JCBaggee
There are scripts and searching for directors/producers/whatnot for a live action Dragon Ball Z movie, but there has been no definate movement, nor has filming been greenlighted. I'm sure you're only going to hear about it everwhere when it is though 0_o As for the other movies, you are missing out on a bit, but don't expect the first few to be that great. The first three or four movies were okay, but you won't get really good ones 'till the 5th one ^_^. --Chris
Dan Rugh
I think a live-action Dragonball Z movie would be so stupid! The heads, the hair, the eyes, the noses, the muscles, everything: would all look ridiculous on a real person. I hope that the movie plans fall through!! Bleh! Guest The Mage Prince
DBZ is and will be an anime. just think how crappy the energy blast would look not to mention the energy aruas around their bodies. i think it might be better if they make an movie lengh anime movie so eveything would stay the same. if they did make a live action dbz movie the movie reviewers would not like it anyway. Called Dragon Ball the magic begins which was made in Hong Kong. Next time try to be a little more cordial to people, since you yourself already made a mistake. In other news so far from what I heard they haven't greenlighted the DBZ Live Action movie for filming based on various reasons. One of those reasons being they haven't found a cast or people willing to work in this film. Also there is a strong Anti DBZ live action movement going on in which people have signed petitions against the filming of it. For these reasons and many more the live action movie hasn't begun production and hopefully if I have anything to say about it, it will never get made. A dead franchise should remain dead! As for the Dragon Ball Z anime movies, your not missing too much since most of them actually are side stories that don't fall into any jurisdiction within the series. Only a handful of them are good mainly movies 5,6,7,8,9, and 12.

Chaos
Originally posted by Rick Hunter A dead franchise should remain dead!
Okay then. *shoots Robotech* It's Fox that's making the new live-action movie. The UK will get the movies...you just have to order them. Duh. The only good movies are 3, 8, 9, 12, and 13.
shibatku
Well there are more DBZ movies. I don't know why your crying about that their isn't anymore because they came out with 13 recently and there is more on the way. If you want them that bad just go on e-bay and you can find the *** version subs. The real live one Beckett did a little thing on the movie if it came out. No one knows when or if it will actually come out.

I wish they would come out with all of them on tape, they have only come out with a few here in the US.
Vicky
LIve actoin movie?!? Yeh...If thay DID make one it would be hard and all 'cos of the powering up and all and fling! Anyway IT DON'T WANT TO SEE THE ACTOIN MOVIE!!! I live in salford, and thay don't even show movies of dbz, 'cos not many people like it!!!
Youko Minamino
Why the Dragon Ball Movies are bad. 1. They're filler. Toriyama-San had 0 to do with them, and therefore when they're not "official". 2. Movies cause huge plotholes, because they're filler. 3. 0 of the movies fit into the timeline. 4. Movie characters just wont die!!!!!
Vicky
I say that thay should stop confusing people with moveis, and just show it all in one series. I was so sad when Dbz was about to end.

Mhm, you're partially right though not completely Akira Toriyama had a process in making the first 9 films, afterwards during the second half of the DBZ movies from movie 10 and up other people the one's responsible for GT are responsible mostly for the DBZ Movies. As for your other points I agree, the thing that always irked me about the DBZ flicks was the fact none of them really fall into any timeline within the series. For the exception of Dead Zone which takes place before the beginning of Raditz, and Movie 9 which apparently took place before Mirai(Future)Trunks left back to his timeline after the cell saga.
