[Yu Yu Hakusho!]

[b]Ana is a normal 14 year old girl with a normal life. She goes to school, gets good grades, and has friends. She lives with her parents in a nice house with her 2 twin brothers who are leaving for college.
Right now, Ana is leaving for school. Her mom sets out a bowl of oatmeal for her to eat.
"Morning, Mom." she states happily.
"Good morning, Ana. What time do you want me to pick you up tonight?" Mom asked.
"Around 7:30 he said." she answered.
"Well, good luck. I'm sure your team will get to the championships!" Mom said proudly.
Did I mention that Ana is the top player on her basketball team in her grade?
"Bye Mom!" Ana said as she grabbed her backpack from the floor.
"Bye" was the usual reply.
And so the day passed as usual.........
Until the last period of the day, around 1:30.
She had Science at the end of the day today and they were going to the computer lab for some research on the geological features of Florida. (this story takes place in California, though.)
Ana had finished her work already and the teacher had allowed them to use the internet.
Ana decided to check her e-mail.
She looked in her inbox and noticed some mail from her friends as well as an e-mail from someone in...Japan?
*What would I be getting mail from Japan for?* She asked herself.
She read the letter (the e-mail address was ended by saying .jp so she knew that it had to be Japanese.)
The letter was partially in English and mostly in Japanese, and it was hard for her to make it out since she wasn't very fluent in Japanese.
The letter read.........[/b]

[color=deeppink]'Ana Karina! What are you doing? You know that checking your e-mail here at school isn't allowed! Get off the internet now!' Mrs. Jones shouted angerily.

Ana got off immdeately and was quite embarrased at the intrusion. One of her friends came to her chair to talk to her.

'What happened, Ana?' asked Lily, one of her best friends.

'Not much. I was checking my e-mail. I got some strange e-mail from someone that I don't know. It was in Japanese, mainly.' Ana explained.

'You got an e-mail in Japanese? From who? Is it spam mail?" she asked quickly.

'I have on the highest spam filters that MSN can offer. I don't know how this got through.' Ana told her.

'Show it to me!' Lily pleaded.

'I can't! Mrs. Jones just got really mad at me. Can you come over today?' Ana continued.

'I think. I just have to call my mom.' Lily said.

Finally, Mrs. Jones summomed her science class back to their classroom and the final bell rang, announcing the end of school for the week. It was Friday. Lily and Ana walked together to their lockers to get their backpacks just as a strange girl dressed in pure black passed in front of them and said something in another language. Ana and Lily were totally freaked by this and were curious to find out who the girl was.

'Are you new here or something? What was it you said anyway?' Lily asked the strange girl.

'Althought you may not see me, I am still there.' she answered strangely, not even looking at them, but staring at the celing.

'Umm, are you ok?' Ana asked, quite frightened by the strange girl's behavior.

Suddenly, the girl just errupted, shouting like a 2 year old having a temper tanturm.

[b]'He's going to get you! Your life is going to go to ****ing hell!! And I hope he destroys you down to the very last atom of your being!!!!'[/b][/color]

[b]Ryan-[/b] "This is really going to hurt. Brace yourself and remember, the more you struggle the more the knot tightens." The man looked at me with pleading eyes. He had almost gotten away from me earlier today. The backs of his knees now bled from the severed tendons. Without those tendons, one could not walk and therefore be unable to get away.

I sunk my scalpel into his lower leg and began making a long linear cut down the side of his leg. He moaned and tilted toward unconciousness. I grabbed the back of his knees and squeezed. He screamed and slipped completely unconcious. I smiled. It made things easier to do. I stripped his leg of skin and hung it up to streach and dry. The rest of his skin soon followed.

I needed to apolster a new chair. Leather was always the best material.

[font=gothic][color=crimson][I]Flynn slouched back in the chair, bored out of his mind. The teacher was once again explaining the difference between aerobic and anaerobic respiration. For what had to be the seventh time that period. And most likely to the same person. He had lost track about fifteen minutes ago. He was like that in Biology. Mainly because he was acing the damn subject without a problem. If only he could do that in Physics...

