I had a green worm that was a 6/4 trample and the good thing about it was that after it died it became a 6/4 black worm from the grave yard and still had trample.^_^ it was on of my fav's another combo I like is 4 rancores and 4 weather seed tree folkes the rancors are +2/+0 and give trample the tree folks are 5/3's trample and when these cards leave play they go back to your hand;) it works pretty well for relentless assaults. Hey maul your right about pumping up shades thats really fun^_^ but I used that a while ago.

That is cool, I have a 6/6 worm with trample that has the same ability, when it dies, put a 6/6 green worm token into play, I am not sure if it still has trample when it comes back into play (my cards aren't organized and I can't find it>.<) I think it does. I have been hunting for a few crush of the worms, but sadly I have found nothing. But I a creature that if you tap it using a ability, destroy target enchantment and put two target cards from opponents graveyard back into hand. That is my favorite enchantment destroying creature.

the ultimate deck would belong to me. I have a white/red/green that owns because it's a bunch of weenies, and then I break out the angelic transformations, and use radient's judgement to smack all those big hunks out, add a little rancors and lightning bolts, you know, just in case. Biggest creature I use is a 5/4 thran war machine.

I'm a Blue/White player, focusing on Morphs and Avens. My favorite strategy is to always have a Counter Spell on my hand (with enough mana to use it), while I start throwing many Morphs. I also have Ixidor, which raises all Morphs by +1/+1, and allows me to pay only 2 colorless and 1 blue to flip any Morph.
With the Crawshfiel(sp?) Crab,I quickly take my opponent's best cards, and use them agaisnt him.

And if he/she uses a color-protected creature, I'll just use my Alter Reality (change the color text of any card, permanently).

I hate counterspells wtih a passion.>.< My friends older brother has this really annoying counterspell deck, but I can just talk him out of his counterspells.:D I did try a red and green deck, red direct damage and some creature enchantments, and green creatures with green destroy enchantments, and enchant creatures. The deck turned out ok, but it didn't even close to compare to my best green deck. I am horrible with any other color then green. :bawl: I am trying to pick up tricks from other people at local tornaments, but I won't probably make a deck with any color than just green for a while.

My blue deck is chocked with licids that becomes a steal creature enchantment with 2/1 shadows, with enough hoodwinks or other stall cards to keep them at bay and with High tides (Doubles Island mana) and confinscates I quickly take the win^_^ but you know what smokey I think I could get used to a blue/stall white/build deck that could get scary to.

The most life I have ever ended with in a single game was against 3 other people and I ended with over 1,000 life.

Another great deck is turbo land but it is extremely expensive. It's blue and green and you need oath of druids, a battlefield scrounger, some time warps, counter spells, horn of greeds and explorations to get your cards out alot faster as well as accumulated knowledge, intuitions and a few brainstorms in your sideboard and a lot of lands.

the point of the deck is to get your battlefield scrounger out with your oath of druids and basically kill your deck but make sure you have enough mana to cast one or two time warps all the time. Use the battlefield scrounger to keep building up your library and boosting it's attack and defense to attack. Eventually you'll kill your opponant off because you'll have a never ending stock of timewarps and you have an infinite number of turns so they are going to loose anyway. lol

Sliver decks? don't even get me started on those! heheheheh.

4 essense slivers(gain life equal to the amount of damage slivers do)
4 magma slivers(tap target sliver: Gain +1/+0 for each other sliver in play)
4 crypt slivers(tap target sliver: Regenerate a sliver)
4 toxin slivers(If a sliver damages a blocking or blocked sliver bury that creature at the end of turn)
4 brood slivers(Put a 1/1 sliver token into play for each sliver that damages a player.)
4 Root slivers(this card cannot be countered, sliver spells cannot be countered.)
4 quintessent slivers(slivers may not be the target of spells and abilities).....(this and the root slivers are to help prevent card control)
4 Ward Slivers (When ward sliver enters play, slivers gain protection from target color.) ....(good if one is using red burn or black creature killer.)
4 Pyraxian Arenas(During your upkeep pay one life and draw one card.... for card draw or an engine for the words of worship)
4 Words of Worships(tap 1 mana: If at any point you would draw a card you MAY choose to gain five life instead. for life gain if needed)

plus a few more that i can't think of off hand. but this is bad arse.

yea, slivers are crazy. i have a white deck that gives protection and makes them stronger. i like inviobility(creature cant be delt damage) and pariah(rederect to enchanted creature all damage that would be delt to you) its funny if they have no destroy enchantments.

