I'm not going to preach that they "take the challenge out of the game", because I believe in using every advantage to the fullest. Thing is, I like to run a Relinquished/control deck. Nexus_storm Posted April 8, 2003 Share Posted April 8, 2003 no honour any where and to the next point, i would love to know why they chose obelisk instead of anubis.....anubis sounds better and would be more fitting with the actual GODS..as obelisk is the only odd one out there..Ra sun god , Osiris god of the afterlife and anubis, the jackel god, watcher of the dead pharoahs, present at the weighing of the heart.....but of course you already knew this didnt you ! does any one else know what Ra was said to have done every night and day !.. Nexus_storm Posted April 9, 2003 Share Posted April 9, 2003 ive said it once before....i wont enter any thing i know i can not win..i find it fruitless to expend resources and energy on a worthless clash...i think that those who stock the god cards, and or exodia in their deck are just powerhousing..and quite frankly i wouldnt touch them for a duel with a 20 ft barge pole in my opinion your weak to rely or use them...i find it a whole lot more enjoyable to duel for 10 minutes on one duel then to keep sticking cards in defence mode..or laying traps etc and waiting for that one card...its like lord of the rings just with cards...ONE card in the darkness bind them (i cant remember the whole of the rhyme..but it prooves my point..by now you'll have guessed im hell bent on conducting my self with honour. im a paladin..and thats the way that i am, i apologise if i ruffle feathers being like this..but its the fact that i find no honour in turning over one card to end the duel instantly. Besides, what you would have seen in those pictures would be pictures of the prototype US versions- everything's subject to change before being released, in the same way that 'Raise Dead' (i.e. Monster Reborn) changed from an Ankh to a funny crystal thing. I wouldn't be surprised if a few fake English ones were doing the rounds already, along with all those 'Dark Magician Girl' ones floating about. Like I said, they're probably prototypes which haven't had their holofoil or hologram stamped on yet. UD/Konami may not know what to do with them yet, in terms of rarity/promotion/presentation and may leave it until they know what foil/holographic writing or sticker they want to put on it before releasing more pictures. They come out in Japan first, with the release of Yuugiou: International Duelist. Then they will be shipped over to America, so you can expect to find them withing 30 days. Also, you can pre order them now, and receive them on the 16th. You just need to find a website that sells them. The average price for all 3 of them together is $150. I suggest you go for them since the average bid for them is $560 dollars. Thats crazty. You could keep them, or make a $410 profit.
