Disgusting moments

I'm American and watch a lot of TV, and I can tell you that MTV disgusts me at times. It's not so much the music videos, but the other 22 hours of programming they air.

An hour? A freaking hour? Aren't their laws that prevent witnesses of crimes from behaving completely apathetically? I'm basing that guess off of an episode of Seifeld, but that's entirely beside the point. I admit that I am self-involved enough to not jump a dangerous man with a knife, in fear of my own safety, but I would've at least tried to help the dieing woman during the hour she wasn't being attacked.

Just when you thought calling 911 for a mortally wounded person was common sense, a street full of people let a woman die. That's horrible.

Popping all my joints back into place once they were dislocated. This includes:

Right kneecap twice, right and left shoulders once, all the fingers on my left hand and my ankle. One of the most disgusting things to happen, lol.

::Paces the floor::

I don't see how someting like this could happen. It reminds me of that scene in The Mexican where Julia Roberts' character is kidnapped. At first, I thought the scene was a little unrealistic, but apparently it's not.
I wish I wasn't serious. Heh.

Unfortunately, people really build intense walls around one another. Many have a "This ain't my business" mentality. In fact, in urban areas, it's very unlikely that neighbors will get to know one anothers' names. That's not always the case, but there's definitely less involvement than there once was.

The sickest thing I've seen, I'm sorry to say, is what I saw on Friday. A boy from a school (Can't remember the name of the school, but the team name was Raiders. Maybe Neil can help me out on this one.) was walking home at a RED light, and some jackass on a cellphone ran the light, hit the kid, and didn't stop, as if it were a speedbump. About fifteen, twenty people were around, and nobody made a move to call 911. Eventually, somebody called, but my dad was too busy getting dinner (crayfish) for me to do anything but stare at society's ignorance.

Rummel? Pah. He deserved it.

But I suppose that is crappy. If the guy was all right, and then nobody called 911, I can kinda understand that. But Hell. I think it just might be a bit more complicated than someone just talking on their phone, John [Yes, I'm implying a hit and run].

One of the most disgusting things I have ever seen was a mother slap her child for asking simple child questions. I was riding a city bus in Corpus Christi and heard a little kid asking questions like how does the bus work mommy and simple things like that nothing out of the ordinary. The mother did not know the answer to the questions and apparently took her lack of knowledge out on the child. I still remember what she said. "I don't know , why do you ask such stupid questions ? quit bothering me" and the SLAP ! I can understand if she was having a bad day and her not wanting to answer a bunch of questions, but to hit the kid ?????? I can also understand corporal punishment( Mr dad had a ping pong paddle, mom had a tree branch), bnut this child was not be unruly auctually quite the contrary. It was just a example of the disgusting disdane for knowledge.

Oh one other disgusting thing Bass Armstrong in Dead or Alive Beach Vollyball wearing a tube top and a thong.

One of the most discusting things I ever saw was these boys killing cats with their dogs. They killed my cat, the grocery store owner`s cat and many many more. They even left the bodies out in the middle of the sidewalks and streets. I felt bad for the store owner. They threw the body of his cat in the basement so he could see it when he went down there.

Another thing was once when I was in 1st grade. The school crossing guard was not there so one of the people at the office took over. A girl was waiting to cross the street and the lady was yelling at her saying "Are you going to cross the street or what?!" The girl was scared of the woman so she crossed and a huge van came and hit the girl. The girl went flying in the air. I felt bad for her. Thank goodness she was okay. I seen her older. She has lots of bruises on her legs.
