Do any of you read Shonen Jump? Naruto and One Piece are absolutely wonderful. I'm so glad it finally came to the states!

Shonen Jump kicks butt!!! Each story (apart from Sandland) is just so great I end up reading each issue a hundred times over... Or around that.. Or not. -_-

My favorite manga has to be Naruto-- The action, the humor, the animation, it's all amazing. ^_^ There's a decent amount of human drama as well.. My only little nitpick about it is that sometimes you have to read the chapter a few times to entirely understand what is happening (They transform into inanimate objects sometimes and the plans are quite complicated at times so you have to study each frame carefully...

^_^ I'd definitely reccomend it to anyone who likes a good action story. Even though it's Shonen, there are quite a few girls that like Naruto in Japan as well.

The only graphic novel manga I've read at this point is Lone Wolf and Cub... if that's even considered one. Ranma 1/2 too, actually... but that's just a collection of issues.

I have Dark Knight Returns, Black Orchid, Grendel Tales and so on.

The others I read are random American comics and stuff like Akira and Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed... but again, these are just collections of issues stuffed into a book. They didn't start as graphic novels.

Yes! I love Rave Master! It's the second manga I ever picked up and read. The first was No Need For Tenchi. So far, those are the only manga I read. I have one more volume of Tenchi left to read, and Rave Master is still being translated to English. I can't wait for the Rave Master anime to go on sale in the US next year.

I find it really strange that No Need For Tenchi the manga has twice as much action as the Tenchi Muyo anime. Twice as much comedy, too. In fact, the manga has stronger doses of everything I love about the anime.

I've been thinking about picking up Love Hina. I heard it's not so bad. There's a couple other manga I've seen in the store that look pretty interesting. If it didn't take me roughly an hour to read an entire manga volume, I'd read all of them. Sadly, there are only 24 hours in a day, and Borders book store is only open for 12 of them.

I LOVE the Inu Yasha manga! I like it better than the anime. I can't wait until vol. 15 comes out in Novemeber. I also like Ramna 1/2. I've been meaning to check out some other mangas, but I'm always so rushed at the book store. Maybe next time. Where do you get Shonen Jump? I tink I saw it at Blockbuster once, but I might be mistaken.

Bwhahahahaha. Fear me and my manga obsession!

Lettsee. My favourite mangas would have to be Chobits, Love Hina, Wish, X/1999, Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, Sailor Moon (yes, I am a SM fan!), and CardCaptor Sakura (which is pretty much what I own right now).

Either than that, pretty much any manga that I can get my hands on. Luckily, I have this kick-arse manga store just down the street from my house (literally!) that I can walk to anytime I have a manga craving, but right now I'm broke. T_T;;

Really, I'll read any manga that you can throw at me, as long as it doesn't involve shounen-ai/yaoi (yuri also) or something that is too sexually explict (yes, Chobits and Love Hina are like that, but they're both too cute to turn down!).

Wah. I hate TokyoPop, only because they're making me wait for the 7th issue of Chobits. I want my Chobits! *cries*

But, however, if you can get your hands on it, I recommend trying to find a manga called "MegaTokyo". It is one of the few webmangas (http://www.megatokyo.com) that has been printed, and MegaTokyo is like liquid crack. I'm not kidding. Then again, webmangas are like liquid crack too . . . (I have 73 so far, and MegaTokyo is one of 'em.) --;;;;

I've got quite a few favorites! I'd have to say anything Clamp is at the top of my manga list (e.g. Wish, Card Captor Sakura, Magic Knights Rayearth) I have to admit though, if shounen-ai and the like bother you, Clamp may not be the way to go (There are enough hints to clearly show intended yaoi/yuri).

Oh yeah, I wanted to add that I thought Shonen Jump is great! I love my romancey shojo manga, but it's nice to see a character get in an actual fight every once in awhile. (I can't help but treasure my one Shonen Jump. Naruto, One Piece, even Sand Land, I love them all!)

When it comes to Manga no one and I mean no one is better than Masamuns Shirow!!! For thoes who don't know who he is you better find out fast. He made Ghost in the Shell, Appelseed, Dominion Tank Police, Black Magic, and Orion. His art books, Intron Depot, kick. Even though now they are border line Hentai, but I'm not complaning. He is the best manga artist out there! Also the Akira TPB's are awesome.

:toothy: Why, Gravitation, of course. My kind of manga, with gay bishies running around everywhere. ^_^ I like the art style and Suichi makes me laugh every now and then.

I also like DN Angel, not exactly my favorite type of manga, but it's still good. ^_^ I also like the Akira and Ghost in the Shell mangas, they're both excellent.
