Erika
Okay. I have a question about Sapphire. I need a female Feebas for breeding, but I can't FIND one anywhere! It's driving me crazy!:flaming: All I know is that you can fish for one on Route 119. My Nintendo Player's Guide said that there's 6 places to fish along Route 119, but the location of Feebas changes as the trendy saying in Dewford changes. THAT makes NO sense at ALL! Can somebody tell me HOW I can get a Feebas? I have a strong feeling that something isn't explained here. Guest Crimson Spider
Ahh! Feebas, possibly the most elusive pokemon in the game. Feebas does appear on all of route 119 at a 1% ratio. However, on one of the sections of route 119, Feebas has a 75% ratio to appear (the rod your using doesn't matter). What your guide says is correct. The trendy saying at Dewford DOES alter the location of Feebas. The area which he changes is seemingly random. To get Feebas (unless you are really lucky) you need a rod, and the waterfall technique to get around the route in water. Feebas, unlike any other pokemon in the game, evolves only when his beauty level reaches 170. His evolution, Milotic, is one of the most powerful monsters in the game! Also, while your there, I might suggest looking for Tropius, an extremely rare grass/flying mix found only on that route.
GuyYouMetOnline
About the trendy saying, people in Dewford will ask what you think is trendy. Use the vocabulary system to create a phrase. It will become popular among the citizens of Dewford.
Zanarkand Abes
I cuaght the Tropius, which seems to suck, but what is a Feebas?
Guest Crimson Spider
That is Feebas. He is the 140th pokemon in the pokedex numerical order.
Zanarkand Abes
Okay, but what is so great about a Feebas? Is he a vital part of something?
GuyYouMetOnline
He's the new Magikarp. He's absoultely awful, but his evolved form, Milotic, is the new Gyarados: one of the strongest Pokemon out there. Suggestion: Catch a Feebas whose nature makes him like Pokeblocks that raise Beauty. Erika
Yeah, I'm not too fond of legendaries. That's why I choose Pokemon like Milotic or somethin'. Me an' legendaries don't 'click.' I can't find a fave, except Ho-oh. The only one. But what I don't get is that whenever I find information on fish/surfing for Feebas (took me a while to realize I was fishing for it the wrong way...to surf AND fish at the same time...all those hours wasted *cries very loudly* Call me an idiot-retard or whatever, but I still don't get the "tile" thing! ><
Guest Crimson Spider
What it means by tile is that on your PokeNav, there are six squares for route 119. Feebas changes squares. Just waterfall and surf yourself to different parts and you'll catch her. (that is what I did)
Zanarkand Abes
What nature makes it more prone to beauty pokeblocks?
Guest Crimson Spider
If Feebas is mild, modest, quiet, or rash, it will like the pokeblock more and raise his beauty faster. However, if he is adament, careful, impish, or jolly, you will have a hard time maxing out his beauty because he'll hate the pokeblock.
Darkmoon
Feebas! I've been after that dratted (excuse my language) pokemon for a while now. He's driveing me crazy. I did hook one once but I accedentally fainted it -_-;; What barries do you need to make Beauty pokeblocks again? I've got very short termed memory... I found out its locations. At the top of the waterfall, the body of water to the right of the fisherman on that tiny island, and west of the house w/the Wingulls inside it. No Feebas. None. NONE!!! Really...somebody slap me.:twitch:
Guest Crimson Spider
Actually, he runs along that whole part of the highlighted area in the pokedex. Just surf, waterfall, and fish radomly if you are that desperate. There is always that 1%
Erika
This has been the biggest waste of time since I bought Time Stalkers the other week. :sleepy: Maybe I should get into the habit of drinking coffee...
Zanarkand Abes
I must apologize to Crimson Spider for the out of line commments I made. This is no excuse, but I had had one hell of a week and had to do that stupid TAKS Test to top it off. So I was a little edgey and unloaded on him. I apologize, and thank you for the help you have given.
Guest Crimson Spider
Apology accepted. Just to let you know, one person says that it works not in the tiles in your pokenav, but in the tiles that you travel in! That would take forever! I'm glad I got lucky. And since Feebas would appear extremely common in that place, catch about a dozen so you won't need to catch any more again. Then agian, there are so many rumors now, I don't know what to think. Desbreko
Lets watch the flaming, shall we? I don't want to have to send out any ban warnings over a help thread. That would just be silly. Zanarkand Abes, Crimson Spider was refering to questions that had been asked before he posted that, not to every question that was going to be posted in this thread. And from what I've seen, I'm pretty sure he did give all the info in the other thread. All he was doing was refering you to the other thread, in case you hadn't seen it yet, so that he wouldn't have to type out the same thing over again. And from what I've read, it seems like Crimson Spider has been pretty helpful. I understood most of what he was talking about, and I haven't even played R/S. And anyway, in the end, he is just trying to help. Oh and dark_serena, just to let you know, a post consisting entirely of smilies is spam (a quote doesn't count as other text, since you didn't write it). It's pretty much like a one word post, only even less informative.
Erika
(O-KAY Mr. Ego--Let's just drop the whole f*****' thing and get on with our petty lives, alright??? :demon: And if you wanna TP Abes' house, then just PM the fruit cup.:evil3: ) ANY-ways, like before, I fish-surfed in the key bodies of water, about 15 minutes each (I still don't see why ppl insist on calling them 'tiles'. They don't look like 'tiles' to me:grumble: ) on each part of the water, but none appeared. I fish-surfed above the waterfall, west of the Wingull house, and the area of water to the right of the fisherman on that island. Call me crap-for-brains or whatever, but how come it seems that everyone has a Feebas but ME???:bawl: Well, thanx for MOST of the advice anyways, Spider...However, if you try and pull of anymore 'Worship Me and Forever Thou Shalt Be Blessed' b.s. I'll find out where you live and cripple you (am I even allowed to make warnings?) And I don't care who gives me Feebas info...if I get it, then I get it. And just in case you forgot, there's always someone that's gonna be better than you, Spider, and that goes for me and everyone else.

And no, threats are not okay. I consider that worse than flaming. If Crimson Spider says something like that, though, chances are he's joking. I kind of do that for Zelda stuff (all that with the great Zelda Lore Master), but I don't expect people to take it that seriously. You shouldn't take this seriously either. It's a joke; either take it as one, or ignore it all together.
Erika
I don't think there's anyway of doing such a thing anyway. CS didn't offend me that much (but his attitude irritated me). I was just being me, I guess. I think I should just give up on getting Feebas, cuz nothing's working out for me at all. Oh, well. I guess other ppl will find this thread more useful than I have! :ball:
Guest Crimson Spider
It's O.K. Sometimes I just annoy people for no apparent reason. Notice how 2 people decided to dislike me temporaraly. On another board, I got into an argument with 3 other people. We'll I have confirmed that feebas is actually located on the squares you surf on. So the best way to find him is to go in colums on each area before you use waterfall. Fish five times, switch spot. I guess that I just got lucky.