He'd bother studying...but well, he couldn't be bothered. That was the main problem. The other problems were that he was convinced that Physics was the devil, making his teacher a Satanist, that he was god, making him unalterably opposed, that Physics was simply the art of getting common sense and trying to screw it up because you had nothing better to do, and lastly that very single part of physics was the concept of physics realising that it was the aforementioned screwing up of common sense, and digging itself a hole. It was digging itself a grave to bury itself in, and Newtons laws and whatnot were simply excess dirt that got thrown up.

Flynn had severe problems with Physics...most of them intentional.[/font][/color][/I]

[b]Ana stood there with her mouth open and her eyebrows raised.

'What? What did you say to me?'

The strange girl dropped to the ground and totally broke down. She began crying as if someone very close to her had died.

'I'm so sorry! He....he said that if I didn't say it that he'd kill my sister! He has her! Please! You have to help me!'

'Who? Who has your sister? Where is she?'

'I don't know! But he's here! Somewhere!'

Ana looked around immdeately for suspicious glares. A crowd was surrounding the weeping girl as 6 teachers rushed to the scene.

Lily was freaked.

'What the hell is going on with that girl? What the f*ck was she smoking?'

'Don't talk like that Lily! It doesn't sound like you!'

'Oh well, sue me. I'd like to know what the hell is wrong with her and why she said that sh*t to you.'

'I don't know. Don't talk to me now. Just look.'

'Look at what?'

'How the hell should I know. Just look.'

The two girls glared around the hall looking at the gathering crowd.

'I can't deal with this crap. Let's go!'

'Let go of me Lily! They haven't called our bus!'

'Fine! We'll walk!'

Lily dragged Ana through the school like a piece of luggage.
Lily stopped and looked in the consuler's office through the glass door. A cute boy with black hair was in there with what looked like his mother.

'Look.'

'At what? What are you doing?'

'The boy and his mom.'

'Yeah. So?'

'They're Japanese.'

'And what's your point?'

'Wasn't the e-mail you got in Japanese?'

'Yeah. What does that have to do with him?'

'Obviousely. Everything.'[/b]

To be perfectly honest, Ryu didn't know what his mother was here to talk about. He stood there, fidgeting, looking at other things in the room. A "no smoking" sticker over there... A "Students Against Drunk Driving" poster over there... Nothing completely amazing, that was certain. But he knew that there were things about to go down here. Things that he wanted to see.
Blinking slightly behind his glasses, he turned towards the window, hearing a slight "thunk". He caught the end of two girls running away, one of them having fallen against the window. Curious... Very curious...
He turned to his mother, telling her he would be back in a minute. She nodded, Ryu didn't really have to be there anyway, and it was nice that he wanted to explore his new school. She, of course, had no idea why he was so eager to explore.
The two girls were cowering at the side of the window, getting strange looks from passers by. At first they didn't seem to see Ryu, wrapped up as they were in their own little arguement. He leaned against the wall, slightly amused. "You two okay over there?" His English held a ring of a Japanese dialect, but it was understandable.
One of the girls wrenched her arm out of the grip of the other.
"Go ahead Lily, why don't [i]you[/i] explain this?"

'Cuz I said so. You know Japanese better than me!'

Ryu looked at the both of them and made an annoyed face.

'Hey, I AM speaking English here.'

'Oh...sorry.'

'Lily's a little slow today.'

'Shut up!'

Lily hit Ana and Ryu chucked a bit at the girls' behavior.

'Are you registering here?' Ana asked.

'Yeah. I think I'll start next Monday.'

'Where are you from?'

'I lived in Texas for 3 years and then moved here to California. But I'm originally from Japan.'

'Lemme guess. Tokyo.' Lily interrupted.

'Uh....I guess you could say that.....'

'Anyway-' Lily tried to say.

Ana hit her in the ribs and shut her up.

'We really didn't get properly introduced. My name is Ryu.'

'I'm Ana.'

'Liliana. My friends call me Lily.'

'So, you said you know some Japanese?'

'Not really. I am studying though.' Ana stated.

A tap on the window of the office stopped them from talking. Ryu's mom was calling him. His mom smiled at the two startled girls.

