WickedThought
Jason is where I'm gettin it, you can thank me for that champion by the way;) I also plan for a destroy land instant damage deck with some indigo eggs just got to be patient and bye singles some time^_^ Does any one like the idea of huge creature decks. Like green decks with scaled worms and bests to totally overwhelm your opponent. I like the idea alot but can't seem to make a really good one:(. got any suggestions... I have Crush of worms, Blanch wood armours, Gias embrace's and alot of worms and mana producing elves to bulk this deck up. Any fun bigger creatures that can crush people that you know of? Hey also I'm looking for token producing methods of winning and overwhelming your opponent does any one know a combo for this? of any color?
Zerosaber
A token producing deck I can think of is using Elf's with lots of mana producing elves's(wirewood channeler, Birchwood rangers Llanowar elves. , Wirewood hivemaster( whenever a non-token elf comes into play put a green 1/1 insect into play) Voice of the woods( tap five untapped elfs you control to put a 7/7 green elemental with trample into play) Crush of wurms, Maybe even roar of the Wurm and parralell evolution( Each players puts a copy of each creature token into play of an exact token of the one copied and it has a flashback cost)
wizard-of-oz
hey, i have a voice of the woods. is there a card that makes lots of elf tokens? the new legions deck has lots of elfs, i was gona get that.

WickedThought
There is an Elf card that makes tokens I enchanted it from Jason ^_^ I won that game by the way:cool: and I have crush of worms that I plan to use any helpful token producing artifacts?:)
Heartless Me
As far as making a deck that makes big creatures, put in some krosan wayfarers(1/1, sacrifice to put an extra land into play) and nantuko elders(1/2 tap to add 1 green and 1 colorless to your mana pool) also some werebears would do good too.(1/1, tap to give 1 green. threshold-get's +3+3) This is a great way to get more mana and get your huge creatures out early. If you have trouble getting the cards you need splash blue and add some draw card spells.
\/AnimeFreak\/
My friend has paralell evoulution which doubles all tokens in play, then flashes it back, so he got out over like 100 something tokens from Worms to Squirells and played Overrun and slaughtered me. >.<

\/AnimeFreak\/
I know, but that is a green card, I changed my color to red. That kind of puts me at a predicament. But I usually just kill him with direct damage and it doesn't matter.
Heartless Me
i believe there is a red dd card that does a certain amount of damage to all creatures.... if not i'm pretty sure there is a card that destroys all tokens in play

It costs 6 its a 6/5 and costs one forest to regenerate. Another would be Gang of Elk. Its a 5/4 (if I remember correctly) but when Gang of Elk is blocked Gang of Elk gets +2/+2. Also Spore Colony its a 4/4 but you may remove a counter from him and give a +1/+1 counter on any creature.... Squirrels are great token creatures. They can make some killer combos. My friend has an amazing squirrel deck and uses many tokens. I'll try and get a hold of it soon if I do I'll tell you some of the cards.... Personally I am not a huge creature fan. I'm more of a sorcery/counter type of person. The most creatures I have in decks now is about 5-6.
Wintermute
Changing away from Token decks, the deck I'm currently using has some VERY potent combos in it. I am currently school champion and can't remember the last time I was beaten (not meant in a gloaty way) I call it 'Stingray' You know stingers? Creatures, usually small ones, which can tap to do one damage to target Creature or Player? It's based on them. There are some cards which are LETHAL when combined with them. Charisma (Mercadian Masques, Rare) - Whenever enchated creature deals damage to a creature, gain control of that creature. Sigil Of Sleep - Whenever enchanted creature deals damage to a player, return target creature that player controls to it's controllers hand Ensnaring Bridges (creatures with a power greater than the no. of cards in your hand cannot attack) and Propagandas (must pay 2 mana for each creature that would attack you) are pivotal in the defence And the ultimate killer combo - Hermetic Study (enchanted creature becomes a stinger) and Horseshoe Crap (1/3, pay 1 blue mana to untap) This combo basically does X+1 damage divided however you want, each 1 damage counting as seperate from the others, so it baffles things like Circles of Protection. Good stingers include The Prodigal Sorceror (or Tim, as we like to call him, Monty Python reference) Thornwind Fairies and Stinging Barriers
Heartless Me
that is an awesome combo, too bad it's 1.
Sui Generis
Oh by the way Arikel there is a red card that does x damage to all creatures without flying and each player. Its Earthquake. Although a great Direct Damage card is Lava Burst. It costs the same as fireball and has an un-believably awesome advantage. It can't be counter or re-directed. My friend has a red deck and I have a black and blue deck. That card kills me 90% of the time that he wins. I had a deck like that WinterMute....I was told it was illegal in every tourney I went to....it was quiet irratating....

Sui Generis
Don't double post ;) Does anyone use a sliver deck anymore. I remember the golden days where those things ruled as gods. Yet I never had one and still would win. Now I use 'em and I rule the land. Lol.... Do you think the styles of magic go in a cycle? Or is it just completely random?
Ultima Legacy
Well... what do you mean by a cycle? If I knew, then I could answer the question.
Heartless Me
I play slivers! *jumps up and down drawing attention to myself.* There is to much stuff to coutner against it nowadays. You need to throw in counter spells and other creature protection shtuff to keep your slivers in the game.
\/AnimeFreak\/
I only know like one person with a sliver deck, it is ok, but it doesn't stand a chance against my direct damage deck. I don't really know anyone with an awesome sliver deck.
Sui Generis
Actually sliver decks are amazing for just that reason. Every one thinks they're out dated and so you sneak up on 'em and ope you win the game! What I ment by cycle is. Do you think every one pretty much has their own strategy. Or does like everyone in a certain area have the same basic strategy? Like a West Coast strategy or something...
Heartless Me
Ummm, Anime freak, no offense but there is a 75% chance that my sliver deck would tear your direct damage deck into the ground.... With my strategies you wouldn't get very far.
Wintermute
I know someone who uses a sliver deck, and it laid waste to all before it. Eventually he had to retire it because absolutely no-one could beat it, especially when he got Crystalline Slivers out. It was just getting boring for him. Since then, cards like Engineered Plague have made Slivers a less scary concept, but they're nasty nevertheless.
