms on them Ryan saw a door leading to the cargo hold, somehow Ryan had a bad feeling that he was being followed, he whirled around and saw another hooded guy rushing at him. Ryan sidestepped and turned around and rammed his fist straight into the man's gut, he fell like a sack of potatoes. Ryan hauled the man into an empty cabin and deposited him on the floor and took a chair and jammed it underneath the handle so the guy couldn't get out. Ryan opened the door to the cargo hold just in time to see some dark figure and a platform holding the boy dropping into the darkness. Ryan decided to play hero.[/i]

Ryan: Hey!! How about you duel me!

Man: Hehe, another sacrifical lamb,oh and one with the power of three Blue Eyes White dragons! I accept!

Ryan: Fine! Ya wanna play unsanctioned then fine! If I win you let both of us go and fork over 2 of your rarest cards.

Man: And if I win?

Ryan: If you win I offer you my life.

Man: Oh? How interesting...Lets duel!

Ryan: Fine, I'll go first and draw (Swords of Revealing light) and Play the magic card Swords of Revealing Light!!! And then play Blue Eyes number one in attack mode and I'll tear off 3000 of your life points!

Man: Wha?! Too soon! Fine, I'll play this card face down and end my turn.

Ryan: Perfectly fine with me, I'll draw (Fusion Gate) and play the field card Fusion Gate!!!

Man: Uh-Oh...

Ryan: Now, I remove my REBD and Summoned Skull from play and bring upon my Black Skull Dragon!! My BEWD will attack your face down monster!!

Man: Flip Man-Eater Bug! I destroy your Black Skull Dragon.

Ryan: Damn. I end my turn.

Man: Fine, I'll set one monster face down again and end my turn.

Ryan: Fine: I draw (Royal Command) and set one card face down and end my turn.

Man: Heh, I flip my second man-eater bug and destroy...

Ryan: Oh no you don't!!! Trap activate! Royal Command!!! All flip effect monsters effects are negated and aren't activated. Eat that!

Man: No!!

Ryan: Now its my turn! I draw (BEWD number 2) and summon my second BEWD! I now attack your man eater bug with BEWD number one and end the game with BEWD number 2. Now, release both of us! And fork over two of your rarest cards!!!!

Man: I won't! Get rid of them both!!!

[i]Before the man could give the command Ryan pounced and punched the man right in the gut. He then drove his foot into the man.[/i]

Ryan: Release us now or suffer more pain, and make it your 3 rarest cards, three for having to put up with your crap!

Man: Fine! Release them and here. These are my rarest cards.

[i]As Ryan helped Ryo out of the cargo hold and up to the top deck Ryan looked at the three rare cards. Fiend Megacyber, Amazon Swordsman, and Cosmo Queen. The guy looked at him and grinned.[/i]

Kid: Thanks. My name's Ryo.

Ryan: Ryan. What were you doing down there?

Ryo: Investigating.

Ryan: Oh. Well, we should head to Kaiba's office.

Ryo: Yeah, but I think that by the time a team reaches that section they will have moved to another part of the ship.

Ryan: Yeah but still.

OOC: Summoned Skull was on the feild, and as a Feind monster, is powered up by Yami. Yami powers up Feinds and Spellcasters, and weakens Faries.

Takuya is correct, Summoned Skull got the power bonus, but Takuya, you should have posted that in your last post, beacause most of us got the misconception that you won the game with just one monster please in your duels later on please make sure to post more clearly.

Ryo: No, they nearly had me. Until Ryan showed up and saved me.

Ryan: Made them hand over their 3 rarest cards.

Kaiba: Well, if I know anything about these guys, they will have moved around by the time we get down there.

Ryan: True. Just now we know they are hiding on this ship. So we gotta be careful.

Ryan: Yeah, I am a little tired. Well Ryo I'll see ya.

[i]Ryan headed off for his cabin, he found the cabin easily. Once he opened the door he flicked on the light and walked in and shut and locked the door and went into his room and flopped onto the bed and fell into a deep sleep.[/i][/COLOR]

Before Ryo went to his cabin he told Kaiba everything. Kaiba was able to gather a lot of information from Ryo's memories. Now Kaiba new where to put his attention too.

After Kaiba had started sending orders, Ryo just walked down to his cbain and went to bed. But for some reason he just couldn't sleep.

[COLOR=darkblue][i]Ryan awoke to his alarm clock going off. He woke up and changed into a loose button up T-Shirt and a pair of Kahki shorts and strapped on his dueling simulator and headed out. Today was extremely sunny and nice. Ryan headed towards the cafe to get some breakfast, just then Ryan saw Kyriss wandering around with Shinji.[/i]

Ryan: Hey guys!

Shinji: Hey Ryan. What's new?

Kyriss: Hi. Anything new?

Ryan: Not much, just walking around today, hopefully I can relax.

Shinji: Where are you off to?

Kyriss: Really?

Ryan: To the cafe for some breakfast.

Kyriss: I'm gonna come with ya.

Shinji: Same here.

Ryan: Okay.

[i]The three of them headed for the cafe and saw that a lot of the duelists were already there getting ready to eat the continental breakfast that was being served. This breakfast consisted of pancakes, eggs, bacon, orange juice, and other breakfast foods. Just as Ryan had gotten a plate of food some kid walked up to him.[/i]

Kid: I challange you to a duel!

Ryan: ACK!! I was just about to eat some breakfast! Fine, if ya wanna duel, ya got one!!!