He turned at his mother tapping the glass. She made gestures indicating that she wanted him inside. He rolled his eyes... "[i]Haaaaai![/i]"
He turned back to Ana and Lily. "Okay, Ana and Lillian..."
"[i]Lily![/i]" insisted Lily.
"Fine, [i]Lily[/i], then. Maybe I'll see you guys around sometime, yeah?"
They both nodded, still not quite sure what to make of him, and staring at him as he made his exit. "Hey Ana... D'you think he could kill someone?"
"What the HELL?!" Ana gwaped. "Where the hell did you pull that from?"
"I dunno... Just that girl before. She said someone was going to kill her sister... or something..." Lily shrugged.

'Ok, you know what, Lily? I think it's time for you to go home.'

'Oh, you just figured that out now?'

'Shut up.'

The girls' quarreling today was quite unnessicary for such best friends, but as soon as they got to their bus, it left with a puff of diesel smoke and left them.

'Sh*t!! It's all your damn fault!!!' Lily steamed.

'MY fault? You're the one who dragged me around the school to look at that boy!!!!'

'You know what? Just shut the f up. I can't stand this anymore. I'm walking home, even if it takes me a week.' Lily shouted.

A crowd was gathering around the bickering girls as Ana noticed the Japanese boy, Ryu, and his mother leaving.
Ana didn't really want to fight with her best friend or grap any more attention, so she grabbed Lily's right hand and took off.

'What the hell are you doing? Let go of me!' Lily yelled painfully.
Ana was dragging her across the concrete like a rag doll.

She stopped abruptly and was being eyed suscipiousely by a nearby police officer that raids the school in the daytime.

'Where is he......' Ana asked herself.

'Where the hell is who?' Lily asked.

'The boy.'

'What, you have the hots for him now or something?'

'No. But you do!'

'Me! You're the one that got the e-mail!'

'Oh my God! I remember now!'

'Remember what?'

'There was one part of the e-mail that said, "I will be nearby watching you." And it was signed, "Your true love."'

'What the hell didn't you tell me it was a love letter?'

'You never asked.'

'So what you're saying is that someone, most likely Japanese or someone that knows Japanese, wrote you that e-mail. Sounds to me like your own personal stalker is around here.'

'How would you know? Anyway, no one around here can write an e-mail IN Japanese without having the software to do it. It wasn't in Romanji, remember? It was written in Kanji.'

'Kanji? What the hell is that?'

'Never mind. Where'd he go anyway?'

'The boy?'

'Yeah.'

'Why are you even looking for him. You'll see him on Tuesday.'

'We have Monday off?'

'Duh. 3 day weekend.'

'Crap. I gotta talk to him now!'[/b][/color]

Really, he wasn't sure what they were argueing about. Did they just scream and yell at each other the [i]whole[/i] time?
And they seemed suspicious already... Had she already read the email? Ryu wasn't sure what was in it, but he knew it had already been sent. And Ana didn't know it yet, but sorting this out could turn into a [i]deadly[/i] situation for her.
The more he thought about it, the more it seemed to make sense. And yet, not, at the same time. And, strangely, he cared what happened. He'd never met Ana before in his life, but he cared about what was going to happen to her.
Wheeling round he took himself away from his mother, excusing himself and promising to be home by his curfew, confident he could find his way back. Then he looked about for them.
"... 3 day weekend."
"Crap. I gotta talk to him now!"
Ryu blinked several times. Well... he was already popular... He jogged towards the sound of the voices, not realising how on-edge they were, and not realising their suspicions that he's the stalking email-sender.
"You talking about me...?"

I think the stalking stuff is gonna turn out good....we can PM each other for the idea that I just had....I don't want everyone to know....but for the time being, NO ONE else has been posting except us! Maybe it should be just you and me then....*walks away sad*

Ana turned sharply upon hearing Ryu's voice. [i]"He sounds almost casual!"[/i] she thought in disgust.
Ryu blinked a few times. "You okay?"
"Just thinking," murmured Ana hotly after a moment.
"Yeeeeeeeeah..." said Ryu raising an eyebrow doubtfully.