I am so happy that finally I found a decent Magic Tornament that is close to me. The other really good thing is that I can trade for about any card I need. :D I have only played one sliver deck, it was ok, but from seeing the cards you just mentioned, I am sure that was weak in comparison to yours.

I have a friend that has a sliver deck he has the ward slivers and a couple others that your talking about mabey but the unfortunate card he had was a blue sliver that made all others unblockable. The trick for him was getting some ordinary strong creature and using an enchantment to make it a sliver, which is pretty scary, but the funny thing is I still beat him^_^ thank god for my annoying as hell blue deck*:smirk:

The very first deck I ever made was blue, but it the least expensive creature was like 3 mana. It was also blue. I was also taught how to use blue when I first started. I am not sure how I started green. But my first deck was really slow, the funny thing is that I almost beat my friend who was teaching me.

Ok, here is one. What is/was your favorite card effect? I'd have to say either.

1.Banding because of how ungoldy powerful it was as far as damage distribution and such goes.

2. Haste- I mean come on now! who wouldn't want their creatures atttacking on the turn they come into play.

AND

3. buyback- excellent idea.... get the card back into your hand after you cast it. :D

I'm sorry I never mentioned my max life total.
With my White deck I was up to like 250 once.
With my Black deck I was up to like 350 once.
With my Blue and red deck I don't have any life gaining.
And With my Green deck I was up to THIS IS NOT A TYPO!!! up over 1,000,000 I repeat up over 1,000,000. I repeat THIS IS NOT A TYPO!!! and when I started the turn I was at one.

Okay. Let me get this straight.

See, I've been developing an interest in this stuff lately -- not because I want to play, necessarily, but because I want to know what the hell all you RPGers are talking abot.

So, apparently different colored desks do different things (since all of you seem to prefer a particular color or combo of colors over another). What I'm wondering is (& I'm sure you will all stare at me as if I have two heads) why don't you just buy every single deck so you can do whatever you want?

This is what I don't get. Some gamer friends I know have responded to my recent inquiries as to the progression of the games. It seems there are unspoken rules regarding who can do what when, & how powerful the player is supposed to be.

But I thought, with games, you are supposed to take every advantage you can to be the best. I guess I'm thinking of sports, because the saying "Win or lose, it's how you play the game" comes to mind, & it seems almost applicable here, but nobody really wants to lose deep down.

So the point is, why limit any characters at all for the sake of RPG etiquitte? If everybody controls their own character, or the plot, & everybody has to follow it... what's the point?

I guess I don't get the "make the rules as you go along" thing. Or maybe I just have the wrong impresison.

Alos, there seems to be, in the card games, a specific character who is in control. Who decides who is in control?

I'm seriously not patronizing, here, I'm genuinely curious.

Eddie... how in the world did you get that much life? what kind of match were you playing!?!? I mean god doesn't have that much life^_^ Lady Macaiodh feel free to PM me too if you would like I just finished learning all the rules my self. Hey guess what I just made a kick *** goblin deck it may sound weird but it was good enough to beat a sliver deck with goblin grenades, if you use all four of them your opponent is dead and if you dont get tham all your mass amounts of goblins and a couple blaZes finish them it's crazy no match lasted over 10 turns^_^ I think I might try a Kavu deck next there quick and for a specific friend. *protection from slivers*:naughty:

My green deck is a beast indeed, however my rule is that the only way you discover one of my "Power nine" combos is by being on the recieving end of them. My "power nine" combos are combos that are so powerful that there is no feasable way for me to loose once I get them out. Seroisly I've faced copies of every single world champion decks and every time I get the combos out all they can do is sit back and cry. Even control decks are powerless!!! Anyway here's a new question for you what's the most you've ever attacked for, don't even bother thinking that you have me beat I once attack good ole Unknown master X here at the OB for over I REPEAT OVER 600,000,000,000,000!!! This is not a typo OVER 600,000,000,000,000 It was the sweatest thing in my life!!! But I still lost!! Arrgh!
