Sign Up Treasure Planet: A New Legacy

Yeah, not long ago I went to the cinema to go see Treasure Planet (a new Disney film ^_^) and I became obsessed. I gotta admit, I'm not expecting a huge turn out for this rp, I don't know how many people on OB are Disney fans let alone like Treasure Planet. But I thought, what the heck! I've been away for a few weeks and I need to get back into my stride!

So here's the rp ^_^

We're starting alongside the movie, so it starts round about when the "Jim" character is about to board Legacy, the ship that the rp is named after ^_^, with whatever companions he/she has in their company. But, what I want to do is fill every slot with a "new" character. So, for instance, I'm pinching the "Jim" character, but it won't be Jim per se, my character will simply fill that role for the sake of the game. I know that's a little confuzzle-ing but PM me, or just ask in-thread if you need any clarification, ok?

The only other character I'm desperate for is a character to take on the role of Silver, but that's the only bad guy I want... a Cyborg driven by greed, but torn by friendship ^_^ Haha! Poetry!

[b]Filled Role:[/b] Jim Hawkins
[b]Age:[/b] 17
[b]Apperance:[/b] Red hair, cut boyishly short, and intense green eyes. Stands an average height, and for some reason insists on wearing only one hoop in one ear. She has a fading scar by one ear from a "cat-fight" a long time ago. To look at, one could mistake her for a boy.
[b]Personality:[/b] Very tomboyish, brash and abrupt, with almost no respect for authority. To her, authority is simply a method of controlling someone. She could excel at school, but her heart just isn't in it. And she seems to have a suspiciously familier flair for mechanics.
[b]Bio:[/b] As with Jim in the movie, Linzi's father left when she was very young. She has always resented him for that, and spends her time becoming a child her father would not have wanted to have brought up, in her own way of saying "Bite me". However, her mother finds that a handful and is constantly worried about her daughter.

Oh yeah, and one more thing, don't worry if your character is real similar to the original character. Like, Dilbert can still be a dog, and the captain can still be a cat etc etc... ^_^ I'm just trying to provoke creativity!

[B]Bio:[/B] For as long as he can remember, Charlie had no parents. When he was very young, he was taken in and raised by a small orphanage. They did countless searches for the boy's mother and father, but all they found was that he was not born, but made in a research lab that developed androids. The info was leaked slowly to the orphans and they started to treat Charlie differently. He soon found out that it was because he was an
android and not a human like them. Charlie ran away from the orphanage a day before the researchers came to pick him up. Since people can't seem to respect him for what he is, he has decided to try and become a pirate.

Appearance: Long red hair. Is pretty tall, only a lil'. Weras black Jeans and a black jacket. Has red boots and a scare over his right eye.
Personallity: Can be dumb sometimes and funny. But is very silent around many people. He is proud of who he is.
Bio: Has a brother and sister. He hates them all, but not his sis'. Left his home at the age of 10, when his father broke up with his mother. He left with his sis', then wet on alone.

Well... assuming this thread is over two months old - I was just going to let it die in peace... But since Geist is so darn persistent (he won't just leave it be! O_o) I'm going to redefine it a little bit... See if we can get anymore bounty-hungry pirates to join us ^_^

*laughs* Okay... here's a redefinition of the plot:

Treasure Planet is a Disney movie (that isn't so new by now =/ ) and it basically revolves around the finding of a legendary treasure. The planet it was on was the stuff of fairytales and legends, and there was debate as to whether or not it even existed.

Now we're putting together a crew in an attempt to find that special planet! We believe we're in possesion of a map that will tell us exactly where the planet is, we're not sure how to read it yet, but we'll work it out along the way. And we'll find gold and riches beyond our wildest dreams ^______^;; How's that for an adventure?!

So... My character is above along with Geist's and vicky's if you need a framework to follow for character creation -- don't worry about it following the movie, we're mostly disgarding it ^_^

If you have seen the movie, make up a character [u]to fill a slot[/u] -- if you haven't, then don't worry about it, I can take on any extra characters we may need. I [b]do not[/b] want to see any characters straight out of the movie...

So... there we go ^_^ We can start with three of us, but maybe a few more looty-hungry pirates would liven things up a bit? Be unique! Be original! ^____^;;

For references, other noticeable caracter are:

Proffessor Dilbert Doppler, a well known astrophysician, the one who paid for the ship, he's accompannying Jim.

The captain, whose name I can't remember and her lieutenant (Good guys)

All other members of the crew are actually Sylver's crew, who managed to get them on the ship. Sylver is actually the cook.

Apperance: She has a cat-like appearance. She also always wears her favorite shadow black boots and jean jacket. Her hair is always tied up in a bun. She also has dark brown eyes that are almost black.

Personality: Kat always was friendly but she has her moodswings.

Bio: She has always grown up on ships that sailed everywhere in the galaxys. Her mother died giving birth and her father raised her on the ships he sailed on. He was a captain and all she ever wanted was to live up to her father's name amung the sailors. [/color]

[b]Bio:[/b] Meebo was just a little morph on Planet Merge untill Captain Flint attacked. Meebo sneaked upon his ship and sailed with Flint even though Flint didnt realize it. Meebo was found and was about to be sent off the plank into a black hole when he saw someone leaving in a rowboat. Meebo went on there and escaped. 100 years later. The person was now dead and Meebo was abandoned for many years untill finally a large ship came. Meebo went on this ship and it turned out to be the Legacy. Apperance: Basicly looks the same as Silver only he his ears are more dog like and he has a tail. Still has the Machine arm and leg.
Personality: Also like silver. He hates to lose and it really tough, but he also has that small soft spot. Likes to suck up to the Captain.
Bio: well, I guess hes been searching for the map that leads to treasure planet all his life. What ever Silver's past was. heh, I have no idea what that was.
