Yeah, Granpa's Violin is a nice song. Im pretty sure its the BG music for when they talk to Harold for the first time. I'll have to watch that episode and see.

On the soundtrack,this part may differ,its english!!

Can someone help me? It's been nagging at me for a LONG LONG LONG time. On the show the song that goes "Shine, Bright Morning Light" (I'm not sure if that's how it goes but that's as much as I remember it...) What's that song's name and where can I find it [on the internet] :huh:

The name of the song is [I]Fake Wings[/I], and you can find it in the first soundtrack. On the internet, I would recommend eBay as your best bet, because the first soundtrack seems to be a scarce commodity (at least the english version is). If you can sit tight, [url=http://animenation.net/news/]AnimeNation[/url] says that Bandai is going to be releasing all the soundtracks separately, so you might be able to snag one then.

heh, my favorite song from .hack//SIGN is Aura (I have a line from it on my signature) It's really cool and it's basically about Aura talking to Tsukasa. I'll write down all i know from it...

"Liminality" is, "the transitional period or phase of a rite of passage, during which the participant lacks social status or rank, remains anonymous, shows obedience and humility, and follows prescribed forms of conduct, dress, etc." (from infoplease.com.) The problem is, that's hard for me to get my head around, because in the song, liminality seems to be desirable, so my thought is that it refers to "liminal" which is defined as pertaining to (your?) threshold. Of what, then? I don't know, but I rather like the image of pushing against what you can normally handle. :D!

I love the music... I bought all the soundtracks. o.o;; It's actually through listening to the music that I became obsessed with .hack//SIGN. My favorite song would have to be The World (extra ver.) although that doesn't mean I don't like any of the others. Quite the opposite, really. I listen to the CDs before and while I'm asleep, so it can seep into my unconscious brain. ;)
